Synopsis (synthesized from magazine summaries of the plot):
Princess Ankhnespaton [sic] (June Elvidge), daughter of King Akhnaton [sic] (Howard Gaye), has a run in with a band of thieves while traveling. Prince Karmit (Malcolm McGregor) of Syria arrives, disguised as a merchant, and saves the princess. The princess becomes enamored with Karmit and invites him back to the royal residence in Thebes.
While visiting the royal gardens, Karmit encounters a dancer, Arvia (Carmel Myers). He is instantly smitten. The princess is furious that Karmit has rebuffed her for a mere dancer.
Meanwhile, tension between those loyal to the king and those loyal to the old gods erupt when the seasonal flooding of the Nile river doesn’t occur. The princess finds in this situation an opportunity to get her revenge on Arvia.
The princess decrees that Arvia will be offered as a human sacrifice to the god Sobek, in order that the Nile will rise as expected. Arvia is adorned with a poisoned amulet to knock her out while she is fed to the crocodiles.
In an unexpected turn of events, the high priest Pasheri (Sam De Grasse) discovers that the intended sacrifice is his own daughter. Pasheri sneaks into the chamber where Arvia is to be sacrificed and saves her at the last moment.
With Pasheri’s aid, Karmit whisks Arvia away. As the Nile rises, the new couple sail away to Karmit’s kingdom to live happily ever after.
The princess goes on to marry Prince Tutankhamen (Bertram Grassby). And, after the death of her father Prince Tut will become King Tut.
Additional sequence(s) featured in the film (but I’m not sure where they fit in the continuity):
The Temple of Amun-Re is also depicted in the film.

Points of Interest:
While many contemporary reviewers of The Dancer of the Nile (DotN) didn’t mark it as an especially good film, props were given for the artistic effects achieved by Director Earle. Earle and his brother, Ferdinand Pinney Earle, were both pioneers of the era in special effects.
Ferdinand was a painter who contributed matte paintings and art titles to many films of the 1910s and 1920s. While William was primarily a director, both brothers ambitiously created films that were on the cutting edge in regard to techniques of incorporating matte paintings with live actors/studio-shot footage.
For William, it was DotN, and for Ferdinand it was A Lover’s Oath (1920/1925, presumed lost save for a few fragments), which was an adaptation of Omar Khayyam’s Rubaiyat. (ATM, I’m planning on doing the next installment of this series on this film!)
(Explanatory note: One technique at use here involves double exposure. Part of the frame is obscured while filming, leaving the obscured part of the film unexposed. The film is then rewound, with the exposed part of the film obscured, to film another element. The final result is, hopefully, a cohesive sequence.
Another technique is shooting through painted glass, which, if painted and lit correctly, results in the painting and the scene occurring behind it appearing as a singular space.
For example, a fully painted environment with live actors moving across the scene. In DotN, there is at least one scene where a live actress ascends a set of stairs, which is a painting. These techniques require an amazing amount of precision, but when done right they can be really dazzling. The double-exposure matting technique has persisted through most of film history, albeit rarely at the scale the Earle brothers were using it!
Below is an illustration of how a moving version of matte photography works from a 1926 issue of Photoplay, followed by some stills from DotN that used the multiple-exposure technique.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a few posts coming up that go into more detail on how special effects were executed in films of the 1920s!)
William P.S. Earle’s focus on the artistic elements without much regard for story or characterization may have left many critics cold, but DotN did prove to be a lasting attraction, running in theatres around the world for years following its release.  DotN was produced hot on the heels of the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb in 1922 in Luxor, which launched a new wave of Egyptomania. On one hand, Earle was cashing in on a trend, but on the other, he took the opportunity offered by assured profitability to experiment. In addition to the special effects discussed above, Earle attempted to capture as much period accuracy as possible in the painted settings, props, and costumes. Balancing historical accuracy with perceived “authenticity” in period art is exceedingly difficult—Earle seemingly had mixed success. However, one contemporary review in the magazine Art and Archaeology by Dudley S. Corlett (also the film’s technical advisor) is highly complementary of DotN’s attention to historical and artistic detail. [You can find the review in the transcription section!]
