ah haha, i started working on something like this a year ago when my blu-ray copy of the irish mythology trilogy by cartoon saloon came in last summer but was unfortunately unable to complete the original because something about it was Off. i think i did pretty good this time around!!

wolfwalkers is one of those movies that stuck in my head long after i managed to watch it for the first time and id be lying if i didnt say the artstyle the movie is in is like, the perfect blend of elements for my little neurodivergent brain. not to mention the plot and overall message of the story???? fucking fantastic. i am proposing to it as we speak.

i might do another drawing of a wolfwalkers scene redraw in the future tbh, this was a lot of fun this time! i also just really like drawing wolves sdkfjb theyre second only to cats and dragons.

I've rewatched Wolfwalkers yesterday and I'm kinda laughing about how Bill, who was spending weeks hunting wolves, transformed for the first time in a high stress sutuation and immediately knew how to fight as a wolf and win.

Meanwhile during Robyn's first transformation, she was the biggest MoonMoon in all of Ireland and literally tried to jump from roof to roof on her hind legs.
