May choked on her food and quickly hide her Scroll. She didn’t see much but she saw enough to turn her a deep shade of red. Her ears burned and heart was skipping beats. Marrow gave her a worried look, slowly patting her back.
“I told you it was spicy and not to inhale it,” He mumbled taking back his leftover curry. May tried not to make a scene, tried to remember that people were still filtering out from the lunch rush to return to class and tried to keep her death quiet as she swallowed her food.
“He’s did warn you,” Joanna grinned across from across the table. She fished around in her bag for a second. After all these months May knew it was an act. She saw Joanna’s eyes brows raised ever so slightly as she caught up with their group chat. Somehow the damn women kept a straight face and didn’t blush. Elm and Marrow didn’t notice the thick gulp caught in Joanna’s throat. May could practically feel it against her lips. But instead of getting caught in the memory, she focused on what Joanna was saying, “Here’s some water to calm you down.” She pulled her thermoflask from her back and set it in front of May.
“Asshole,” May growled, kicking Joanna under the table. There was only a rich laughter that only made May’s heart flip in a different way, pulling the soft throb between her legs to her chest. She did drink most of Joanna’s water and took a deep breaths afterwards, focusing back on their previous discussion. “As I was saying I agree with Joan. It’s bullshit how they expect us to turn in our assignments while we’re on missions.” She stabbed her fork into Marrow’s curry one last time, stealing a piece of meat and potatos.
“Yeah but Atlas’ has the best CTT Tower,” Elm crossed her arms and sighed. May ignore Marrow’s lingering eyes on the stretching fabric across Elm’s arms. Mostly because if she teased him, Joanna was going to get her back and certain… areas was already teased from Winter’s picture. “The only place with no signal are the mines so technically we don’t have an excuse.”
“Three hour debriefing, an hour of transport and two hours of fighting Grimm,” Marrow listed, tail betraying his calm voice and thrashing with fustration, “Isn’t study time.” He pushed curry around until a thought hit his head. It was cute how his tail flexed straight with realization before relaxing and swaying again, “How the hell is RMJT (Ramjet) keeping up?”
May blinked, struggling to keep her face blank as she shrugged, “I’m used to the bullshit pressure. Rich family, kid champion.” She said. As if Winter doesn’t carefully picks out their missions. As if Silvio didn’t hacks into their instructors accounts to give to them notes about the lessons they missed or a review sheet for pop quizzes. He offered to alter their grades but the Mantle Rats were too noble- “Ow! Fuck!” A sharp jerk and pull on her wrapped braid nearly threw May off her seat.
There was an annoyingly stupid gasp, Silvio passing by with a mountain of food that threaten to topple over, “Language, Ms. Marigold. Don’t let these uncultured Rats rub off on you!”
“I’ll shove the next HR shot in your eye you little fuck!”
Silvio stuck his tongue out. “The Schnee wants RMJT in her office, after you two finish your appitizers,” He said as he continued walking across the unspoken boundry between the students and offical military personal. May watched, massaging the dull burn away.
Clover helped the boy spread out food while Glade grabbed a plate and immediately started eating, nodding along to whatever Dr. Peitro was saying. Occasionally they’d had to set their utensils down, hands slowly going from sign to sign or just typing something out on their Scroll when the brightest mind in Atlas didn’t understand.
Her attention was drawn away when Marrow elbowed her, asking for help about something from their political and law class. May answered all the questions eyes only occasionally drifting to the little shit and Glade. With the highly maintain fade haircut cut and muscular build, the compression on their chest, they looked good. Healthy. They’re cheeks weren’t hallow even if their eyes…
Even if their eyes was still glowing that controlling eerie blue-
May took a deep breath, giving Marrow a weak apologetic smile and asked him to repeat the question again. Despite what Silvio said, Joanna and May took their time, both stealing some of Marrow’s curry and answering whatever questions he had. She counted the times her Scroll buzzed. On the third, fourth, then fifth buzz, all within seconds of each other, May and Joanna got up, giving the two Junior Ops a small smile.
“See you two for Conditioning?” Joanna asked.
“Of course!” Elm said with a large smile. " We’re beating our record today, Greenleaf!" Elm practically yelled, giving a big smile and even a bigger flex. Soon the women will need a new uniform, she could practically hear the seams rip.
“You say that every week…” Joanna mumbled a little tired. They took their time departing. If Winter was going to be a brat, they were going to be a tease.
The Specialist building was almost scary quiet. Empty, really. At first May hated it. It made her heart beat all to loud. Even Joanna must have heard it because she chuckled low and soft. May’s skin pricked, feeling a little too cold in the area where her partner liked to rest her hand. But Joanna didn’t, the red blinking lights and cameras in the hall stopping her. This was one of the most securied areas under the military’s control… which made May’s heart race a little faster and harder until her hand was shaking.
Joanna stepped close, laughing low and hot in her ear as her hand slowly wrapped around hers to steady her Scroll against the scanner. May tried not to tense and give the women any reaction, but she could feel the burning in her ears. There was a tiny yelp that would be hidden by the hissing doors on the security footage.
For some reason May expected to find Fiona seated on the desk, taking up the place where papers or a keyboard would be and demanding all of Winter’s and Robyn’s attention like the little brat she was.
Instead she got to see the picture Winter sent in person, with Robyn and Fiona corning the Specialist onto her own desk. The pair had worked that stupid uniform open a little more. Fiona didn’t leave Winter’s collarbone, only peeling back enought to give May and Joanna an angry glare for interrupting. Then she sank in those sharp teeth with renewed purpose.
Joanna hummed low and hot at the sight, helping May step into the room and locking the door closed. May’s heart beat moved a little lower. Fi and Robyn must have headed over right after Winter sent the picture. By now Winter was out of breath, eyes only slightly unfocused as the deep blush ran down and down, past her clevage bound in lingere and dusting her firm abs. A little lower were Fiona’s hands, restless and tugging a little at the belt and straps that circled her thighs- Ahem, thigh high boots.
Fiona had that look in her eyes. She was far to focused, breath too measured and ears fluttering in fustration- Suddenly May was in the changing room, months and months ago. When Winter first riled Fiona up to fuck Robyn, when May first felt Joanna’s strong hands on her chest. Her breath stuttered and she closed her eyes trying to control herself but Fiona’s sharp huff demanded her attention.
“These kinda look like harness, don’t you think?” Fiona asked, tugging at the belt and leathers again. Faux innocent voice, clipped with the slightest heat making everyone in the room shiver, even Joanna. May responded with a sharp breath. The low and starving that’s been ignored for months growing again.
If Winter had a response, it was lost against Robyn’s lips. The soft moan that had May’s blood boiling was not. Robyn groaned a little low and a little loud. She let got of Winter’s bottom lip and pulled back, satisfied. Fiona wasn’t and she made cute complaining noises as Robyn had to coax their girlfriend off Winter. It was a bit of a work, with how Winter laughed softly and enabled Fiona’s bratty behavior with soft kisses and lingering touches.
May licked her lips and watched, enjoying the rare sight of the three of them together. Joanna’s arms wrapped around her waist, heating up the cold spot that missed her. It wasn’t as bad as May thought it would be. Somehow… somehow they all made it work. Stealing little moments like this right in the middle Atlas’ most survaillanced buildings made everything bareable.
Joanna’s soft chuckle only added an innocent flavor to the heat in the air. “Sorry, but I just remembered that saying,” She murmered. “Sex is nice but have you tried fucking the system?”
“It wouldn’t be trying if you two came earlier!” Fiona growled under her breath. May took a long and slow breath, trying to keep calm. She grit her teeth as Joanna’s hip’s met her ass, hands rolling down from her waist to hips, thumbs snuggly catching on her belt.
“You three rats have no self control,” May growled under her breath. She didn’t look down. If she avoided her hardening dick it’ll soften… eventually. If her girlfriends stop teasing her.
“Sorry if your definition of control is toture!” Fiona looked ready to pounce on her, eyes below her waist. She was biting her lip and when Winter cleared her throat Fiona tensed, back ram rode straight as she glared at Winter.
“That’s actually what I wanted to talk to you four about,” She said. Every button closing her blose only made Fiona’s hands and ears twitch in fustration. Joanna laughed, leaving May and picking up their little lamb.
“I’ll calm her down, I’ve got years of practice with Robyn,” Joanna said. The former detective only rolled her eyes, walking pulled May and Winter to the other couch in her office. Any angry comments was silenced with her lips pressed against Fi.
“So? I’m guessing this involves whatever plan you have after mid-terms?” Robyn prodded. She stretched horizontally along the couch… placing her head in May’s lap. May stiffen, member throbbing hard. She didn’t know if she was thankful that Winter and Robyn ignored it or if she should curse them both out.
It’ll be so easy for Robyn to flip up her skirt, slide her out and-
“Kitten.”
“Stop calling me that,” May huffed looking away. her breath hitched, feeling Robyn’s rich laugh against the nearly dampening fabric of her skirt and panties. “I got… distracted.” She glared down at Robyn who looked far to smug as she licked her lips.
"We’re talking about Fiona pegging you, princess," Robyn said.
And suddenly May could only feel Robyn’s lips dragging down her length while Fiona claws into her hips from behind- May groaned, dropping her head back as her cock throbbed and the ache pulled her back to reality. She came too in time to see Fiona pull back from Fiona, her fustrated eyes on the tent of her skirt. She almost snarled, pulling Joanna down for a heated kiss. Joanna chuckled, holding Fi close and meeting it the frantic energy with a cooling slowness.
May gulped and looked back at Winter, refusing to give Robyn any attention even if the damn women played and lightly tugged on her wrapped braid. “What about it?” May asked, a little too breathlessly.
“You haven’t been prepping, have you?”
May grumbled and turned her head away. When Winter first suggested it, May venomly denied it. She was curious but it was anal. Then Winter held her down with Glyphs and explained all the cleaning and prep stuff. It wasn’t romantic, it was incredibly embarassing but it settled May’s anxieties. She tried to hold onto the calm feeling even as her palms felt a little to warm.
“Thought so… How about we relax that first time sharing rule?” Winter asked, reaching behind the couch and passing a sucpeiciously nondiscript box to Robyn.
“Are these the weighted ones?!” Robyn asked with a gasp. She sprang up, pulling one from the set and doing a close inspection of it. May’s face heated up and she avoided Winter’s slight grin. It wasn’t the usual teardrop shape that scared May, it was more of an angular topedo with a thin neck. It was definately bigger than Winter’s fingers and if it stretched-
May struggled to take a breath and she looked at the ceiling. She was reaching the point where it would take more than time to calm her down and faught against the throbbing that was fogging her head.
“Yes, they are the weighted, vibrating ones.” Winter said. Vi-brating… May took a deep breath, trying not to think about the pleasure rolling down her cock, the ghost sensations lingering at her thighs. Physical Conditioning was in 20 minutes and she’d like to be able to look at Elm and Marrow in the eyes. So instead May focuses on Winter’s voice, calm and collected, “But as I was saying, I wouldn’t mind if we bent the rules if it means you three can help May prep.”
“Really?!”
“You don’t need to sound so excited and happy!” May nearly yelled at her. That only caused Fiona’s grin to grow, and her ears to dance. Thankfully Joanna was laying on her, only a little propped up to give Fiona some wiggle room.
She used it to come a hand through Joanna’s hair, “So what can I do?” Fi asked. Far too excited. At least Joanna was able to kiss all that sexual fustration away. Otherwise May was sure Fi would be bending her over Winter’s desk- May groaned breath stuttering. It’s been far to long is her imagination was running this wild. Four girlfriends and she feels like a damn virgin again.
Winter and Robyn’s laugh helped a little. Gave her something innocent to focus on.
“No riding or oral,” Winter said. Fiona made sounds of protest and Winter quickly explained, “Glade said you probably have an oral fixation and you’d probably kill her.”
“What a snitch!” Fi growled under her breath. “You need to sneak them out again so I can-”
“What? Make out with them again?” May teased. Fiona huffed crossing her arms, her ears flicked once in annoyance and that only made everyone laugh. But talking about Glade… it cooled her blood. Guilt crawling into her chest as an uneasy silence took over. “How… how are they?”
“They’re eating the military’s budget,” Winter answered with a smug note. “Still haven’t talked and… actually,” Winter checked her Scroll. “Would you like to see them work in the lab?”
“Yes!” Fiona said trying to jump up and slamming her head into Joanna’s jaw. May listens to the soft apology and Joanna only laughs it off. The women takes hits from Elm’s hammer on a regular basis.
It takes a few minutes for May’s hard-on to fade. It was less the idle chatter and catch up and more of the bittersweetness of it. How talking to Winter was so rare now days. She grabs Winter’s hand, almost forgetting how cool it is and just holds it until she couldn’t stall anymore.
The trip to the Science Department was surprisingly short. It was close, incase of an emergency the best Hunters in the world would be there within minutes. But Winter takes each turn without looking, doesn’t need to with how much she escorts Glade around.
Winter’s clearance grants them all entrance beyond the lobby and slowly they felt the temprature rise. May sees Fiona’s ears twitch before her human hearing can make out feint pounding. Metal on metal, deep and evenly passed, almost mechanical.
The thick display glass muffles a lot of the noise, to the humans. Fiona grumbles and winces, eventually stealing both Robyn and May’s scarf to nestle her head into. Winter gives an apologetic smile and turns to the window again.
Silvio was sitting on the bench nearly half the room away, tapping away a Scroll. He was dressed in an Atlas uniform a size to big. They still haven’t found a lab coat that could fit the kid either. The top of Glade’s uniform was tucked into their belt. May recognize the binder, either borrowed from Winter or from the same company. Good even compression and with enough give to let Glade raise a heavy hammer high and to slam it back onto the glowing white hot meterial.
