How can I describe how satisfied I am with this piece! I’ve been working on this thing since June 1st! And it’s been my “summer project”. This thing is HUGE and I mean that! It’s about 17 inches long and 11 inches wide and man is it heavy. Rorschach is absolutely my favorite character in all of DC comics and I just had to go all out on this piece. HBO's Watchmen: Nothing Ever Ends (2019) initial thoughts: The show finally premiered last night, and my initial thoughts are that it kept the spirit and realism of Watchmen's universe. The story is set decades (approximately 30 years) after the events of Watchmen. The show still provided the dark and brutal world. The series started with brutal racism and masked police force. The pilot itself contained a lot of Easter eggs involving the original Watchmen team. Some very discreet, while the others are pivotal plot points. I am excited for the show even more now, for I love Watchmen both movie and novel. Wow. DC nails the Lenticular cover every time. WAY better than the Marvel covers...IMO. Now that I’ve read issue 1, I can comment on the comic. I really enjoyed the dialogue.
