Serious Face
Suki: Mr. Moon, do you know the difference between a happy-face and a not-happy-face?
Buster: Sure, just about everyone does. When we’re happy, we smile and have a fluttery feeling in our hearts. When we’re not happy, our jaw hurts from frowning so much and our face droops, and…
Suki: Do you know what this face means?
🤬
Buster: [To the New Moon Troupe] I guess Ms. Lane found out about our latest crime!
Ash: OUR?!?

Okay, we got your opinion on everyone’s favorite candy and if they like sour things.
So, on a scale of 1-20, what is the New Moon Troupe’s level of tolerance when it comes to spicy foods?
Thanks for the ask! I actually already made this scale but with 1-10, so that's what I posted. I hope that's ok and you enjoy! - <3 Gooseless
--------------------------
Johnny: He grew up eating pretty spicy food as both his parents have a high spice tolerance and he definitely inherited it. 8.7
Ryan: I headcanon his step-mother to have made sos ti malice for him a lot as a kid and for his favourite food to be sichuan cucumber salad so he has a pretty high spice tolerance. 9
Nooshy: Not as high of a spice tolerance as her younger brother by any means as they did not grow up eating much spicy food at all. 7.8
Ash: She will put hot sauce on just about everything she can and absolutely loves spicy food. 9.2
Meena: While she enjoys spicy food and is used to eating it, she does not have as high of a spice tolerance as some of the others. 7.5
Porsha: This girl has had spicy food like twice in her life and hated it both times. 4
Buster: He would think milk is spicy, let's be honest here. He will still eat spicy food because he pretends to have a spice tolerance however, but never gets further than like three bites. 2
Eddie: He has an about average spice tolerance and has a fair bit of spicy food but it's not like his favourite. 6.6
Nana: She loves spicy food and strengthened her spice tolerance during her travels as an opera singer back in the day. 8.1
Hobbs: He doesn't love spicy foods but has gotten used to it due to working for Nana for years. 6.9
Rosita: I headcanon her to have cooked a lot as a kid and learned her family recipes from her abuela as a young kid. As she got older she began experimenting more and modifying the recipes to her taste by upping the spice level in the dishes. 7.9
Gunter: He had literally never had spicy food before meeting Rosita and so his spice tolerance is currently extremely low. But it is getting stronger. 4.2
Marcus: I headcanon him to have had like zero spice tolerance as a kid but deliberately trained himself to have one as he got older and started dating Johnny's mum (the daughter of a chef) since he was exposed to spice a ton more. 8.6
Barry: Not only does he enjoy spicy food, he also enjoys torturing Stan by stocking up their apartment with spicy food only. Barry developed a spice tolerance after getting used to Marcus's cooking. 7
Stan: The odd one out of the gang, Stan's just never liked spicy food despite all the others loving it. 4.6
Clay: He loves spicy food and is always willing to try new food that others, especially Ash, offer him. 8.5
Mrs. Crawly: Mrs. Crawly would only season things with a pinch of salt and like a flake of pepper. 2.5

Buster Moon headcanons
So sorry I'm being so slow, guys! Good news is, you can check out my art and some Sing fanfiction and quizzes on Quotev.com. My URL there is "ArunaDragon". Enjoy!
-Buster can actually dance! Really well!
-He dances with Rosita sometimes. Ash and Porsha watch in secret. IT'S ADORABLE. Even Johnny and Nooshy admire them together dancing.
-Buster can sing a little bit! He specifically likes "Brighter" by Patent Pending
-Buster's got a weirdly deep selection of songs on his playlist. Ash still teases him.
-All the piglets love Buster and refer to him as an uncle, but he particularly hit it off with Rory.
-Caspar and Buster will prank the theater group together.
-Buster loves his cast, as we all know, but when they get too silly he will act like a dork to mess with them. Why not join in with the fun, right? His "old man" impression is hysterical
-He has a ratty old hoodie with earholes in the hood somewhere in the back of his closet I KNOW IT.
-His birthday is October 17th BECAUSE I SAID SO.
-He has a 'dad sneeze' that Nooshy loves to tease him about
-Miss Crawly likes to squirt him with a spray bottle just to mess with him. ...at this point it's an all-out war.
-The troupe is still begging him to perform with them! He says no, but is actually considering it.
-Buster and Marcus are good friends
-Rosita always invites Buster over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners because she doesn't want him to be lonely. (She's such a mom. I love her so much~)

