Ok my personal list of suggestions for Willow:
Zuhri/yya, looks human, magical blood, connected to treasures (Moroccan)
En-Naddāha, beautiful feminine water spirit with an enchanting voice (Egyptian)
(Banu) Si'lat, shapeshifters that usually appear feminine, kind of succubus-like, Banu Si'lat are specifically half-human half-Si'lat offsprings (Arabic)
Qareen, 'accompanying spirit', maybe not Willow themself but something weird is def going on with their mirror (Islam)
Hmm, okay... we've considered the first two, but not the other ones.
I guess being only half-human would make it harder to identify what they are...? What I'm reading about the si'lat is that some sources say they're the most malicious kind of jinn, but others say they're just kind of tricksters, and I guess I'd describe Willow as a trickster?
It looks like the Quareen is "a jinn who acts as a person's spiritual double and may influence them to do evil." Woah, spooky

Heya Kat!
Do you think Mannish Boy counts as an agent of DIO?
I just find it really funny that he hired(?) a baby that just so happened to be fanged, evil + smart. I wonder what the other agents reactions would be to having a baby as a coworker.
hey ash !  that's a good question and if i'm honest i've never really thought about that too much ;w;'  i did some flipping thru the manga recently, so i got a bit carried away and accidentally went overboard with some theories before i reread your ask and realized you didn't ask where he came from, so this post is a bit long.... sorry 'bout that (´▽`")
Tumblr media
mannish boy is an anomaly in my mind ; he just shows up near a well in a saudi arabian village with no trace of his parents whatsoever since the woman that discovered him reveals she isn't his mother... WHERE DID THE BABY COME FROM.
Tumblr media
i had to do a reread to see if baby stando even mentioned DIO at all or if encountering death 13 was just a random encounter on the way to egypt, and now i'm even more puzzled on what to think about him. he mentions 'his allies' and that he heard 'they (the crusaders) were hard to deal with' but never once mentions DIO.
Tumblr media
i have a couple theories about mannish boy, some are a bit far fetched, but this is as good a time as ever to bring them up. he's the son of an unnamed / unlisted agent ;   this is the most logical answer i can think of, especially with how widespread DIO's agents/followers are (i.e. mansaku nijimura in japan and enrico pucci in america) DIO has obviously travelled, so i wouldn't doubt for a second that there could be even more of his agents and followers, especially in countries closer to egypt. he's a banu si'lat  (half human, half jinn) ;   you'll have to forgive me for being a bit vague with this answer, as i'm not muslim myself nor do i know much about islam and it's associated folklore, but i have a bit of a suspicion that something not entirely human is going on with mannish boy. i had a friend explain jinns to me ages ago, and with a bit of research i stumbled upon what's called a banu si'lat, or children of a human and a si'lat (easiestly described as a type of jinn, i don't want to turn this post into an essay ^^'), which can apparently seduce and are able to procreate with humans, so perhaps that could be what's going on. he's a victim of sethan's de-aging ;   this is a MASSIVE reach and a bit shitpost-y, but think about it for a sec... why else would an eleven month old have such control over his stand, know how dangerous scoprions are plus how to kill them, not to mention the smoking? it's super unlikely, especially because of how sethan reverts a stand back to it's childhood state as well. if mannish boy really is a de-aged adult, i doubt he would've had such wicked awesome control over his stand as a literal baby, but it's fun to think about. would i consider mannish boy an agent of dio? i'm a bit on the fence to be honest with you; i wanna say yes because he's canonically classified as an agent, but also no because he's a literal baby... but who knows! perhaps DIO really did just inexplicably hire a baby which is infinitely funnier than any possible scenario and i can't see any of the agents taking him or their eleven month old 'coworker' seriously.

You are being lied to. He is making stuff up.
Good evening, my name is Master Adam Sir in the Kink and BDSM scene. I have been involved in the kink scene for for over 20 years. starting in Kansas City then moving to Los Angeles and currently in Phoenix. I have never been accused of being an abuser. Yes, I have former slaves who don't want to talk to me like Temprace and Phillabuster but u don't believe they would call me abusive. I took our break up badly and acted foolishly. I don't belueve my former slaves Lynx or Si'lat would say that I am abusive. I don't believe my long time slave Dracomancer would say I was abusive.
U have always ben one to advocate believing those who claim to be a victim. Today I have to step out of that mind set. my slave Ukai (Dylan or Kane... he uses so many different names) has accused me of abuse.
I want to say clearly and emphatically I did not abuse Dylan. Every thing that we did was clearly negotiated. I do not even have a punishments in my dynamics beyond making them write standards.
Sadly, those who know I was not abusive to Ukai refuse to speak up. While privately they say they don't belueve him they are not will to expose themselves.
I remember when this community was about honor and integrity. Today I fear. to many innocent Dominants are gettimg the short staff in a culture that wants to believe the submissive/slave.
I am being falsely accused by Ukai-Dylan-Kane of abuse.
I ask you this... why has Ukai (Dylan/Kane) accused so many people of abuse? He has accused all 3 of his former Dominants of being abusive and has accused a fellow submissive play partner of abuse! At one pount one has to ask are all these people abusive or us Kane/Ukai/Dylan just being manipulative and crying wolf for sympathy.

