Review of drama:
Ok so it was very very interesting. /gen I'm not joking. In the beginning, I definitely got like lost tomb vibes but after some time and thought, I realized, I shouldn't compare the two. There many differences, including the appearance of supernatural beings. Also no cute gay moments between any characters so that was a shame. It was a lot more subtle or at least more natural seeming creatures in lost tomb while candle in the tomb did not hold back. I really enjoyed it and literally breezed through it. No regrets and I shall go on to the second season! (which will also have a whump list) (coming soon to theaters near you!) I hope you enjoy! It's a great show.

The Legendary Life of Queen Lau. 7/8
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Large Queen (cdrama); Oh My General (cdrama); Romance of Tiger and Rose (cdrama)
Do not take this drama seriously at all. It’s a completely silly, hilarious, over the top (satire) historical comedy. If you saw ‘Oh My General’ it has that type of humor in it. Now what drew me in is the female lead in this, Jackie Li, who I absolutely love love love in this. She bends all sorts of normals in what atypical female lead is like in a cdrama. The male lead Li Hong Yi is great as well and both having excellent chemistry together. The secondary main couple which breaks also most norms is the parents which is also a great highlight in this. Their freaking hilarious together as well and equally fun to watch. The only big drawback for me is that towards the later half it does get stale and bogged down feeling like most of it is just filler episodes. The storyline definitely should’ve been shortened down a lot to make it flow better. I’d say towards around 25 of the episodes is when I just wanted to fast forward through most scenes. Overall through its a super fun drama.

Hello Rainbowsky,
Is it true that someone really booked 26 screenings of One and Only. Or is it a rumour?
And if it’s true, 26 screenings mean it is dedicated to WYB’s 26th birthday.
So, WYB, Chongqing, very rich and anonymous identity does not it points to one person? => XZ
What do you think?
Hi Anon! 😊
Tumblr media
Fake, fan fiction, CPN.
It's true that there were such bookings made in Chongqing (GG's hometown, and where his family lives).
It's not proved who is behind the bookings, but the number is an interesting coincidence given that DD is turning 26 soon. We know that GG and DD often signal their birthdays this way.
And whoever it was bought all the expensive high end theaters where tickets are difficult to sell, and left the affordable ones for passersby, which was thoughtful - like a rabbit we all know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(source)
The same thing was done for Born to Fly. 30 screenings were bought out. A friend told me that a box office analyst even took note of it, saying that the film was doing better in Chongqing than anywhere else in the country. 😅
Other celebrities have been buying screenings - a long list of them, some of them including (source):
Kara Wai - Hu Jun - Wang Chuanjun - Victoria Song Qian - Yin Zheng - Wu Lei - Yu Shi - Ni Hongjie - Qiao Shan - Wang Shengnan - Meng Hetang - director Su Liang - Wang Yitai - Dong Sicheng - Jia Ling - Jia Bing - Liu Xiaoshi - Huang Yi
And there are likely more who've booked screenings, but they're all open about it, and post openly about their support for DD and their best wishes for the success of the film. And no one is booking a large number of screenings like this.
30 screenings, 26 screenings - this is an extravagant expense, and done anonymously. That points to GG AFAIAC. He doesn't do half measures. He drops bombs, as we all know. He's not subtle.
Yes, it's a gift but I think it's also a flex. He's showing that he supports DD in a big way, and will spare no expense.
Those who know, know.
DD said Leos love to be praised. This is definite praise. It's sweet to picture DD's smug spoiled smile when he finds out about things like this. He knows he's loved, and he knows that others know it too. That's something that would definitely please him.
Of course, this is total CPN. We have no way of verifying.

I tried not to post Shiwang stuff, but they (the official capacity) just keep giving me reasons to do so. Today, Three-Body community's weibo account posted a quiz that can test which Three-Body character you are. It's not a general personality test. They actually ask you a series of questions on what you'll do in the fight against the trisolarians. It's unfortunately not very feasible to translate because you'd get different questions when you pick different answers.
But anyways, I tried it multiples times and got quite a few different results. What caught my attention was one version of the character descriptions for Wang Miao and Shi Qiang both have a part that describe their interpersonal relationship. That's something other characters don't have (at least not for the ones I've seen). Not even canon lovers like Ding Yi and Yang Dong. And not for Luo Ji either since he should be thankful for Shi Qiang's existence as well. So I'm certain whatever this is, it's meant for Wang Miao and Shi Qiang ONLY.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Translation of Wang Miao's description:
"Honestly, you once were someone with a fragile heart, but your rational mind can eventually help you conquer your fear. At a crucial moment, you can even be the key player to turn the situation around. You love your work. You not only can gladly endure all the hardship, but also thought of dying for the cause. But luckily, there's always kind people around you who love you. Even living at the end of the world, your life is filled with hope and sunshine every day."
Translation of Shi Qiang's description:
"You act faster than you think. You instinct is higher than your logic. No matter what you trust your judgement. Facing enemies, you are like the devil. But when facing friends, you have a soft side. Even though you try to hide your kindness and softness most of the time, those who truly know you all know that you didn't turn into someone who's cold."
I honestly didn't think they'd bring out my Shiwang feels with a simple personality quiz. BUT THIS IS JUST TOO MUCH FROM THE OFFICIAL CAPACITY AGAIN. Shi Qiang is someone who loves Wang Miao, and Wang Miao is someone who truly knows Shi Qiang. Shi Qiang gives his kindness and softness to Wang Miao, and Wang Miao's life is filled with sunshine and hope...
