Nobori and Kudari AUs At a Glance pt.1

Hello! Hi! So, I made a long post about the Dead Dove AU, and it got me to thinking! There's a lot of AUs floating around between me and Riso, and honestly not all of them have been talked about publicly! You might have seen some art from Riso but!! I thought it might be convenient to make some "at a glance" style posts discussing the slightly different angles of each AU.

Some notes may be vague, both because some things might have to stay secret for maximum impact, but also because I may not have thought of it yet.

Also, although I call select AUs 'shared,' Riso and I collaborate on all of the AUs. Shared ones are simply the ones we conceived of together, instead of coming up with the idea and subjecting each other to our brain worms.

Bot Emmet AU: Synopsis: Ingo wants to be everywhere all at once, so he decides to build a copy of himself. During the process, he realizes he's actually deeply lonely, and turns it into a brother, friend, and companion instead. Waking up before Ingo expects it, Emmet builds his own personality and becomes a real companion to Ingo, instead of a fabricated one. Spin-offs: Horror Amnesia 'au.' Nobori: Excellent with all things of a mechanical nature. Because he has felt emotionally isolated from others his whole life, he has trouble understanding his feelings and emotions; this also leads to him going quiet when he doesn't understand what he's feeling. Incredibly dedicated to his job and providing excellent experiences for everyone who comes to the Subway. Wants to do the best for Emmet as well as the employees in his charge. Rather serious, but he also loves to discuss electronics and programming. He will info dump if given the opportunity, and enjoys deeply discussing topics of interest to him. He is also incredibly wordy. Has a penchant for continuing thoughts out loud, not realizing that others have not been hearing his thoughts and being suprised when they confused. Kudari: Ingo is more important to him than anything else, regardless of his programming. He enjoys supplementing his knowledge via searching the internet. Has an overwhelming and inexplicable need to learn how to use nun-chucks. He's capable of taking pictures with his eyes, and has dedicated folders of pictures of Ingo. Because of how he was built, he is unable to stop smiling. Since the agents of the Subway are Ingo's guys, they are also his guys. He considers the subway agents to be like ducklings. Sometimes he will stand stock still in corners because he has found a strong signal and gets distracted with searching for things he finds interesting. Doesn't understand Ingo's verbally continued thoughts more than anyone else, but he joins into the conversation anyway. Romance Dynamic: Emmet initiates. Ingo is initially shy about it, and worries that he forced Emmet into it by programming him improperly. Ingo's entire sexuality and comfort with his body expands upon sharing his feelings with Emmet. Extra Tidbits: Ingo is trans and Emmet does not identify with any gender (and has completely interchangeable genitalia attachments). Fics: Build a Companion for Yourself, Nobori_Search.exe , Meet

Bride of the Black Dragon AU: Synopsis: Emmet has been chosen as the Bride for a ceremony which gives someone to the local deific figure, The Black Dragon. Unfortunately, Emmet does not know much of what this entails, and fears that he has been sent as a sacrifice. However, when he arrives... Nobori: Honorable and strong, Ingo is well-versed in all aspects of being a gentleman and a scholar. His background is similar to a prince's upbringing, so he speaks formally and with poise. When he is more comfortable with someone, he relaxes some, but still speaks overly formally. Has a playful side, and likes to thump his dragon tail when he's in a good mood (this translates to his human form as well). Kudari: Just wanting to live a normal life, he's at first intimidated with being forced into such a dramatic life. When left to himself, he's naturally curious, and likes to explore. His self-esteem is somewhat low, and he believes deeply that he's painfully normal. Gets extremely bashful when given compliments. Romance Dynamic: Ingo initiates. In the beginning, there is a size difference (￣y▽ ￣)╭ ehehe 🤍 At first, Emmet is shy, unsure, and Ingo gently builds his comfort. It's a respectful and soft love (with lots and lots of sexy times). In order for Emmet's body to adapt to special changes, he needs to take in the energy he and Ingo will share once their bond is complete. ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧ Extra Tidbits: The fic series is still in progress. This has the potential to be a verrrrry horny AU. Any horny entries will exclusively be on Ao3 when posted. Fics: A Gilded Bride

