Paper bats and orange streamers littered the walls; plastic pumpkins filled with candy adorned every table. Cutout ghosts hung from the ceilings, swaying gently from the movement of students below. Snack bars were placed in every room, attracting students with brightly colored candies, apples, and drinks.
Whoever was in charge of decorating did a damn good job for such little notice. The student council president had been known to make short notice arrangements from time to time, and now had been no different.
Hyakkaou Academy was hosting a Halloween party, allowing for friendly no stakes gambling.
Gambling with candies instead of money meant house pets were on equal terms with their peers for one night, allowing for convenient practice before returning to the grueling pet system.
The halls were packed with students, the apparent rise in temperature from having so many people in a small area suffocated Sayaka as she forced her way through the crowds in search of the president. Squeezing passed two students, Sayaka finally reached the main room for candied gambling. The secretary had resigned herself to overseeing the main room when she realized the president wouldn’t be showing up anytime soon.
Whoever decided that replacing the normal betting chips with candies would be in for a mouthful later as crumbs covered the floor and chocolate stains were beginning to show on the pristine card tables.
‘Who would be irrational enough to make THIS choice for alternative playing chips?’
Sayaka stood in thought as she stood at the edge of the small balcony and surveyed the mass of students downstairs. Most everyone was dressed up as various creatures i.e. zombies, vampires, werewolves, etc. Yumeko was playing a form of blackjack near the center of the room, wearing a devil costume that would make a sailor blush. Such a getup would have shown way too much skin for her personal comfort as Sayaka imagined herself in her place. Mary Saotome was gambling against Itsuki while dressed as a…scarecrow?
‘Maybe it’s because her hair is already the color of straw..’ Sayaka thought to herself.
However she was in no place to pass judgement, Sayaka had picked out a werewolf werewolf costume which mostly consisted of her school uniform, with fake ears and a tail. Sayaka had drawn whiskers on her cheeks. Plastic fangs sat uncomfortably in her mouth, fumbling around anytime Sayaka tried to speak. She was quickly torn away from her thoughts as someone beckoned to her.
“Oh ~Sayaka!” Yumeko called out, “please be a dear and come watch our game.”
“Be right there!”
While she would have preferred to stay on the balcony, Sayaka knew it was fruitless to argue with Yumeko, especially when she was in the heat of gambling.
Sayaka had made it to their table. “Oh, how cute! You’re dressed as a cat!!” Yumeko held her hands up like cat ears, “Can you meow for me?”
Sayaka’s face flushed.
“I’m not a cat, I’m supposed to be a werewolf.” Sayaka huffed, looking away to hide her annoyance.
It was already embarrassing enough to be dressed in anything but her normal school uniform but to have attention purposely drawn to her by the most popular girl at school was almost too much.
“Aww, that’s too bad. I think you would look adorable as a cat, but you’re still cute as a werewolf!” Yumeko happily chimed before resuming the game.
Sayaka didn’t respond to the comment and tried to calm her heartbeat. She didn’t have to look to know that Yumeko was undoubtedly winning by a landslide. The visible crater of veins in the forehead of Yumeko’s opponent’s head was enough to deduce that he had not won a single game tonight.
Sayaka would feel bad for him if she didn’t know challenging Yumeko to any game would lead to an automatic loss.
After they had completed the match, Sayaka helped clear the table off for the next game, working methodically to make sure no candy crumbs would become smashed into the carpet.
Sayaka had started back up the stairs after resetting multiple tables and making sure students had access to various types of games which didn’t require her supervision while she would be gone.
Midari could be heard in the distance attempting to get somebody to play Russian roulette with her. Thankfully it appeared nobody but Midari was looking for any life threatening thrills tonight.
As she made her way back up to the balcony, Sayaka wondered where the president could possibly be as she was supposed to be in charge of overseeing the night’s events.
‘Maybe she’s gone back to the student council room, everything out here seems to be well under control so it’s likely that she just isn’t feeling entertained enough at the moment.’
Sayaka made her way through the main lobby of the school, making a B-line for the student council room as she was eager to ensure the president was alright.
As she entered the hallway leading to the council room the lights briefly flickered threatening to go out but ceasing as they remained steady in the ceilings. Sayaka took note to inform the school janitor about the issue when she bumped into him later. Sayaka reached the entrance to the student council room.
