#Ask me anything #Okay so I had many reasons for it to happen #1) Gabe’s over protectiveness which doesn’t end well in canon either #2) it shows what person Ángel is: he doesn’t bite around the bush and tells what he thinks directly #it doesn’t work like this all the time since he’s not really honest with his Dad when it comes to his mother #but that’s the topic for the next chapter #3) they’re friends yet they’re very different and sure thing they’re supposed to have conflicts minor or serious ones #4) Ángel also mentions Frida saying that she would never lie to him (and to Gabe)#which makes it ironic for readers since we all know that she did lie to him when she wrote that letter #Ángel still doesn’t know about it but he will #There’s a whole storyline for it so it won’t seem ridiculous like it happened years ago how can Ángel even remember it #That’s kinda it #And I also wanted Ángel to be sassy lol #And basically this is not a white-black conflict so pls don’t judge Ángel for what he said only because you like Gabe more #(for obvious reason)