May watched closely as Glade paused. They straighten out, sweat rolling off the hard plans of muscles as they rolled their shoulder. The material didn’t bite uncomfortably into their armpits or shoulders. When Glade took deep breaths, the binder expanded easily. May relaxed a little. Until she saw the thread woven into the binder. It was slow, as if waking up or kindling a fire.
She didn’t notice it at first, the small embers passing Glade’s lips. They concentrated. with each deep breath, the embers grew a little bigger. The Dust infused tongue ring peeked out, gliding over their lips before their jaw clenched tight.
A sharp huff, a small plume of fire.
Another deep breath in and this time they finally got it, a tumbling wave of fire rolling from their lips and onto the metal. Fiona yelps, face flushed as if she was near that intense heat. The sound brings May out of a trance and she remembers to breath. Glade’s ears flicked towards the glass, fire dying into embers again and they push the dark safety glasses up, awkwardly trying to get it past their asthetic horns. They blinked and May’s stomach twist.
The only whites in their eyes was the pupils. Slowly their semblance calms down, the glowing blue shrinking and shrinking until it just colors their iris. What color was their eyes again?
Glade grins, ears wiggling happily as they set the white hot material aside and pulls off those huge tempered gloves. Their hands moves from sign to sign. Winter chuckles at it. Being the only one of the five that actually can hang around them to learn the language.
“They said to get your jaws off the floor.”
May huffs and she hears Fiona’s jaw snap close beside her. Silvio looks at the glass then taps at his Scroll. The door hisses open even when the scanner was glowing an angry red. Then the glass tints black.
Winter sighs in fustration quickly stepping inside, “Watts… we talked about tempering with Military property.”
“I’m not listening to sluts that fuck in the office,” Silvio scoffed rolling his eyes. Glade’s jaw dropped a silent gasp and giggle following as their goat ears flutter in delight- Sluts?!
“What did you just call us?!” May yelled at him. Silvio quickly bolts off the desk, hiding behind Glade’s musuclar frame and sticking his tongue out.
Glade tensed, ears flicking
“If you four want that Argus mission with Glade and Winter, I advice you not to touch me,” Silvio grins. May dropped her tense hands that was just a breath away from slapping him. “Good, can’t afford to ruin Robyn’s reputation.”

Allen Rambles about Code of Brawl

Man... remind me to never talk about having a future Rambling in the works, it’ll instantly fall into draft-hell. But anyway, I’ve been meaning to talk about Arknights in depth for a while now, but I’ve never had much drive to actually finish the damn draft of my initial thoughts a few months ago. I couldn’t tell you why, I just lost the drive to finish the thing. However, with Code of Brawl coming to a close and my thoughts on the event still lingering I think I can use it as jumping off point to actually talk about the game. 
That said, here’s the synopsis.
Arknights is a Tower Defense game for the PC mobile devices placed in the world of Terra, where an infectious disease known as Oripathy ravages the land, slowly turning people to minerals in a slow and painful process. You play as the Doctor, an amnesiac military commander of the Rhodes Island pharmaceutical company who fights against the Infected radicals known as the Reunion. 
That’s about as far as I can go in a single paragraph for main story, but Code of Brawl instead focuses on the eccentric adventures of Pengiun Logistics, side faction of the game that’s a seemingly innocent delivery company with quite the ragtag group in it, consisting of the happy-go-lucky gunner Exusiai, the cold and dismissive swordswoman Texas, the excitable and energetic Sora, and the business-savvy Croissant. All led by the charismatic and multi-talented Emperor. However, as their new intern Bison comes into the fold the group is caught in a series of gang wars and organized crime trying to snuff out the company.
And unlike Fire Emblem Three Houses, that really is the basic plot without me sarcastically building anything up. With that all said, I think I can move on and talk about... 
The Story
The story of Code of Brawl honestly has the best and worst of Arknights writing. I think having a story that focused on a group outside of Rhodes Island was for the better. For all the lore blurbs and archive notes we get, I think Code of Brawl proves just how little Rhodes Island is involved with the world of Terra at large despite it’s apparent reputation as a weird and quirky company with some terrifyingly powerful Operators and lofty ambitions. And while I’m still only on Chapter 4 since I’m grinding out some E2 before moving on, Rhodes Island really does more reacting to random Reunion plans than anything proactive with their goals of curing Oripathy. They feel more like a counter military force to Reunion, and a barely effective on at that given the point of the story I’m at. Code of Brawl, being focused on another group with a more direct conflict and villains, feels a lot more cohesive and interesting, as Penguin Logistics’s goal is to just get Bison through his first day and take out whatever force is harassing them this week. 
Penguin Logistics as a whole is a rather interesting bunch of ruffians and seeing them is gallivant around Lungmen trading blows and bullets with gangsters is a joy to read and see. Seeing some of the inner workings of Lungmen society, seeing a bit of the underbelly, as well as getting to see the cast just have more casual interactions with each other is great. We learn that Sora really is just gay for Texas, and the all of Penguin Logistics has only 3 function braincells with Texas having one and Mostima having the other two.  We get to see that Sora has probably beaten someone to death with her microphone at some point given how willing she is to bar fight. A lot of fun stuff.
And then... there’s Mostima. 
Look, I like this story, I really do, but Mostima really didn’t need to be here as far as the story is concerned. All she does plot-wise is rile up Exusiai, drop some cryptic advice for Bison, shows she knows more powerful than she leads on, and is a bit of a deus ex machina for the end of the plot, and not even by that much. You could had replaced her with Chen, Swire, Hoshigumi, ShiraYuki, or anyone else that would logically be in Lungmen at the time. Hell, ShiraYuki knowing everything a being cryptic about it would at least be in character for her. 
And that’s not to knock Mostima. I actually pulled her in my last ten-pull (didn’t get Waii Fu though, and I’m still salty about that), she’s a pretty good and damn near god-tier once you get her to E2 if some of the guides on her are to be believed, though her kit is a little niche for an AoE caster of her cost. However, as far as the story is concerned she shows a serious issue with Arknights as a whole. That’s its constant need to have half of their characters be mysterious.
Mysterious Characters
So, just to give an example, here is a list of characters in Arknights with a Mysterious Past™. These are characters that either have their archive notes explicitly state their past is unknown, or characters who’s past is implied but but deliberately kept unconfirmed.
With that said...

Okay, I’m cheating a little with Texas since she has enough of her past implied, but it’s still technically a mystery as far as the specifics go. But you see my point, right? A lot of characters have a Mysterious Past™, which is a nice shorthand to not go into depth about writing their background. Now, you don’t need to give twenty paragraphs on their backstory, but something would be nice. Keeping things a mystery might be nice for the theory-crafters, but for me it’s annoy as hell to see so many character, so many high-rated that really just have their skills and design to go off of, especially with most the cast overall having a pretty simple background to them that are interesting when you read through the lore blurbs and think about it. Breeze is a former noble that wanted to do more good in the world than throwing money at a problem. Liskarm is a protective friend that joined Rhodes Island to make sure the problematic Franka integrated without problems. Frostleaf is a child soldier that wants to do some good in the world after becoming Infected. Kroos, Beagle, and Fang joined Rhodes Island after getting kicked out of their old jobs. You don’t need to be flashy, but giving answers isn’t an admission of lacking creativity. The hints might be nice for the analysts, but the fans would likely want some answers.
Again, Mostima isn’t a problem, and a lot characters in that list do have some concrete hints about their past. Texas and Lappland are likely a former mafia heiresses and old rivals. Shining was likely a highly skilled mercenary before realizing she could do more good in the world with a healing staff instead of a sword. Siege is likely apart of Londinium royalty, but was either exiled or ran due to political turmoil. But that’s the issue, likely isn’t confirmed. Mostima being a powerful character with a mysterious past just feels like a cop out to me. It’s not bad, but she’s a symptom of what some of the issues of Arknights story is. I’m not asking for AFK Arena-levels of lore, just... an explanation here or there would be nice. 
But anyway that’s my main issue, moving on.
General Gushing
Despite that large critique I have, there’s a lot I love about this story. For simplicity sake, because I’m tired of all the editing, I’ll put it into list form:
Penguin Logistics in general was just a joy to see. Watching them in action and just how laissez-faire they are is hilarious, especially when paired with the straightforward and reserved Bison freaking out over the wackiness. 
Speaking of, Bison made for a very good straight man to balance out all the wild antics of PL. He really kept things from getting too crazy by at least questioning the zaniness, and the point when he finally stops caring and just charges in with a crazy plan of his own just gave me the giddiest of smiles.
Given how they discuss it, PL apparently trade blows with criminals and thugs on a daily basis, and since they’re just a delivery company this implies they likely deliver drugs or other hot cargo the mafia and gangs want... and given Emperor’s personality, that wouldn’t shock me.
Emperor in general is a delight of a character. He’s about as charismatic and wild as his aesthetic makes him look. I would legit whale for him if he ever become an operator.
Learning a little bit about Lungmen culture was fun as well, as little of it as we see. It’s my personal headcanon now that the mafia and general thugs of Lungmen don’t mess with civilians because they’re either a sleeper agent under the Rat King’s protection or they might be a kung fu master in plain clothes like Waai Fu.
Waai Fu and Texas fist fighting in the streets of Lungmen is just hilarious and awesome. I honestly don’t know what that says about either of them. Texas is holding her own against a martial artist with over 10 years of experience barehanded, meanwhile Waai Fu is holding her own against what lore blurbs have implied is the former heiress/hitman of a mafia. All the while drunkards and Texas’s coworkers are egging them on. This is the dumb content I live for.
Save for some of the absolute bullshit of the challenge maps, I found the actual game content to be pretty fair and interesting. The Bullies required good defender placement, a lot of the ranged units focused on targeting the helpful buildings that buffed your characters and increased the operator deployment count, and maps themselves had a few clever chokepoints to work with... At least until they started spamming Fanatics.
Bison actually has a pretty solid kit for a free Operator. He buffs a lot of adjacent units, has a no real weakness, his tools don’t feel niche like Grani or Celycon, overall a great unit. Once I finish E2-ing all my main Operators I might build him next. 
While I have issues with her as a story element, Mostima is a 6-star that has instant utility once you promote her to E2, much like Chen and Siege. This is something I’m relieved to say as a lot of my 6-stars aren’t worth much until you E2 them and I’m still trying to E2 some of my easier units like Cuora and Gavial for Chapter 5 and CC.
That’s really all I have to say on that front. So to close things off...
For the Future
Like I always say in these Ramblings, I don’t like the idea of people prattling on about being able to “fix” or “rewrite” something has already been made. It always comes across as both arrogant and ignorant to me. However, I think it’s completely fair to make requests and suggestions for the future. ‘
That said, I'd like to continue seeing side stories without Rhodes Island’s involvement. Both to see other factions in their natural element and because, frankly, Rhodes Island always feels a little out of place when involved in other stories, or at least more of a distraction than a good element if chapter 2 and 3 are anything to go by. I think a Black Steel side story would be nice. Jessica, Franka, Liskarm, and Vanille getting into shenanigans in Columbia or something sounds like a fun time. Maybe have the leader/high commander of the organization as a new operator and they’re a really powerful Supporter than can buff the party, like a 6-star version of Sora or something that gives operators insane ASPD buffs... I don’t know, something like that anyway. Ideally something a little less wordy than Code of Brawl at least.
Anyway, that’s all I have to say. Next time... I’ll talk about something else. Maybe discuss a manga or something.

Let’s look at the facts - you put out Watch Dogs and you lied about a whole bunch of shit in the marketing. Then the game comes out and it’s absolutely savaged by the press and public alike because the reality of the game is far from the false hype you built around it. But the interesting thing is that it’s not a bad game, not by a long stretch. It’s a fun third-person shooter with a massive open world and a deep attention to detail, entertaining mechanics (even if it does have a bit of your mindless collecting bullshit scattered around), and some top-notch production values. But you couldn’t have the public believe you were simply releasing a release a ‘good’ game, could you? No, you had to make them believe that you were releasing the BEST game, all the while knowing that the final product wouldn’t meet the promises you’d made.

Why did you do that, Ubisoft? Had your CEO made certain commitments to the shareholders about pre-orders and day one sales figures? I genuinely can’t fathom why you would make such terrible, terrible marketing decisions when you had to know that there was going to be blowback - you had to know because you had been there before, hadn’t. Which brings me to the pertinent point: if your methods failed you multiple times before, why did you do it AGAIN?
Because here is The Division - a fun third-person shooter with a massive open world and a deep attention to detail, entertaining mechanics (even if it does have a bit of your mindless collecting bullshit scattered around), and some top-notch production values, and once again you lied about it in the marketing. And once again, when it was released, the game became a pariah - not because it wasn’t a good product, but because you fucked it over before it was even released. It didn’t stand a chance really, not with your ridiculous schemes to deceive the public with an almost sociopathic level of denial and self-delusion. What is it that the villain in one of your own games said about the definition of insanity?

The Division came out TWO YEARS after Watch Dogs. And you learned nothing. People should have been fired over this. Many high-ranking people should have been fired. 
God damn you, Ubisoft. 
