So it’s well known that in each season of TMNT 2012 there was a running gag where each season the Turtles would watch a cartoon show that would often foreshadow the future events of the episode.
Each cartoon show per season was a spoof of a classic old school cartoon:
Spaceheroes — Star Trek
Super Robo Mecha Force Five — Voltron
Crognard The Barbarian — He-Man
Chris Bradford’s 2 Ruff Crew — Mister T
But what I consider a crime is that they never did a spoof of magical girl animes. Imagine we had one more season where the Turtles got into a cartoon similar to Sailor Moon XD

Posted 🐺💥👣📼 @superrobot74 . TMNT VHS Here is something different, I thought I’d share some prop work. These are packaging, labels and stickers for the different VHS tapes laying around the Tmnt lair. Every tape was specific to its show run era that we were copying. The Super-Robo show was designed by @riekoga_ as it’s an authentic anime! The Bradford designs are @irineos_instacrap_doodles and the space Heroes TNG were done by @glenmurakami . I remember making that family home entertainment style video box art for a white clamshell for SuperRobot but I think the rest were laid out by @tomservo84 . There are lots of laughs here with some of these titles. We were always inspired by wacky packages trading cards. When the series ended I had actually pitched a show called “Mikey’s Cartoon Calvacade” where every week you would get a mix of the shows they watched and it would cut back to the actual Cg turtles commenting, it would have been like watching tv with the turtles. I don’t think that was ever taken seriously at all, but I would have loved that for a long time. That would be absolutely true until their respective love for Space Heroes and Jupiter Jim comes to light.
Suddenly they’re bonding over comics and dramatically shouting out one liners. This is when ‘12 Raph and Rise! Donnie start plotting their demises (and low key bonding because of it).
And one day the others turtles can’t find their blue banded brothers because they absolutely dipped to go to a comic convention together.

Just wrote some more for that one Magical Girls/Omori AU charismabee and I came up with. Sweetheart's just realised she likes girls (and fought the object of her affections with a mace), Spaceboy's just realised he likes guys (and monologued dramatically about it in a dungeon), the Unbread Twins just destroyed a sprout mole with a crowbar (he used the now-awful kitchen in SWH's castle to make a cake out of dirt and ping pong balls), and Kim is so supportive of Aubrey that she joined a magical girls fanclub (which Aubrey is only a part of because Mari is its founder).
