If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:

While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
🚨 Students at Harvard University launched an encampment in support of Gaza in Harvard Yard moments ago, calling for an end to Harvard's moral and material complicity in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.
Harvard has invested over $200 million of its over $51 billion endowment in companies with ties to zionist settlements in the West Bank, while most of its investments to the zionist entity are kept secret.
The students are demanding financial transparency regarding investments related to the zionist entity, as well as genocide and occupation in Palestine; divestment from these investments and reinvestment in Palestine; and dropping all charges against student activists.
The University has suppressed student voices in support of Palestine time and time again, suspending the Palestine Solidarity Committee just this week on baseless grounds. They have also enabled attacks on pro-Palestinian students from the media and politicians. Today, the students say enough is enough, and that they will no longer tolerate their institution's support for genocide.
This brings the number of ongoing encampments to 19, with more to come.
the university which administers the Pulitzer prizes is not allowing press on campus, to make sure nobody on-site can document what is happening.
the nypd threatened student journalists qnd their dean with arrest if they leave a building named after Joseph Pulitzer.
at this point it isn't even worth remarking on the sheer horror, the baffling irony of it all.
entire new york roads have been closed to traffic so that nobody can prevent the world's largest police force's brutalization of students protesting THEIR tution fres and tax dollars contributing to killing kids.
all of this to... keep investing in an apartheid regime.
Columbia University would rather risk their students getting murdered than divest from genocide...
hey y'all, with all the protests going on, here is your friendly reminder to NOT TALK TO COPS
whatever you do, do NOT talk to ANY cops. do not answer any questions. do not give them ANY information unless you are LEGALLY REQUIRED TO. if they ask you a question, ask them if you're required by LAW to reply. if they say yes, ask them WHICH LAW EXACTLY.
some cops WILL try to trick you to get information out of you. give them NOTHING unless they prove that you have to by law. if you're arrested, comply and WAIT TO TALK TO A LAWYER. do not tell them ANYTHING until you have a lawyer.
i'm so serious, don't even nod or shake your head. don't comment on any of your intentions. the smallest thing could be an admission of guilt, which just makes your lawyer's job much more difficult. as soon as you come into contact with the police, you are a STATUE. you say nothing, you do nothing, you have no opinions.
stay safe, love you all, free palestine <3
EDIT- MAKE SURE YOU SAY THE WORDS "I AM INVOKING MY RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT" OR THE COPS WILL TRY TO GET YOU IN TROUBLE FOR "NOT COMPLYING" 🍉

"My entire identity has been wiped out" says Saqr Abdel Aal whose immediate family were all killed. On April 22nd, 2024, the Abdel Aal family were targeted in an air strike that resulted in the deaths of at least 17 children and 2 adults. With tears in our eyes too, we were present to capture their painful farewells.
Every night welcomes new martyrs, and every morning is full of grief. When will this end? Rafah is not a safe place for children, women, or men.
We remain on the ground in Gaza, capturing the reality of their community while supporting them via aid missions. It is our greatest dream for Palestine to be free and safe. 💔 🌍✊🏼🇵🇸" from Gaza Sunbirds, 25/Apr/2024:
This is at AUB (Arts University Bournemouth). Hold your educational institutions accountable for funding and platforming programs that support genocide. Boycott Stratasys. Flood their emails telling them to take accountability. Take action.
It is an unfortunate trend for colleges to silence the voices of their Pro Palestinian student body. We've seen it with Columbia University. Why aren't we holding these schools accountable?!?!
