Thinking about TDG again. That one scene where kid Yohan was watching his classmates play rock paper scissors and copying their gestures all by himself from afar was utterly HEARTBREAKING and uncalled for and fuck that priest dude for saying that was one of the reasons he was weird and a monster or whatever, like my boy just wanted to play with other kids.

Like sure, the kid killed a bird and started a civil war in his class, but in his defense, the bird thing was a quick reflex, that girl was panicking way too much for him to not act on whim and as for the civil was, they totally had it coming, shouldn't have alienated my little guy.

Some of y'all need to rewatch Calamity again because I'm getting tried of rewatching y'all trying to manifest an Asmodeus' redemption arch or rewrite his role/story in this. He is not an ally to the mortals or even to the prime deities. He quite literally doing a "the enemy of my enemy is my ally" play right now to ensure his survival.

Also, some of y'all very clearly just want him to be the good guy and misunderstood so your bad takes about the prime deities have more validity. But that's never going to happen because he is not an actually ally

New suicide squad is fucking horrible yet again (surprise, surprise). No shade specifically on Maines because she could be doing it worse (see anything TT has done w Waller & the squad) but her Waller and everything dc has done with the character the past few years makes me want to bash my head in. Also love how they changed Waller's origin to be exactly opposite to what it was before in a really major way

i really love your lbfad posts, You really Get the characters. I'm so fond of the mortal arc in particular because it shows the characters being able to goof off and have some silly fun. It's wild but I once saw someone get through the entire mortal arc of the show and somehow come to the conclusion dfqc is just awful and abusive? Truly bizzare takes on the wider internet.

I think one of the first things I saw outside tumblr about the show was a decent review that I was enjoying reading up until the point when the author just started in on how terrible and annoying Xiao Lanhua was and how she only watched the show in spite of her and I was just ??????? like at the end of the day we are all entitled to our own opinions and feelings but there's a lot of opinions and feelings I do not agree with <3 to put it nicely <3