After Earle had more or less finished DotN, F.B.O. bought “Tut-ankh-amen” for distribution. F.B.O. financed reshoots that shifted the narrative away from Tut and towards Arvia, the dancer—hence the title change. I guess F.B.O. believed that cashing in on the trend of movies about dancers would be more lucrative than cashing in on Tut-mania!

"My compliments to all the family except for Lott[e]."
Tumblr media
Charlotte Philiberthe von Nassau-Beverweerd (1649-1702) (detail); created between 1675 and 1694, though the hairstyle would suggest a date in the 1670s; in the collection of the Rijksmuseum.
For Valentine's day, here's a tale of a romance that did not quite turn out as expected, but left a string of interesting documents.
Let's picture the scene: you're in love. Who do you tell? Well, obviously, you might confide the butterflies in your belly to your best friend, and it just so happens that the lady who's quite turned your head is a distant cousin of his.
This is the situation one Hans Willem Bentinck (1649-1709) found himself in during January and February 1675. His crush was Charlotte Philiberthe von Nassau-Beverweerd, a distant relation (their grandfathers were half-brothers) of his closest friend, then-Stadtholder of the United Provinces and future King of England William III (1650-1702).
Tumblr media
William III of Orange and Hans Willem Bentinck; dated to 1676. Collection of Stichting Kasteel Amerongen, via RKD Research.
William interceded on his best friend's behalf, and seems to have taken "Lotte", as he called her, aside when the latter, living with one of her sisters who had married an English noble, paid a visit to the Netherlands.
The Stadtholder, who was friends with Lotte as she was one of the few people who would engage him in some good, old-fashioned banter and, her love for a good joke aside, was an extremely intelligent conversationalist, made her promise to give a reply as to what he should tell his best friend; but that reply never came and so, William, writing to Lotte's brother-in-law, Thomas Butler, the 6th Earl of Ossory (1634-1680), with whom she lived, added a few P.S.-s to his usual (largely political) letters to Ossory:
In late January or early February, William wrote to Ossory:
Tumblr media
(P. S.) I beg of you to tell Lott[e] that, all her cruelty aside, I love her with all my heart, and to reproach her that she has neither written, nor even replied to my letter, as she had promised when we parted. I also hope that she will soon declare herself on that which she had promised me to think on when we parted, for Bentinck is very impatient to know how he stands, which seems very reasonable to me. G.*
(* In case you're wondering why William, or Willem in Dutch, signed as "G.", in his private correspondence: it's the abbreviation of the French equivalent of his name, Guillaume.)
However, it looks like Lotte was still ghosting both Bentinck and William, because he signed another letter to Ossory, datable to February 1675, off as follows:
Tumblr media
My compliments to all the family except for Lott[e]. G.
A third letter to Ossory lastly mentions Lotte in March 1675:
Tumblr media
(P. S.) I beg of you to assure Madame the Countess [of Ossory] of my very humble services, and [Lotte] as well, regardless of my not having any reason to be pleased with her. G.
One imagines that William may have taken his best friend aside and told him to forget about Lotte. Sadly, we have no information on how Lotte reacted to these messages.
If there is anything to be taken from this tale of historical heartbreak, it is that this sort of thing happens. If this Valentine's Day you find yourself unhappy because you're celebrating it alone and rather would not to, remember that you're not alone. Maybe also talk to your best friend, even if they're not a powerful noble in charge of a country.
Oh, and don't be a Lotte and ghost someone with an (romantic) interest in you. Just tell them in polite, but no uncertain terms that you're not into them.
From a historian's perspective, I find it fascinating how the Lotte-letters to Ossory highlight a part of William III's personality that is largely overlooked; posthumously often regarded as a guarded, almost robotically emotionless man, the young William in his early 20s who tries to play cupid for his best friend and adopts a very domestic tone in his missives going so far as to utilise nicknames paints a rather different picture.
Lotte was evidently forgiven, because she became a member of William and Mary's court, and briefly served under Anne as well. She never married, and her motives for doing so have been lost to history.
