Hiiiiiiiii!!!!! I am really proud of this one!! I was really enjoying the process and the result is soooooo great! Even if I died drawing Killer's net it honestly was worth it! Also Tumblr hates me AGAIn as I'm typing this post for the third time omg just let me share art QwQ. Tagging @viralay and getting strait to the story
After a few years living all three together, they realized that they have become something more than just lovers, and they all decided to actually get married, or something like that. Nothing fancy or big, just them, and maybe some of the Bad guys if they are willing to participate (There will be tastyyyy foooood~ ©Killer). As for rings... Nightmare was never a fan of rings, especially any golden ones, so they came up with something entirely else and something just for them.
Since Ccino already had a moon neclase as symbol of Nightmare's love they decided to go with same idea, but put more symbolism in each detail. Killer values this necklace a lot and NEVER takes it off, and is more protective of it than his own soul.
The top image is mirrored (because it's a reflection in a mirror which we see), so this is how it supposed to look like

Had a weird Hollow Knight-related dream a couple days ago, so I decided to draw a major scene I remembered from it dgsgshf

#hollow knight#little ghost#hk ghost#the knight#hk hornet#hornet#alright. as of writing these tags it's been a week since the original dream so! let's see what i remember dgsgsgf#i was playing a game. which was a sequel to hollow knight ((Not silksong though))#there was some new sort of divine infection in hallownest and hornet had asked ghost to investigate it. they ended the last one after all!#the red glowy spike gate thingy is what you jumped into to enter the 'infected' areas#though it actually led directly to a hub world type of place. which was kinda like an expanded base for the grimm troupe?#more like an entire lair instead of a camp. also some greek gods were there for some reason lmao. they had their own special rooms too#so sidenote but- new headcanon that there are grimm troupe members named ares athena artemis &... venus lmao. not aphrodite for some reason#also monomon was there?? i think??? except she was cooking????? she had a sidequest to deliver something to someone though i dunno hdgfhdgh#i remember going back to the grimm troupe lair a couple times throughout my 'playthrough'#anyway. the 'infection' this time around was more of a glitchy physical corruption thing? rather than a mind corruption.#though there were still aggressive enemies to fight. but i remember getting a map from cornifer early on and he was. probably infected#i think part of his body was covered in electricity or something? so he wasn't fully visible? but he was still acting normally#there was also a moth who was the seer but then later wasn't the seer (but was still the same moth) dghgdhf. i delivered stuff to her#that glowing white wall thing in the drawing was like a one-way gate. you could only cross it from the other side and ghost came from there#i guess things looped back up somehow i dunno ghdgfhgf#anyway. ghost's red eyes. those are significant! those happened while i was walking through a corridor. it had pools of shallow water#(shallow enough to just walk through) and also creatures that were lightseeds but red.the implication was that they were full of Blood lmao#and as i went along killing them--as one does--as i walked through the hall. they started turning the water red too#there was also narration about this as it was happening ashdgsf. specifically the narrator said the water turned red before it actually did#ghost's eyes slowly turned red too. but aside from that they were fine! since. they're the player character and the player is perfectly fin#BUT. when they encountered hornet again. she thought they were infected. and that she lost the only family she had left </3#she didn't attack though. instead she just jumped into the red spike gate without a word. decided to try to fix everything herself#but eventually you'd encounter her again down below and she'd fight you. didn't actually get to that in the dream though#aand i'm out of tags </3 i wanted to talk about what i'd do to make this make more sense as an au or something now that i'm awake but. :c

vulture update: so many that apparently multiple people called the police, who showed up and proceeded to say "yup it's a dead dear, that's a lot of vultures, maybe try animal control? good luck" and then left. so that was cool.
#also i got denied for giving blood bc they couldnt find a big enough blood pressure cuff#to take a good reading. which is bullshit because ive given blood there and at other red crosses a dozen times before#so that was really embarrassing. and then when i got home the police were here.#and then they left and my family got home and my sister had a huge breakdown#because my dad was an asshole- like always#so it's been a fucking day.#yknow when every straw feels like your last straw but there are always more fucking straws#because i came home at the end of my rope and had to put it aside in order to be the only one advocating for her#and helping her recover. like.#it's exhausting. im not allowed to have a breakdown because then who would fucking empty the dishes and put the groceries away#and sit with her while she sobs so hard she throws up and get her medicine for her after.#i dont know guys i dont know...