Stuff for sing 3 🥰
As far as the third film of the franchise is concerned, here’s what we know. Illumination, the production company of the franchise, has not yet announced ‘Sing 3.’ However, the possibility of the film happening is extremely high. Several voice-cast members of the franchise have openly shared their expectations of the third ‘Sing’ film happening in the future. Matthew McConaughey, who lends his voice to Buster Moon, even expressed his wish to be part of the soundtrack of the potential third ‘Sing’ installment.
Scarlett Johansson and Tori Kelly, who portray Ash and Meena respectively, also expressed their desire to be part of the third film of the franchise and even revealed their wish to see singer-songwriter Dolly Parton in the cast. Considering the end of ‘Sing 2,’ which opens scope for a potential third film as a major theater expresses their interest in Buster and his group’s show, the prospects of a third film are indeed bright. Thus, if the film gets greenlit, we can expect ‘Sing 3’ to release sometime in 2024 or later.
Sing 3 Voice Cast: Who can be in it?
If greenlit, we can expect Matthew McConaughey (Buster Moon), Reese Witherspoon (Rosita), Scarlett Johansson (Ash), Taron Egerton (Johnny), Tori Kelly (Meena), Nick Kroll (Gunter), and Nick Offerman (Norman) to lend their voices in ‘Sing 3.’ We may also hear the voices of Garth Jennings (Miss Crawly), Peter Serafinowicz (Big Daddy), Chelsea Peretti (Suki), Adam Buxton (Klaus Kickenklober), Letitia Wright (Nooshy), and Eric André (Darius) in the potential third film.
Although there’s uncertainty over the possible participation of Halsey (Porsha Crystal), Pharrell Williams (Alfonso), and Bono (Clay Calloway), we can hope they will also return to lend their voices if the film gets greenlit. The return of Bobby Cannavale as Jimmy Crystal is also a possibility. We can also expect numerous fresh talents in the voice cast once the film gets greenlit.
Sing 3 Plot: What can it be About?
The second film of the franchise, ‘Sing 2,’ follows Buster and his group as they arrive in Redshore City with their show. However, they fail to impress the entertainment mogul Jimmy Crystal with their pitch. Meanwhile, Gunter pitches a different show with Clay Calloway, a forgotten rock star who was last seen 15 years ago.
Impressed with the pitch, Crystal agrees to do the show and gives an ultimatum to the group to finish the production. Ash convinces a reluctant Calloway to do the show, and the group commences the production. Challenges ensue while Buster aims for success, but he and his group triumph in the end. The film ends with a major theater showing interest in the show, indicating a future for the show and the troupe.
If greenlit, ‘Sing 3’ may follow Buster and the troupe’s new adventure with the show at the major theater. After going through numerous adversities, Buster finally tastes success at Redshore City. The third film of the franchise may follow his attempts to sustain the show’s success in a new environment. We can expect the predicaments that revolve around Ash and Meena to continue. Even though Crystal gets arrested, we may see him return to threaten Buster. More than anything, we can hope for Buster to share his wisdom and optimism to deal with challenges of any sort in the potential third film of the franchise.

