wang dohee was born on october 8th, 2002 to a korean mother and korean father. her mother, wang rina (born 1973) is a volunteer worker for homeless shelters around seoul. her father, wang eungyeol (born 1970) is a software engineer currently working in seoul, south korea.

dohee was born in seoul, south korea as the first child in her family. the pregnancy was very rough for her mother, so despite wanting to have more children, dohee remained an only child. only having one child to focus on, dohee became very close with her parents. she considered them her best friends all throughout her school years and was always happy to come home to them at the end of the day. when dohee had to move out to become a trainee, she was very homesick and missed her parents so much even though she would still see them every weekend and they were not even an hour away.

when dohee was two years old, her family moved to boston, usa. they lived there until dohee turned eleven, as her parents were worried about her deteriorating korean skills. dohee excelled at her korean secondary school, being especially good at the sciences and maths, her arts grades were also superb. dohee graduated two years early, skipping both her sixth and ninth grade years. dohee had trouble making friends and experienced some bullying in secondary school due to many issues. because of this, her parents wanted her to explore some of her interests outside of school, thus leading to her joining a local dance crew in january 2014.

FACTS !!

dohee became a trainee in august of 2017.

she used to be able to speak better english than korean but since moving back, that has changed.

her parents can speak english well, but dohee is better.

after moving back to korea, dohee struggled to make friends and had some bullying issues. so, her parents wanted her to explore her interests outside of school, thus allowing her to join a local dance crew in january 2014.

this dance crew entered lots of competitions where dohee could compete in group routines and as a soloist. this also gave her the chance to try out many different styles of dance.

at one of their competitions in july 2017, dohee was scouted by a bighit employee for her hiphop solo.

her favorite styles of dance are hiphop and modern.

dohee is also quite flexible, but she rarely shows off her skills.

dohee is ambidextrous.

she is musically gifted/a musical genius; having perfect pitch, the ability to sight read, and being able to play many different instruments.

her best instrument is piano, but she is getting better at the flute.

dohee was diagnosed with autism and ocd when she was four years old after her parents grew concerned about some behavioral patterns.

she does not have any medication for her autism. she has a medication for her ocd which she takes daily.

due to her neurodivergence, dohee has a near photographic memory. she can remember almost any song she’s ever heard, even if it’s for the first time, she can remember any face or name of any person she’s ever met, she is also great with naming movies and tv shows based off of theme songs, casts, quotes, screenshots, etc.

because of her dance background and partly because of her autism, dohee has an insane ability of always being on time while dancing/singing. if a song starts randomly in the middle, she can pick up the choreography and lyrics instantly.

her reaction time is also wild!! (like that one video of yeonjun dancing immediately after song starts)

also due to her autism, dohee is a very fast talker. it is natural for her; she’s been like this since she was learning how to talk.

with this ability, she was able to become a very skilled rapper.

4. pretty elevator girl (kinda half written)

"hey, kai kamal huening, get back here!"

yeonjun's loud voice booms around the first floor as he chases after the maknae who stole his bag and dashed around the area. beomgyu and taehyun join the fun, throwing the bag around while the second oldest chases after his belongings, failing to grab his stuff from the ever-energetic maknae line.

soobin sighs in exasperation as he turns away from the sight and massages his temple before he turns to the oldest, muttering. "it's too early to deal with this mess."

hyunseol chuckles with a shake of her head as she adjusts her hold on a paper bag filled with fresh takeout. "they need to let out of that energy somehow, soobin-ah. we're lucky they decided to pester yeonjun, instead of us."