The Division is a third-person sort-of-MMO set in a dystopic near-future New York City. You play a nameless and voiceless agent of The Division - a top secret unit of sleeper agents brought in when the shit well and truly hits the fan. And it has, because NYC has been decimated by a deadly man-made virus transmitted via banknotes on Black Friday. The city itself has been left near deserted but for the scant few civilians who were trapped inside the quarantine, members of the Joint Task Force, and roving bands of gangs and private military soldiers that rob and kill on-sight. Your mission is to do what the normies can’t, venturing into dangerous enemy lairs to procure people, intelligence, or simply the corpses of notorious trouble-makers. 
The city is mapped, as far as I can tell, to a nearly 1:1 scale. The level of detail and effort put into the design is unprecedented; I can honestly say that I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. From the buildings that are meticulously designed inside and out, to the changing weather effects that completely alter the atmosphere of the city, to the destruction, decay, and seasonal decorations littering every single street and alley, it’s almost inconceivable the years of work that must have gone into the production of this.

The enemy leveling is handled intelligently and in such a way that a challenge always remains present, and wandering into a pack of gun-toting psychopaths can and will get you killed most of the time. It keeps you on your toes, and keeps the threat of the city real. The loot system is excellent too, and you’ll find that loot drops just rarely enough for it to feel like a real reward, yet frequently enough for you to always have something to sell or disassemble. 
And while MMOs can often be troublingly unbalanced, rewarding griefers, or forcing you into playing with people who rush the objectives and leave you behind, The Division’s multiplayer elements are not so. For the most part the game is perfectly enjoyable as a single-player-only experience as the difficulty of the main missions can be adjusted to suit those that just want to get through them as well as those that want a real challenge, whilst the base difficulty of the general encounters around the city is just high enough to keep a lone player engaged and excited. You can join other human players at any point, if you so choose, and if you do the game encourages co-operation and teamwork for the most part by carefully and astutely balancing the damage taken and dealt by enemies, making for a challenging and fun multiplayer experience, and punishing players that try to rush ahead by hammering them into the ground. 
The only time in which PvP is forced upon the player is the Dark Zone: a no-man’s-land located in the centre of Manhattan, and cordoned off from the rest of the island by towering walls. The Dark Zone is an anything-goes environment filled with the best loot in the game, difficult computer-controlled NPCs, and (on weekends) human players looking to score some sweet treasure. You can be attacked by humans only if you’re carrying loot yourself, and can traverse the area safely (at least safe from human players) by simply walking around empty handed. However, if you do collect some gear, you can only take it out of the Dark Zone by initiating a timed helicopter extraction at a few select areas of the map. During the two and a half minutes the extraction takes you will often be assaulted by computer controlled enemies, although players in your sector can also see that the extraction is taking place and can either come along and send their gear up as well, or, more commonly, try to kill you and jack your stuff.

It is this latter behaviour that has garnered the Dark Zone an infamous reputation - one reviewer called it a ‘failed experiment’. But after enough time playing in the area, you begin to understand the psychology that may drive a lot of this behaviour. The smartest players will always travel in the Dark Zone in groups of two or more as it always pays to have backup on hand, but this doesn’t stop the odd stray player from trying to kill and rob you both. The freedom of the area allows all kinds of behaviour, and those feeling cocky or perhaps even just wanting to experiment with the game’s mechanics can often try to take you down just to see if they can get away with it. And once that’s happened to you a few times, you will begin to learn that in some situations it’s better just to shoot first and ask questions later rather than tolerate a bunch of interlopers that will likely end up shooting you in the back when they have the chance.

Mutually Assured Dickishness doesn’t exactly give the game a pass from all accusations of toxicity, but the roguish nature of the Dark Zone fits perfectly with its narrative context and allows for some incredibly tense and memorable gameplay moments, like the time that a player dozens of levels higher than the area catered to ran rampant, killing everyone on sight and taking what could only be worthless loot for himself. My teammate and I were hunted through the streets as we tried to flee this terrorist, hiding behind cars and in alcoves just praying that he would pass us unknowingly. Or the time that I came across two players who let me attach my gear to their extraction, seemingly uncertain if I had any friends, before attempting to take it when they realised I was alone. I waited around a corner and watched them warily, and once they did try to swipe my stuff I gunned one down before I was killed myself, but not before my gear had been extracted. I came across the same two players at a later time as they rounded a corner to find me standing there with my weapon raised. Knowing that I had outmatched one of them earlier we stood there in a tense stand off before I managed to flee unharmed. Yes, it is more lucrative to venture into the Dark Zone when others aren’t around, but there’s a certain tension that comes with never knowing when you might come across another player, and never knowing if they’re going to be friendly or not, that lends a wonderful sense of threat and challenge to the situation, and makes escaping with loot all the more rewarding.
While the DLC isn’t anything to write home about, the handling of the end-game content is enough to keep me going for at least another dozen more. Beyond the maximum player level the difficulty balances out to a more manageable degree, and the pursuit of the highest ‘gear score’, i.e. a score that denotes the level of quality gear you have equipped, becomes a customisation goal. This gear score is visible to other players, and becomes a good way of judging a threat in the Dark Zone; my gear score is likely the reason I escaped a confrontation unscathed on more than one occasion. The idea that you can intimidate Dark Zone players into not attacking is great, especially when that experience is balanced against memories of being walked over by jerks. And as the Dark Zone inevitably becomes one of the last unexplored areas of the game, the desire to level this gear score up becomes a deeply motivating thing. But even if you don’t wish to indulge that area of the Divison, there are still dozens of hours to devote elsewhere. I mean, I’m 40 hours into a game that I bought for ten pounds and I don’t want to stop, and I think that’s a damn good bargain. The player count isn’t as high as I would sometimes like it to be, especially when I’m trying to get through story missions on a really high difficulty and no-one is responding to my matchmaking calls, but it’s still alive enough to satisfy most social desires. 
Which is why it’s such a shame that Ubisoft do their utter damnedest to shoot themselves in the foot when it comes to marketing their games. The company and its leadership have lost themselves inside a world of meaningless expectations and promises, and long ago lost sight of what really matters to consumers. The bar isn’t set as high as they think it is, and endevouring to make the world think that they’re a bunch of shithead liars is counterproductive, especially when The Division is a standout in a number of ways. In fact, most of their games far exceed the expectations I have of them after the community savages them post-release. Ubisoft can make good games. I just wished they could come back down to earth and trust that we’ll see that.

An Overwashed Laundry List
Let’s get to it already! Enough waiting around.
I’d like to kick things off by stating my favorite commonality between Splatoon and Overwatch: I uniformly love each update that’s been made to these games. Even if I nitpick a tidbit, these games have grown stronger every single time a new update is downloaded and installed, and that delights me endlessly.
When OW launched last May, it had—just in the big sweep of things—two fewer heroes, two fewer maps, no competitive mode at all, and the idea of a “seasonal event” had never crossed our brains as players. Here’s to them keeping up this great momentum!
Arranged from simplest to most complex (at least from my perspective/guessing), here are some changes I’d like to see come to OW during Season 4:
1) While the “Stay as a Team” function is possibly the best smallest update to OW ever (changed so much about how I played the game!), it introduced some troubles where players in voice chat became even more hopelessly fragmented between group chat and team chat. To rectify this, and to attempt to get everyone into team chat, Blizzard added a “Join Team Chat” button in the Hero Selection screen. Visually speaking, however, this option is far more difficult to notice than the neon green “Stay as a Team” during the end results; I would like it to be made much more noticeable. I would also like some way for console players to be able to actively encourage their teammates to join. On PC, players can choose to type a message saying, “hey get in team chat,” or whatnot; maybe a custom button or scroll-wheel text command could be added that we could spam in order to request the same? (Maybe this could even help convince Xbox players to leave their party chat and join the game’s built-in chat?)
2) Much of my frustration with competitive stems from feeling like, just on their face, matchups are not nearly as fair as the displayed Team SR (skill rating) averages would imply. Those averages are the game’s way of saying who it thinks will win, and that bet determines partially how much your rank rises or falls afterward. It does not feel accurate to me to say that my team of all Platinum players is evenly matched against a team with two Golds, two Plats, and two Diamonds—especially when the Gold players are put by their teammates onto high skill-floor heroes like Lúcio that can’t be screwed up too badly, while the Diamond players pick Tracer and Reaper and double-handedly demolish my team while carrying theirs.
What do I want to be done about this? I’m not sure. At the least, I’d like more clarity on how the matchmaking and ranking systems compute this stuff. (Also, some more clarity about why it feels like win/loss streaks have waaaay more impact on rank gained or lost than anything else. If my team was a huge underdog and won despite that, I should always be getting a lot of rank points—I don’t care if I’m coming off a four-game losing streak. Having my rank only bump up by 15 points afterward FeelsBadMan! And yes, this means the opposite is true as well. An upset of a loss should be punished even if on a win streak.) If I had to proffer a suggestion, I’d say this: weigh the rankings before averaging. The further away above a player is from the 50th percentile of the game (which is the 2500 ranking, ostensibly)—or maybe the further up they are from the median of all 12 players in the match?—the more their ranking should impact the computed average of their team. I.e., some sort of system that would reflect the ability of higher-skilled players to carry teams of lower-skilled players.
3) There’s complexity in this one, but we already know Blizzard is on it: FIX 2CP MAPS! Hanamura especially. And don’t wait till after Season 4 to do it! How should it be done? I’m not sure, exactly. On Hanamura, I’d throw up some more walls around the back of Point B to make it slightly harder to reach when emerging from spawn. On all of them, I’d increase respawn timers for Defense on Point B. And yeah, maybe find some way to measure incremental progress in capturing the points. The “3-Tick” system wouldn’t be ideal for this, but it’s absolutely true that if one attacking team was on Point B long enough to achieve a 2/3 capture, they were more skilled than the team that achieved zero of the ticks.
4) Leavers still fuck up competitive! It’s not as huge an issue as it was in earlier seasons, but it’s also far from perfect. If someone leaves during a match where at least 75% of players are in placements, just cancel that match! And double the punishment of the leaver—plus fuck up their rank, or something. Outside placements, I have two ideas:
A) Add in a player queuing for a ranked match, if they said they’re okay joining a comp match already in progress. Unlike in Quick Play, though, the developers couldn’t just say, “it’s a win for you if you win when joining late, but we won’t count the loss if you lose!” because that would fuck up the ranking system. However, surely they could find some way to incentivize joining regardless? A big XP bonus? Loot boxes? Of course, it could be that the latecomer would troll or not try since their rank isn’t on the line, but considering the alternative was a nearly always doomed 5-v-6, I wouldn’t complain.
B) Just a damn bot! I’m not the first to suggest this. Throw me a freaking Lúcio bot programmed to head to the largest group of his teammates he can find and heal them while amping it up whenever someone hits critical health. Boom. Done. You’ve increased my chances of winning the 5 (humans)-v-6 already, even if just by a bit.
5) This one is also coming, but I want it ASAP: a replay system! If Mario Kart 8 could pull off Mario Kart TV, surely you can follow suit, Blizzard. I want to be able to save the whole match and view it later from multiple perspectives, as in Spectator Mode. It would be soooo helpful to be able to analyze my plays. And yes, I’m aware that replays don’t always catch things the way they actually transpired live, and thus could be used by players to bemoan ‘cheap’ deaths they experienced or shots they think shouldn’t have missed... but so what. Fuck the haters!
I think the above list would be an amazing start to things, and leave me even more helplessly in love with this game than I already am. Lastly, in terms of new content, lemme just make my personal beliefs known, in order of what excites me from most to least: balance updates, then events, then new heroes, then new maps. Is that a strange ranking?! I dunno. I think that big balance updates are just soooo neat, and want them to keep coming. Symmetra 2.0 in December was as exciting to me as Sombra in November. I would love to see Mercy receive a new ability, for instance! (She’s the only hero lacking a secondary ability, pretty much. An “E,” they’d say on PC.) The events have been so amazing and so unexpected—I still remember my surprise at the Summer Games in August being unveiled—I can’t wait for them to continue. New heroes are awesome, but they can only really release probably 2–3 per year.
I started things off with a similarity between Splatoon and Overwatch, so here’s a difference for the end: maps. A new map in Splatoon was always a cause for joy, because it worked across four game modes: Turf Wars, Splat Zones, Tower Control, and Rainmaker. A new map in OW, though, is just one more addition to payload, KotH, etc. Not terribly exciting, in my mind. I would love to see a truly new game mode come with the next map! If Capture the Flag was broken on Lijiang Tower, maybe a map built from the ground up for the mode could work? Or they could dream up some totally new mode, I dunno. I’m thirsssty.