Characters That Have Never/Hardly Interacted In Canon That I Think Would Be Friends
I love how we see friendships in the series like the gang, Rosita, Buster, and Gunter, Johnny and Meena, and the Moon theatre trio. But I wish we saw more so... tada!! Here's a list of characters who I think would be friends with little to no explanation!
----------------------------------------
Rosita and Marcus: I headcanon that Rosita was Johnny's foster mom while Marcus was in jail so the two got to know each other that way. And now they are just best friends who stress over Johnny and come up with crazy inventions together. Like the engineer Rosita and the mechanic Marcus would have so much in common it would be awesome.
Stan and Gunter: The energetic person of their respective friend groups, I just know these two would constantly be causing chaos and enabling their nieces and nephew to cause utter havoc.
Nooshy and Ash: Ok ok ok, hear me out here. Hip Hop dancer friend to the grungy Rock singer. That dynamic would be adorable and awesome. Also, they seem to be around the same age and I feel like their personalities would mesh together really well. Plus, they were friends in that one promo thing for the Mario movie (I think? idk) and now they are besties in my mind.
Marcus and Clay: I feel like these two said nothing to each other for like the first eight meetings, then promptly trauma-dumped about their late partners to each other, and then never spoke of it again. Now they just keep in contact about Buster's stupid ideas and their kids (Johnny and Ash respectively).
Eddie and Barry: They'd be video game buddies!!! Eddies loves video games and I headcanon that Barry does too so you just know they team up online and like completely sweep tournaments. Also, they are both the logical ones of their current friend groups so I feel like they could bond over that.
Ryan and Mizuki: I feel like these two would just be a really good personality mesh for two very energetic and extroverted friends. Also, as a former principal dancer and now troupe leader, Ryan has a lot of networking and social media experience so I feel like they could bond over that since Mizuki seems to be in charge of that for the New Moon Theatre Troupe.
Rosita, Marcus, and Aamanee: One, I'm giving Meena's mom a name. Her name is now Aamanee, ok, cool, moving on. Two, I just want the three parents of the theatre trio to hang out. Like Ash is Rosita's adopted daughter at this point and all three parents are bound to be stressed about what Buster is dragging their kids into now.
Ryan and Suki: Mainly, again, this is purely from my headcanon that Suki took Ryan's mom's dance class as a kid and literally has known him since he was born, so the two are pretty good friends. Suki would be the tired older cousin that Ryan, a ball of extroverted energy, drags to events to "have fun".
Nana and Clay: I think these two definitely know each other from when they were younger and ran into each other at a ton of celebrity events so now they are friends who gossip and drink tea together. That's it. That's all they do on like a weekly basis. It's funny and adorable.

The Last Thing Each Of The Sing Troupe Members Got A Time Out For
By time out, I may mean a corner, a chair, a chair in the corner, being sent to their room for a period of time. I’m sure I’ll be more specific with each scenario.
Buster: Forgery of a bad report card. His father was actually impressed, but Miss Crawly put the eight year old koala in a time out chair anyway.
Mizuki: When she was sixteen, she came home with a failing grade on her English test. And no, she didn’t get kicked out of the house like on Sailor Moon. She just had to sit in her room.
Johnny: Very recently! Johnny thought it would be funny to skateboard in the garage and distract his father.
Meena: She was three years old when she received her only time out. I guess she wouldn’t eat her dinner, as all toddlers are known to do and her father removed her from the table to the time out corner. For obvious reasons, she’s never had to go there again.
Eddie: Sassing back when he was told to help clean house at age 20. That seems totally like him.
Ash: She came home late at age 14 and was immediately taken to the time out chair in her mom’s [very boring] room.
Gunter: A dangerous game of Moon Shoes On The Train Tracks when he was 10.
“GUNTER! I thought you were smarter than your papa!”
Rosita: Like Meena, she didn’t misbehave too much when she was little, but had more opportunities to be punished. She and her younger brother took advantage of their baby sitter when she was six and he was four and they both had to spend the next day in their room doing nothing. Meals were brought to them, don’t worry about that.
Nooshy: Another recent offender. This time, she just didn’t listen when Marcus asked her to wash the dishes. When she admitted that she was ignoring him, he literally shoved her in the corner.
Porsha: Buster now has a time out chair in the theater, and because Jimmy Crystal had never given Porsha any punishments, she was totally unfamiliar with the concept. So when she spent half of the New Moon Budget on Squishmallows…
Buster: You need a time out!
Porsha: A time… what? What’s that?
Buster: You mean your father was that bad of a parent that he didn’t… {SIGH!} I’ll explain it on the way to the naughty chair!
Artica: Her parents made it quite clear that when you get in trouble at school or anywhere else, you serve a consequence at home as well. In addition to losing her television privileges for two weeks per infraction, she had to sit in a chair and think about why we don’t make the school staff miserable with our constant temper tantrums or refuse to do our math. The very last time was when she was eleven.
Miss Crawly: Oh, boy, was she a rebel in her teenage years. She drove recklessly on the freeway and ran a stop sign. [“I couldn’t see anything” was her excuse to the cop who caught her]. When she brought the ticket home, her mother accused her of being just like her and sent her to the corner for a half hour.
I’ll probably have to do a separate post on the Reflection Room later on. I’ve got a lot to say about that!