Turning to shut the door behind her, Sayaka didn’t have time to survey the room before the lights snapped off again. This time they did not come back on.
“Oh you have got to be kid-” Sayaka couldn’t finish her sentence before an arm quickly pulled her further inside. Unable to rid herself of the person dragging her, Sayaka opened her mouth to scream.
“Not a word.” A hushed voice whispered, clamping a hand over Sayaka’s mouth. A candle sat in the back of the room, emitting just enough light for Sayaka to see the perpetrator’s silhouette. Whoever was dragging her further into the room didn’t seem to be dressed up for the festivities. Panic set into Sayaka at the thought that a stranger from the outside had managed to get into the council room.
It was dark enough that she could quickly escape back into the main halls of the school and call for help if she could get just an arm’s length away from her captor. Sayaka had been a part of martial arts and track clubs growing up and would be able to outpace most of her other peers given the chance.
Unable to say anything, Sayaka struggled against the other person in an attempt to free herself, pushing into the other person in an attempt to knock them over. The grip on her arms tightened as the figure righted themselves with a grunt before Sayaka found herself shoved into a wall.
“Do that again and you’ll have other problems to worry about.” the figure whispered against Sayaka’s ear.
Giving into her temporary defeat, Sayaka relaxed, allowing the cloaked stranger to lead her further into the room.
The lights in the room flicked on and Sayaka found her face beginning to flush as she realized who she was being dragged by.
“President! What are you doing here? You’re supposed to be overseeing the party.”
Kirari continued dragging Sayaka further into the room to where a set of previously blocked off doors sat. “I’m aware. I was waiting to see how long it would take for you to come find me. I understand you have a knack for wanting to make sure everything runs smoothly even if it means managing the situation yourself.”
“I was just-” “ I want to get your opinion on this. You know how these doors lead to nowhere for no apparent reason? Do you think they could actually lead somewhere, maybe a secret room hidden behind the walls?”
Sayaka worked her jaw in thought, taken aback by the sudden onslaught of questions from the president, who was feeling the wall behind the faux doorway.
“I’m not sure why they would lead to a secret room to begin with, the student council room is already locked off from non-members to begin with so there is no reason to have yet another set of secrets.” Sayaka only received a blank stare in response, urging her to continue. “However, depending on how old the building is and if it held any other organizations before us, it couldn’t be completely ruled out to have a secret room somewhere.”
The dull thud of drywall hitting the floor sounded in Sayaka’s ears.
“P-president! What on earth are you doing?!”
“What?” Kirari brushed off her uniform and stood looking proudly at Sayaka. “I took what you said and gambled on it being a secret room! Well that and the fact that the drywall sounded completely hollow when I knocked on it.”
Sayaka glanced back to the fist sized hole which until now was shielded by the thin material.
“I think it would be best to leave this for now, your presence may soon be requested from the rest of the council..” Sayaka trailed off, disappearing for a moment to retrieve the first aid kit leaving the president to sweep up the mess.
Kirari hummed before closing the doors.
As they started their walk back into the bustling hallways, Sayaka worked up the courage to ask about the president’s lack of costume.
“President, how come you aren’t wearing a costume? Everyone else is dressed up.”
Kirari wrapped an arm around Sayaka, pulling her head close enough to speak directly into Sayaka’s ears. Sayaka blushed from the sudden warmth engulfing her. “Good question, maybe I wanted to spark people’s intrigue by not dressing up, or maybe I wanted you to pick out a costume for me.” Kirari whispered. Sayaka flushed, grabbing Kirari’s arm in an attempt to keep herself there to hide the burning redness in her cheeks.
Sayaka felt a hand gently tugging the fake ears on her head.
“Maybe we could match.” Kirari grinned.
“P-president! This isn’t appropriate, I can find you a set of ears if you would like to match! I-“
A hand stopped Sayaka from continuing. Her eyes refused to make contact with Kirari’s as she felt the cheap Halloween ears being lifted away. She doubly refused to acknowledge the president’s face now, as she knew a smug grin would be waiting to see her reaction to the president clad in fake werewolf ears.
She refused to acknowledge the smirk. She refused to get lost in those eyes which ran deeper than the ocean itself. She refused to allow herself to drown. No, not tonight, another day.