The Si'lat is a djinni in Arabian folklore. With a name that translates as "treacherous spirit of invariable form," or simply "hag," they are talented shapeshifters, but most often appear as a human female. They are said to be the most dangerous class of djinn.
The Si'lat are said to live in desolate parts of the desert, where they lead travellers to their deaths. Some have been said to seduce men and give birth to half-djinni children.

Ooooooh nice, Black’s Myth is getting a continuation!
The 2021 series Black's Myth introduced fans to the werewolf private investigator Janie Jones 'Strummer' Mercado and her djinn assistant Ben Si'lat, and the response has been positive enough that a second Black's Myth series is underway.
"Our first story belonged to Strummer and Ben, but we called the book Black's Myth for a reason, and we have so much more of Rainsford Black's story to reveal," Black's Myth writer/co-creator Eric Palicki tells Newsarama. "What compels him to hunt (and collect) monsters, and what kind of case could possibly bring Strummer back into his orbit? Volume 2 promises answers, along with the return of everyone's favorite Minotaur."
Black's Myth was created by Palicki and artist Wendell Cavalcanti, and ran as a five-issue series from AHOY Comics in 2021. After the inaugural story's investigation of the use of silver bullets in supernatural murders, Strummer and Si'lat are hired to find the abducted son of the aforementioned monster hunter Rainsford Black, who has gone missing while searching for a 17th-century grimoire said to allow the holder to summon demons.

Black’s Myth #1
Tumblr media
Black’s Myth #1 Ahoy Comics 2021 Written by Eric Palicki Illustrated by Wendell Cavalcanti Lettered by Rob Steen    Meet Janie "Strummer" Jones, just an ordinary werewolf PI, trying to make it on the mean streets of LA. When the case of a lifetime falls into her lap, it's up to her and her charming djinn assistant Ben Si'lat to figure out just how many silver bullets have been used, and just where do silver bullets come from anyway?    One of the things I do is I avoid reading about a book before it comes out so that when I do read it I’m surprise and thrilled by its premise and execution.  It is also why I try to avoid talking about events that occur in the books I review and what you to be excited about picking something up based on the talent and execution of it.  So I had no idea what this was about before reading it, heck I didn’t even know this was a black & white book which is  something i’ve come to appreciate more and more over time.  The opening page is a splash page and I think we just don’t see enough of those in comics anymore when once upon a time they seemed to the staple when you opened up an issue.  It grabs the readers attention and makes you want to see more.    I really like the way that this is being told.  The story & plot development that we see through how the sequence of events unfold as well as how the reader learns information is presented exceptionally well.  The character development we se through the narration, the dialogue, the character interaction and how they act and react to the situations and circumstance that they encounter is presented impeccably well.  The pacing is superb and as it takes us through the pages revealing the story, introducing the characters and this world they inhabit we’re drawn deeper and deeper into the proceedings.    I appreciate how we see this being structured and how the layers within the story emerge and start to grow.  The layers are where we see the characterisation, the plot twists and other bits of sundry parts taking place.  Whether these work with the main arc or simply swirl around it they add this great depth and complexity to the story giving it more gravitas.  How we see everything working together to create the story’s ebb & flow as well as how it moves the story forward is achieved extremely well.    I am very much enjoying the interiors here.  The linework is strong, clean and crisp and how the varying eights and techniques that we see being utilised to create the detail work is exceptional work.  We see a fair bit of backgrounds being utilised here, though there could always be more, and how they enhance the moments as well as work within the composition of the panels to bring us depth perception, a sense of scale and the overall sense of size and scope to the story is really nice to see.  The utilisation of the page layouts and how we see the angles and perspective in the panels show an extremely talented eye for storytelling.      This is a very interesting first issue and as we learn about the main characters and the mystery surrounding the events of this issue it’s fairly easy to see why she’s being targeted.  She is definitely not one to be trifled with however, neither is he for that matter, and she’s a lot tougher and meaner than we initially suspect.  A supernatural P.I. who has an equally supernaturally based partner, his preference in the other kind partner is up in the air right now, working out of L.A. seems like a match made in heaven right?  Well it’s still much too early tell but if this issue is any indication it definitely has its moments.     With smart, witty writing and great characterisation alongside some strong and dynamic interiors Ahoy Comics has yet another hit on their hands.