Hisui AU: Synopsis: Ingo has certain memories that, no matter what he does, slip away the moment he tries to recall them, almost as if they are being taken from him. Despite this, for the fleeting moment he can experience them, they feel so very important. No matter what, he will find a way to remember. Nobori: Determined, he will fight to learn what his dreams mean. Although he does not seek out the help of others, his friendship with Akari allows him to accept her offer. He does not wish to cause trouble for others, and so he tends to push his own worries to the back of his mind, and instead focuses on ensuring others are safe and happy. Knows in his heart that he is missing someone deeply. Kudari: Because he is helpful to a fault, he will try and assist anyone as much as possible. Fiercely protective of Ingo, he will tear himself apart before he allows anyone or any thing to bring harm to his brother. Has a weakness for sweets. Although his speech is stilted in his native language, he takes rather surprisingly to the language in Hisui, and learns it quickly. Romance Dynamic: To be seen 🤭 Extra Tidbits: The twins have not admitted their feelings to each other in this AU yet - Ingo was thrown into Hisui before it could happen. The fic is still in progress! Fics: No Such Thing as a Bad Omen, Bonds Forged Long Ago Dead Dove AU: Synopsis: Built exclusively to explore dead dove topics, it has bloomed into something much bigger than that. Ingo is a controlling figure who explores all the interests and kinks he can think of, using Emmet as the one who experiences it all. Contains many dead dove topics, and the base AU is mostly centered around their sexual experiments. Connections: Mermmet AU Spin-offs: Death Train AU, Angel Demon AU, Pet AU, Royal4 AU, Quadruplets AU Nobori: Believes deep in his core that he and Emmet are two halves of the same person, cruelly split at birth. Incredibly high libido to the point where it is almost always in the back of his mind. Has a high need for touch, as well, and does not understand personal space when it comes to Emmet. Does have something of a mean streak, and will antagonize people when he finds it fun. Exceptionally calculating, he will plan things for weeks in advance before he acts on it, anticipating every outcome until it is acceptable to him. Kudari: A true empath, he can sense and is effected by the emotions of others. Despite this, he doesn't expect Ingo's treatment of him, and continues to hope that Ingo will stop what he's doing and they can go back to being happy like when they were young. Struggles to understand why Ingo doesn't listen to him, and tries to object to any of their activities that he does not like. Finds it difficult to not trust Ingo, and often falls for misleading words, stumbling into new scenarios. Romance Dynamic: Ingo initiates. Ingo is obsessed with Emmet, and shows it in unhealthy ways. Ingo, despite being well-read, does not understand sub-drop, and only provides the most clinical of comfort after their 'scenarios.' There is love in there, but it is twisted. Extra Tidbits: The growth between these two is instigated by Emmet's escape into another universe. Fics: Decoupled, Date Night

Royal AU: (shared with @glassesblu) Synopsis: A royal spin off of the Reverse Ages AU, Oemmet is a king who has lost his brother many years ago, and has withdrawn into himself. While he tries his best to rule the kingdom in a manner that his lost twin would approve of, he remains closed off to close bonds. However, with the appearance of a young prince, perhaps he won't be closed off for much longer. Connections: Reverse Ages AU Nobori: Young and idealistic, Ingo wants to impress all those around him and prove he is a formidable prince. When he meets Emmet, he's immediately struck with the need to gain his attention. A skilled swordsman, he is still learning the depths of court life as an adult, but is endearingly eager and determined. Despite this, he is very popular both in his own kingdom as well as in neighboring kingdoms. He is quite charming, and not prone to being bashful. One of his greatest enjoyments is making Emmet smile. Kudari: Emmet is well educated, and acts in the best interest of his country; he is a beloved king, and well-respected by surrounding nations. Because of his hard-work, his kingdom flourishes, but he is still incredibly lonely. He misses his twin, and considers Ingo's death to be his fault. It's hard for him to accept gifts because of his guilt. Able to see when someone is trying to take advantage of him or his people, he does not tolerate attempts to destabilize his kingdom. Romance Dynamic: Ingo initiates. It's very courtly, with exchanged letters and gifts and romantic poems recited to Emmet in beautiful, scenic locations. They like to flirt in established court manners, and be as romantic with each other as possible. Extra Tidbits: This AU instigated the Death Train AU, because Ingo did *not* accept that Emmet was left behind and unhappy after his death. So, he jumped off the Death Train, where normally Ingo and Emmet wait for their counterpart to join them, and forced his way into reincarnation to rejoin Emmet. Fics: Back to Back on the Battlefield, Double Heading