For the ask/ship game!
Moon x Suki!
And
Johnny x Nooshy!
Ok, a two parter, let's do this!
Disclaimer: I mean no malicious or have any negative feelings or emotions towards people who like these ships or have differing opinions from me. You do not have to agree with me. Just everyone be respectful if everyone's opinions and let's all be nice ok?
----------------------------------------
Buster x Suki: Really Don’t Ship It
So, I do not ship this for two main reasons. One being that there was no real moments I saw that could be read as romantic. They were legitimately just doing their jobs in every scene. And for the scenes where Suki is helping stop Crystal, I think pretty much anyone would have willing stopped an active murder attempt, that's just being a good person.
And two, the big one, there would definitely be a power inbalance in this relationship. In both instances, either at the Majestic or at Crystal Theatre, Buster is technically Suki's boss. And there's a reason that employer/employee relationships are at the very least very frowned upon by almost all companies. It's usually a horrible idea due to one partner being in a position of power over the other which can be, and sadly historically has been, used to abuse or manipulate the lower ranking in the company partner.
Do I think Buster would do that? No. But I also don't think that a relationship between a boss and employee would be looked upon positively by anyone around them or by Suki and Buster themselves. Suki was just in an abusive workplace, I don't think she would risk a situation like that again.
There's also the comment that Suki was much younger than what the troupe was expecting her to be. That implied that Buster is older than her and we have no idea how big that age gap is. Is it ten years? Twenty? Five? We have no idea, and until we do, that does cast the ship into a much more iffy light to me.
For me to like it, there would need to not be a power inbalance in their relationship. Again, employer/employee relationships are not a good idea, especially not legally. I would also like clarification that their age gap is not that large for this, since even Rosita commented on the fact that Suki was much younger than they were all expecting.
I mean, it's interesting? It would be an interesting dynamic to work with of a chaotic impulsive partner and one that is very structured in the way they do things.
--------------------
Johnny x Nooshy: Really Don't Ship It (they're siblings to me).
Now, I do get why people do ship these two, I just never personally saw it. Not only is Johnny's story a queer coded one (I explain more in my Rynny ship game ask), but to me the two behave like siblings. Honestly, they act like siblings. They support each other and are there for each other, but Nooshy does encourage Johnny into participating in dangerous activities (jumping out the window, continuing to fight when he should have gotten help), like an older sibling does. None of that came across as romantic to me.
In fact, during their first meeting Nooshy does think that Johnny is asking her out which he immediately clarifies that he is not. If there had been some attraction there already, I do think that Johnny would have at least responded differently (maybe more hesitation or stumbling over words, he is a character that behaves awkwardly in emotional moments).
Not only that but they seem to be in very different places in their lives. Johnny is just figuring things out. He started singing professionally max around two years earlier and has been acting the same amount of time. He's new to his industry, just starting to dip his toes into the water. Nooshy on the other hand, is hinted at being an experienced dancer. She's been preforming and existing in her field for much longer. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she was getting ready to start her own dance group or start choreographing. She's a professional. That difference would cause a ton of issues in a relationship in my opinion, as Nooshy is at the point that she can start going up the ranks in her career while Johnny is still figuring out what he wants to actually do.
That life stage plus Johnny's approach to life being more cautious and playing it safe, in comparison to Nooshy's impulsive and risk-taking attitude, I honestly don't think a relationship would last very long if it were to happen at all. I feel like they would butt heads too much over that sort of thing and while those differences work well with sibling dynamics, it does not work in a relationship.
If they were both on the same page in life, we know for a fact that they can communicate, and have seen they behave in an implied romantic manner (not just friends or siblings), then yes, I could see it.
Like I said earlier, I see where people are coming from, I just honestly don't get it. But still, almost everyone I've ever met who ships this are really lovely people so, other than my opinions, I don't have anything negative to say about it.
----------------------------------------
Again, these are just my opinions and reasonings, you do not have to agree! If you have any questions or want me to go more in detail, let me know.

Today’s Random Sing Related Brainrot
Let’s just acknowledge Buster and Mrs. Crawly are the only staff at the theatre in Sing 1.
Like, they’re the only ones we see working there full time (there were hired contractors and actors but not any other office workers and the contracted workers were no longer employed). That means, they make up every department. Every single one. Including HR (or would it be AR for Animal Resources instead of Human Resources). Just stop and think about that. They run the HR devision.
And since from the fact that the troupe were featured in every new show as well as being introduced as such the theatre’s representatives in Sing 2, we can infer that they are all under contract. Meaning they’re employees. And all employees have to go through some form of HR training before starting.
Therefore, I headcannon: Buster just played every Dumb Ways to Die video he could find as New Moon Theatre’s HR training. Ash, Meena, and Johnny immediately took bets on who would end up in the ER first. Ash won (Gunter, 3 days later, hit his head on stage).