The synchronization between the server and clients needs to be improved. There are also reports about weather not being synchronized. Even the heavily armors APC tank can't survive some machine gun fire. discussion.4. Keep crouched positionwhen crouched, and grabbing an enemy. Vehicles are too slowBikes and most cars are too slow.I can't play because some times target escapes and cars too slow I can't take them. it feels like the vehicles are stuck in first gear.8. Steal helicopter missionIn the steal the helicopter missions there needs to be some delay between the enemy entering the cockpit and him taking off for at least two reasons. One, if the enemy reaches the cockpit it's basically an automatic mission failure, there's no chance to try to salvage it. Two, aircraft have lengthy startup procedures, and seeing him jump in and be 100 feet in the air and gone in seconds is silly. Perhaps a 10-ish second delay while the engine/rotor spools up would be good.9. Potato ballisticsWhat about the potato ballistics? The muzzle velocity is really low and the bullet drop insanely high. This sometimes makes sniping a real nightmare.10. Weapon camo/skin does not matchthe shade in Gunsmith is accurate compared to the loadout/skills screen and actually in-game.11. Allow animation cancelIt is frustrating how when I am under fire and my vehicle is about explode, I go through this long animation of opening the door, hopping out, turning around, and closing the door behind me. It locks my camera angle until the long animation is complete. I find myself thinking to my character "JUST MOVE DAMN IT" I should be hopping out with my gun in hand ready to move or fire. Instead, it feels clunky and incredibly non-fluid. Another example is when tagging resources or snapping photos of intel. If someone is shooting at me I should be able to cancel what I am doing and shoot back. Even tagging a supply truck, I tag and the camera and my actions are locked/disabled until I finish tagging and then finish standing up. The moment the tracker is on there i should be able to book it. The era of locked in animations was years ago--needs to be updated.12. Retired Army vet and gunsmith feedbackI feel like the mechanics of ballistics and weapon attachments aren't quite thought out. Specific issues include damage not matched to real-world caliber, weapon operation not representing real-world efficiency (everything seems to reload about the same speed) and confusion about what the listed stats represent (is recoil under handling or accuracy? Shouldn't recoil go down as weight goes up?) Modern suppressors also should not affect bullet velocity meaningfully.13. AI line of sight issueAI teammates do not actually need LOS to make sync shots or even spot enemies. AI teammates seem to be able to walk right by enemies without being detected.14. Vehicle drop-offVehicle drop will drop will sometimes drop the vehicle on your character killing you, but most of the time it will drop it on the sides on mountains or in between trees and in the case of helicopters they will get destroyed or be able take off. Perhaps vehicles need to spawn closer or on flat ground.15. Alarm towers and generators should not be destroyable with firearmsit makes them pointless, since most players will always just shoot out them from a distance. There needs to be a choice of risk/reward. Do you take a chance and leave them and take out the enemies from a distance risking an alarm or do you risk going into the base disable them beforehand.16. Rejoin timer is way too shortIf I crash and reload the game it gives me an option to rejoin but by the time I notice it, it has already expired.SUGGESTIONS1. The AI teammates customizationwe should be able to customize the AI teammates.2. Let us choose to be revived or not ("bleed out" button)there should be a respawn button when you die in a single player. We should have a choice whether to be revived by an AI teammate in singleplayer or not. discussion :: discussion3. I'm really just guessing where the miniguns will shoot than I am actually aiming.19. After a skirmish with enemies that you started silently but then went loud (on purpose) you'll get a squadmate say "that was fucking messy" - screw you I don't want to know what you think! Or pointing a gun at a civilian and you'll get "maybe we should lower our weapons" - I'm the squad leader, don't tell me what to do!20. Add a home basesomewhere to store the cars, copters ansld guns I find that arent in my loadout. It would ve cool if it had a skill system to upgrade your base and enemies could attack it or trigger events when you're playing.21. Add rappelling and more breaching options (fast-rope)more doors to kick down or blow up and rappelling for getting up or down buildings or cliffs to high to climb up or fall down but too low to BASE jump from. discussion22. Rethink the command group wheel for consoleI think they should rethink the command group wheel for console. This might be great in PC, but in console this is quite the drag. Plus, why do I have to stop to make these marching orders? I feel like the character should be allowed to move while it is making these commands to the group. Allowing me to move while making these commands would make the game play feel much more fluid, then feeling like I am stopping to get a bite of my burrito.23. Assign different dialogues to other playersFor players 2-4 to be assigned dialogue from Midas, Holt, and Weaver. So when you're playing in Multiplayer, you don't have 4 Nomads going "Deploying Drone", "Drones up", "I got the Bike!", "I'll fly", etc.24. Add a wing suitAdd a wing suit! How cool would that be to glide around the mountains and stuff like that, it would be so fun!25. The Ghosts always perform a full reload even if theres a round left in the chamberfix this and add a tactical reload so that the ghosts just swap the mags if there are bullets left. R6S is a good example for this. I'm used to reload before the mag is fully empty because it saves time in combat. And i'm positive that special forces would do it the same way. Also the Ghosts should use their support hand to pull the charging handle.26. Landing gearlet me raise and lower landing gear on aircraft that have landing gear that can be raised and lowered.27. Add mission checkpoints28. However, once equipping, the ACOG sight unit is appearing in 3rd person view on the frontal top rail, towards the gas block. This does not match with the gunsmith view (the gunsmith view is correct); and where it is mounted in 3rd person ingame, is a hinged cover to allow access to the weapon's gas parts. This is wrong. In the most basic of field cleaning, this rail cover would be opened a lot. We would never mount a sight there, as we'd be there all day zeroing the damn thing again. You can put a suppressor on and it sounds suppressed on your side but the enemies and other players in your game will hear it as un-suppressed so it will alert enemies10. Convoy bug/misdesignwhen doing a Story Mission or anything else, once a Convoy passes by you and gets triggered, it fails once the Convoy gets away and interrupts your current mission, forcing a reload, resetting your progress. This mostly happens when getting El Polito's car and the Convoy Story Mission hasn't been done yet. It's pretty random, but every Convoy in the game interrupts what you do, some routes are very close to other missions, thus it can get very frustrating.11. Xbox One - Lost ability to take cover / auto-cover system not working.this bug is massively infuriating. Not sure if it's tied to when you get downed or have to respawn, most times it's happened has been after I've done this. It seems to only happen to me in multiplayer only. It feels like it only happens after exiting a vehicle though, I haven't noticed it after getting revived.12. Clothing BugMulticam shading is not consistent across outfit components - the crye precision shirt is properly shaded but the pants, packs, and helmets/hats are all brighter/unshaded. Also some camouflages are not placed or sized correctly (for example 3-color DCU), and also when you use camouflage on shirt, it is always darker than the same camouflage used on your pants, creating big contrast and unrealistic effect.13. Resource taggingIf you die while tagging a resource then upon your potential revival, you and your teammates can tag that resource again.14. Player/vehicle/swimming animation issueplayers may see another player running alongside or atop a vehicle when they're actually sitting inside the vehicle. The player affected will not see this effect. It seems to occur when someone has previously died in a vehicle. Similar to the vehicle bug, the swimming animation may bug so that other players see another player as constantly swimming (with water trails from each stroke and everything). Map glitchFallen through the map multiple times. Walking around on rocky hillsides is extremely glitchy. Just replace the model with a drum and it should be fine (I also think that the magazine that's portrayed ingame is a 20 round magazine and not 30)38. Xbox - XP BugI can gain XP, or at least it shows that I am getting it but my blue bar is maxed out at level 6 and will not let me progress to any higher levels. Is anyone else having this issue? I didn't have my XP progress bar for the HUD turned out originally so I didn't even notice this but I have already played about 18 hours worth and have around 25 skill points unused and really do not want to start over.39. Drone/Binoculars bugSometimes after parachuting or bailing from a destroyed helicopter, I cannot use drone or binocs for an extended amount of time.40. The hybrid scope bugif I switch weapons and switch back, the hybrid scope would be flicked into position while zoomed out at the same time (as if the scope wasn't flicked into position) . Pressing the hybrid scope button makes the character flick an invisible scope back up to zoom it back in. I don't know if that makes sense, it's like the game forgets to keep the scope on the side if I keep it in red dot view.41. Female shaggy hair + goggles = ADS bugplaying as a female with shaggy hair and goggles sometimes cause your hair to cover you scope when ADS.42. PC- Unable to complete side missions / gather intel etc.when locating intel or interrogations that are not part of main quest line, player animates like he is photographing / talking to target item/person but stays frozen in that state until right mouse button is clicked. Intel is not obtained or gathered. This may be related to the UI as I have most HUD elements off.43. AKA: I can't do any main missions in Pucara because I haven't been introduced to the buchon yet and I haven't been able to get the conversation to trigger.77. Flare bugthe flare of the signal pistol seems only to be shown to the one shooting it, not to the teammates.78. Explosives delayAll explosives in the game seem to suffer from some sort of major lag issues at times. I've had C4 and grenades just sit there for a while well after they should have exploded. The most frustrating thing is the underbarrel grenade launcher is near useless against moving vehicles because the hit doesn't register half the time and several seconds there is just an explosion where the vehicle used to be.79. Guns not loading into gameFairly often when joining a co-op game your character will be holding nothing but have his/her hands in a position as if they are holding an invisible gun. It may take several minutes before they finally do pop in. This also seems to come with huge desync with enemy location and sometimes making you immune to all damage while everything is still slowly loading in. My wife joined me once and we tried defending a rebel radio and she had no gun, could take no damage, and she could not see the enemies in the same spot as me at all. But she could heal me if I fell.... So that was nice I guess.80. Headset bugWhen I equip "Headset D" (As I have purchased the Doorkickers pack from the Store), it automatically unequips it and reverts my character back to wearing "Earpiece". I select Headset D, go back to the Accessories menu, and it's like I never selected it. Every other item I've purchased works but that one. This only happens when equipping facewear with the Patrol cap and any headset. Any goggles/masks + Patrol cap + headset = Headset automatically unequipped, despite the preview showing just fine.81. The scopes on the SVD are not aligned properlythe bullets are offset to the right where the scopes are pointed on most scopes and at least one is to the left of the crosshair.82. PC - The motorbike controls cannot be changed for left and rightI do not use WASD, so I'm using RDFG, and despite being able to map buttons on every other vehicle to RDFG, the motorbike will remain mapped to RADF - not easy to drive that way I'm afraid!83. Windows 10 - Mic BugIf you mute the microphone in-game it will mute it permanent on Windows 10.84. Boats get halfway submerged when driving around in them85. PS4 - M4A1 BugI wanted to look at the damage meter changes between silencer on and off on my M4A1. I push the touch pad to go to menu, go to Loadout tab to see the meter with silencer on. Now back to my actual game screen, I press L2 to aim, press up arrow to take silencer off. Press touch pad, go to Loadout tab, read the meter. Then when I exit out back to Bolivia, my character just reloads out of nowhere as if I have an empty mag. So I repeat. Silencer back on, go to Loadout, then back out. It reloads again. If I do this 5 times straight, I will run out of ammo.86. C4 and possibly other throwables bugYou can throw C4 and possibly other throwables through thin objects by orienting your character so that the arm goes through the object when it releases the throwable.87. Helicopter & Airplane handlinghelicopter handling is still problematic and frustrating. discussion :: discussion :: discussion2. Multiplayer/Coop in-game synchronizationwhile playing in coop, we have noticed multiple times that some of the objects/enemies/etc. are not in the same place for everyone in the group. The synchronization between the server and clients needs to be improved. There are also reports about weather not being synchronized. The character conversations in Coop is not synchronized as well.3. Vehicles aren't durable enoughthey get blown up way too easily. Even the heavily armors APC tank can't survive some machine gun fire. discussion.4. Keep crouched positionwhen crouched, and grabbing an enemy. Please make the character go back to crouched position after knocking out the enemy. Not just stand straight up.5. Disappearing bodiesdead bodies should only disappear when the player is too far away and no longer in area of operations. discussion6. Defeated bases / SAM sites must go into rebel/ghost control and should not respawnabsolutely hate that defeating a base means nothing. I spend at least a half an hour taking over a base to get rid of it's SAMs and drone jammers and guess what? It doesn't even matter! I leave, come back, and not only is base control reverted, but annoying ass SAMs and jammers are back up! Why do I even bother? I don't even try to attack bases anymore, I just avoid them entirely unless there's something from them that I need like intel or a skill point. Nothing ruins a game like the feeling that not only is all of your effort for naught, but all of the little annoyances will come back even if you defeat them. Of all of the features that might bother me, this is the worst. discussion :: discussion7. Vehicles are too slowBikes and most cars are too slow.I can't play because some times target escapes and cars too slow I can't take them. it feels like the vehicles are stuck in first gear.8. Steal helicopter missionIn the steal the helicopter missions there needs to be some delay between the enemy entering the cockpit and him taking off for at least two reasons. One, if the enemy reaches the cockpit it's basically an automatic mission failure, there's no chance to try to salvage it. Two, aircraft have lengthy startup procedures, and seeing him jump in and be 100 feet in the air and gone in seconds is silly. Perhaps a 10-ish second delay while the engine/rotor spools up would be good.9. Potato ballisticsWhat about the potato ballistics? The muzzle velocity is really low and the bullet drop insanely high. This sometimes makes sniping a real nightmare.10. Weapon camo/skin does not matchthe shade in Gunsmith is accurate compared to the loadout/skills screen and actually in-game.11. Allow animation cancelIt is frustrating how when I am under fire and my vehicle is about explode, I go through this long animation of opening the door, hopping out, turning around, and closing the door behind me. It locks my camera angle