As for Hans Willem Bentinck, he met a woman called Anne Villiers (1651-1688) two and a half years later: she was, her mother having been the governess of William's bride Princess Mary, the future Mary II, a sort of sisterly figure to the Princess, and the two met through the marriage of their friends/employers. Contrary to William and Mary, for whom love only developed gradually in the aftermath of a fairly traumatic arranged marriage (especially on the then-15-year-old Mary's part), for Anne and Hans Willem Bentinck, their romance was much more organic: they fell in love at their workplace, so to say. To crown their personal happy end, William III stepped in to provide Anne, who was of a respectable family, yet had no fortune to speak of, with a dowry.
For the letters from William to Ossory, see: Japikse, Nicolaas [ed.]: Correspondentie van Willem III en van Hans Willem Bentinck (1927-1935), Vol. II, ii, letters 4, 15 and 16.

Today’s compilation:
Billboard Top Rock & Roll Hits: 1959-1962 1989 Rock & Roll / Pop / Doo Wop / Pop-Rock / Bubblegum Pop / R&B
Here's a lot of numbers I'm about to say: this four-cassette brick is the second release out of five that I'm going through in succession that, in total, documents the top-ten Billboard hits of each year from 1955 through 1974. Last week I posted the set containing 1955 through 1958 and today I'm posting 1959 through 1962.
Two things, though. First, as I noted in my 1955-1958 post, Rhino Records, the label tasked with gathering all these top hits, failed in some instances to acquire licenses for some of the songs, so they had to find ample replacements instead. But this could actually be something of a blessing in disguise, because even though it's sort of false advertising to present a compilation as having the top ten hits from each year and then not actually include them all, you'll still get a few nice, little, less remembered surprises instead. It ends up digging a tad bit deeper into Billboard's chart history and, as a result, shines a light on some songs that aren't thought of on the same level as, like, say, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by The Tokens or Dion's "Runaround Sue."
Second, it bills itself as containing the top "rock'n'roll" hits from each year, but that's a very loose and vague term. There's a bunch of tunes within these cassettes that aren't really rock & roll at all, and, really, it just seems like "rock'n'roll" is serving as a replacement catch-all term for "Hot 100," Billboard's long running chart that tracks the 100 most popular songs in the US every single week.
All that said, going through these oldies has been a real blast for me so far. I don't have very many oldies comps in my collection yet myself, so these sets are serving as some great 50s and 60s building blocks. And there's actually some songs in here that are really good that, surprisingly, I don't think I'd actually ever heard before, like the wonderful instrumental, "The Happy Organ" by Dave 'Baby' Cortez, or "Quarter to Three" by Gary U.S. Bonds, which is a song that Dion ripped off a few months later to drop the much more famous "Runaround Sue" 👀.
I didn't really think I'd be getting much out of these cassettes beyond something similar to your standard oldies radio station playlist, which is why I held off on biting this bullet for so long, but as it turns out, I actually seem to be getting a bit more than that, and it’s been a really pleasant surprise thus far ☺.
Highlights:
Cassette 1 (1959):
Bobby Darin - "Mack the Knife" Lloyd Price - "Stagger Lee" Wilbert Harrison - "Kansas City" Elvis Presley - "A Big Hunk O' Love" Dave 'Baby' Cortez - "The Happy Organ" The Coasters - "Charlie Brown" The Crests - "16 Candles"
Cassette 2 (1960):
Chubby Checker - "The Twist" The Ventures - "Walk - Don't Run" Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs - "Stay"
Cassette 3 (1961):
Bobby Lewis - "Tossin' and Turnin'" Del Shannon - "Runaway" Dion - "Runaround Sue" Gary U.S. Bonds - "Quarter to Three" Shirelles - "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" The Marvelettes - "Please Mr. Postman" The Tokens - "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
Cassette 4 (1962):
Gene Chandler - "Duke of Earl" Tommy Roe - "Sheila" Joey Dee & The Starliters - "Peppermint Twist - Part 1" Little Eva - "The Loco-Motion" Dion - "The Wanderer"
P.S.: Follow me on Twitter as I unpack these comps and dig into their tunes, telling some of the great stories behind them. Like, did you know that Little Eva, of "Loco-motion" fame, was actually a nanny for the song's writers, Carole King and Gerry Goffin, and that she originally recorded it as a demo for Dee Dee Sharp, but Sharp passed on it, so another label seized on the demo and then Little Eva went to #1? Or that Carole King also co-wrote and composed The Shirelles' "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" at around 19 years old? Or that "The Twist" by Chubby Checker was actually a cover that ended up playing a gigantic role in breaking down rock & roll's class barriers, as teenagers first made it popular in 1960, and then rich socialites twisted the nights away in nightclubs during the winter of 1961 and 1962, marking rock & roll's expansion beyond being just some rebellious teenage fad phenomenon? All those fun facts and more when you throw me a follow 😁!