am encountering cross stitch related problems
#1) the colors they gave me for 'blue' and 'light blue' are just BARELY different#so im using two strands of blue to make it a little more clear which is which (if i didnt itd be nigh impossible to tell them apart at BEST#but now im worried ill run out of the blue before im finished and THAT is going to really bother me#im really really hoping i can stretch what i have left but its gonna be really tight if i dont straight up run out.#im going to actually attempt doing some algebra to figure out if i can make it#2) i fucking DID IT AGAIN and misplaced a cross stitch needle in my fucking BED goddammit are you kidding me#i GOTTA start doing this somewhere else#its a cross stitch needle so its very very blunt and itll be fine but like. There's like a part of me that realizes that I've written so much Crocodad Meta that at this point I should probably just compile and condence it all into like a giant Propaganda Post
'Cause like. Sure it's all still on my blog, but few people are going to go digging through all the crap I've posted in the past few months for all the Crocodad Evidence, so just showing it all into a single post would make for like. IDK something I could use to make a compelling argument for why Crocodad could be real
(Also it would be more like, Crocodad evidence you might find on a more meta/narrative level, like on-going themes and Oda's story telling tropes/habits etc. Other people have already made posts that breakdown and analyze Marineford and compile all the subtle details+easter eggs etc so I wouldn't even go into any of that. I mean SURE I could regurgitate all that info too but it'd be easier to just link to someone else's post instead and save myself some time lol)
But also.
Do I really want to spend an obscene amount of time making that post. Do I really want to do that.

genuine and open question: how do you know when someone just isn’t that into you vs. maybe you never gave yourself a real chance with them and should truly give it a go just in case there’s a shot?

had to go (near) bgc today......... I was so STRESSED just being there. I haven't been there in years but I get flashbacks to how bad commuting to and from bgc was like. and that stress is just gonna follow me every time I'm near that area
ofc no one here knows what I'm talking about except for maybe like a handful of people, but just know that if you're ever in metro manila, do NOT believe anyone who says it's nice to be in bgc. it is a soulless capitalistic haven without good public transportation. dude I'd rather commute to makati, or hell, mall of asia than bgc. bgc is a hellscape (if it's not apparent from the post, I live in north metro manila) (this is also funny bc like. it shouldn't be terrible to go to bgc bc it's quite near makati but makati is sooooo much more accessible. commuting to and from bgc and makati itself is also its own nightmare)
#mine musings#my commuting skills got put to the test but since i refuse to drive (i get driving anxiety) i still got it (finger guns)#like to get home i rode: a jeep. a minibus. the mrt. and fx#should've ridden a tricycle too so i could say i was testing out all the transportation systems we have in the metro lol#if i did a different route i could've ridden P2P then trike#only the minibus was unplanned. it took me 2.5h to get home........ and that was BEFORE the rush hour. i want to cry#bc i KNOW if i had left later the commute would take me 3.5h. at least#what's worse is that that place i was going to wasn't even really INSIDE bgc#BUT when i was going home i rode a jeep that should've gone to guada but the driver didn't want to follow that route lmao#the route ended in market2x which..... is inside bgc................ ofc he told me beforehand and i was like. fine#i can take a minibus from there to guada. also for some reason the jeeps/minibus seldom show up in the road i was in anyway#like i even asked the guard outside about it. the road i was in was a car road... the minibuses and jeeps go there but not often#anyway i used to work there so i'm conditioned to always feel anxious when i'm close to the area#similarly i'm conditioned to feel relieved when the mrt crosses the boundary to qc lol#and mind you qc itself is BIG but commuting within it is more reasonable to me (except if you're in somewhere like. sauyo novaliches)

Sometimes I find myself pulling pages of reliable primary and secondary sources to combat a position and support my position in a tiktok comment section about history only for me to remember I’m spending $200k and dedicating a fuck ton of time and pressure to ultimately go into a career dedicated to history and I kind of just sigh and remind myself I deserve better
#this is inspired by a comment I left saying how the majority of arguments that are for dropping the bombs by Hiroshima and Nagasaki are#prepaganda by the west#and a few people were not very happy with me#my guy#I spent $15k last semester to take a class on atomic power that spent probably half the semester on the bombing#I got 100% in it#I know what I’m talking about#also dealing with a few people who are defending the iron cross as not a Nazi symbol since it was used before then#it doesn’t make sense in the context of the tiktok but whatever#my favorite thing to reply is how I’m writing my thesis about the Nazi army which includes the history of the German army up until then but#thanks for the advice of looking into it more#it’s a white lie#my thesis is on the Battle of Stalingrad but I know the history behind the iron cross I just have more oomf when thesis is said#don’t even get me started on how it’s wrong to compare dictators#StALiN aNd MaO kiLLeD wAy mOrE tHaN hiTLeR wHy DoEs No OnE eVeR tALk AbOuT tHeM#first off#a fuck ton of people talk about all dictators you just don’t read or research#second it is so fucking disrespectful and insulting to compare genocides and ‘worse’ dictators to live under#you can compare and contrast that’s cool#but ranking how bad they are compared to one another#get a life#rae’s rambles