The Coward Way Out
Nooshy: Come on, Mr. Moon! Can’t we punch these guys in the gut?
Buster: That is not what the New Moon Troupe is about, Nooshy! Sometimes the best way out of a conflict is a cowardly one! Let’s hide under the table instead!

I think we all remember that punny name from The Incredibles, right? Nomanisan Island?
Tumblr media
In the Sing-iverse, it’s actually a really nice place! You can imagine the chaos that occured when the New Moon Troupe went there for research for their adaptation of South Pacific!
Artica and Johnny: 🎶 No Man Is An Island! Nomanisan Island! Someone named this place after a weird concept, but it’s still fun to sing about in a loud annoying manner! No Man Is An Islaaaaaaand… 🎵
Ryan: Mr. Moon, will you tell them to shut up?
Buster: Sorry, Ryan, but they’re allowed to be happy here!

Chapter One of My Sing 3 Story BWAHAHAHA
Buster clapped his hands together in excitement as he watched the play unfold with perfect success. The audience watched with profound interest and was awed by the ingenuity of the movements and scenery and most importantly, the music.
Buster could not have been prouder of his friends. No, his family. Their little theater family was the best thing to ever happen to him. "Ha-ha! How's it looking, Miss Crawly?" he asked with an anticipated grin spreading ear to fluffy ear.
"Great, Mr. Moon." she said as the owner of the Frogeye theater, Chrome Theater, seemed very intrigued by Out of this World as it showed before him. "I think he likes it!"
Buster laughed in pleasure, zip-lining down to a platform and jumping to the ground from there as the show finished. He ran up to the stage, standing with his troupe as they bowed in completion of the play.
After the people began to leave, Buster ran up to the producer, calling out the tiger's name. "Mr. Chrome! Sir!" he called out, sliding to a stop next to the huge tiger. With his white mane reminding Buster of Jimmy Crystal, he wasn't at all easy to talk to. "Well, how was it?" he asked politely, ears down a little bit as he anxiously waited for an answer.
"Not too bad, pipsqueak. But if you want to premiere at my theater, you need something bigger. Something better."
"Whatever you want, you'll get it." Buster promised with a pumping motion for some showman pizzazz.
"Good. Now, there are two rules to your new show and one thing you have to know." he growled.
Buster jerked his head in a nod, looking up expectantly. "Just name it." he said, swallowing as the tiger reached down to ruffle the top of his head.
The tiger chuckled. "I like this guy." he laughed to the driver of his limo. "First off, the director - that is, you - have to be the focus of the show. And two, your rock-star Clay Calloway has to write a new song. You are competing against another group, Blackwave, and they are having their rock-star, Clark Bones, make a song too. Whichever one of you wins is free to perform anywhere you like that I own. You're theater would be famous. Meet me - tomorrow. Silverstream Hotel. 5 o'clock. Be there." the tiger grinned, tilting his chin up as he slid into the limo. "You've got one chance, shortie. Make it count."
Buster nodded with an almost smug smirk. "You've got it, Mr. Chrome, sir!"
The crew ran out to the sidewalk beside him. "So? How'd it go?" Rosita asked excitedly, hands clasped together in ecstasy. Ash hopped up and down like an overeager puppy.
"Come on, Buster, tell us everything!"
Similar agreements came from the group as they waited for an answer. Buster shook a little, definitely uncomfortable with Mr. Chrome, but turned to face them with a smile, rubbing his hands a bit. "We're in!" he said, almost in disbelief.
Cheers went up from every one of them. Whoops and screams of charisma echoed through the streets as they all jumped and bounded back into the theater. Rosita even going so far as to hug Buster tightly before setting him back down. Buster was very, very pleased at the turn of events with Mr. Chrome.
That was amazing!
"Tell us like literally everything, Mr. Moon!" Gunter blurted with a small snort as he laughed gleefully.
"He loved the show! we are going to meet him as Silverstream Hotel, tomorrow! Five o'clock!"
"What are the conditions to the show?" Porsha asked with a slight squeal. She loved being in the group! Now they were going to present shows to even bigger theaters in even bigger places.
"Okay, okay, so the conditions aren't going to be easy and they're definitely asking a lot of everyone." he dragged a shaky hand down his face. "We have to make a new show. Original, even bigger than Out of This World. It won't be easy, but I know we can get it down. Mr. Calloway, you have to write a new song." he pursed his lips, biting the lower one as he waited for an answer. The lion nodded, white mane bobbing with the movement. Buster knew it wouldn't be quite that easy for the lion considering that his inspiration, Ruby, was dead.
Buster flashed a smile at the old lion, continuing. "I have only one thing that kind of maybe makes me uncomfortable...."
"Well, what is it?" Rosita quirked an eyebrow, Meena nodded.
"I have to be the main character in the show. Like lead it and actually be IN the show." he wrung his hands slightly, anxious about that.
"What's so bad about that? You'll be amazing!" Johnny said supportively.
"Agreed. I've seen you sing and dance before - you didn't know I was there but that's off topic. You were pretty awesome." Nooshy encouraged.