"i can never understand how they're so hyper at this time."

the oldest shrugs, placing her left hand under the paper bag. "perks of being part of the maknae line, i guess." she then looks at the lobby to see the receptionist busy with her work on the company computer. "you guys can go ahead, i'll just bring this paper bag over to mrs. yoon."

soobin nods as he follows their manager to the elevator before hyunseol walks over to the lobby with a huge grin over her lips. "hello, mrs. yoon. good morning!"

the middle-aged woman looks up from her computer and returns the idol's smile, adoring the energy the big hit idol possesses. "good morning to you too, seol. considering the energy you have today, i take that you have a good night sleep?"

hyunseol could nod, her grin impossibly getting wider. mrs. yoon always comments that if the idol was a dog, her tail always would be aggressively wagging every time the 5'11 foot girl greets her. the receptionist giggles, unable to resist the cuteness of txt's oldest.

hyunseol is known for being a huge sweetheart in big hit and now that txt's company is now joined into one huge company, she is determined to meet every staff there is in hybe. it makes her look cuter than ever before in mrs. yoon's perspective.

"good morning, mrs. yoon!" hyunseol's ears perk up at the incoming voice and turns around to see a beautiful woman running up to the lobby. their eyes meet for a moment before the idol forces herself to look away as she tries her best to keep her heartbeats at bay.

the interaction doesn't go unnoticed by the receptionist's observant eyes, but decides to remain oblivious. getting in an awkward situation isn't what she wants for these two women's first impressions of each other.

smiling with a slight bow, mrs. yoon greets while noticing the 5'7 ft woman's stare on the bighit idol. "good morning, yunjin. what brings you here?"

the trainee blinks and looks at the receptionist, scratching her nape. "uhm, i was going to ask if you could help me find my practice room again, mrs. yoon."

hyunseol slowly steps away from the conversation and grabs her phone when she felt the device vibrate in her pocket.

she bites her lip and muffles a giggle, shaking her head at her members' chaotic tendencies before shoving her phone back in her pocket. she then meets mrs. yoon's eyes, takes a few steps back, and says, "i'll see you around, mrs. yoon!"

the receptionist motions the idol to come back. "wait, honey. what floor is your practice room?"

"uh, on third floor. why?" hyunseol could sense where this conversation is going. please, please, god no.

"could you escort yunjin to her practice room? she's on the same floor as yours. her room is c-225."

hyunseol shrugs and shoves her hands inside the pocket of her jacket. "that's a few doors down from ours, so i guess i could escort her there."

"y-you don't have to, i can-"

"yunjin, let her. your practice room is near hers, so it's better if you'll let this kind woman escort you. that way, i know you arrive in the practice room." the txt member notices a mischief in the way the receptionist talked and meets mrs. yoon's eyes to see the latter smirking. the idol's eyes widen with her eyebrows, wordlessly asking the middle-aged woman a question and the receptionist's smirk gets wider, making hyunseol roll her eyes.

"i guess..." yunjin thinks to herself, unable to meet the stranger's eyes. why do you like to see me suffer, mrs. yoon? especially when you know i'm gay?

"are you ready to go, yunjin-ssi?" the trainee nods, not trusting her voice to speak and walks beside the tall stranger, heading to the elevator.

the receptionist then watches the two women walk away and gently slaps herself on the cheek. "you really are evil, yoon. i can't believe you just get those two together."

the pair then enters the elevator and the idol pushes the floor 3 button, the air between them beginning to be suffocating. hyunseol decides to break the silence despite not knowing if her action will make things between them more awkward.

"hey, sorry about mrs. yoon. she tends to be so persuading sometimes."

"it's okay, it's my fault for forgetting the room number of the practice room. i still haven't get used to this huge building despite being a trainee under hybe for 2 years." yunjin gently shakes her head and slowly looks up from the ground, her nose getting a hold of a perfume smell inside the elevator.

she turns her head a bit to the tall woman's direction and looks away once she confirmed her suspicions. so the smell was coming from the tall woman. she smells like jasmine.

hyunseol turns her head and looks at the woman beside her, her eyes filling up with an explicable glint in them. "wait, you're a trainee? what's your sub-company?"

"source music."

"oh, i see." hyunseol raises a brow and throws the woman a look before nodding as the elevator doors open, revealing the third floor hallway. "it's the same company gfriend sunbae was in, right?"

"yeah. you know, i'm still bummed out that they disbanded", yunjin shares as she and the tall girl walk out of the tight canopy with the latter leading the way.