I should also mention the better half of this chapter (aka the first half) was written last October, so the writing style may have a noticeable change. My apologies if it’s a bit wordy dirty in the beginning because of it!

Hi!, I saw your requests were open, If it’s okay maybe kirari’s secret girlfriend/wife coming to the school and everyone reacting to how similar or different they are?
Not So Different
Kirari Momobami x She/Her Reader
A/N: There is something special about a character who seems nice but can actually be pretty scary. I like it. Anyway, here you go, I hope you like it! Word Count: 2,513
The student population was abuzz after the student council president, Momobami Kirari, gracefully slid out of the glossy black car she arrived in every morning, but this time, with a catch. She held her hand back out to the open car door, and to the surprise of those who cared enough to pay attention, a hand emerged to grasp it.
Another girl slid out of the leather car seat behind Kirari and even after the chauffeur closed the door and returned to his seat to drive away, the girl’s hand remained with Kirari’s as they walked towards the school gates. Though she was wearing the school’s uniform, no one recognized the girl at all. A new student perhaps? And already in the claws of the president, poor thing.
“Good morning, President!” Sayaka greeted her at the front gate as she did every morning, then with less enthusiasm and a smidge of bitterness, she greeted the other girl as well, “Good morning, (Y/n). Welcome to Hyakkaou.”
“Thank you, Sayaka. Good to see you again.” (Y/n) smiled earnestly.
Of course Sayaka seemed to know what was going on. Though Kirari had a vexing mysteriousness about her, no one was more suited, nor dedicated enough to chip her way through than Sayaka. Though even she would say she only knew the tip of the iceberg when it came to Kirari. Although she did know a lot more than the average person, including the fact that Kirari had been betrothed to (Y/n) before either of them had even been born, something about dangerous business deals and complicated Bami Clan traditions for the family head.
Until recently, it was forbidden for the arranged couple to even be seen together in public until the Honebami family had disposed of all the threats. This would be the joining of two very important and influential families after all. Many contracts and a stupid amount of money was hedging on this union.
Now with all possible usurpers and hired guns sinking to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, the couple was given more freedom to do as they pleased which Kirari promptly took advantage of by helping (Y/n) transfer to Hyakkaou.
“President, I have tea warming in the student council room should you like a cup before the morning meeting begins.”
Kirari hummed thoughtfully, tilting her head towards (Y/n), “Would you care to come for tea, my dear? At the very least it would be a good way to meet the rest of the council.”
“Sounds good to me!” Came the chipper response.
Most of the student council was already loitering about the room doing their own thing, but seeing a new face joining the President had piqued the interest of a few members.
“Ooo, who’s this, Kirari?” Runa asked around a mouthful of cherry hard candies. She had only barely glanced up before returning her eyes to the colorful screen in front of her.
“This is my fiancée, (Y/n). She will be joining us for the remainder of our last year. It would have been preferable if we could have shared more of our school days together, but such is life.”
“Better than nothing.” (Y/n) smiled, giving Kirari’s hand a quick squeeze.
“No way, fiancée?” Yumemi gasped. “When did this happen? I’ve been so out of the loop!”
“This union was predetermined by fate and the stars before we even existed.” Kirari colorfully explained, taking her seat at the front of the table, almost dragging (Y/n) down with her, but she declined to sit in Kirari’s lap. Kirari gave a low hum of disappointment.
“It was a high stakes arranged marriage.” (Y/n) corrected. “It wasn’t safe for us to be in public together until recently. For a time, the less people who knew about it, the better.”
“Oh, okay. I know a thing or two about paparazzi myself,” Yumemi flipped her hair over her shoulder, “They just gobble relationship gossip up.”
It was a little more involved than paparazzi, but neither Kirari nor (Y/n) cared enough to get into it.
“Well, it’s good to be meeting you now.” Yuriko chimed in, fidgeting a bit nervously in her seat, “Will you be joining the council?”
“Wouldn’t that be interesting.” Kirari spoke first, “Although… there aren’t any seats open, are there? Not now that I let Sumeragi in due to her father’s generous contributions. Would you give up your spot, Yuriko?”
Yuriko flinched. Why had she opened her mouth at all?! She couldn’t lose her place on the council! Her lip wobbled and she tried to speak, but fortunately, (Y/n) saved her.