Unicorn AU: (shared with @glassesblu) Synopsis: Ingo is a humble hunter in the service of the Queen. He is highly skilled in navigating the woods, and makes sure to not disturb nature beyond what he must. However, those woods contain a beautiful being that the Queen covets among all things. When Ingo captures the unicorn of the woods, he does not realize it will bring harm to the creature. Meeting the unicorn years later, he realizes that he needs to free him, so as to save the unicorn from wasting away. Nobori: Down to earth, Ingo is very self-sufficient. For a very long time, he was loyal to the kingdom, and followed the Queen's commands to the maximum of his ability. Although he is a hunter, he's very kind to the forest, and offers words of respect when he needs to hunt any animals for any reason. Although he is usually straight-forward, he gets tongue-tied at Emmet's beauty, and becomes incredibly bashful in certain situations. Has a great sense of honor, and is dedicated to anything he sets his mind to. When the situation calls for it, he will fight to defend that which is important to him, but he prefers a more peaceful approach. Very strong physically, and loyal with all of his being; it was difficult for him to stop being loyal to the Queen, but his devotion ultimately lies with Emmet, who he chose in the end. Kudari: Sweet beyond measure, he protects the woods he lives in, though he does not do it through force. Simply, his presence cultivates gentle plant growth and healthy animals of the forest. He does not resort to any sort of defensive measures, and is kind to all who approach. Because negative emotions are fleeting to him, he quickly and easily forgives, providing the offender apologizes sincerely or seems honestly repentant. Does not like the feeling of clothing when in human form, but seems unconcerned with shoes that completely cover his feet (open shoes such as sandals cause many sensations that upset him, since he is used to hooves). Misunderstands when things are temporarily offered to him - considers them to be gifts. After Ingo offers his coat, he begins to consider Ingo his Knight, and shares his magic with him. Romance Dynamic: Emmet initiates, though both are quite inexperienced in matters of romance, and Emmet truly believes that Ingo instigated by giving him the hunting coat. Emmet is open to most anything, but does not understand innuendo in any capacity. Extra Tidbits: Due to becoming Emmet's Knight, Ingo becomes immortal. They make cameos in the Death Train AU, because they must check in on occasion. Here, Emmet frequently holds tea parties for any visiting Emmet and Ingo. Fics: None yet, but Riso has made so much good art!!! (this is just a sample because I love his face here!!!)

for the second bit, i like a lot of aus~ i enjoy whenever people work off of the emmet is reshiram/ingo is zekrom fantheory, i really enjoy @glassesblu's oingo/yemmet and oemmet/yingo aus, along with the ones they have going with @belltrigger -- especially bot emmet, changeling ingo, and unicorn emmet! i also like @unovanhunny's selkie au cus... i like selkie aus x'DDD

as for my own? i like my main comics of emmet aging alongside ingo while they're separated and then showing up to get his brother back lol, and of course i'm really into hades and persephone au atm

okay so emmet and ingo end up having...... a lot of kids. like, a lot a lot. there was a big shortage on gods and goddesses but that has been Taken Care Of because emmet and ingo cannot stop going at it

all of their kids mainly work out of the underworld -- even the ones that end up being olympians -- and they're collectively considered equivalent to depot agents when they're not fulfilling major godly duties

their oldest daughter is aphrodite -- she hardcore ships her parents and has no chill

their oldest son is hypnos -- he's technically in charge of organizing all the agents' duties and is very exhausted all the time

occasionally emmet will be the one to get pregnant to spice things up and it usually ends one of three ways: the kid is a super op god, it's a miscarriage, or the kid is born mortal and dies soon after -- it's always traumatizing in the case of the last two and neither of them ever learn

that being said zagreus is a strange mix of op god but who also died and kinda is sickly (he inherited emmet's allergy to ambrosia) -- he's emmet's lil guy even though they like to razz each other

nyx is also one of emmet's good pregnancies and she's a huge daddy's girl

all of them are close with ingo regardless though, ingo loves his kids and spoils them all because he can't bear to deny them anything