"it looks like we're on the same boat. gfriend sunbae could have a potential, but it's a shame source music didn't promote them better." the pair then arrives in front of the practice room and hyunseol turns to the trainee with a small smile, her eyes meeting the latter's.

"and here we are. looks i'll be seeing you around, yunjin-ssi. good luck on your training, have a great day."

"y-yeah, y-you too."

yunjin could only nod as the fear keeps holding her back from asking the tall girl's name. the latter bows and the trainee eagerly returns the gesture before she watches the 5'11 foot woman walk away from her, unknowingly got her heart stolen by the stranger whose name is still unknown.

4:00 p.m.

yunjin sits on the couch settled in the practice room, resting her body. the practicing hours have just ended and she is the only one in the room.

i lied to her. i'm not a trainee anymore. i should've told her i'm going to debut, ugh. is this why i didn't get her name?

(no, yunjin. you're too busy ogling at hyunseol.)

her members, gosh. she feels weird calling those other five girls that term. her members already left and she decided to get left behind to clear her mind about earlier's encounter with the tall beautiful woman.

she sighs with a ruffle of her hair and grabs her phone, hoping to rant her experience in her private account.

pure friendship (happy 23!).

hanjae groans when he's awaken by his phone ringing. who in their right mind is calling him at one in the morning? and when he actually gets to sleep for once? he almost considers throwing his phone across the room, but he only answers it once he saw who was calling him.

when he reaches over for his phone, he answers it with much distaste for the person on the other line. "hello?"

"why so grumpy? it's your birthday".

if hanjae could punch baek minjun through his phone, trust and believe, he would at this very moment. "you called me at one in the morning to wish me a happy birthday?"

minjun snickers on the other line. "what? mad i didn't call an hour earlier?"

"i'm mad that your calling me at one am to wish me a happy birthday!" hanjae whisper-yells, being careful not to wake up eyri (his cat) because it was difficult to get her to sleep. "do you know how long it'll take me to go back to sleep?"

"if i called you later in the morning you'd still get pissed at me".

"..well— yeah".

"happy twenty-three!" minjun tells him, and hanjae winces, lightly lowering his phone to rub his ear, he can hear minjun whine from the other line, because he knows about how hanjae acts by now. "your almost halfway to fifty".

"don't remind me" hanjae groans as he runs his hand through his hair, listening to his cat purr beside him. he hears minjun laugh on the other line, and then raises an eyebrow, suddenly curious.

"you seem way too excited to be calling me at one in the morning".

"well.. luca and i did make a bet" he comments, and hanjae sighs, covering his face with his hands. minjun laughs once again, already knowing how frustrated hanjae is with him. "and i knew he didn't have the balls to actually wake up at one am to wish you a happy birthday, so i saw it as an easy fifty dollars".

"is that it?"

"i just also wanted to wish you a happy birthday! can i not do that?"

"no, you cannot, good night minjun".

"really? that fast?"

"yes, that fast, good night".

hanjae swears he can hear minjun's pout when he hangs up the phone call, but all of that goes away when he lays back down onto his bed. he lightly snickers at minjun's actions before stuffing his face into his pillow.

what an idiot..

Miyeong's Dorm Room

[Dorm Room]

After TXT moved into their second dorm, Miyeong was Yeonjun’s roommate. Originally she was supposed to have the biggest room with balcony but instead she put her bunnies in it. By 2023 the group has solo rooms. Miyeong has a room that is split into two and separated by full walls. The boys complained that she basically has two rooms and a balcony, but the company didn’t listen. The room that she uses for herself is pretty small and only holds her bed and a desk.

{Bunny Room + Balcony}

The second and clearly bigger room is for her bunnies. She has changed the room and the balcony into a bunny heaven. At first the boys were making fun of it, but Miyeong says that now they often visit the bunnies and play with them. They have 25 square meters of space, and the balcony has been equipped with a floor of real grass as well. Many interviewers have questioned why she has her bunnies in the dorm with her (even before they moved) but she isn’t ashamed of it and is just happy to have happy bunnies close to her.