until the long animation is complete. I find myself thinking to my character "JUST MOVE DAMN IT" I should be hopping out with my gun in hand ready to move or fire. Instead, it feels clunky and incredibly non-fluid. Another example is when tagging resources or snapping photos of intel. If someone is shooting at me I should be able to cancel what I am doing and shoot back. Even tagging a supply truck, I tag and the camera and my actions are locked/disabled until I finish tagging and then finish standing up. The moment the tracker is on there i should be able to book it. The era of locked in animations was years ago--needs to be updated.12. Retired Army vet and gunsmith feedbackI feel like the mechanics of ballistics and weapon attachments aren't quite thought out. Specific issues include damage not matched to real-world caliber, weapon operation not representing real-world efficiency (everything seems to reload about the same speed) and confusion about what the listed stats represent (is recoil under handling or accuracy? Shouldn't recoil go down as weight goes up?) Modern suppressors also should not affect bullet velocity meaningfully.13. AI line of sight issueAI teammates do not actually need LOS to make sync shots or even spot enemies. AI teammates seem to be able to walk right by enemies without being detected.14. Vehicle drop-offVehicle drop will drop will sometimes drop the vehicle on your character killing you, but most of the time it will drop it on the sides on mountains or in between trees and in the case of helicopters they will get destroyed or be able take off. Perhaps vehicles need to spawn closer or on flat ground.15. Alarm towers and generators should not be destroyable with firearmsit makes them pointless, since most players will always just shoot out them from a distance. There needs to be a choice of risk/reward. Do you take a chance and leave them and take out the enemies from a distance risking an alarm or do you risk going into the base disable them beforehand.16. Rejoin timer is way too shortIf I crash and reload the game it gives me an option to rejoin but by the time I notice it, it has already expired.SUGGESTIONS1. The AI teammates customizationwe should be able to customize the AI teammates.2. Let us choose to be revived or not ("bleed out" button)there should be a respawn button when you die in a single player. We should have a choice whether to be revived by an AI teammate in singleplayer or not. discussion :: discussion3. Allow us to drag the bodiesit would be nice to be able to drag the bodies away (related to disappearing bodies as well) discussion4. Night vision goggleswhen using night vision, the night vision goggles are not actually visible on players head (it is basically just a screen filter). Please consider adding Night Vision Goggles (NVGS) to helmets / stand alone.5. Add a scope larger than 6xthe map is huge and the highest magnification is only 6x, at least make it 12-14x.6. Add compasswe want to play without any HUD at all, and to do this we need more navigation tools than just the map. Because of this, we would very much appreciate having a compass.7. Add car hornsvehicles have horns people who drive them need horns. Kindly give us horns in vehicles.8. Pulling the trigger behind cover without aiming should blind fireI hate when the game takes me out of cover when all I wanna do is spray some bullets at the enemy from safety. If I aim from behind cover then it should expose me for precise targeting.18. Add bipods and reticles for helicopters with forward firing weaponsBipods and reticles for any helicopter that has forward firing weapons. I'm really just guessing where the miniguns will shoot than I am actually aiming.19. Add in an option to turn off AI squadmate's chatter completelywhen using the drone and marking targets I've had several people speak over each other as a target is seen. After a skirmish with enemies that you started silently but then went loud (on purpose) you'll get a squadmate say "that was fucking messy" - screw you I don't want to know what you think! Or pointing a gun at a civilian and you'll get "maybe we should lower our weapons" - I'm the squad leader, don't tell me what to do!20. Add a home basesomewhere to store the cars, copters ansld guns I find that arent in my loadout. It would ve cool if it had a skill system to upgrade your base and enemies could attack it or trigger events when you're playing.21. Add rappelling and more breaching options (fast-rope)more doors to kick down or blow up and rappelling for getting up or down buildings or cliffs to high to climb up or fall down but too low to BASE jump from. discussion22. Rethink the command group wheel for consoleI think they should rethink the command group wheel for console. This might be great in PC, but in console this is quite the drag. Plus, why do I have to stop to make these marching orders? I feel like the character should be allowed to move while it is making these commands to the group. Allowing me to move while making these commands would make the game play feel much more fluid, then feeling like I am stopping to get a bite of my burrito.23. Assign different dialogues to other playersFor players 2-4 to be assigned dialogue from Midas, Holt, and Weaver. So when you're playing in Multiplayer, you don't have 4 Nomads going "Deploying Drone", "Drones up", "I got the Bike!", "I'll fly", etc.24. Add a wing suitAdd a wing suit! How cool would that be to glide around the mountains and stuff like that, it would be so fun!25. The Ghosts always perform a full reload even if theres a round left in the chamberfix this and add a tactical reload so that the ghosts just swap the mags if there are bullets left. R6S is a good example for this. I'm used to reload before the mag is fully empty because it saves time in combat. And i'm positive that special forces would do it the same way. Also the Ghosts should use their support hand to pull the charging handle.26. Landing gearlet me raise and lower landing gear on aircraft that have landing gear that can be raised and lowered.27. Add mission checkpoints28. The option to get rid of all or some AI and to disable rebels appearingI am stealthy infiltrating a compound when out of nowhere the rebels start shooting the cartel and or unidad getting me detected when I'm hundreds of meters away sniping. Detection is also a butch of bs. When I'm playing with friends, I get detected too when I'm hundreds of meters away.29. Allow us to select type of vehicle on the vehicle drop in skill30. T3 Vehicle drop helicopter is an unarmoredT3 Vehicle drop helicopter is an unarmored, unarmed scout, while T2 is an armored suv with a minigun, which doesnt makes any sense at all. You cant switch back to the suv either. T3 should be the armored APC instead, not a helicopter that you can shoot down with your assault rifle.31. Allow us to lock shoulder view (left/right)there should be an option to lock shoulder view, so that we can have character on either left or right side permanently, without the need to switch.32. Add the ability to give squad commands while moving33. Add wire cutters to get through fences34. Add a Forward roll animation (Division) and a Sprint to Slide Animation35. Add the ability to Roll Left & Right while Prone. Like in previous GRAW Games36. The GPS line on your mini-map is ridiculously hard to seeI've tried changing settings on the tv but it doesn't really make it better. It's a light blue line again a light grey background, it's really hard to see. Especially in towns where enemy glow covers the mini map. A bright green or yellow gps line would be so much easier to see when you're driving and you only have a quick second to glance at the mini map.37. Spawn whatever vehicle we wantThe ability to spawn whatever vehicle you want after unlocking all the rebel things. This should include APCs, the Humvee/jeep thing that's in the teaser, the armored humvee, Motorcyle, unarmed scout heil, armed scout heli, transport heli (armed), planes.38. Add a stealth and Loud command for AI teammatesThe amount of times the mission requires me to be stealthy and they end up shooting someone or being detected is a joke.39. Wildlife would be coolI don't need a full blown Far Cry experience, but wildlife would be cool. Particularly dangerous wildlife. At certain points in the game you actually hear cartel members talking about how scared they are of jaguars. Would be awesome if they were actually in the game. At least in the jungle biomes.40. Let us remap the Map key41. If ARs get a special ability (Underbarrel GL), then SMGs, LMGs, and Snipers should get something tooI have no idea what SMGs should get, but LMGs should get bipods or inverse recoil (more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger), Snipers could have a main sniper scope and a 45 degree mounted reflex sight, and Shotguns could get limited amounts of alternate shotgun rounds (flechette, slugs, Dragon's Breath etc.) of varying quantities.42. The Home Pad on the right side of the keyboard needs to be unlockedcurrently unable to bind keys to and of those 6 keys.43. All stationary weapons are the exact same minigun, add more variety44. Add smoke grenadesCan't have a tactical game without smoke grenades. (Hand thrown and 40mm) plus, they would help with covering you while you revive a teammate or need to fall back.45. Add Chemlightsthis is a personal preference for a realistic approach, especially for people who use no HUD. Being able to drop a chemlight in a room after you've cleared it so you know that building is good or to mark a route for exfil. Colors should be the normal red, blue, green..ext. and an infrared one for night vision. Chemlight can also be used for a distraction.46. Depending on the vest or armor you have on; it will limit your range of motionFor exmple, have larger vest be able to take more damage but move slower. Have light vest or no vest be able to move quicker but take more damage.47. Make different color ghille suits for different terrain48. Let us see everything we picked up on the TacMap and mini map, but greyed out49. AI teammates should be able to use the gunship's undernose gunas it stands, the gunship is useless in solo because the AI can't do anything and the rocket pods can't hit anything due to the controls and lack of reticule.50. Have the range finder actually display range while looking through a scopeIt would really help with realism and no HUD player.51. Let us put filters on the map. The clutter is very real.52. Diversion Lure needs different icon colourDiversion Lure needs different icon colour and maybe different icon too. It causes team panic when infiltrating and seeing huge grenade icon popping up in red.53. Sync shot timer should be addedDue to voice communication lag, sync shot does not feel all that synced. It is not so much problem when playing with friends only, as you get used to each other's timing and lag, but it is especially noticeable when playing with randoms.54. Make it possible to shoot out of the back of all vehicles, not just a small select fewMakes no sense being able to shoot out of a cramp sedan trunk but not out of the SUV when I have a better position for firing.BUGS1. Weapon bug - L85A2 with TA31H (ACOG)I have the L85A2 with TA31H (ACOG). Within the gunsmith, the sight unit is located correctly on the rear mounting rail as part of the barrel assembly.Please see here for correct location of the sight unit. However, once equipping, the ACOG sight unit is appearing in 3rd person view on the frontal top rail, towards the gas block. This does not match with the gunsmith view (the gunsmith view is correct); and where it is mounted in 3rd person ingame, is a hinged cover to allow access to the weapon's gas parts. This is wrong. In the most basic of field cleaning, this rail cover would be opened a lot. We would never mount a sight there, as we'd be there all day zeroing the damn thing again. Source: British Army, SAA Instructor (Inf).2. Character/slot bugwhen using the second or third save slot, I can't see the character, he is hidden behind the customization menu to the left.3. Xbox One - Scroll bugIf I scroll too far down into locked accessories (hats for example) I lose control of the menu entirely. The only way to regain it is to back all the way out to the first customization page.4. PC - Vehicle Chat is buggedin PC mode the vehicle chat is still bugged. As in, if you open the chat to type a message while entering a vehicle, you cannot cancel or send the message. Instead all keys still register (typing Go! Throws a grenade) but you cannot send it.5. Push to talk doesn't work in drone or any vehicleI've noticed consistently whenever I'm in drone or any vehicle (Driver or pass) Push to talk doesn't work at all. Even tried changing the keybinding for push to talk to see if that'd fix it, and that was even worse. On foot with a different keybinding (Tab) push to talk activated one out of maybe ten times.6. Xbox One - Silencer sound bugwhen playing co-op with friends sometimes you will be using a silencer on your gun, but to your teammates you are loud and not using a silencer.7. PC - Occasional in-game freezesbeen experiencing momentary freezing while driving around. I haven't seen my FPS drop below about 70 so far on max settings, but every once in a while the game will freeze for 3-4 seconds while driving. The last time it happened I noticed it happened as the sky was changing from day to dusk.8. DLC Sniper rifle the Stampede (Cowboy Lever Action) is not zero'edthe DLC Sniper rifle the Stampede (Cowboy Lever Action) is not zero'ed at all. Shots land 2-3 feet above the target at 100 meters. I believe the iron sights are not aligned, because third person it is fine.9. Picked up sniper rifle not actually suppressedwhen you pick up a sniper rifle off a downed enemy it won't be suppressed. You can put a suppressor on and it sounds suppressed on your side but the enemies and other players in your game will hear it as un-suppressed so it will alert enemies10. Convoy bug/misdesignwhen doing a Story Mission or anything else, once a Convoy passes by you and gets triggered, it fails once the Convoy gets away and interrupts your current mission, forcing a reload, resetting your progress. This mostly happens when getting El Polito's car and the Convoy Story Mission hasn't been done yet. It's pretty random, but every Convoy in the game interrupts what you do, some routes are very close to other missions, thus it can get very frustrating.11. Xbox One - Lost ability to take cover / auto-cover system not working.this bug is massively infuriating. Not sure if it's tied to when you get downed or have to respawn, most times it's happened has been after I've done this. It seems to only happen to me in multiplayer only. It feels like it only happens after exiting a vehicle though, I haven't noticed it after getting revived.12. Clothing BugMulticam shading is not consistent across outfit components - the crye precision shirt is properly shaded but the pants, packs, and helmets/hats are all brighter/unshaded. Also some camouflages are not placed or sized correctly (for example 3-color DCU), and also when you use camouflage on shirt, it is always darker than the same camouflage used on your pants, creating big contrast and unrealistic effect.13. Resource taggingIf you die while tagging a resource then upon your potential revival, you and your teammates can tag that resource again.14. Player/vehicle/swimming animation issueplayers may see another player running alongside or atop a vehicle when they're actually sitting inside the vehicle. The player affected will not see this effect. It seems to occur when someone has previously died in a vehicle. Similar to the vehicle bug, the swimming animation may bug so that other players see another player as constantly swimming (with water trails from each stroke and everything). This occurred after I parachuted into a river and was only visible to my teammates.15. The Deluxe Edition shotgun bugthe Deluxe Edition shotgun has a misaligned ironsight. Your arms clip into your face as you aim your shotgun and the gun is centered on-screen - as if you were in the original Doom.16. Enemies don't seem to mind or notice that you turned the power off17. Mission "Rebell Rising" bugWhen you replay the Mission "Rebell Rising" it will instandly say mission complete and switches to the next one, this is a big problem because I cant progress with my friend who needs this mission.22. PC Auto-Save causing freezingEvery single time the game auto-saves while I'm in a vehicle, or flying, I get a 3-5 second graphics freeze. Followed by a hard rubberband for any passengers. I've read several threads about this and there is no solution yet. The game is installed on a SSD, and I've got a gtx1070... This needs to be fixed.23. Stoner LMG folded buttstock nowhere to be foundStoner LMG folded buttstock nowhere to be found, it says San Mateo, but it's not anywhere on the map for this specific weapon.24. PS4 - Intel BugMajor Intel not appearing when entering the province of Montuyok.25. Drone flying into heli bugFlying a drone into a helicopter's blades causes a lot of damage and will usually one hit kill Little Birds. This can easily happen when deploying drones from a passenger seat. You have to hold the down button to stop it from flying up.26. Destroyed convoys can still be tagged27. Playing for a long time (hours) will break some game featuresvehicle radios stop playing music, missions may break. The third sub mission in the east had the sub not spawn until we restarted the mission.28. El Cerebro's assistant refuses to get into his car if you restart the missionhe just stands there. Sometimes he'll fake get in by pretending to open the door and then sitting in mid air before standing again. In addition, you pass by a Unidad base whose soldiers can spot you and fail the mission, forcing you to restart the game.29. The laser on the stoner lmg does not show up or give an option to turn on or off30. MK17 BugWhen using the MK17 it has the extended mag showing in the gun when I have the standard mag equipped. IMO the extended mag looks ugly on the MK17 so I only use the standard mag on it, but it still shows the extended mag in game and it's driving me insane.31. 