Hi! I might have sent this ask before but my memory is shit so I cannot fucking remember lol (might not have at all, might have sent it to a completely different person, who knows!) but, lately I’ve been overthinking soulmate AUs, specifically the ones where if you get hurt your soulmate feels it too. Like, there are SO MANY possibilities!!

My first thought is with like warden Ingo and reader. So, lets say before Ingo went all gone girl or whatever, he hadn’t met his soulmate yet. He gets to Hiusi knowing fuck all, and probably doesn’t even remember soulmates are a thing. He’s not getting random bruises either (at least initially) so theres no reason to question shit. He just starts getting used to leroy jenkining his way through life. Then, reader shows up! Maybe reader remembers soulmates are a thing, maybe they don’t. Either way they figure out they have one here quickly (random bruises, cuts, scars, if they don’t know someone’s explaining it to them sooner then later lol. OR MAYBE!! All of ingo’s scars from his previous injuries just kinda hit the reader at once. Maybe not the pain from them but they go to change into their new clothes and look in the mirror like, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!).

The reader just becomes more careful as to not get hurt because they don’t want to hurt the other person. (this could work with volo too tbh). But no matter how careful they are, they still are getting hurt, so the other person does figure out that they may have a soulmate all of a sudden, or maybe they assume they just don’t remember how they got it (ignoring that feeling of doubt in the back of their brain). I just, imagine the fucking ANGST!! Going your whole life, or what you remember of it, thinking your going to be alone only to one day realize actually no, your not. Like, first obviously theres going to be joy!! And excitement!! But once that calms down, or you actually see the scars you share, the realization that you did that to someone else too…. GOD I FUCKING LOVE IT!!

The other place my brain goes is like, sex. Like, does the pain you and your soulmate share discriminate? If you fuck your partner into the bed so hard they can’t walk the next morning, will you find yourself struggling too? Are the handprints, your handprints, showing up as bruises on their hips going to be on yours as well? Do you basically give yourself a hickey?? Like, pretty much everyone classifies Emmet and Volo as “rough rides”, so to speak, so after your first time with them are they gunna get a taste of their own medicine??? I'm a submissive little bottom who would get a huge amount of enjoyment out of seeing shit backfire lol

I was suddenly hit with emotions and ideas thanks to @belltrigger and @glassesblu’s Reverse!ages AU (Old!Emmet and Young!Ingo). The dialogue is taken from one of my fav films, ‘The Last Unicorn’.

This is my own idea for this AU. I thought of Emmet, after years of unable to find Ingo and coming to terms that he might be gone forever, has to completely remove himself from his work and passion with trains because it reminded him too much of his brother. On his road to recovery, he decided to quit his job at Gear Station and trained to take over Uncle Drayden’s position as Opelucid’s Gym Leader. By the time Ingo returns, Emmet’s already settled into his place as the Gym Leader for nearly a decade and confident he has moved on...OOP.

Since Halloween's coming soon... ((if you celebrate it)) what "movie monsters" fit the main crew?

Oh I love Halloween! And good question! 

As someone who has spent a lot of time thinking about supernatural aus for other fandoms, this is right up my alley >:3

Emmet: I think werewolf is very fitting for him! A big friendly, fluffy puppy that just wants to be part of a pack. Could look intimidating for all of 5 seconds before it's obvious how cute he is x3 

Rex: Obviously if Emmet's a werewolf, he is too, but obviously he tries to be/ is a lot scarier and thinks of himself as a "lone wolf". Uses his size and monstery-ness to intimate and look tough. (Also, hmm... Wonder what would happen to him if he was out in space and went right up to a moon??? XD)

Wyldstyle: Something to enhance her agility would be good. But tbh, I can't make up my mind! A centaur cause of the speed and jumping she'd get being part horse? 