Letters of Outlander
Jamie Fraser to Jenny Murray (with a note from Young Ian), Drums of Autumn Ch 34, began September 19, 1769 (Part 2)
Tumblr media
Saturday, 1 October
A great surprise today. Two guests have come from Cross Creek. You will recall, I think, my Telling you of Lord John Grey, whom I knew in Ardsmuir. I have not said that I had seen him since, in Jamaica, where he was Governor for the Crown.
He is perhaps the last Person one should expect to find in this Remote Place, so far Removed from all Traces of Civilization, let alone those Luxurious Offices and Trappings of Pomp to which he is Accustomed. Surely we were Most Astonish’d by his appearing at our door, though we at once made him Welcome.
It is a melancholy Event that has led him here, I am Sorry to say. His Wife, embarked from England with her son, contracted a Fever on the voyage, and Died of it while on the Ocean. Fearing lest the Miasmas of the Tropics prove as Fatal to the Boy as to his Mother, Lord John determined that the lad must go to Virginia, where Lord John’s family has Substantial Property, and Determined to escort him there himself, seeing that the Lad was greatly Desolated by the loss of his Mother.
I Expressed Amazement, as well as Gratification, that they should chose to make such Alteration in their Journey as required to visit this Distant Spot, but his Lordship dismisses this, saying that he would have the Boy see something of the different Colonies, so as to appreciate the Richness and Variety of this Land. The had is most Desirous of encountering Red Indians -- reminding me in this Respect of Ian, not so long ago.
He is a comely lad, tall and Well-form’d for his Years, which I believe are near Twelve. He is somewhat subject still to Melancholy from his Mother’s death, but is most Pleasant in Conversation, and Mannerly, for all he is an Earl (Lord John is his stepfather, I believe; his father having been Earl of Ellesmere). His name is William.
Tuesday, 4 October
The Indian in the corncrib died early this morning, in spite of Claire’s best efforts to save him. His face, body and limbs were entirely suffused with a dreadful Rash, giving him a most Grewsome and Mottled look.
Claire thinks he suffered from the Measle, and is much Concerned, this being a Vicious Disease, plaguish and quick to Spread. She would not suffer anyone to go near the Body save only herself -- she says she is Safe from it, by means of some charm -- but we did all Assemble near Midday, whereat I read some Scripture suitable to the Occasion, and we said a Prayer for the Repose of his soul -- for I trust that even unbaptised Savages may find rest in God’s mercy.
We are in some doubt how this poor soul’s Earthly Remains shall be Disposed. I would in common course send Ian to summon his Friends, that they might give him such Burial as is common among the Indians.
Claire says we must not do this, however, for the Corpse itself may Spread the Disease among the man’s own People, a Disaster which he would not Chuse to bring upon his Friends. She advocates burying or Burning the Corpse ourselves, and yet I am reluctant to undertake such Action, which might be easily Misunderstood by the man’s Companions -- they thinking that we Sought by this means to hide some Complicity in his Death.
I have said nothing of this Concern to our Guests. If Danger seems Imminent, I must send them away. Still, I am loathe to Part with their society; so isolated is our situation. For now, we have Laid the Body in a small Dry Cave in the hill above the House, wherein I had thought to build a Stable or Storehouse.
