I wonder if the group of transwomen who came in and complimented my hair will know that I'm going to lie awake thinking about that for the whole night. And wait ever single day to see them again so I can honestly thank them. Its hard being open and out here, the fear of hate gets to me a lot. The genuine compliment from people like me just hit so hard. Her voice was like mine and I'm just happy I can be like them too.
