And now for more kid doodles, sing 2 edition! I drew these Busters and so they requested the movie. Shenanigans ensued

Ash was their bigtime favorite but they also liked Meenah, Clay, and "the nice monkey"

Clay that one of them was VERY EXCITED ABOUT and "draw another Ash" "okay, here you go" "they can be brother and sister"

[The space stage comes on screen] "If my parents would only let me, I would buy two rockets and have a clubhouse in space." "Oh yeah?" "Yeah. and you could come with me if you want."

"How did Clay Calloway's wife die?" (((they say his full name every time just like in the movie lol))) "I dunno! I think she was sick." "No. it was a big fight with guns and bad guys and (starts making shooting fighting explosion noises) and the bad guy SHOT HER AND SHE DIED"

"How old is he? ((points at Clay))" "I dunno! Maybe in his-" "I would say one hundred years old. Yeah, I would say one hundred. Because his hair is so white. His tea has peanut butter in it."

Feral Brozone au

They never lived in the tree. Their parent(s?) Escaped while JD was really little and Spruce was still an egg, so only JD has very vague memories of the rest of the pop trolls. They live out in the wild, starting out at just hard-core survivalists like canon JD. But after the passing of their parent(s) for whatever reason, critter attack or accident idk, they slowly get more and more wild. Especially Branch, who never even got to meet their parents. JD doesn't really know what he's doing, raising kids, and only has what little he picked up from his parents or the critters around them to go by. So he turns their makeshift pod into a giant nest they all sleep together in, he turns to more physical affection and they all begin speaking less. Why use unnecessary words when they understand each other just fine?

Fast forward, we're gonna pretend Viva never got separated from Poppy, and she kinda takes Branch's place in the first (possibly second) movie. She's more paranoid because she came terrifyingly close to being taken, and is traumatized. Her colors are dulled, but not gray. So qhen all the other trolls go gray in the pot, Viva is the only one with a bit of color left. So she cheers Poppy up, and then regains her full color.

After maybe the second movie, when they're exploring the other Troll Genres, they stumble across Feral Brozone. They never actually became a band, so no one knows their names but them. Poppy befriends Branch pretty quickly, and after much coercion and building trust they convince the brothers to come to Pop Village. Peppy recognized JD just enough to know who his parent(s) was, but that's it. Poppy and Viva help them adjust to society, but also start picking up some habits. Like more physical closeness, making a nest in their pod to sleep in, maybe some acapella too lmao. The boys didn't have instruments, but JD loved singing so he started vocalizing the instrumentals for his brothers to learn. I dunno.

I'm bored at work and Trolls still has a death grip on my life.

The climax of “Sing 2″ is a bunch of plucky, singing animals teaming up with a recently retired crime boss (who just got out of jail a while ago), to take over a hotel that belongs to a different crime boss (who just tried to have them all whacked earlier that day), so they can push ahead with their Vegas show and prove all of their haters wrong about them.

Everything about that is shady as hell, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Ok, last random assorted headcanons before a big surprise!

Ryan was born and raised in Redshore and currently lives with his mom, step mom, and two baby sisters who are named Lila, Ellie, Amy, and Bella (in that order).

When Johnny is tired, stressed, or dealing with a lot of emotions, he will subconsciously switch to speaking Hindi instead of English because his mother taught him it as a baby and it makes him feel closer to her.

Buster wears a binder and is horrible at remembering to take it off to the point Rosita has numerous alarms on her phone to remind him.

Eddie was running the theatre while taking night classes during Sing 2 so the troupe could go to Redshore and not leave anyone behind.

Nana and Clay have been friends for years due to performing a few times together and at the same events when they were young.

Marcus does not understand like 90% of any of the music or theatre references Johnny makes, like not even close to understanding. He is pure confusion.

Meena makes birthday cakes for all the members of the troupe and will also bake things for holidays people celebrate, completely unprompted. She has a list of everyone's favourite flavors and everything.

Ash and Rosita talk to each other in Spanish a lot as they are the only two members of the troupe who are fluent in it. This also makes them the only members of the troupe to have someone else there speak the same non-english language as them.

Gunter, despite having a German accent, is Finnish. The only reason his accent is German when he speaks English is he learned English when he was living in Germany for work.