I ask your forgiveness for thus Unburdening my Mind at the cost of your own Peace.  I think all will be Well in the end, but for the Moment, I confess to some Worry. Should Danger -- either from Indians or Disease -- seem to threaten, I will send this Letter at once in the care of our Guests, that it may be Certain of reaching you.
If all is Well, I will write quickly to tell you.
Your Most Loving Brother,
    Jamie Fraser
Postscriptum, 20 October
We are all Safe, though the Manner of our Deliverance is most Melancholy; I will tell you of it later, having no great Heart for the matter at present.
Ian has been Sick of the Measle, as has Lord John, but they are both Recovered, and Claire bids me say that Ian does Exceeding well, you shall have no Fear for him. He writes in his own Hand, that you may know it is the Truth.
--J.
Dear Mam --
I have been Sick, but am all Right agayne. I had a Fever, with most Peculiar Dreams, full of odd things. There was a great Wolf that came and spoke to me in the Voice of a man, but Auntie Claire says this must have been Rollo, who Stayed by me all the time I was Ill, he is a very Good Dog and does not bite very often.
The Measles came out in small Bumps beneath my Skin, and itched like Fury. I should have thought I had sat down on an Anthill, or wandered into a Hornet’s nest. My head felt twice its usual Size, and I sneezd quite Ferocious.
I had three Eggs to my Breakfast today, and porridge, and have Walked to the privy alone twice, so I am quite Well, though I thought at first the Sickness had left me Blind -- I could see nothing but a great Dazzle of Light when I went outside, but Auntie said this would soon be remedied, and it was.
I will write more later -- Fergus is waiting to take the Letter away.
Your most Obedient and Devoted Son,
        Ian Murray
P.S. The Porpentine skull is for Henry and Mattie, I hope they will like it.

‘The Beauty of a Lost Art’ Chapter 12: To Feel Worthy
My beautiful Molly,
I find it easier to open myself up to you lately. You nurture my heart and mind so lovingly. I hope I didn’t disrupt your essay writing. I found myself back in my flat rather than going to you at first. My eyes kept focusing on your chair and how much I wish you were in it. I knew I needed to see you. I just needed you. It is a bit like having a piece of you with me.
Thank you for just holding me and being there. I never said so at the time, but when you answered the door in your pajamas with your hair in a bun and your reading glasses adorning your face, I thought you looked breathtaking. You made tea for us as I told you about my most recent Sherrinford visit; chai for you and earl grey for me. I took a sip of yours, as I never had it before and had previously wondered why it was your favourite. It is a most comforting taste.
That’s what it is about you, Molly. You’re comfort personified; my comfort to be specific. You make me feel warm and safe and loved all at once. I am slowly but surely allowing the last bit of my walls to be broken down. It’s you. I want you to brush away the rubble and have me completely. I am yours. You are my home; your arms, your lips, your voice, your eyes. Every piece of you is lovely.
It’s a good thing you wouldn’t mind me snogging your senselessly because I cannot promise that I won’t. I enjoyed holding you in my bed. Also, you’re correct in assuming that I fancied your choice of nightwear. I read this quote that resonated with me, as I realized the truth behind it: “The best part of your life will be those small, nameless moments you spent with someone who matters to you.” If you recall, I once told you that you were the one person that mattered the most and that still rings true. You didn’t just matter the most to my plan but you mattered the most to me as the woman I loved.
For the first time in my life, I feel worthy. More specifically, I feel worthy of your love. You loved me even when I loathed myself. You have shown me that I’m not the awful person everyone always said I was. I never cared what they thought, but rather, believed they were right. Thank you for loving me. For believing in me. You make me so happy. I love you, my honeybee.
As for the curious autopsy you performed, I shall stop by tonight, though you’ll know that before you receive this letter. I’ll pick up the thumbs too, thank you. Maybe you would like to help with my experiment in the lab if you aren’t busy. Perhaps I should bring fish and chips. It could be a date.
With all my love,
               William xxx
p.s. As terrible of a pun that joke was, it did make me laugh. I was thinking we should experiment more in the bedroom…bring test tubes and beakers.
p.p.s. That joke was awful, I apologize.

TravelCon Update!
Hey everyone!
