Don’t ever play dress up with your wife. Now I’m here taking selfies while She’s taking bbc in the other room. At least She will let me clean Her up after. I’ve been good this week 😜

Frank almost convinced himself that Christine was the one. Or, rather, she convinced him she was. She was perfect. Smart, funny, looked good, liked the limelight, didn’t shy away from the cameras, smiled when the cameras focused on her touching up her make-up in the stands during a match. She liked to play the part of a sassy, independant woman, who had the last word in the relationship. She was perfect for the role. The Husband and The Wife. He could roll his eyes and joke about her nagging, typical woman, he’s had enough of it. And she could gossip to her friends about how she was actually the one to wear the pants in the relationship, of course, it’s always the woman who is in charge.
The Husband and The Wife. The passive aggressiveness between them for the laughs, just like a sitcom from the 1980s.

Saw a TicTac video that said “when she wants a man to pin her down by her wrists, be rough, and take control. It’s because her personality is so dominant that her secret is being submissive.” And I feel attacked.

When a colleague you actually like, and you know had to shed a lot of structurally oppressive thinking to become her own person says that this is the reason she likes Ayn Rand. :/

It really pains me to see this incredibly intelligent woman, time after time, disregard her own talents and aspirations, for the sake of the structures and ideas that we are studying how to dismantle. She looks like she loves being a mother, and I'm sure she's amazing at it. But seeing her turn down opportunities for doing work in an unequal household, just hurts. Hearing her speak on womanhood, despite all the feminist theory we've read, sometimes sounds like she finds herself to be a lesser person than men. I just hope she recognizes her own personhood, and by extension her right to the life she deserves