"Thanks, Nooshy. I... I CAN act and all that stuff it's just…" he sighed, looking down at his open palms as they quaked slightly, he stuffed them in his pockets and looked up. "Our entire future depends on this show. I can direct and make the show and scripts and costumes and all of that stuff as well as any other director, but... I haven't actually been in a play since before the Moon Theater was flooded. Like, way before. This tiger, Angus Chrome, he doesn't take well to failure. If I'm not good enough, who KNOWS what he'll do."
"He won't do anything like that, Buster." Rosita said softly, placing a hoof on his shoulder.
"You don't know that! I mean, Crystal tried to murder me! This guy is just as tough and stern as Mr. Crystal was, not to mention way bigger." he shuddered. "He could have me dead in a moment! Or he could go after one of you or find a way to destroy our reputation or he could-"
"Buster, stop," Rosita scolded as she cut his ranting short. "I know how awful what Crystal did was. I know how scarring that was for you. But listen to me right now when I say; this is NOT Jimmy Crystal. This is a different person. What happened at Crystal Towers will never happen again. We won't let it."
Buster hung his head a moment before nodding. "Well, let's get to work then, shall we? I'll start thinking of ideas and costumes and set designs. You guys, get some sleep and dream big dreams!" he said with an energetic spin.
"That's the Buster we know." Rosita smiled, hugging him lightly before walking out the door. Ash hugged him too. Next, Meena waved goodbye, promising to visit later. Clay nodded in regard and Johnny called out his farewells. Nooshy laughed with a hop before waving and dashing out of the theater. Porsha stayed to hug him tightly.
Porsha was beyond grateful for Buster, who had been like a second father to her. "You get some sleep too, Moony."she teased, a joke between the two ever since Porsha had called him a Moony bird (instead of a loony bird)
"See you later, Porsha."
>>>>>>>>>>
Buster raced out the theater, dragging a suitcase behind him. He was talking to Eddie on the phone and said his quick goodbyes before hanging up, just barely avoiding crashing into Johnny as they climbed onto the bus.
He climbed onto a seat close to the window on the side of the bus, discussing play ideas with the crew as they drove. He hadn't slept at all last night. He had only sat at his computer, trying to think up some good ideas but it was futile.
He was increasingly worried about what would happen during their meeting with Mr. Chrome, but he couldn't know until it happened so there really wasn't any use in worrying about it. He just couldn't help it.
The whole thing with Jimmy had left him on edge about things like this and simply most large animals in general. He had quickly gotten used to Porsha and Clay, but other large furred animals left him in a stiff, puffed up mess as his fur would stand on end and he'd go frozen or not be able to speak.
Rosita seemed like his own special comforting female guard sometimes. Buster was very grateful for it, but couldn't quite figure out how to thank you well enough. About an hour later, they pulled to a stop in front of Silverstream Hotel, and Buster ran with everyone towards it,checking his watch.
4:35.
They were early!
He dashed inside the building ahead of everyone else, extremely eager to figure out what would happen, but also to get this over with.
He walked in to find Angus Chrome already there.
(A/N: Please check out my Quotev account! www.quotev.com/ArunaDragon. In the meantime, here’s an extra short little fluffy story for you!:
"You want me to do what?" Buster looked at the porcupine in disbelief, not quite sure he had heard what he had heard.
"Come ice skating with me!" Ash repeated, no sign of impatience in her voice or facial expression. Ice skating? In Calatonia? Buster didn't know of any, but he supposed there could be an ice skating rink somewhere.
"I can't ice skate!" he objected, waving his hands in dismissal of the idea. His ears twitched in agitation as a few more-than-likely scenarios popped into his head, most of them ending badly. With Buster, anything was likely.
Ash shook her head, smiling warmly at him. "Sure you can!" she assured.
"No, I really can't."
Ash rolled her eyes in a teasing manner. "Grab a jacket and come on before I drag you." he was silent for a minute. "Do you want me to jab you with my quills?" she asked somewhat snarkily.
"Alright, alright!" he gave in. No need for threats!
………
I'm doomed, Buster thought as they walked in to the ice skating rink. He was more than a little nervous. Ash was already gliding around on the edge of the ice, waiting for him. Meanwhile, he couldn't even tie the shoes correctly with their huge laces. "I can't even put these on right! How the heck am I supposed to skate in them?" he complained.
"Oh for goodness' sake-"
Buster could practically FEEL Ash mentally facepalming. She also might have been mentally strangling him. He wasn't sure. She helped him wth the shoes before stepping back to watch in sarcastic expectancy. He sighed. "When I die, you're paying for my funeral."
Ash laughed. "You're dramatic. Just try!"
After a few moments of hesitance, Buster reluctantly took a go at it. For a minute, he was fine. He tried to go at a more decent pace when he tripped forward.
Ash looked on the border between bursts of giggles and impressment at just how terrible he was. "No one is that hopeless." she said with the faintest smirk, helping him up.
He rubbed his nose with a grouchy expression. "I am. So, EXCEPT FOR ME, no one is this hopeless."
Ash smiled gently at him before skating forward from her loop-de-loops, sliding and stopping beside him. Ashe stood there looking like a shunned child, she offered him a paw. "No you're not. Try it again; with me this time.")