3 round burst bugThere is a bug with 3 round burst resulting in a dead trigger (click to fire, nothing happens). I've only tested this on the G36C. This is on PC.32. Tac-map bugWhen one of your teammates puts a way-point on a gun or part, you cannot tell what it is when you hover over it in the TAC-MAP.33. Map glitchFallen through the map multiple times. Walking around on rocky hillsides is extremely glitchy. Respawn points for certain camps/missions are terrible and make you walk hella far around a rocky structure.34. PS4 Bug - Unidad patrol levelI can't see the Unidad patrol level on my HUD. It displays correctly in the factions tab.35. The M1891 Nagant incorrectly has a straight boltit should have a bent bolt to fit under the scope when cycled.36. AUG BugThe 20 round magazine of the AUG looks like a 30 round magazine and the 30 round magazine looks like (I think) a 50 round magazine (which makes the magazine look unnecessarily long)37. SASG-12 BugThe SASG-12s 30 round mag looks ridiculous. Just replace the model with a drum and it should be fine (I also think that the magazine that's portrayed ingame is a 20 round magazine and not 30)38. Xbox - XP BugI can gain XP, or at least it shows that I am getting it but my blue bar is maxed out at level 6 and will not let me progress to any higher levels. Is anyone else having this issue? I didn't have my XP progress bar for the HUD turned out originally so I didn't even notice this but I have already played about 18 hours worth and have around 25 skill points unused and really do not want to start over.39. Drone/Binoculars bugSometimes after parachuting or bailing from a destroyed helicopter, I cannot use drone or binocs for an extended amount of time.40. The hybrid scope bugif I switch weapons and switch back, the hybrid scope would be flicked into position while zoomed out at the same time (as if the scope wasn't flicked into position) . Pressing the hybrid scope button makes the character flick an invisible scope back up to zoom it back in. I don't know if that makes sense, it's like the game forgets to keep the scope on the side if I keep it in red dot view.41. Female shaggy hair + goggles = ADS bugplaying as a female with shaggy hair and goggles sometimes cause your hair to cover you scope when ADS.42. PC- Unable to complete side missions / gather intel etc.when locating intel or interrogations that are not part of main quest line, player animates like he is photographing / talking to target item/person but stays frozen in that state until right mouse button is clicked. Intel is not obtained or gathered. This may be related to the UI as I have most HUD elements off.43. Xbox One - Deluxe edition charactersI cannot see/use Mountain or Wolf even though it was shown as being "unlocked in CharacterSmith".44. Rebels should not be able to kill a target while I'm interrogating them45. Crosshair shows one area where you bullet is supposed to fly to, when zoomed into iron sights - you will hit different spot46. PS4 Gold Edition (digital download) - Infinite Booster issueis having a wide spread issue with the Infinite Booster. Some users report no problems, some had it working and it timed out, and some users have never had it active at all. By the time the bug gets fixed, it won't be beneficial.47. Fast travel gets rid of whatever gun you have and if it is not "owned"48. AKA: I can't do any main missions in Pucara because I haven't been introduced to the buchon yet and I haven't been able to get the conversation to trigger.77. Flare bugthe flare of the signal pistol seems only to be shown to the one shooting it, not to the teammates.78. Explosives delayAll explosives in the game seem to suffer from some sort of major lag issues at times. I've had C4 and grenades just sit there for a while well after they should have exploded. The most frustrating thing is the underbarrel grenade launcher is near useless against moving vehicles because the hit doesn't register half the time and several seconds there is just an explosion where the vehicle used to be.79. Guns not loading into gameFairly often when joining a co-op game your character will be holding nothing but have his/her hands in a position as if they are holding an invisible gun. It may take several minutes before they finally do pop in. This also seems to come with huge desync with enemy location and sometimes making you immune to all damage while everything is still slowly loading in. My wife joined me once and we tried defending a rebel radio and she had no gun, could take no damage, and she could not see the enemies in the same spot as me at all. But she could heal me if I fell.... So that was nice I guess.80. Headset bugWhen I equip "Headset D" (As I have purchased the Doorkickers pack from the Store), it automatically unequips it and reverts my character back to wearing "Earpiece". I select Headset D, go back to the Accessories menu, and it's like I never selected it. Every other item I've purchased works but that one. This only happens when equipping facewear with the Patrol cap and any headset. Any goggles/masks + Patrol cap + headset = Headset automatically unequipped, despite the preview showing just fine.81. The scopes on the SVD are not aligned properlythe bullets are offset to the right where the scopes are pointed on most scopes and at least one is to the left of the crosshair.82. PC - The motorbike controls cannot be changed for left and rightI do not use WASD, so I'm using RDFG, and despite being able to map buttons on every other vehicle to RDFG, the motorbike will remain mapped to RADF - not easy to drive that way I'm afraid!83. Windows 10 - Mic BugIf you mute the microphone in-game it will mute it permanent on Windows 10.84. Boats get halfway submerged when driving around in them85. PS4 - M4A1 BugI wanted to look at the damage meter changes between silencer on and off on my M4A1. I push the touch pad to go to menu, go to Loadout tab to see the meter with silencer on. Now back to my actual game screen, I press L2 to aim, press up arrow to take silencer off. Press touch pad, go to Loadout tab, read the meter. Then when I exit out back to Bolivia, my character just reloads out of nowhere as if I have an empty mag. So I repeat. Silencer back on, go to Loadout, then back out. It reloads again. If I do this 5 times straight, I will run out of ammo.86. C4 and possibly other throwables bugYou can throw C4 and possibly other throwables through thin objects by orienting your character so that the arm goes through the object when it releases the throwable.87. You can hear players walking when they're still in a post-mission cutscene in a safehouse88. Players are unable to shoot out of trunks, AI players can89. Heli > water bugIf you land a helicopter in the water the engine will continue to run normally, even after it sinks. Being in the water doesn't seem to cause any damage or ill effects whatsoever.90. Parachuting bugEvery now and then when I jump out of a chopper to parachute, I get stuck in the air, after my chute deploys. Helicopter & Airplane handlinghelicopter handling is still problematic and frustrating. discussion :: discussion :: discussion2. Multiplayer/Coop in-game synchronizationwhile playing in coop, we have noticed multiple times that some of the objects/enemies/etc. are not in the same place for everyone in the group. The synchronization between the server and clients needs to be improved. There are also reports about weather not being synchronized. The character conversations in Coop is not synchronized as well.3. Vehicles aren't durable enoughthey get blown up way too easily. Even the heavily armors APC tank can't survive some machine gun fire. discussion.4. Keep crouched positionwhen crouched, and grabbing an enemy. Please make the character go back to crouched position after knocking out the enemy. Not just stand straight up.5. Disappearing bodiesdead bodies should only disappear when the player is too far away and no longer in area of operations. discussion6. Defeated bases / SAM sites must go into rebel/ghost control and should not respawnabsolutely hate that defeating a base means nothing. I spend at least a half an hour taking over a base to get rid of it's SAMs and drone jammers and guess what? It doesn't even matter! I leave, come back, and not only is base control reverted, but annoying ass SAMs and jammers are back up! Why do I even bother? I don't even try to attack bases anymore, I just avoid them entirely unless there's something from them that I need like intel or a skill point. Nothing ruins a game like the feeling that not only is all of your effort for naught, but all of the little annoyances will come back even if you defeat them. Of all of the features that might bother me, this is the worst. discussion :: discussion7. Vehicles are too slowBikes and most cars are too slow.I can't play because some times target escapes and cars too slow I can't take them. it feels like the vehicles are stuck in first gear.8. Steal helicopter missionIn the steal the helicopter missions there needs to be some delay between the enemy entering the cockpit and him taking off for at least two reasons. One, if the enemy reaches the cockpit it's basically an automatic mission failure, there's no chance to try to salvage it. Two, aircraft have lengthy startup procedures, and seeing him jump in and be 100 feet in the air and gone in seconds is silly. Perhaps a 10-ish second delay while the engine/rotor spools up would be good.9. Potato ballisticsWhat about the potato ballistics? The muzzle velocity is really low and the bullet drop insanely high. This sometimes makes sniping a real nightmare.10. Weapon camo/skin does not matchthe shade in Gunsmith is accurate compared to the loadout/skills screen and actually in-game.11. Allow animation cancelIt is frustrating how when I am under fire and my vehicle is about explode, I go through this long animation of opening the door, hopping out, turning around, and closing the door behind me. It locks my camera angle until the long animation is complete. I find myself thinking to my character "JUST MOVE DAMN IT" I should be hopping out with my gun in hand ready to move or fire. Instead, it feels clunky and incredibly non-fluid. Another example is when tagging resources or snapping photos of intel. If someone is shooting at me I should be able to cancel what I am doing and shoot back. Even tagging a supply truck, I tag and the camera and my actions are locked/disabled until I finish tagging and then finish standing up. The moment the tracker is on there i should be able to book it. The era of locked in animations was years ago--needs to be updated.12. Retired Army vet and gunsmith feedbackI feel like the mechanics of ballistics and weapon attachments aren't quite thought out. Specific issues include damage not matched to real-world caliber, weapon operation not representing real-world efficiency (everything seems to reload about the same speed) and confusion about what the listed stats represent (is recoil under handling or accuracy? Shouldn't recoil go down as weight goes up?) Modern suppressors also should not affect bullet velocity meaningfully.13. AI line of sight issueAI teammates do not actually need LOS to make sync shots or even spot enemies. AI teammates seem to be able to walk right by enemies without being detected.14. Vehicle drop-offVehicle drop will drop will sometimes drop the vehicle on your character killing you, but most of the time it will drop it on the sides on mountains or in between trees and in the case of helicopters they will get destroyed or be able take off. Perhaps vehicles need to spawn closer or on flat ground.15. Alarm towers and generators should not be destroyable with firearmsit makes them pointless, since most players will always just shoot out them from a distance. There needs to be a choice of risk/reward. Do you take a chance and leave them and take out the enemies from a distance risking an alarm or do you risk going into the base disable them beforehand.16. Rejoin timer is way too shortIf I crash and reload the game it gives me an option to rejoin but by the time I notice it, it has already expired.SUGGESTIONS1. The AI teammates customizationwe should be able to customize the AI teammates.2. Let us choose to be revived or not ("bleed out" button)there should be a respawn button when you die in a single player. We should have a choice whether to be revived by an AI teammate in singleplayer or not. discussion :: discussion3. Allow us to drag the bodiesit would be nice to be able to drag the bodies away (related to disappearing bodies as well) discussion4. Night vision goggleswhen using night vision, the night vision goggles are not actually visible on players head (it is basically just a screen filter). Please consider adding Night Vision Goggles (NVGS) to helmets / stand alone.5. Add a scope larger than 6xthe map is huge and the highest magnification is only 6x, at least make it 12-14x.6. Add compasswe want to play without any HUD at all, and to do this we need more navigation tools than just the map. Because of this, we would very much appreciate having a compass.7. Pulling the trigger behind cover without aiming should blind fireI hate when the game takes me out of cover when all I wanna do is spray some bullets at the enemy from safety. If I aim from behind cover then it should expose me for precise targeting.18. Add bipods and reticles for helicopters with forward firing weaponsBipods and reticles for any helicopter that has forward firing weapons. I'm really just guessing where the miniguns will shoot than I am actually aiming.19. Add in an option to turn off AI squadmate's chatter completelywhen using the drone and marking targets I've had several people speak over each other as a target is seen. After a skirmish with enemies that you started silently but then went loud (on purpose) you'll get a squadmate say "that was fucking messy" - screw you I don't want to know what you think! Or pointing a gun at a civilian and you'll get "maybe we should lower our weapons" - I'm the squad leader, don't tell me what to do!20. Add a home basesomewhere to store the cars, copters ansld guns I find that arent in my loadout. It would ve cool if it had a skill system to upgrade your base and enemies could attack it or trigger events when you're playing.21. Add rappelling and more breaching options (fast-rope)more doors to kick down or blow up and rappelling for getting up or down buildings or cliffs to high to climb up or fall down but too low to BASE jump from. discussion22. Rethink the command group wheel for consoleI think they should rethink the command group wheel for console. This might be great in PC, but in console this is quite the drag. Plus, why do I have to stop to make these marching orders? I feel like the character should be allowed to move while it is making these commands to the group. Allowing me to move while making these commands would make the game play feel much more fluid, then feeling like I am stopping to get a bite of my burrito.23. Assign different dialogues to other playersFor players 2-4 to be assigned dialogue from Midas, Holt, and Weaver. So when you're playing in Multiplayer, you don't have 