The fact that Harry Styles never sued the charlatan Anna Todd over assassinating his character in her "After" novels is mind boggling.

Styles was 19 when the After 1D fanfictions started blowing up, and in the biggest band on the planet. Maybe he was trying to retain his "cool, charming guy" image, play it for laughs, I dunno

But if an adult was using my likeness in her novel, writing me as an emotionally, physically abusive asshole with serious anger management issues, I'd be very unhappy. To say the least!

I have this really weird vibe that Beastly with Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer inspired the After series. There’s this scene towards the end of the movie that very much sounds like Tess and Hardin. As well as some of the general vibes. Like the random dad who ODs and the boarding school campus. The arguing between them. Him being the bad boy with “tattoos”. An overall twisted love story. Them getting together and breaking up only to get together again. Her not being the one he was initially after and not even really being the one he wanted halfway through. It sorta fixed plot hole and issues within their relationship. Like I just have this funny funny feeling that it’s not so much a coincidence.
