There was nothing tragic about Inuyasha and Kikyo relationship. I'm sorry but explain to me how it was?

Red Flags of their relationships

🚩 they didn't trust each other at all. All that time they spent together and they still didn't trust each other.

🚩 Naraku even called inuyasha out and asked him why was the trust between was so easily destroyed and inuyasha couldn't even give an answer or excuse. Just standing there looking speechless because for once Naraku was right.

🚩 Kikyo didn't even love inuyasha for the way he was. The moment inuyasha told her he would become human for her, she cut him off saying "Stop that's all I need to hear." She didn't let the man confess his feelings but him being a human was enough for her to drop her panties???? Yeah no.

🚩 Inuyasha and Kikyo love was based on loneliness. They were both lonely and the love they had came from that.

🚩 Oh for fuck sakes Kikyo sister Kaede told Kikyo what the hell the bandit told her and Kikyo brushed that shit off and not only was that fucking stupid. She didn't put two and two together when she got attack??? Yeah no.

🚩 Kikyo was dead for so many years and you telling me while she was in the underworld that she never knew the truth about her death? So nobody in heaven told her? It ain't making sense.

🚩 Kikyo when she got injured, had a flash back on what inuyasha told her about being human for her and believing him. So she was so happy about him being human for her.... yeah no. She didn't even hear him say I love you because She cut him off from finishing his sentence.

🚩 if inuyasha did become human and so did kikyo then everyone would have found out and all the demons who hated kikyo would have massacred the whole damn village. Like she didn't think that through.... kikyo was making income from slaying demons. She was being selfish because kikyo believe she couldn't multi-task. You can be in love and be a priestess kikyo.

🚩 Kikyo wanted to hide their relationship Because she feared rejection from her peers. Like girl you had more privileges than inuyasha did.

Their love story is tragic because their relationship had no type of trust, no real love, and all honesty it wouldn't worked at all. That is what made it tragic because it was doom from the start.

So for those unaware, Goo Ranking recently did a poll to try to determine the most popular anime characters of anime from the past 20 years! And in the Inuyasha side of things, we got representation in Kikyou and Sesshomaru! The only two Inuyasha related characters to make the list!

Yeah, I almost forgot this anime journal... I'm also a big fan of Kikyo, I love her soooo much... Kikyo is sooooo pretty and she looks perfect to every Inuyasha and Hanyou no Yashahime male characters. I dunno why~ She's shippable.. I think ehehe!! Oh my god, I remember when MidoKirin ( Midoriko and Kirinmaru) still didn't exist, I used to ship Kirinmaru and Kikyo or what they call KirinKyo hahaha!!.. I think they're also cute together.. or maybe I can consider Kikyo as Kirinmaru's second wife if ever... I'm so sorry haha 😆😆😆😅...

Kikyou! <333 You know who really loved Kikyou, though? The animation team. I feel like especially in The Final Act, any time Kikyou was on screen the animation quality leapt up. All her frames are beautiful and given their due time. (The pacing of the first part of Final Act was absolutely bonkers but even in the need to tell 999999 chapters of story in 26 episodes, Kikyou got her due, story unfolding with control, breath, slowness in ways that usually do not happen when you only have 24 minutes per episode.) Truly, I have never seen any other character so lovingly rendered . Haters stay mad, we got the MEDIUM ITSELF on our side. 😂 💅

You could not watch an Inuyasha AMV without her being in it because the camera loved her!!! The animation team was doing it For Her! Kikyou trying to drag Inuyasha to hell was one of the most well done scenes in the original and there was a lot of competition, just from other Kikyou scenes! (Her first fight with Kagura for instance!!!)

And YES! The way they handled her story in Final Act was KOOKY for 26 episodes and a huge cast. Her death scene alone was so well animated and given gravity. Which is also insane considering how even the opening looked like they had been working up to the wire and still hadn't finished yet.

Happy 2023, everyone! I haven’t been active here in a long time, but I want to start the new year sharing some SessKik love💕

When you really think about it...Kikyo real personality came forward when she came back to life. She wasn't like she was before because she hid her emotions, and refused to acknowledge them. Now imagine IF inuyasha and kikyo stayed together IF he became human than their relationship won't ever work. Neither one of them had friends to help them out whenever they had fights or needed advice. Kikyo didn't have friends neither did Inuyasha. Plus the only person who knew their relationship behind close doors was 8 year old Kaede. So...... 😐😐😐😐😐

So add this to the list of why their relationship was doom from the start.