4 Nomads going "Deploying Drone", "Drones up", "I got the Bike!", "I'll fly", etc.24. Add a wing suitAdd a wing suit! How cool would that be to glide around the mountains and stuff like that, it would be so fun!25. The Ghosts always perform a full reload even if theres a round left in the chamberfix this and add a tactical reload so that the ghosts just swap the mags if there are bullets left. R6S is a good example for this. I'm used to reload before the mag is fully empty because it saves time in combat. And i'm positive that special forces would do it the same way. Also the Ghosts should use their support hand to pull the charging handle.26. Landing gearlet me raise and lower landing gear on aircraft that have landing gear that can be raised and lowered.27. Add mission checkpoints28. The option to get rid of all or some AI and to disable rebels appearingI am stealthy infiltrating a compound when out of nowhere the rebels start shooting the cartel and or unidad getting me detected when I'm hundreds of meters away sniping. Detection is also a butch of bs. When I'm playing with friends, I get detected too when I'm hundreds of meters away.29. Allow us to select type of vehicle on the vehicle drop in skill30. T3 Vehicle drop helicopter is an unarmoredT3 Vehicle drop helicopter is an unarmored, unarmed scout, while T2 is an armored suv with a minigun, which doesnt makes any sense at all. You cant switch back to the suv either. T3 should be the armored APC instead, not a helicopter that you can shoot down with your assault rifle.31. Allow us to lock shoulder view (left/right)there should be an option to lock shoulder view, so that we can have character on either left or right side permanently, without the need to switch.32. A bright green or yellow gps line would be so much easier to see when you're driving and you only have a quick second to glance at the mini map.37. Spawn whatever vehicle we wantThe ability to spawn whatever vehicle you want after unlocking all the rebel things. This should include APCs, the Humvee/jeep thing that's in the teaser, the armored humvee, Motorcyle, unarmed scout heil, armed scout heli, transport heli (armed), planes.38. Add a stealth and Loud command for AI teammatesThe amount of times the mission requires me to be stealthy and they end up shooting someone or being detected is a joke.39. Wildlife would be coolI don't need a full blown Far Cry experience, but wildlife would be cool. Particularly dangerous wildlife. At certain points in the game you actually hear cartel members talking about how scared they are of jaguars. Would be awesome if they were actually in the game. At least in the jungle biomes.40. If ARs get a special ability (Underbarrel GL), then SMGs, LMGs, and Snipers should get something tooI have no idea what SMGs should get, but LMGs should get bipods or inverse recoil (more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger), Snipers could have a main sniper scope and a 45 degree mounted reflex sight, and Shotguns could get limited amounts of alternate shotgun rounds (flechette, slugs, Dragon's Breath etc.) of varying quantities.42. Make it possible to shoot out of the back of all vehicles, not just a small select fewMakes no sense being able to shoot out of a cramp sedan trunk but not out of the SUV when I have a better position for firing.BUGS1. Weapon bug - L85A2 with TA31H (ACOG)I have the L85A2 with TA31H (ACOG). Within the gunsmith, the sight unit is located correctly on the rear mounting rail as part of the barrel assembly.Please see here for correct location of the sight unit. However, once equipping, the ACOG sight unit is appearing in 3rd person view on the frontal top rail, towards the gas block. This does not match with the gunsmith view (the gunsmith view is correct); and where it is mounted in 3rd person ingame, is a hinged cover to allow access to the weapon's gas parts. This is wrong. In the most basic of field cleaning, this rail cover would be opened a lot. We would never mount a sight there, as we'd be there all day zeroing the damn thing again. Source: British Army, SAA Instructor (Inf).2. Character/slot bugwhen using the second or third save slot, I can't see the character, he is hidden behind the customization menu to the left.3. Xbox One - Scroll bugIf I scroll too far down into locked accessories (hats for example) I lose control of the menu entirely. The only way to regain it is to back all the way out to the first customization page.4. PC - Vehicle Chat is buggedin PC mode the vehicle chat is still bugged. As in, if you open the chat to type a message while entering a vehicle, you cannot cancel or send the message. Instead all keys still register (typing Go! Throws a grenade) but you cannot send it.5. Push to talk doesn't work in drone or any vehicleI've noticed consistently whenever I'm in drone or any vehicle (Driver or pass) Push to talk doesn't work at all. Even tried changing the keybinding for push to talk to see if that'd fix it, and that was even worse. On foot with a different keybinding (Tab) push to talk activated one out of maybe ten times.6. Xbox One - Silencer sound bugwhen playing co-op with friends sometimes you will be using a silencer on your gun, but to your teammates you are loud and not using a silencer.7. PC - Occasional in-game freezesbeen experiencing momentary freezing while driving around. I haven't seen my FPS drop below about 70 so far on max settings, but every once in a while the game will freeze for 3-4 seconds while driving. The last time it happened I noticed it happened as the sky was changing from day to dusk.8. DLC Sniper rifle the Stampede (Cowboy Lever Action) is not zero'edthe DLC Sniper rifle the Stampede (Cowboy Lever Action) is not zero'ed at all. Shots land 2-3 feet above the target at 100 meters. I believe the iron sights are not aligned, because third person it is fine.9. Picked up sniper rifle not actually suppressedwhen you pick up a sniper rifle off a downed enemy it won't be suppressed. You can put a suppressor on and it sounds suppressed on your side but the enemies and other players in your game will hear it as un-suppressed so it will alert enemies10. Convoy bug/misdesignwhen doing a Story Mission or anything else, once a Convoy passes by you and gets triggered, it fails once the Convoy gets away and interrupts your current mission, forcing a reload, resetting your progress. This mostly happens when getting El Polito's car and the Convoy Story Mission hasn't been done yet. It's pretty random, but every Convoy in the game interrupts what you do, some routes are very close to other missions, thus it can get very frustrating.11. Xbox One - Lost ability to take cover / auto-cover system not working.this bug is massively infuriating. Not sure if it's tied to when you get downed or have to respawn, most times it's happened has been after I've done this. It seems to only happen to me in multiplayer only. It feels like it only happens after exiting a vehicle though, I haven't noticed it after getting revived.12. Clothing BugMulticam shading is not consistent across outfit components - the crye precision shirt is properly shaded but the pants, packs, and helmets/hats are all brighter/unshaded. Also some camouflages are not placed or sized correctly (for example 3-color DCU), and also when you use camouflage on shirt, it is always darker than the same camouflage used on your pants, creating big contrast and unrealistic effect.13. Resource taggingIf you die while tagging a resource then upon your potential revival, you and your teammates can tag that resource again.14. Player/vehicle/swimming animation issueplayers may see another player running alongside or atop a vehicle when they're actually sitting inside the vehicle. The player affected will not see this effect. It seems to occur when someone has previously died in a vehicle. Similar to the vehicle bug, the swimming animation may bug so that other players see another player as constantly swimming (with water trails from each stroke and everything). Flare bugthe flare of the signal pistol seems only to be shown to the one shooting it, not to the teammates.78. Explosives delayAll explosives in the game seem to suffer from some sort of major lag issues at times. I've had C4 and grenades just sit there for a while well after they should have exploded. The most frustrating thing is the underbarrel grenade launcher is near useless against moving vehicles because the hit doesn't register half the time and several seconds there is just an explosion where the vehicle used to be.79. Guns not loading into gameFairly often when joining a co-op game your character will be holding nothing but have his/her hands in a position as if they are holding an invisible gun. It may take several minutes before they finally do pop in. This also seems to come with huge desync with enemy location and sometimes making you immune to all damage while everything is still slowly loading in. My wife joined me once and we tried defending a rebel radio and she had no gun, could take no damage, and she could not see the enemies in the same spot as me at all. But she could heal me if I fell.... So that was nice I guess.80. Headset bugWhen I equip "Headset D" (As I have purchased the Doorkickers pack from the Store), it automatically unequips it and reverts my character back to wearing "Earpiece". I select Headset D, go back to the Accessories menu, and it's like I never selected it. Every other item I've purchased works but that one. This only happens when equipping facewear with the Patrol cap and any headset. Any goggles/masks + Patrol cap + headset = Headset automatically unequipped, despite the preview showing just fine.81. The scopes on the SVD are not aligned properlythe bullets are offset to the right where the scopes are pointed on most scopes and at least one is to the left of the crosshair.82. PC - The motorbike controls cannot be changed for left and rightI do not use WASD, so I'm using RDFG, and despite being able to map buttons on every other vehicle to RDFG, the motorbike will remain mapped to RADF - not easy to drive that way I'm afraid!83. Windows 10 - Mic BugIf you mute the microphone in-game it will mute it permanent on Windows 10.84. Boats get halfway submerged when driving around in them85. PS4 - M4A1 BugI wanted to look at the damage meter changes between silencer on and off on my M4A1. I push the touch pad to go to menu, go to Loadout tab to see the meter with silencer on. Now back to my actual game screen, I press L2 to aim, press up arrow to take silencer off. Press touch pad, go to Loadout tab, read the meter. Then when I exit out back to Bolivia, my character just reloads out of nowhere as if I have an empty mag. So I repeat. Silencer back on, go to Loadout, then back out. It reloads again. If I do this 5 times straight, I will run out of ammo.86. C4 and possibly other throwables bugYou can throw C4 and possibly other throwables through thin objects by orienting your character so that the arm goes through the object when it releases the throwable.87. Helicopter & Airplane handlinghelicopter handling is still problematic and frustrating. discussion :: discussion :: discussion2. Multiplayer/Coop in-game synchronizationwhile playing in coop, we have noticed multiple times that some of the objects/enemies/etc. are not in the same place for everyone in the group. The synchronization between the server and clients needs to be improved. There are also reports about weather not being synchronized. The character conversations in Coop is not synchronized as well.3. Vehicles aren't durable enoughthey get blown up way too easily. Even the heavily armors APC tank can't survive some machine gun fire. discussion.4. Keep crouched positionwhen crouched, and grabbing an enemy. Please make the character go back to crouched position after knocking out the enemy. Not just stand straight up.5. Disappearing bodiesdead bodies should only disappear when the player is too far away and no longer in area of operations. discussion6. Defeated bases / SAM sites must go into rebel/ghost control and should not respawnabsolutely hate that defeating a base means nothing. I spend at least a half an hour taking over a base to get rid of it's SAMs and drone jammers and guess what? It doesn't even matter! I leave, come back, and not only is base control reverted, but annoying ass SAMs and jammers are back up! Why do I even bother? I don't even try to attack bases anymore, I just avoid them entirely unless there's something from them that I need like intel or a skill point. Nothing ruins a game like the feeling that not only is all of your effort for naught, but all of the little annoyances will come back even if you defeat them. Of all of the features that might bother me, this is the worst. discussion :: discussion7. Vehicles are too slowBikes and most cars are too slow.I can't play because some times target escapes and cars too slow I can't take them. it feels like the vehicles are stuck in first gear.8. Steal helicopter missionIn the steal the helicopter missions there needs to be some delay between the enemy entering the cockpit and him taking off for at least two reasons. One, if the enemy reaches the cockpit it's basically an automatic mission failure, there's no chance to try to salvage it. Two, aircraft have lengthy startup procedures, and seeing him jump in and be 100 feet in the air and gone in seconds is silly. Perhaps a 10-ish second delay while the engine/rotor spools up would be good.9. Potato ballisticsWhat about the potato ballistics? The muzzle velocity is really low and the bullet drop insanely high. This sometimes makes sniping a real nightmare.10. Weapon camo/skin does not matchthe shade in Gunsmith is accurate compared to the loadout/skills screen and actually in-game.11. Allow animation cancelIt is frustrating how when I am under fire and my vehicle is about explode, I go through this long animation of opening the door, hopping out, turning around, and closing the door behind me. It locks my camera angle until the long animation is complete. I find myself thinking to my character "JUST MOVE DAMN IT" I should be hopping out with my gun in hand ready to move or fire. Instead, it feels clunky and incredibly non-fluid. Another example is when tagging resources or snapping photos of intel. If someone is shooting at me I should be able to cancel what I am doing and shoot back. Even tagging a supply truck, I tag and the camera and my actions are locked/disabled until I finish tagging and then finish standing up. The moment the tracker is on there i should be able to book it. The era of locked in animations was years ago--needs to be updated.12. Retired Army vet and gunsmith feedbackI feel like the mechanics of ballistics and weapon attachments aren't quite thought out. Specific issues include damage not matched to real-world caliber, weapon operation not representing real-world efficiency (everything seems to reload about the same speed) and confusion about what the listed stats represent (is recoil under handling or accuracy? Shouldn't recoil go down as weight goes up?) Modern suppressors also should not affect bullet velocity meaningfully.13. AI line of sight issueAI teammates do not actually need LOS to make sync shots or even spot enemies. AI teammates seem to be able to walk right by enemies without being detected.14. Vehicle drop-offVehicle drop will drop will sometimes drop the vehicle on your character killing you, but most of the time it will drop it on the sides on mountains or in between trees and in the case of helicopters they will get destroyed or be able take off. Perhaps vehicles need to spawn closer or on flat ground.15. Alarm towers and generators should not be destroyable with firearmsit makes them pointless, since most players will always just shoot out them from a distance. There needs to be a choice of risk/reward. Do you take a chance and leave them and take out the enemies from a distance risking an alarm or do you risk going into the base disable them beforehand.16. Rejoin timer is way too shortIf I crash and reload the game it gives me an option to rejoin but by the time I notice it, it has already expired.SUGGESTIONS1. The AI teammates customizationwe should be able to customize the AI teammates.2. Let us choose to be revived or not ("bleed out" button)there should be a respawn button when you die in a single player. We should have a choice whether to be revived by an AI teammate in singleplayer or not. discussion :: discussion3. Allow us to drag the bodiesit would be nice to be able to drag the bodies away (related to disappearing bodies as well) discussion4. Night vision goggleswhen using night vision, the night vision goggles are not actually