「巫女」:: The girl blinked as he led her down the hallway and into a room where a clearly unconscious blonde boy was lying. She looked from Zack back to the one he called Cloud, and then back again. She popped her lips a bit.::

. "Yeah, sure, I'll look after him~ No problem...But one question: And I don't know if you've been asked this before--but--twin brother?"

. ::Okay, yeah, it wasn't an important question, and if she actually knew everything about Zack, she'd know that Cloud was certainly not a twin brother of his--but she didn't, and they looked very similar.

. Then she thought again...::

. "ONE more question actually--before you answer that one...What happened? It'll be easier for me to care for him if I know, you know?"

"Well----" He smiled sheepishly.

It was no easy task he had in mind to give to her, nor would he blame her if she decided that it was beyond her capabilities of seeing it through. He just felt like... he had to ask. He would never know unless he did.

Zack motioned to her, stepping down a hallway he had grown accustomed to walking, back outside. Turning a corner, he turned to face what appeared to be an unconscious male. Or maybe just... caught in some sort of trance?

"This is my friend Cloud. Can you... can you look after him for me?"

outoftomorrow: . So, yeah---Finished the latest chapter....Not that many will care this time--since I got it late (not blaming anyone by the way! I know stuff happens, just saying) and the licensed-asshats-who-shall-not-be-named obviously got it out before me this time. outoftomorrow: . You're welcome~! There's a new chapter for Mao tomorrow too! Eheh. . Anyway~ Yeah. I am still translating the HNY manga. At present it's up to chapter 31, if people are still kind enough, I should be getting the chapter 32 raws either tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday. . You can find the chapters at relatively the same place you can read my Mao~ Linked up in my feed on Ko-fi. You may have to scroll for a bit--but all of HNY's translations are there. However, chapter 1 and Chapter 2 are listed in Chapter 3's comments under tinyurl links, because I started the ko-fi page with Chapter 3, and later the horrid shall-not-be-named 'licensed' group ransacked my blogs, so I had to link them separately. JUST in case you wanna go through it all again because you dunno where you left off. Happens to me a lot. xD

「巫女」:: To be fair, the miko was just doing what she normally did...As well as speaking truth. She really did believe in him, and really did believe he'd get through this. He was that kind of person. She smiled at him when he thanked her...Twice.::

. "No need to thank me, Zeck-san, it's true. You will get through this, and I do believe in you."

. ::She repeated her earlier statement as if to drive the point home. Some things didn't need saying, and it was true that sometimes it was just nice to hear them all the same--but she said them because she actually believed it, and thought he needed to hear it. Though, she canted her head to one side as he asked her to do him a favor, and even though it really depended on what the favor was--she didn't hesitate to reply::

. "Sure, what do you need?"

. ::If it'd help get him through this, she'd be open to doing just about anything. And she was certain that it wasn't anything she wouldn't do, so she left the offer completely open-ended. Trust was important. Especially now, and the fact that he trusted her enough to ask a favor said a lot. Meant a lot too. She just hoped it was something she could accomplish...Though, she was also sure it was. Why worry?::

Zack turned to face her, his mouth unhinged and hanging open, a look of joy crossing his features. If only because that was the nicest thing he'd heard spoken to him in a long time!

"Thank you, Kagome. I..." He rubbed the back of his head. "I really appreciate that!"

Sometimes people forgot how vitally important it was to communicate to others feelings and emotions. How they felt about particular situations. How they viewed the world. Any number of different things. It was so easy to go about the mundane, that people began to take for granted the little things that went by without acknowledgement. Maybe that was why there always seemed to be such strong reactions when someone did pause and express thoughts like Kagome did for him, as simple as they were!

There were some things that went without saying, and yet, still, sometimes the words were nice to hear regardless.

For one moment, he didn't have to be miraculous. He could pause, break down, vent, take that reprieve from what struggle he endured, if only to take a second for himself.

"Thanks." He repeated, head bowed. "Can you do me a favor?"