“Don’t be mean, Kirari,” she gave Yuriko a reassuring look, Don’t worry, student government isn’t my thing.”
“Oh…” Yuriko visibly relaxed in her seat, making Runa and Midari laughed.
“I’ll just come by to hang out. You guys can just pretend I’m not even here.”
“Already on it.” Kaede grumbled, clacking away at his laptop.
“Then perhaps keep your mouth closed, Manyuda. If that is truly your intent.” Kirari warned, eyeing the treasurer over the rim of her tea cup.
“Spooky, Prez!” Midari grinned, “I’ve never seen your puffy sleeves get ruffled so easily before.”
“Let’s all just simmer down.” (Y/n) took the seat between Kirari and Ririka, resting a hand on Kirari’s thigh. Kirari’s demeanor returned to normal with a single lazy blink. (Y/n) turned her attention to Ririka next.
Though Kirari had explained to her that Ririka was supposed to be the mysterious vice president until the proper time, whatever that meant, she still wanted acknowledge her soon to be sister-in-law anyway.
“Good morning.” She greeted with a quick wink.
Ririka smiled beneath her mask and gave a nod in return. Shortly after, Itsuki came running in just before the meeting was set to start. Frazzled, the girl looked for an extra chair. (Y/n) offered hers up.
“I should look around the school and find my classroom anyway.” She told Kirari, “Good luck with your schemes!”
“Schemes,” Kirari smiled, amused, “Really now?”
“Yes, schemes.” (Y/n) affirmed. She wasn’t blind to this whole house pet racket Kirari had going on, but growing up in the families that they did, she hardly batted an eye. “See you in class.”
Because of course Kirari made sure they would be in the same third year Hana class. Though Kirari would have rather her stay to help ease the boredom the meeting would surely bring, she let (Y/n) go explore.
“Are you sure you should let her just wander around? She is new…” Yuriko tentatively spoke up against her better judgment.
“Yeah, wouldn’t that be something if your girlfriend became a house pet while your back was turned?” Midari cackled and leaned back in her chair. “A nice girl like that will be sniffed out and ripped apart in no time.”
Kirari giggled resting her knuckles beneath her chin. Looking at her in just the right light, one would see a wild glint in those arctic ice eyes.
“Do you think so?” She asked.
***
“Yumeko, it was just a stupid rumor. You look like an idiot!” Mary hissed, pulling Yumeko away from the stairwell wall she was bent over, looking down for a sign of the president and her mysterious guest.
“Oh, it’s no rumor, Mary. It is one hundred percent factual that Kirari and her betrothed were recently given the green light to be in public together. It was such a big secret, that many of the family branches didn’t even know about it! Knowing Kirari, I would bet that with the restrictions lifted, she enrolled her fiancée to our school.”
“And what of it? Why do you care?” Mary crossed her arms, back stiff, annoyed that she had to follow Yumeko around all morning.
“It’s simple,” Mary swore she saw a glint of red in Yumeko’s eyes, “I want to gamble with her!”
“That’s so dumb,” Mary scoffed, but then, she reconsidered.
Actually, this could be good… If they could win a high stakes gamble against Kirari’s fiancée and make a house pet of her… that would surely get a rise out of the aloof tyrant masquerading as a student council president, right?
“You know what, count me in.”
“Yay, Mary!”
“Don’t touch me!”
“I could have sworn it was supposed to be on this floor… oh dear.”
Mary and Yumeko paused their little scuffle to stare at the girl who just passed them by. The way she checked every room placard as she walked cemented the fact that she just had to be new.
“Excuse me,” Yumeko wasted no time slipping in beside the girl, “are you lost?”
“Yes,” the girl sighed, relieved at the prospect of a helping hand, “I’m looking for the third year Hana classroom. Could you help me?”
“That’ll be easy enough,” Mary chimed in, “We’ll take you there.”
“Thank you guys so much. I’m (Y/n) by the way.”
“I’m Yumeko and this is Mary, nice to meet you!”
They shared a bit of small talk as they climbed the stairs to the third floor. When they reached the correct classroom, (Y/n) thanked them both.
“Thank you both for the escort. I’d love to give you a favor in return sometime.”
