palestinian embroidery obi project
The collective works with Palestinian women (refugees and those living in Gaza) to create tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) for Japanese obis (wide sash/belt). They also participate in cross cultural initiatives such as embroidery workshops and exhibitions.

本日も着物。6月ですが雨で陽光もないので、家だし大伯母の茶箱の羽織でも着てみようかと。
I'm wearing kimono also today. And I try to wear one of "haori" in the tealeaves storage of my grandant, because it's raining and a little bit cold today.
膝まである銘仙の長羽織。
縫い糸が古くなっていて、ビリっと行ったところを縫直し。
いやぁ柄on柄なのに、合うのが不思議な大正風。。。
This is a long type of haori having a knee length. I had swen some points as sewing yarns were too old and broken. This may be close to the Taisho Modern style (the early of 20th).
なおこの銘仙、パイナップル柄ですの🍍
And, this haori is ananas design!

zoro is breton, but born from a japanese mother (as in canon his mother is from wano and dad from a random village in east blue, well now hes from a random village in bretagne dw about it)

i had to fight the urge to put sanji in a dirndle
