My latest post on AO3 is not a fic but an overview of labor statistics for Call the Midwife Series 1-12. You can get a quick look at the mums, birth locations, if it was on screen, nurses/doctors present, baby number and gender, and any other medical notes. I still think crimson peak is the weakest gdt movie

#there's just something about the protagonist that *gesticulates vaguely*#it was so boring to experience what was happening through her perspective #those sibling were deeply fucked up i would have preferred if the focus was on them #'the style of gothic romance' how is this still talked about as a romance the guy was fucking his sister the entire time #and t*m h*ddleston was already so tiresome by 2015 #as for romanticism... i still can't relate to the protagonist again for that to pop out the focus should have changed to lucille #i didn't even remember the characters names i really don't like this movie #idk its the cheating that doesn't do it for me... there's something missing like why would he betray lucille for edith...#the setting is fire though like i said edith is the problem

Set during season 8

Julienne was trying desperately to listen to what it was that Nurse Anderson was saying, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. The height between each step seemed to be changing and even the furnace-like heat couldn’t explain the way the stairwell seemed to be rushing towards her. She’d been hanging onto the railing and counting down the floors since they’d started their descent but had lost track somewhere and wasn’t sure if they had six or sixteen floors left to go.

“I’m sorry,” she said, the words surprising her as much as the fact that she was suddenly sitting down, her legs folded awkwardly beneath her.
