Finished my Kirsten inspired tote today.
The fabric came from Spoonflower and was designed by starsandfield aka Jessica Quirk of Quirk Studio Kirsten Project fame (I would link but her website seems to be on vacation).
I loved loved loved the Stoney Clover colab but was priced out of those items so I’ve been dreaming of a diy. The fabric wasn’t inexpensive so I waited for the 20% off sale and then purchased the fabric. It really is excellent in both quality and design but fyi, the basic cotton would not be suitable for doll clothes as it’s too hefty…yet perfect for a tote!
I embellished with a mini wooden spoon and amber heart pendant in honor of our favorite Swedish girl. You’ll note my model is still cut hair silver eye Kirsten whom I’m terribly smitten with.

Honestly Stoney Clover Lane is super cute and all, but has absolutely no business being that expensive. But I think what sucks the most is that, if you have any other taste than farmhouse chic barely beige Rae Dunn you’re SOL finding things your personal style that are actually affordable. Your home should be an authentic and inspiring environment and not some dull minimalistic soul sucking hellscape.
