i just noticed that the drunk like a dream scene in the coffin house episode is the FIRST time wen kexing is being authentic and zhou zishu is seeing the soft insides of his fake exterior and it is happening TOTALLY OUT OF THE BLUE AND WITHOUT WEN KEXING KNOWING IT and. it is so jarring. like put yourself in zzs’s shoes this must be. so weird. and its SO ENDEARING. and he is immediately softening up!!!! zhou zishu, i mean. he looks. idk what to call it. he looks more open himself. and we know as the viewers who have already watched it that wen kexing is reliving a time of his childhood in which his shixiong was still with him. and i feel like, the camera, the way zzs is holding himself here, the entire SCENE is like we are seeing what wen kexing is seeing in him in this moment, his long lost shixiong whom he can utterly trust, who loves him and cherishes him dearly. zhou zishu actually looks younger, more alive somehow, and then hes opening up and looking at this miserable, childish drugged man who is more like a boy and who is smiling like the SUN