As you (may) know, I’m hosting a conference in September called TravelCon.
For a long time, I’ve dreamed of organizing a conference in conjunction with our Superstar Blogging program. Something that would take everything we have online and bring it to life. I want to bring our students, other travel bloggers, and industry experts together to learn, network, connect, and, overall, have a ton of fun! I love the web, but in-person events are 10x better for learning and networking. This is where you can make the most lasting connections and relationships.
TravelCon is a three-day conference in Austin, Texas from September 20th to 22nd, 2018. It will feature keynote speakers, workshops, networking events, writing sessions, photography walks, and opportunities to pitch yourself to brands and tourism boards. This is a conference for people who want more than free stuff. This is the conference for people who are looking to get serious about turning their blog into a business.
With beginner and advanced sessions, we have tracks and tips for people at all levels of success. At this conference, you’ll learn what is currently working right now and what you can do over the long term to create the career you desire. I believe the best conferences have people of varying skill levels so everyone can interact and learn from each other. For too long, travel media conferences have been only geared toward newbies. This conference is really about leveling up, no matter where you are in your blogging journey.
Today, is the last day for early, early bird tickets! The prices go up tomorrow! The early, early bird ticket price is only $249 USD. Your ticket includes lunch each day of the event, coffee and tea, all keynote speeches, networking events, workshops, breakout panels, evening parties, and whatever other cool activities we add later! Good News from Around the World
Big conferences can often seem impersonal, which is why we’re focusing on small discussions, panels, workshops, and mentor sessions. We want you to walk away with actionable advice. We want you to think, “Wow! I learned so much!” We’re going to have writing, tech, video, and photography workshops were people will edit your work, solve your tech issues, and help you improve your photos and videos. We don’t want people to feel lost in the crowd.
There’s plenty of room in the travel sphere for an event where media professionals and bloggers can go to learn and share the nuts and bolts of the business — the real, nitty-gritty stuff that separates people from the pack and allows them to build sustainable, profitable, and impactful online travel businesses.

Tomorrow, the price goes up $50 USD!
And we only have a 140 tickets left!
So if you’ve been waiting, don’t wait much longer!
You can get your ticket and reserve your spot by clicking here.

So let’s do this!

The TenKei Trading Techniques 4.0
The TenKei Trading Techniques 4.0
The TenKei Trading Techniques 4.0 Whichever Way The Market Moves You Really Can Trade And Grow Rich
Hello, This is the latest updated version of the TTT! This is the TTT 4.0! Believe it or not, it has taken me years to come up with this and now when I look at it, it all seems so simple and straightforward… I guarantee that’s just what you will think once you see it. This particular module contains everything you will see in the other modules!
The TTT 4.0 is all about the usage of the New 73/22 Parabolic Stop And Reverse Indicators (as I have named it). I created it by combining the Parabolic 0.02, 0.2 Custom Indicator with a second Parabolic which makes a perfect all round Indicator and Setup and Entry Indicator. Where you Exit your Trade, is where you are happy with your profits! No Trading technique is 100% perfect but based on the setups and follow through of the market moves, this new TTT 4.0 is pretty close to perfect. This system works, if you want to just try and see if this makes you happy, then the TTT might not be for you but if you’re ready to buy it, it means you are serious about yourself and you’re ready to succeed.
And we would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with the performance of the TTT, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund, under the condition that you provide proof in the way of statements or records list showing that you really worked on the system for the full 30 days.
Now Test The TTT 4.0 By Getting Started — Click Right Here!
Or if you need to know more, read on… The whole course is based on, around and upon what I mentioned above, being the 73/22 PSAR Indicator. All you have to do is choose a module that suits your needs and your pocket.
So, please do be sure to choose your/a module once you decide what you wish to learn. Yes, don’t ‘Beat Around The Bush’, don’t ‘Dilly Dally’ and please don’t ‘Procrastinate’ (in whatever you do in life) any longer, as this has been on its way to you for years! I truly ‘Believe’ that this is what you have been waiting for… ….so do it now!
