Unofficial Bluey Timeline: Part VIII

Backpackers - Episode 36

Bluey and the gang pretend to be bags.

Debuts and Details:

Bandit and Chilli are revealed to be occasional backpackers for trips, including one for India, as noted by their photo next to the Taj Mahal.

For this episode, a new upright model for Socks was created for the Backpacker game. The main difference is found in the size difference of Socks' head between models. This looks similar to the current model of Socks post-season 2 but with slight design differences.

Bananas are equivalent to 6k in Dollarbucks.

The backyard porch from "Horsey Ride" is seen once again, after several episodes of not being present.

Jeremy the Gnome (the Blue and Yellow one) has a casualty, and gets repaired by the end.

Despite the fact that Socks has the passports before they empty the backpacks, Muffin is the one who drops them.

Bluey and Chloe play Princesses.

Debuts and Details:

Both Bluey and Chloe exchange practically all the roles, except Bluey exclusively plays the Kindly Queen, and Chloe exclusively plays the Grandma Fairy.

Bluey breaks Universal Rule #1 when she says "Hurray" while playing as the horse.

King Kong is canon in Bluey.

Both Bentley and Zara are seen with Calypso, despite being in Mrs. Retriever's. This isn't the last time this will happen, and I don't get why.

Favorite Part: When Chloe catches the tennis ball with her mouth. So real-life dog.

Copycat - Episode 38

Debuts and Details:

It is briefly mentioned that the Olympics exist in the Bluey verse

We see some new background characters in the vet (including the vet), with one recurring character being the Surfer lady from "The Beach"

This is the first confirmed death of the show, coming from a budgie

tbh, I don't get why we haven't seen cats in this show yet.

Favorite Part: When Bluey inadvertently copies her dad while re-enacting the budgie event.

The Sleepover - Episode 39

Muffin skipped a sleep.

Debuts and Details:

Muffin had recently found out that Coconuts have water in them.

Bluey and Bingo play as wife and husband respectively (for the first time), while Muffin tags on as "Sheila".

The chip shop Bandit runs has a star on its sign, likely being a reference to a Michelin Star, an award reserved for the highest quality food and restaurants.

Chilli briefly shows her job as Airport security when she plays as the police.

The selfie photo in the kids' room briefly changes to a new version of the photo, but only partially cut off-screen. (It doesn't become a permanent change until season 3).

Early Baby - Episode 40

Rusty steals a baby.

Debuts and Details:

The BBC-distributed versions recolor the hospital crosses to purple instead of red, likely to avoid confusion with the real-life Red Cross.

Indy is revealed to have a sister, the only mention of this sibling so far. It's also good to note that just like in "Calypso", her baby's name is "Polly" (It's the same name in the next ep, although all 3 episodes have different doll representations of "Polly", which only begs the question on the name's significance to Indy).

Rusty misspells "Hospital" as "Hostible", a flub by the voice actor that was kept in.

Favorite Part: Snickers moving past the screen the first time. "Rawh"

~ Chapter 1 -Forest and imagination ~

All the inhabitants of the Moominvalley were asleep. The night was warmth. So warm that not even the wind chilled anyone. Nobody knew that about a few kilometers from the Valley, a tall person was walking calmly, who had never been a guest in the Moominvalley before. The person had a brown hooded overcoat and maroon boots. She walked bouncing from one foot to the other, whistling and humming tunes.

She closed her eyes and began to imagine things. Once a knight, once a princess or gardener, sometimes a dragon and sometimes something uncreated. Sometimes she also brought her to different places. It could be anything or nothing. It could be anywhere or nowhere. It was up to her.

Suddenly she felt she had hit something. «Right, you didn't have to walk with your eyes closed!» she thought mad at herself and angry that something had interrupted her, her very very important job. When she opened her eyes, she saw nothing. She looked at different sides and saw a purple "wall". «What?» As she turned her eyes up, she saw a dark purple face with yellow eyes and a big nose. The creature focused its eyes on the girl.

The Groke.

"Good... Evening..?" Greeted quietly to a figure that was probably 30cm larger than her.

The Groke looked at her, and then at the lamp held in her paw. She was clearly interested in light. «How about that...» girl thought noticing it. She had the idea that maybe from liked the light so she handed over the light to the character. The Groke started looking at her from different sides. She took it and stared at Its; Her eyes was glowing like two bars of gold. She hugged the lamp, walked away saying something incomprehensible, and leaving an icy trail behind her. She seemed to be happy about her new thing.

"Well" girl whispered. " It was quite... A traumatic experience..."

She pulled the hood over her head and continued on her way. She listened to the melodies played by leaves and grasses. Listened to their stories and imagined them. In her family home, girl was often shouted at for still having her head in the clouds. She read a lot of books, often went to the woods and visited various corners of the town where she lived. But that wasn't enough for her. She wanted to see more. Live more. And most of all, find people who understand it.

Suddenly she saw a light. It was not the Groke's light because she went the other way. It looked like light from a house window. Very high house «Maybe I'll look there tomorrow?» she thought and decided to light a fire and pitch a tent because she was very tired plus did not want to wake the house's inhabitants.

At first she went for sticks and stones for the fire. She capsized several times along the way, but luckily she didn't hurt herself. When she returned to her camp, she made a fire and lighted it. It got busy quickly. She put up the tent and sat on a log next to it.

"Hmm..I think it will be better tomorrow" She whispered. "Maybe there will be some nice people in that house?"

She sat for a while longer and thought, until decided to go to sleep. Put out the fire a little and went to the tent. As lay under the blanket, millions of dreams hovered over her head. She was the only real thing among them. But she didn't feel lonely. There was a forest with her. Her best friend since childhood. The only friend she had.

"Good night, forest." She whispered. "Tomorrow I will return from my land and I will play with you..."

After that she fall asleep