Vampire because of all the speed and strength that gives her, with the whole beautiful lady vampire thing she'd probably have going on. Plus it'd play into the whole trope of a vampire and a werewolf being in love x3

Or maybe like, she was an angel with like heavenly singing, but when she became a masterbuilder, turned into more of a badass fighting Valkyrie (like the ones you fight in God of War 2018).

Benny: I think sentient space gas in a suit would be cool! Like Dr Kraus from Hellboy, but if he was made out of nebula stuff, like some of the sentient nebula creatures they occasionally have in Star Trek. I think it fits him because of him being all floaty and stuff.

Batman: Vampire is obvious of course, and quite fitting tbh. But wouldn't it be interesting is that's what everyone thought he was, but he was actually something different? Like, maybe a gargoyle or something? xD I mean, just imagine him sat on top of a tall gothic building brooding x3

Metalbeard: Well cyborg or a Frankenstein monster seems like the obvious choice, but I had Siren pop into my head randomly and that's just too ironically funny not to pick!!! xD He would not have a good singing voice, yet magic would still tempt people near (so he could Rob them, cause he is a pirate after all). Maybe it would be more them going "That singing is so terrible, yet I have a morbid curiousity to find out what it is..."

And he could use mechanical legs to get around that look like his usual self and help keep him hydrated (as a siren is also a mermaid and needs water probably).

Unikitty: ??? Well she's already kinda magical, so it's tricky... I'm thinking either she's got trickster fairy stuff going on, or perhaps she's a chimera of cat, unicorn and... dragon maybe? 

TLM Gaia AU?

For those who don’t know: Gaia is a big fictional expanded universe made by mainly myself alongside a bunch of my friends!

Emmet: Seraph/Human hybrid! He's not as in touch with his Seraph half, though. He stumbles upon some kind of device capable of shutting down whatever AI Business has as his right hand man for this, cause I'm not making GCBC the evil 1984-wannabe AI... he's originally from Avaritia, but got moved to Lumnia, Levis, under the impression that he's just an average human living his life as a construction guy. 

Business: Seraph that's become part Sin Demon, specifically Greed and Pride. He takes the role of Alistair Crane in the AU, as the leader of HEAT and by extension Levis. It's a huge coincidence that he fits the role so well! Lived in Avaritia, Levis, before moving to the sector that's 99% HEAT stuff. It doesn't have a name, it's just... where HEAT is. 

Lucy: Kinetic w/ royal gases! Evgekinesis! Takes the role of Uta Toma in the AU, the leader of Statis. Statis is an underground group of Kinetics and Hybrids and other non-”normal” human races working to rebel against HEAT and all the bullshit going on. The main base is a club called The Glowstick, where at night on weekends they all meet up there instead of the usual club stuff. She's been stuck in Envidia, Levis, all her life. 

Benny: A Nebula! Probably a fae, since they're more convincingly human-looking. He chills around the Glowstick a lot lately, having lost a bunch of his Stardust as well as his fellow Nebulae from his family in an incident that lead to him crashing out of Asteros and into Levis. 

Metalbeard: A cybernetically-enhanced pirate from Deisi, the various islands scattered throughout Vathquo, the oceans of Gaia. He helps out at the Glowstick alongside the others.

Bruce: A Magi that mainly just uses magic to more easily uphold the differences between his civilian and vigilante identities. His Familiar is a bat whose human form is Alfred. He's from Avaritia, Levis. 

Robin: A young kinetic that was orphaned by some HEAT stuff that went way too far due to his family and sibling being part of Statis. He's got Isorkinesis, control over balance! 

Uni: A Vesel/Unicorn Cabali hybrid. She's from Tanglewood / "Silvaos" (in Gaian) but has been a beacon of hope to others in Ira for as long as she can remember. Of course, that doesn't last... 

Vitruvius: An Ethereal medium that's powerful enough to see through time, as well as heightening his senses enough to be able to comfortably move around without his vision. 

GCBC: An ISPD officer with DID. They're currently stuck upholding Business's bullshit bigoted laws, but after all that mess is over they move onto be a private investigator for the international wing of the ISPD. They’re a Changeling!