This module being The TenKei Trading Techniques 4.0 contains all of the modules from the other courses, where you’ll have all you need to get you started, whether you be a seasoned Trader or a brand new starter. This module is by far the best module to choose and once chosen, all you have to do is Watch, Listen and Learn (and thereafter, Earn). Thanks for reading
Wilson P Williams P.S. Although the TTT can be used on any market of your choice, my main focus throughout the course is about Trading the DAX 30. Now Test The TTT 4.0 By Getting Started — Click Right Here!
A Very Personal Message From Me: It wasn’t easy creating this course as I sat around for well over a year thinking about how to perfect the TTT, as in what to do and how to do it and when it came to me, I sat around thinking as to whether I should release it and when I did, I was compelled to share verses and scriptures from the Bible with you. Sharing verses and scriptures from the Bible with others is something I have never done before and it’s not even something I wanted to do but I felt compelled to do it, I felt pushed to do it, I felt challenged by God to do it, so, I did it! “For God Has Not Given Us A Spirit Of Fear And Timidity But Of Power, Love And Self Discipline!” 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT My late Mum always used to say to me: ‘Son, read your Bible, read your Bible!’ and the more Mum said it, the more I resisted it! Has that ever happened to you?
You know, the more someone pushes you towards them wanting you to do something, the further away from them and that something you want to move and sometimes, listening to your parents is just not cool, especially when it came to reading a Bible? I mean, I wanted to run from my Bible!!! So, I ran to reading ‘Personal Development’ books and listening to ‘Personal Development’ Audio tapes, CDs and then Media Files etc…
Now Test The TTT 4.0 By Getting Started — Click Right Here!
It wasn’t until I started reading and listening to the ‘Personal Development’ books and materials as written by Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Earl Nightingale, Brian Tracy and many more that I heard them quoting passages and verses from the Bible! And that’s when I started checking to see if what they were saying was true and really from the Bible — and it was! “If Thou Canst Believe, All Things Are Possible To Him That Believeth!” Mark 9:23 I then realised (over many years) that most of the very best courses from many of the very best ‘Personal Development’ authors were developed on the fundamentals of the Bible, being Faith, Hope and Love. Now, without making this a lengthy piece (or sermon) to read, do your own research, for every Motivational Quote you may hear from now on, grab a hold of a Bible and see if you can find it or the equivalent passage or verse within the Bible.
Believe but don’t forget to test what you are told… Test everything that you are told! Read — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test what I am telling you too! My testing what others said came about by default but from here on in (with maybe a few exceptions) all of my Motivational Quotes will be, from the Bible. Now I’m not saying give up on your Motivational Quotes, as I think they are very good and in fact, they have got me to where I am now, which is, writing to you! But it does mean I now go directly to the source, directly to the message rather than having The Truth diluted by a messenger. That’s my story. Now, if you haven’t already done so… go pick up a Bible and remember to buy the TTT 4.0 module! Now Test The TTT 4.0 By Getting Started — Click Right Here!
“May HE Give You The Desire Or Your Heart And Make All Your Plans Succeed!” Psalm 20:4 In these times, regardless of what you ‘Believe’ and to whom you ‘Believe’… …God Bless You!