Saljūqiyān-i Rûm
In the mid-1070s, Süleyman I successfully wrested control of Anatolia from the Byzantine rule of the Holy Roman Empire. Allowing the Greek-Byzantine populous to remain, under Seljuk Turk governance, he established the it as The Seljuk Sultanate of Rome. Though under Turko-Persian Sunni Muslim rulership, archeological & historical evidence indicates Jewish & Christian communities there were not only tolerated not only tolerated there prior to the onset of Crusader conquests beginning in 1096, but thrived. Süleyman's son Kilij Arslan I inherited his father's Sultanate in 1092.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In 1096, infamous Crusader Monk 'Peter the Hermit' & his Lieutenant 'Walter the Penniless' led their notorious "People's Crusade" (estimated to have been anywhere between 30,000-60,000 strong) on a march of anti-semetic & anti-saracen slaughter & forced conversion from Germany to Constantinople, until they reached Saljūqiyān-i Rûm.
After crossing the Bosporus Strait from Byzantine Constantinople into Anatolia, the People's Crusade bagan making their way toward the nearby Saljūqiyān-i Rûm capital at Nicaea. On 21 October 1096, Kilij Arslan - only 17 at the time - met the People's Crusade army (estimated to have been had a remaining force - due to desertion & deaths from poor provisioning & sickness - of roughly 20,000) on the road to Nicaea with his own waiting army. The 17 year old Sultan not only effective repelled this initial attempted invasion into Muslim-held Anatolia, but he effectively crushed the "People's Crusade". It's historically noted those combatants who surrendered were spared if they agreed to convert to Islam (a requirement put in place only because the Christian Crusade invasion had been perpetrated specifically in the name of Religious Holy War). Women, children, elderly & infirm who had marched with the People's Crusade were also expressly spared; they were granted leave to either return to Europe or to remain and be granted amnesty. The rest of the invading force were slaughtered. Of the presumed 20,000 who marched against the Turkish capital, only an estimated 3,000 or so escaped and/or voluntarily returned to Byzantine Constantinople.
The charismatic leader of this zealous movement turned out to have been notably conspicuously absent from his army's devastating defeat, having briefly returned to Constantinople to resupply shortly prior to his Lieutenant leading the failed march against Nicaea. Upon hearing his forces had been wiped out in his absence, the Crusader Monk fled back to Western Europe to rebuild his religious following & resume his campaign against non-Christians a couple of years later.

Parī (Peri) & Si'lat
Two classes of jinn from Persian lore, often considered relatively "benevolent" races of jinn in Turkish & Iranian Muslim Tradition.
Peri/Parī are most recognizable in their physical description as being winged, with a wide reputation for benevolent guidance & intercession on behalf of hunans.
Si'lat are frequently referenced in their natural form as somewhat resembling a greyhound lower body with a human upper body, but are noted to possess the ability to shape-shift & adopt human a human appearance. They're frequently credited with having knowledge surpassing that of humans. They're often mentioned in much folklore to have a fairly open-minded view regarding humans, however, being known to shape-shift into human form & live among them. They often insert themselves into human dilemmas, trying - because of their superior intelligence - to fix matters (to admittedly varying success).
*Sanctuary in the Desert Kingdom*
In the context of the 'Cursed'-verse and canon references to the possibility of the Desert Kingdoms as a considered destination for the Fey Refugees in Britain to seek asylum, the Turko-Persian historical reputation for religious tolerance might correlate to a hopeful assumption that the Muslim held region was likely to also be more tolerant of the Fey, as well as offer potential allies against their common Crusader & Vatican enemy.
*Djinn as Turko-Persian Fey Folk*
Still viewed in much Islamic folklore to be outright benevolent or largely non-malevolent classes of Djinn with a traditional reputation for a positive or open-minded view of humans & stories of attempts to intercede on their behalf, Peri & Si'lat are among the most likely regional "Fey" clans to have sought to render aid to innocent & displaced victims of the Crusades, regardless of species. Noted by folklore to also have been among the most intelligent of the Djinn, they are also two of the Clans most likely to have possessed alchemic, scientific, technical & medicinal skills with which to assist in treating wounded or defending against siege, as well as the willingness to share that knowledge with those in need.