What’s the Death Train Au about?

Hello Anon! ο(=•ω＜=)ρ⌒☆ I'm going to be making a post about ddIngo and ddEmmet soon, in response to an anon that asked quite a while ago. Originally, I was going to write that before this one, but the ddAU needs a *lot* of explaining, and I want to word it properly. While they were not the ones who first inspired the AU, ddIngo is actually quite important in the formation of this AU. It came out of a need to, well, punish him for how he was treating ddEmmet, and a way for him to realize just how wrong his line of thought concerning his twin was.

The Royal AU, Oemmet and Yingo's spin off, actually first inspired the idea of reincarnation for the twins when something happened to them in their AUs. Ingo's 'spiritual misbehavior' which leads to his rebirth as Yingo solely so he can be with his twin again is what launched the idea of this.

However, ddIngo is far more in need of an intervention than Yingo who broke some rules but absolutely did it for love, and to stop Emmet from being lonely and brokenhearted.

So the basic idea behind the Death Train AU is this. A special, space and time bending train that runs through the cosmos is the destination where all Emmet/Ingo or Kudari/Nobori pairs go when they die. Ones that had a good relationship or sought each other out can meet again. Ones that lost their way are dealt with accordingly - they are either isolated to think on their actions, or they face who they hurt. Other things can happen, depending on the severity of the behavior, but I'll probably cover that in the ddAU post.

On this train, importantly, is a special set of the twins. We've been calling them divinity Ingo and Emmet (or divIngo and divEmmet), as they are omniscient and seemingly omnipotent. Alternate names could possibly be cosmic Ingo and Emmet or deity Ingo and Emmet. They are guardians of the reincarnations of the other Emmets and Ingos, and are there to guide them and ensure reunions and meetings happen accordingly. Most of the time, they will interact with the opposite twin, so a trouble making Ingo will meet with divEmmet, and vice versa. We haven't really finalized a specific look for them (but in my head I kind of think of Amaterasu from the game Okami), but they can have images of another Emmet or Ingo overlay them to help get their point across.

Sometimes, the train passes itself, allowing a peek at another set of twins interacting, and ones that have been isolated from each other for whatever reason can sometimes spot each other this way. The train cars themselves do not actually follow any particular physics and can adapt for the particular needs (Mermmet, for example, can swim through the air as if he were still in the water). Ingo and Emmet take the form that is most comfortable for them - Mermmet always returns to being a mermaid, even though he usually gets turned human when he reincarnates, for example. However, Creature Ingo tends to stay human. There are restaurant cars in case any reuniting pairs want to 'eat,' even though it's not necessary no matter how long they stay there.

The AUs that have been interacting so far are the ddAU (ddIngo and ddEmmet), Normal AU (a completely normal universe where not even Hisui happens), Mermmet AU, and a brief cameo from Unicorn AU (they have to check in on occasion, because they are now immortal as long as certain conditions are met). Holy crap you just so many ideas, thank you!!! Well I actually have a few things. But first here is pony nimbasa trio!

Both of the twins are unicorns while Elesa is a pegasus, my pokequestria au is set in gen 4 of mlp so characters interact, and being in this universe pokemon aren't existent but other creatures do.

As someone who is basically a pegasister, (it's a term for a mlp fan), I can tell you exactly how the twins can conduct trains in equestria. Based on lore Unicorns have the gift of magic, and in the show we meet a set of unicorn twins (they end up being antagonists but later seasons they do change) while they use their magic to power their machines. But trains do exist in the mlp universe, powered by engine and pulled by earth pony. I'd like to think that the trains the twins conduct are powered by a spell, or maybe a jolt of magic. So yes, they use their horns, even as ponies they are also still able to do their point and call but I will possibly draw that at another time.

Now for a pokemon legends arceus pony ingo I actually do have a sketch of him.

The one with out I made last night, now circling back to pokemon not existing in this au, I did want to add creatures that could be kinda companions to them. Like how in pla, ingo has Gliscor, who is just a big bat so I gave him a little vampire bat.

The eeveelution idea did give me a few ideas but I'm gonna need some time to work on that until then.