Check Out This Testimonial From One Of Our TTT 4.0 Users: “I was fortunate to have purchased the very first TTT manual from Wilson over 10 years ago now, so have witnessed at first hand the development of this wonderful Trading system. What is so great about TTT is those same founding principles, including the vey same markets traded, have remained in place, but over the course of time Wilson has continually worked on and refined the techniques so we now have TTT version 4. Each stage of the way I couldn’t believe how the system could be improved, but the latest version is certainly the best yet! Wilson’s totally unique approach to trading (a true maverick!) is reinforced by his education and training which in TTT4 is in the form of a multiple video presentation course. The visual updates and live examples are invaluable, and a wonderful way to learn a new technique. It also makes the course much more engaging and entertaining too! I really enjoyed taking the course and couldn’t wait to get onto the next module! The detailed modules cover everything you need to know, right from setting up your charts, the signal and techniques involved, with worked examples all demonstrated in live video format. All you need to do is sit back and watch the videos as many times as you like, and the techniques soon become clear, whether you are a more experienced trader or a complete trading novice. The signal itself is wonderfully simple, but so effective, with exact entry and exit points explained, and after a bit of practice you will soon find yourself making winning trade after winning trade. What’s more the TTT4 is totally flexible, whether you are a morning, afternoon or evening trader (or all 3!) you can use it whenever you like, plus the markets traded all have super low spreads, none of this 20-25 pip spread before you even start. All time slots are covered in the course by the way! The course will also give you valuable insight into managing your risk, including locking in your profits in Wilson’s own and totally unique way. I can honestly say you will definitely not regret enrolling in the TTT v4 course, in fact you will find it to be one of the best decisions you could make. Thanks so much for sharing your gift with us Wilson, and as the course says believe in yourself, trade and grow rich!” – Richard D  Frequently Asked Questions When does the course start and finish? The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course – you decide when you start and when you finish. How long do I have access to the course? How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like – across any and all devices you own. What if I am unhappy with the course? We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund, under the condition that you provide proof in the way of statements or a records list showing that you really worked on the system for the full 30 days. Can I still use the TenKei system even though I live outside the UK? Yes you can, as the TenKei is a Trading Technique which can be used anywhere in the world and on any market. Spread betting is legal within the UK. If you live outside the UK, please check with your country as to the laws of spread betting before opening spread betting account. Can I trade using the TenKei system in any currency? Yes, you can! You can Trade using the TenKei in any currency you wish so as long as your broker will allow it. Can the TenKei system only be used for spread betting? No, the TenKei system is not a spread betting system, it is a Trading system. This means the techniques can be used on any market and with any broker.

An unexpectedly awesome spontaneous trip to Lewes Castle.  Hard to get accustomed to how fast the trains can take you places around here.
Lewes Castle is one of the first Norman castles to have been built by one of William The Conqueror’s relatives (his brother-in-law, in this case) after the Norman conquest of England.  The conquered territory was quickly subdivided among William’s loyal barons to pacify the largely Anglo-Saxon population.  The southeast (i.e. Sussex) was particularly important to subjugate quickly, since it formed the most direct route from London to William’s native Normandy.
He wasn’t building from scratch, though.  Until 20th Century weaponry changed everything, a defensible spot was pretty universal through the ages.  The trajectory of Lewes Castle is:
STONE AGE HILL FORT  made of dirt.
ROMAN FORTIFICATION still made of dirt.
ANGLO-SAXON BURGH (anti-Viking fort) made of dirt and...LOGS!
NORMAN CASTLE finally made of stone!
MEDIEVAL CASTLE still made of stone, gradually falling into disrepair after the 1400s...
RUINS.
No one ever directly attacked Lewes Castle, though it was an incredibly important power center for the first 300 years after the Norman takeover.  The closest thing to it was the BATTLE OF LEWES in 1264.  The arrogant King Henry III quartered his army in and around Lewes when squaring off against the noble Simon de Montfort. The battle took place north of the city (first landscape photo) and went well for the King’s men at first.  But the tide turned, the king’s forces broke and were pursued through the town, where the battle largely ended near the incredible Lewes Priory (second landscape photo).  Hundreds of men were buried in mass graves there.
The King’s men in Lewes Castle, terrified that Montfort’s men would assault them, shot fire arrows into the thatch roofs of the surrounding town, setting it ablaze...all to discourage any attack on them.
P.S.  The magnificent Priory was destroyed in the 1500s by Henry VIII as part of his crusade against the Catholic church.  Before that it was one of the richest churches in England.
P.P.S.  Simon De Montfort is considered one of the fathers of parliamentary democracy.  He led the Second Baron’s Revolt to protest Henry’s abuses of power, believing that the King should be a protector of the law.  When he took power after the victory at Lewes, he called the first two Parliaments in history, the second of which included commoners in its constituency.  Unfortunately, some of the other powerful barons were jealous of his growing influence, switched sides, and Montfort’s eldest son was killed fighting the treacherous Earl of Gloucester.  Supposedly after learning this, Montfort led his men into battle at Evesham saying, “Then it is time to die.”