#purrs#i think i knew it was a false alarm it just didn’t feel real. but what fucked me up is that i couldn’t t honk of what to bring. i knew we#we’re close to an exit so we would be fine and i know you’re not supposed to delay getting out and that the stuff is just stuff. but my#journals and diaries.. like i brought them all here for some new years reflections and i couldn’t bring myself to bring any of them. or my#sketchbook. or my switch or ds with my animal crossing town. idk. i guess smth flashed through my head like so much of what matters to me#is digital now but that’s not fucking true at all. why did i have a hard time deciding and brought nothing when my sketchbook is the most#important thing i have i think bc it’s my scrapbook / diary. it just fucked me ip so bad. now im staring at the ceiling and my throat hurts#and im going to be so tired tomorrow. that was so scary#we didn’t even make it outside bc the alarm stopped before we left the room bc we were scrambling to find coats and masks (lol) and them my#mom called the front desk and they said it was a false alarm. so idk. for those 45 seconds it could’ve been life or death and that’s so much#to think about. everything important went out the window it was just like wtf is even happening rn and my dad said it was a fire and i was l#like how do you know. ugh. that was so scary#like what fucked me up was. all the pieces of me are spread so thin in so many journals and shit that idk which one to bring. i would have t#to take the complete collection. and i can’t do that so i have to leave all of them. that’s the choice i made in that primal moment. it#QUITE LITERALLY does not matter and is not the most important part of this to be worried abt / fucked up over but that really shook me

ok im back idk if racially motivated is the right word but it was just . weird like idk
#SO#we r here visiting my brother / touring the college he goes to right#and we’re staying in a hotel bc its 4 hours away and we dont want to drive at night#by we i mean my parents and our neighbors who r our close friends#and we parked right outside the hotel#which was allowed btw like it was free ans there was no time limit for parking there (this is important)#and when we got out the car this old white man is just watching us like ok whtv hes just there rigjt ? WRONG#FNSKNF#after we got our rooms we (me / my mom / two of my neighbors )#leave the hotel to walk around the area#and when we got across the street#not like directly across but diagonally ?? it was a cross section like if we were in the top right corner#the hotel would be in the bottom left#doesnt matter just know that we were FAR from the hotel#and the same old white man walks ALL THE WAY TO US#to tell us we need to move our car#because we had been there for 45 minutes already#which was weird bc there was another car that had been there BEFORE us which he should have been aware of since he had been sitting there#the whole time#and the reason i think it was racially motivated (?) was because he came up to us#when it was me and my mom (two cambodian women) our neighbor (a hispanic woman) and her son who is mixed#but my neighbors husband (who is white) had been to and from the car multiple times while that man had been sitting there didnt get told off#about the car being there#but he kept telling US we had to move#like straight up arguing#he DOES NOT WORK THERE btw#and when my neighbors husband went to move fhe car#he told us he sat in it for a while to see if anybody would tell him to move it#bc u can see it from the front desk inside#and nobody told him anything

ok i'll break the ice and say i don't understand the point behind the mandalorian s2. they spend the whole 8 episodes trying to get grogu to a jedi that can train him, in the end they do, and the whole emotional ordeal rests on the fact that mando & grogu are separated now.
eight minutes later they reunite in tbobf and we're back to the start again.
wtf was the point of all that if they were gonna have a reunion before s3 anyways? like we ain't have to go thru all of that if that was how it was gonna end altogether lmao
#i just think that having them separate for two days in total before going 'suprise! they're together again' makes no sense#at least not in the context of dedicating a whole season to parting them and then reuniting them that soon ON A DIFFERENT SHOW#which conveniently takes place before s3 so there was basically no development in mando & grogu's story#like we coulda just skipped the whole 2nd season and be fine with it. cuz it doesn't amount to anything#other than 'remember this character you used to love as a child? please clap'#but ngl they got me with that too because i was up in my damn seat when i saw ahsoka i'm sawry#anyways#it would've been great to see how mando deals with being alone again and the whole thing with the mandalorian creed rules and whtv#for at least half a season namean#but nah. they had to put that annoying ass green rat back in there#they couldn't have left him out for ONE SEASON#smh#star wars#the mandalorian#the mandalorian s3#just a thot. a lil thunk#on this beautiful thursday afterno- how the fuck is it thursday again.#this has probably been said before by some people but it just crossed my mind and i gotta get it out there#don't start an argument in my notes for the love of GAWD

earlier today i was like "yknow i love tumblr but it is too much of a time sink" and uninstalled it again. and here i am, crawling back, seeking those little dopamine hits in my endless scroll.
#i love tumblr in the energy#and in some ways being here is so good for me#like for example this is the only place where i consistently hear good things about fat people#which helps with the ed A LOT - it was never very severe so just being back on here almost got rid of it for now at least behaviour-wise#and disability positivity queer positivity etc#but i hate hate hate the way it consumes my attention#and my only strategy to combat it is 'raise the barrier to entry' (uninstalling and forcing myself to use the browser which Sucks Ass)#but what about when i want it bad enough to cross that higher barrier? what then huh?#i've left before and i know i can do it again#but the withdrawal is powerful#original post
