Also, he was hard. Like a rock.

He stared at the darkness above him, head swimming. When he had gone to bed, he had been feeling well. Restless, but that was just time zones. Shinra had sent him and Zack on a mission in the far north, and the sun had still been up when it had been time to sleep.

Fresh air. He needed some fresh air, it would clear his head. Zack was sleeping in the other bed, but Zack could sleep in the middle of a warzone, and had in the past. Angeal stumbled to the window and opened it.

*kazoos in Final Fantasy flavor* Guys as someone who just finished binge watching Crisis Core, I need to yell about how much Angeal loves Zack.

He tarnished his sword for Zack.

He sides against Genesis for Zack.

He trusts Zack to kill him.

And even once he's gone, the monsters born of his DNA protect Zack and the things Zack loves. Lazard, who had Angeal's being superimposed onto his own, lost his drive for vengeance when he saw Zack, because Angeal's desire to protect and save Zack was stronger.

Call it familial, brotherly, parental, friendly, or romantic. Call it whatever you want. Just take a minute to acknowledge that Angeal loved Zack enough to give him everything.

I feel like in fanfiction, Zack has so many pet/cute nicknames for Cloud

Spikey

Cloudy

Sunshine

Babe

Love

...What the hell does Cloud call Zack? Just... Zack? Maybe "Puppy" (although that feels more appropriate for Sephack/Zangeal/Genesack)? I guess that fits his personality, but surely there's something.

Any ideas?

I’ve been working on my second Zangeal fic the last couple of days and I’m just so emotional. It’s post CC, Zack and Angeal both live and they’re struggling to fit into each others lives.

Especially after Zack changed so much and all the things left unsaid between them ;_;

If possible, would you please do me a favor and either pm me or comment below and tell me which of these Cloud-centric OT3s is your favorite and why you like it? Hello everyone please help me find these fics please ? I’m sorry there’s not much to go on I just remember really vague details about fics.

Right the first one I’m looking for is, I think it’s a Zangeal fic where zack is in band maybe? With Seph, Vincent, cloud and genesis. And they are neighbours, and it’s Seph/Vin and cloud/gen. I vaguely remember there being a mention of genesis having a drug overdose and zack prankning Angeal by putting his number on a advert. But I can’t really remember much about it. I’m 50% sure it was on ff.net? I think I found it while I was on a strifesodos binge but now can’t seem to. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Ps if anyone can find a fic that’s not marked as cloud/gen and has some nsfw art in it aswell I’d be really greatful, because I’m sure I was reading a Drabble/kinkmeme/prompt thing and it wasn’t marked as gen/cloud but it’s what kick started my descent into strifesodos so I’d really like to find it again, I’m sure at the time I was searching either Seph/cloud or zack/cloud.

Times like this I wish there was a search function in the ao3 history alas, it will never happen.

I had this up on ao3 to see if it would jog anyone’s memory but it got reported so I took it down, oh well I ain’t mad hope you guys can help.