Working With Djinn
Excerpts from  Spirited Enterprise
“Djinn are magical beings. Whereas most mortals were formed from earth mixed with other elements, Djinn were formed from smoke and fire. In the distant past, the different tribes of Djinn had a lot of interaction with mortals.
The world of the Djinn is an independent and separate world with its own distinct nature and features that are hidden from the world of humans. Djinn and humans have things in common, such as the ability to understand and choose between good and evil. The ability to bear children and have spouses. They can be royalty or a celebrity just as easily as a common Djinn.”
Information slightly varying from the original article - provided by own Djinn companion will appear like such
There are separate races of Djinn which also break into smaller subdivisions. The respective races are; Marid, Si'lat, Jann, I’frit, Hinn, Ghul, and Shaitan.
“In some cultures, djinn are not denoted by tribe, but rather by the color of their skin. Those colors include: Blue, Yellow, Green, Black and Red.”
The Djinn realm has basic civilization, they build impeccable dwellings with lavish furnishings, harness energy, and have a sustainable agriculture. Most trades deal with either craftsmanship, farming, education, or entertainment. Technology however is not nearly as advanced as it is in the mortal realm. Those not able to fly or manifest across far distances travel by foot or by equine-like Hinn. We communicate by magic or parcel. And entertainment is live.
The Marid (Blue) are the highest class, and most wealthy. Jann (Red) are usually guardians of the Marid and the Si’lat (Yellow) and I’frit (Black) would be considered what mortals call working-class. Hinn (Green) are generally animals, though Ghul hybrids are also common. These hybrids are more intelligent than a standard Hinn and more benevolent than the regular Ghul who are lower-level dwellers along with the malicious Shaitan. (both Ghuls and Shaitan vary in color)
“There are also celestial djinn - those which reside within or close to the heavenly realms. Those djinn are also separated by tribes.”
These Djinn are considered divine and are often referred to as White Djinn.
“Long before our time, the great Djinn sheikh Al Yazid had a vision of a giant scythe splitting a great Djinni in half. In order to survive, Al Yazid told the Djinn tribes that they must all choose to side with mortals, or against them.
Since that time, however, the race of Djinn has evolved.
There were members of each tribe that disagreed with the decisions made by the elders. Members of the Shaitan, Ifrit, and Ghul decided that humans were not as bad as they once thought and therefore, formed sub-tribes befriending humans along the way.
There were those in the Jann and Marid tribes that also disagreed, left and formed sub-tribes vowing to go against humans whenever possible.
Tribe no longer dictates whether a Djinn is good or evil as Djinn are creatures of free will.
However, the one thing that has not changed is the immense power these beings behold.
Having a Djinn companion is very little, if at all, like the movies portray.
The one part of the fairy tale that is true is that these powerful beings were once held prisoner in lamps. Over the many years, this too has changed.
Way back when, the ONLY people allowed to have Djinn in their possession were the rich and powerful. If a commoner was suspected to have a Djinn vessel, a literal army was sent out to kill the beholder and capture the vessel.
After years of brutal murders, conjurers got smart, they began turning everyday pieces of jewelry into vessels for Djinn. It was easier to carry, easier to hide, and easier to deny that a simple stone housed such a powerful entity.
It is still possible for an exceptional individual to bind a Djinn to an object of focus today. However, this is both difficult and dangerous. Its extremely difficult to tell if the Djinn is good or evil until after they have already been summoned.”
Djinn seeking human companionship already will be much easier to conjure, though it is always best to question their intention and prepare for the possibility of having to banish a malevolent being. Also a Djinn strong enough will not need to remain bound to a vessel to visit you the mortal realm if an astral connection can be made - this is preferable so the Djinn may come and go or be summoned as they may have families and responsibilities in their own realm. This is standard for humane spirit-keeping to begin with.  However always bind a Djinn to a vessel first - to determine their motives. If a Djinn refuses this precaution it is a good sign they are not benevolent.
“Once the Djinn is bound, everyone’s experience is different.
Some Djinn will communicate with their human companions through various thought forms…In dreams, visions, strong feelings, intuition, etc. Some people may actually hear whispers or find themselves knowing things without knowing how they know them. As you grow more comfortable with the various communication methods, so will they.”
Many Djinn also prefer companions who possess the ability to astral travel to communicate.
“Some people may get to see their Djinn in human form. But this is a rare occurrence and should not automatically be expected. Most likely, you will see them in dreams, as misty manifestations, orbs, streaks of light, or even haze. Remember, they are invisible to humans and will only make themselves known when they are ready…for some, this time is never.
You will however, have tangible evidence that they are present. A Djinn’s presence does not often go unnoticed and one can sense when they are around.
How your wishes come true, depends on the circumstances.”
The different races of Djinn correspond with particular mortal desires.
Marid are associated with Wealth and Power.
Si’lat are impressive shape-shifters associated with Magic
Jann are very large and powerful Djinn associated with Strength and War
I’frits are sensual beings associated with Love and Sex
Hinn are animal-like Djinn associated with general companionship and Loyalty
The Ghul are un-dead Djinn associated with Death and Vengeance.
And finally the Shaitan are most always malevolent in nature.
“There are so many ways a Djinn can manifest your dreams, making them a reality. But keep in mind, if you think that these things are going to happen with no work on your part, then you are mistaken.
Having a Djinn is not a novelty. They enjoy companionship and conversation. Although not human, they deserve respect.
Treat them well and you shall reap the rewards.”
