you know those extended elemental charts that go like fire, water, earth, air, light, darkness, etc. and always throw in something that's technically already covered by the others, like ice (water) or metal (earth) or isn't technically an "element" but sounds cool (mind, soul, time). well i think that flesh should count as its own distinct element in this configuration too.

ogfoofodoxx thinking about how the most defining character trait of haymitch is how protective he is. not in the sense it's the most obvious, but how all of his actions are fueled by this desire to protect. how hard he works at keeping katniss alive in the first games, him fighting to keep them from augmenting katniss's body, him yelling at plutarch to keep finnick from having to share his trauma, him being so involved in peeta's recovery and being the one to bring katniss home. him holding mayslee's hand as she died, fighting for plutarch to stay and rescue peeta, being the one to find katniss and finnick when johanna had an episode, begging coin to believe peeta's warning. it being heavily implied or either outright stated that he was one of the people who fought to protect effie.
makes me physically ill because no one does that for him. everyone who would of, died.

So if folks want a relatively safe thing to ask Misha at the next con, pls ask him what it would take to get Gotham Knights released on DVD.

happy tdov! got another spidersona for ya! :]
'parker' is in between names right now but that doesn't stop him from being the spiderman of his dimension!
their dimension is fairly desaturated so the appearance of our favorite red and blue hero is a disturbance in more ways than one
gwen stacy becomes his 'guy in the chair' after she figures out that he's spiderman :]

hot take : i think charlie vickers embody sauron perfectly well. he's good at portraying sauron impulsive nature and curiousity + those puppy eyes are working on me, and i am Weak. but the show did him so Wrong, so all we see are the glaring flaws here and there, and it's hard to enjoy his perfomance.

like i get the idea behind "at the end of the series all magic will die in westeros" but I'm not going to lie that's lame as hell. why even set up an entire character who brings back ancient beasts on her own doing and a bunch of kids who can live inside their wolves and one kid who can see all states of time at once and a woman who can see the future but is terrible at it and a zombie resurrected through a kiss and an evil army of ethereal beings whose purpose is to destroy the known earth etc etc if it's all not going to matter in the end. i would get if like, with each book we got less and less magic but it seems to be going on the opposite direction