visible on players head (it is basically just a screen filter). Please consider adding Night Vision Goggles (NVGS) to helmets / stand alone.5. Add a scope larger than 6xthe map is huge and the highest magnification is only 6x, at least make it 12-14x.6. Add compasswe want to play without any HUD at all, and to do this we need more navigation tools than just the map. Because of this, we would very much appreciate having a compass.7. I'm really just guessing where the miniguns will shoot than I am actually aiming.19. Add in an option to turn off AI squadmate's chatter completelywhen using the drone and marking targets I've had several people speak over each other as a target is seen. After a skirmish with enemies that you started silently but then went loud (on purpose) you'll get a squadmate say "that was fucking messy" - screw you I don't want to know what you think! Or pointing a gun at a civilian and you'll get "maybe we should lower our weapons" - I'm the squad leader, don't tell me what to do!20. Add a home basesomewhere to store the cars, copters ansld guns I find that arent in my loadout. It would ve cool if it had a skill system to upgrade your base and enemies could attack it or trigger events when you're playing.21. Rethink the command group wheel for consoleI think they should rethink the command group wheel for console. This might be great in PC, but in console this is quite the drag. Plus, why do I have to stop to make these marching orders? I feel like the character should be allowed to move while it is making these commands to the group. Allowing me to move while making these commands would make the game play feel much more fluid, then feeling like I am stopping to get a bite of my burrito.23. Assign different dialogues to other playersFor players 2-4 to be assigned dialogue from Midas, Holt, and Weaver. So when you're playing in Multiplayer, you don't have 4 Nomads going "Deploying Drone", "Drones up", "I got the Bike!", "I'll fly", etc.24. Add a wing suitAdd a wing suit! How cool would that be to glide around the mountains and stuff like that, it would be so fun!25. The Ghosts always perform a full reload even if theres a round left in the chamberfix this and add a tactical reload so that the ghosts just swap the mags if there are bullets left. R6S is a good example for this. I'm used to reload before the mag is fully empty because it saves time in combat. And i'm positive that special forces would do it the same way. Also the Ghosts should use their support hand to pull the charging handle.26. Landing gearlet me raise and lower landing gear on aircraft that have landing gear that can be raised and lowered.27. Within the gunsmith, the sight unit is located correctly on the rear mounting rail as part of the barrel assembly.Please see here for correct location of the sight unit. However, once equipping, the ACOG sight unit is appearing in 3rd person view on the frontal top rail, towards the gas block. This does not match with the gunsmith view (the gunsmith view is correct); and where it is mounted in 3rd person ingame, is a hinged cover to allow access to the weapon's gas parts. This is wrong. In the most basic of field cleaning, this rail cover would be opened a lot. We would never mount a sight there, as we'd be there all day zeroing the damn thing again. You can put a suppressor on and it sounds suppressed on your side but the enemies and other players in your game will hear it as un-suppressed so it will alert enemies10. Convoy bug/misdesignwhen doing a Story Mission or anything else, once a Convoy passes by you and gets triggered, it fails once the Convoy gets away and interrupts your current mission, forcing a reload, resetting your progress. This mostly happens when getting El Polito's car and the Convoy Story Mission hasn't been done yet. It's pretty random, but every Convoy in the game interrupts what you do, some routes are very close to other missions, thus it can get very frustrating.11. Xbox One - Lost ability to take cover / auto-cover system not working.this bug is massively infuriating. Not sure if it's tied to when you get downed or have to respawn, most times it's happened has been after I've done this. It seems to only happen to me in multiplayer only. It feels like it only happens after exiting a vehicle though, I haven't noticed it after getting revived.12. Clothing BugMulticam shading is not consistent across outfit components - the crye precision shirt is properly shaded but the pants, packs, and helmets/hats are all brighter/unshaded. Also some camouflages are not placed or sized correctly (for example 3-color DCU), and also when you use camouflage on shirt, it is always darker than the same camouflage used on your pants, creating big contrast and unrealistic effect.13. Resource taggingIf you die while tagging a resource then upon your potential revival, you and your teammates can tag that resource again.14. Player/vehicle/swimming animation issueplayers may see another player running alongside or atop a vehicle when they're actually sitting inside the vehicle. The player affected will not see this effect. It seems to occur when someone has previously died in a vehicle. Similar to the vehicle bug, the swimming animation may bug so that other players see another player as constantly swimming (with water trails from each stroke and everything). I've only tested this on the G36C. This is on PC.32. Tac-map bugWhen one of your teammates puts a way-point on a gun or part, you cannot tell what it is when you hover over it in the TAC-MAP.33. Map glitchFallen through the map multiple times. Walking around on rocky hillsides is extremely glitchy. Respawn points for certain camps/missions are terrible and make you walk hella far around a rocky structure.34. PS4 Bug - Unidad patrol levelI can't see the Unidad patrol level on my HUD. It displays correctly in the factions tab.35. The M1891 Nagant incorrectly has a straight boltit should have a bent bolt to fit under the scope when cycled.36. AUG BugThe 20 round magazine of the AUG looks like a 30 round magazine and the 30 round magazine looks like (I think) a 50 round magazine (which makes the magazine look unnecessarily long)37. Just replace the model with a drum and it should be fine (I also think that the magazine that's portrayed ingame is a 20 round magazine and not 30)38. Xbox - XP BugI can gain XP, or at least it shows that I am getting it but my blue bar is maxed out at level 6 and will not let me progress to any higher levels. Is anyone else having this issue? I didn't have my XP progress bar for the HUD turned out originally so I didn't even notice this but I have already played about 18 hours worth and have around 25 skill points unused and really do not want to start over.39. Drone/Binoculars bugSometimes after parachuting or bailing from a destroyed helicopter, I cannot use drone or binocs for an extended amount of time.40. The hybrid scope bugif I switch weapons and switch back, the hybrid scope would be flicked into position while zoomed out at the same time (as if the scope wasn't flicked into position) . Pressing the hybrid scope button makes the character flick an invisible scope back up to zoom it back in. I don't know if that makes sense, it's like the game forgets to keep the scope on the side if I keep it in red dot view.41. Female shaggy hair + goggles = ADS bugplaying as a female with shaggy hair and goggles sometimes cause your hair to cover you scope when ADS.42. Flare bugthe flare of the signal pistol seems only to be shown to the one shooting it, not to the teammates.78. Explosives delayAll explosives in the game seem to suffer from some sort of major lag issues at times. I've had C4 and grenades just sit there for a while well after they should have exploded. The most frustrating thing is the underbarrel grenade launcher is near useless against moving vehicles because the hit doesn't register half the time and several seconds there is just an explosion where the vehicle used to be.79. Guns not loading into gameFairly often when joining a co-op game your character will be holding nothing but have his/her hands in a position as if they are holding an invisible gun. It may take several minutes before they finally do pop in. This also seems to come with huge desync with enemy location and sometimes making you immune to all damage while everything is still slowly loading in. My wife joined me once and we tried defending a rebel radio and she had no gun, could take no damage, and she could not see the enemies in the same spot as me at all. But she could heal me if I fell.... So that was nice I guess.80. Headset bugWhen I equip "Headset D" (As I have purchased the Doorkickers pack from the Store), it automatically unequips it and reverts my character back to wearing "Earpiece". I select Headset D, go back to the Accessories menu, and it's like I never selected it. Every other item I've purchased works but that one. This only happens when equipping facewear with the Patrol cap and any headset. Any goggles/masks + Patrol cap + headset = Headset automatically unequipped, despite the preview showing just fine.81. The scopes on the SVD are not aligned properlythe bullets are offset to the right where the scopes are pointed on most scopes and at least one is to the left of the crosshair.82. PC - The motorbike controls cannot be changed for left and rightI do not use WASD, so I'm using RDFG, and despite being able to map buttons on every other vehicle to RDFG, the motorbike will remain mapped to RADF - not easy to drive that way I'm afraid!83. Windows 10 - Mic BugIf you mute the microphone in-game it will mute it permanent on Windows 10.84. Boats get halfway submerged when driving around in them85. PS4 - M4A1 BugI wanted to look at the damage meter changes between silencer on and off on my M4A1. I push the touch pad to go to menu, go to Loadout tab to see the meter with silencer on. Now back to my actual game screen, I press L2 to aim, press up arrow to take silencer off. Press touch pad, go to Loadout tab, read the meter. Then when I exit out back to Bolivia, my character just reloads out of nowhere as if I have an empty mag. So I repeat. Silencer back on, go to Loadout, then back out. It reloads again. If I do this 5 times straight, I will run out of ammo.86. C4 and possibly other throwables bugYou can throw C4 and possibly other throwables through thin objects by orienting your character so that the arm goes through the object when it releases the throwable.87. Radios everywherethe amount of radios in-game should be reduced, or simply turn some of them off by default. discussion :: discussion2. Helicopter & Airplane handlinghelicopter handling is still problematic and frustrating. discussion :: discussion :: discussion3. Multiplayer/Coop in-game synchronizationwhile playing in coop, we have noticed multiple times that some of the objects/enemies/etc. are not in the same place for everyone in the group. The synchronization between the server and clients needs to be improved. There are also reports about weather not being synchronized. The character conversations in Coop is not synchronized as well.4. Vehicles aren't durable enoughthey get blown up way too easily. Even the heavily armors APC tank can't survive some machine gun fire. discussion.5. Keep crouched positionwhen crouched, and grabbing an enemy. Please make the character go back to crouched position after knocking out the enemy. Not just stand straight up.6. Disappearing bodiesdead bodies should only disappear when the player is too far away and no longer in area of operations. discussion7. I spend at least a half an hour taking over a base to get rid of it's SAMs and drone jammers and guess what? It doesn't even matter! I leave, come back, and not only is base control reverted, but annoying ass SAMs and jammers are back up! Why do I even bother? I don't even try to attack bases anymore, I just avoid them entirely unless there's something from them that I need like intel or a skill point. Nothing ruins a game like the feeling that not only is all of your effort for naught, but all of the little annoyances will come back even if you defeat them. Of all of the features that might bother me, this is the worst. discussion :: discussion8. Vehicles are too slowBikes and most cars are too slow.I can't play because some times target escapes and cars too slow I can't take them. it feels like the vehicles are stuck in first gear.9. Steal helicopter missionIn the steal the helicopter missions there needs to be some delay between the enemy entering the cockpit and him taking off for at least two reasons. One, if the enemy reaches the cockpit it's basically an automatic mission failure, there's no chance to try to salvage it. Two, aircraft have lengthy startup procedures, and seeing him jump in and be 100 feet in the air and gone in seconds is silly. Perhaps a 10-ish second delay while the engine/rotor spools up would be good.10. Potato ballisticsWhat about the potato ballistics? The muzzle velocity is really low and the bullet drop insanely high. This sometimes makes sniping a real nightmare.11. Weapon camo/skin does not matchthe shade in Gunsmith is accurate compared to the loadout/skills screen and actually in-game.12. Allow animation cancelIt is frustrating how when I am under fire and my vehicle is about explode, I go through this long animation of opening the door, hopping out, turning around, and closing the door behind me. It locks my camera angle until the long animation is complete. I find myself thinking to my character "JUST MOVE DAMN IT" I should be hopping out with my gun in hand ready to move or fire. Instead, it feels clunky and incredibly non-fluid. Another example is when tagging resources or snapping photos of intel. If someone is shooting at me I should be able to cancel what I am doing and shoot back. Even tagging a supply truck, I tag and the camera and my actions are locked/disabled until I finish tagging and then finish standing up. The moment the tracker is on there i should be able to book it. The era of locked in animations was years ago--needs to be updated.13. Retired Army vet and gunsmith feedbackI feel like the mechanics of ballistics and weapon attachments aren't quite thought out. Specific issues include damage not matched to real-world caliber, weapon operation not representing real-world efficiency (everything seems to reload about the same speed) and confusion about what the listed stats represent (is recoil under handling or accuracy? Shouldn't recoil go down as weight goes up?) Modern suppressors also should not affect bullet velocity meaningfully.14. AI line of sight issueAI teammates do not actually need LOS to make sync shots or even spot enemies. AI teammates seem to be able to walk right by enemies without being detected.15. Vehicle drop-offVehicle drop will drop will sometimes drop the vehicle on your character killing you, but most of the time it will drop it on the sides on mountains or in between trees and in the case of helicopters they will get destroyed or be able take off. Perhaps vehicles need to spawn closer or on flat ground.16. Alarm towers and generators should not be destroyable with firearmsit makes them pointless, since most players will always just shoot out them from a distance. There needs to be a choice of risk/reward. Do you take a chance and leave them and take out the enemies from a distance risking an alarm or do you risk going into the base disable them beforehand.17. Rejoin timer is way too shortIf I crash and reload the game it gives me an option to rejoin but by the time I notice it, it has already expired.SUGGESTIONS1. The AI teammates customizationwe should be able to customize the AI teammates.2. Let us choose to be revived or not ("bleed out" button)there should be a respawn button when you die in a single player. We should have a choice whether to be revived by an AI teammate in singleplayer or not. discussion :: discussion3. Allow us to drag the bodiesit would be nice to be able to drag the bodies away (related to disappearing bodies as well) discussion4. Night vision goggleswhen using night vision, the night vision goggles are not actually visible on players head (it is basically just a screen filter). Please consider adding Night Vision Goggles (NVGS) to helmets / stand alone.5. Add a scope larger than 6xthe map is huge and the highest magnification is only 6x, at least make it 12-14x.6. Add compasswe want to play without any HUD at all, and to do this we need more navigation tools than just the map. Because of this, we would very much appreciate having a compass.7. Parachuting bugEvery now and then when I jump out of a chopper to parachute, I get stuck in the air, after my chute deploys.