The Reason Buster Has Coulrophobia
When Buster was a kid, McDonalds used to have this one ad campaign where kids who didn’t eat Ronald McDonald’s food get “tickled to death” (At least, that’s how it was in the Sing-Iverse. We all got McDonaldLand)
So a typical commercial goes like this… a parent and a kid are at McDonalds. Said kid has some dumb excuse as to why he’s not hungry. (I’m only here for the play place, I HATE Filet-O-Fish, I said I was toy-starving, not food-starving, Why can’t we eat at Kentucky Fried Cheese instead?) The parent tells the kid that if he/she doesn’t eat, then Ronald McDonald would come out and tickle them. Either they would immediately comply as they see Ronald peek from a corner and grin evilly, or he would tickle them anyway until they decided to eat. Kind of a weird campaign, but it was the late seventies, where weird was all the rage when it came to advertising.
So every time somebody picks up food from McDonalds for the New Moon Troupe, Buster runs into his office and locks the door, because he’s afraid that… oh, I dunno… Johnny also brought Ronald with him to tickle him.
Ash: MOON! They ditched the clown years ago! McDonalds is now more like a boring coffee shop than the fast food chain that catered to children that most of us grew up with!
I’m sure that @ash-the-porcupine has another good reason for Buster’s fear of clowns, but this one almost makes the most sense to me.

Pitching The Idea
Buster: COME ON, EVERYBODY! We’re going to Washington D.C.!
[The entire New Moon Troupe groans]
Buster: Aw, come on! If we go, we’ll get to be inspired for our Veteran’s Day show!
Johnny: Forget it, Mr. Moon! We’ve already got textbooks for that!
Buster: If you ask me, it’s a capital idea! Get it?
Nooshy: Now you’ve really talked me out of it, Mr. Moon!
Buster: I’ll let you all commit any crimes that you want!
Ash: Washington is heavily guarded! We’d never be able to even if we wanted to!
Buster: [SIGH!] It’s the only city where I could get Taylor Swift tickets! [waving several purple tickets in the air]
Rosita, Meena, Kerani and Gunter: EEEEEEEE! LET’S GO TO WASHINGTON D.C.!

Birthday Presents
We all know how when it gets close to someone’s birthday, maybe about a month before, we start buying presents for them, right? It’s not that way with the New Moon Troupe!
Whenever Buster sees something online that he thinks someone in the troupe will like, he will buy it and save it for them in a little birthday closet in his bedroom. Artica also feels this way with everyone, but orders a lot for Meena from QVC (“Meena-Chan would love this tiered cake plate with Easter bunnies on them!” [In January])
Eventually EVERYBODY got in on the “buy ‘em while you can” shopping idea. It’s gone so far, that it will feel like Christmas to Meena, Nooshy, Artica, Porsha AND Johnny! Nana wants Buster to stop it before he spoils everyone. Thankfully, he loves his cast so much, he doesn’t listen!