“You may be able to fill that favor in right now, actually,” Yumeko circled, finally stopping behind (Y/n) to drape her arms over her shoulders in a loose hug, “You are Kirari’s fiancée, right?”
“Yup, that’s me,” she chuckled, slipping out of Yumeko’s arms, “feels weird to get to tell people that now. Anyway, what’s the favor?”
“Mary and I want to gamble with you!”
“A gamble, with me?”
“Yes,” Mary came to stand beside Yumeko, trapping (Y/n) between them and the wall, “gambling is a big part of how this school functions. But you probably know that given whose circles you run in.” Mary tried to keep the bitterness out of her voice. Though (Y/n) seemed nice on the surface, she was still betrothed to Kirari who was by far the worst person Mary knew. (Y/n) could be just as deranged.
“Wow,” (Y/n) audibly exhaled, “an invitation already. Well, when in Rome, as the saying goes. Game of choice and stakes?”
“You’ll really do it?” Yumeko was practically foaming at the mouth, but (Y/n) didn’t bat an eye.
“Well, I have a favor to repay, don’t I?”
“Why don’t we take this to the library then.” Mary suggested.
(Y/n) soon found herself being ushered away from the classroom she had been searching for and into a library study room turned gambling den. Yumeko gave her an excited smile.
“Why don’t you pick the game, (Y/n). Then we may discuss the stakes…”
***
Sayaka had only left the student council room for a moment and already she had heard the most disturbing rumor. Jabami Yumeko, demon, Antichrist, what have you, had slithered up to (Y/n) like the snake she was and proposed a gamble!
Now, Sayaka’s feelings on (Y/n) had been… not so good in the past when she had first discovered the arrangement, but the girl had wormed her way into her heart, giving her the more direct praise and validation that Kirari was so stingy with. It also probably helped that she introduced Sayaka to her current therapist who in turn hooked Sayaka up with some really top tier medication.
Needless to say, the moment she heard (Y/n) and Yumeko’s name in the same sentence, she was bursting back into the student council room and falling over herself to tell Kirari.
“Really now?” Kirari rose from her chair, an easy smile spread across her blue stained lips. “This meeting can be picked up at a later date. I hope they haven’t started yet.”
“Are you going to stop them, President?” Sayaka asked hopefully.
“Oh Sayaka, of course not. I wish to observe.”
“Nyahahaha!” Runa laughed, “Alright, my interest is piqued too. Let’s see how the new girl holds against Yumeko.”
“Yumekooo!” Midari wailed, “I gotta see too!”
A majority of the council was curious and chose to follow Kirari and Sayaka through the halls, students parting like the Red Sea when they saw them coming. A frightening sight to behold. They sauntered into the library, found the correct study room, and crowded inside. Seating around the table, Yumeko had a crazed excitement about her, Mary was looking pale, and (Y/n) had her back to the new arrivals.
“Saotome is involved too? Oh, what a treat.” Kirari observed, “You couldn’t have found a better pair to test your gambling mettle against. Having fun, darling?”
(Y/n) slowly turned in her seat to look back at the invading council members and all but Kirari shuddered under her gaze and chilling smile. Apparently, (Y/n) was a pretty good match for Kirari after all. Though she seemed like a normal, easy-going girl on the surface, she could actually be quite vicious.
“Oh yeah, I’m having a great time. Yumeko and Mary put up quite a fight, but I think they are at the end of their rope.”
And sure enough, when the cards were cast to the table, (Y/n)’s were the highest possible combination, knocking both Mary and Yumeko’s out of the game.
“No…” Mary whispered, clenching her fists.
“We lost!” Yumeko’s heart was pounding, excited to hear exactly what it was she would be losing.
Before the game began, each girl had written down what they would make the others wager. Now was the moment of truth, what had (Y/n) forced Mary and Yumeko to wager.
“What have we lost, (Y/n), show us! I can’t wait another second!” Yumeko begged.
“Okayyyy,” (Y/n) peeled up a corner of the paper agonizingly slow and flipped it over. Mary and Yumeko leaned in to read, finding that they both owed… absolutely nothing. “There it is. You’re welcome. Try to mess with me like that again however, and I may not be so forgiving.”
Mary fell back against her chair, to emotionally exhausted to even feel relieved, while Yumeko slumped into her chair in disappointment.
“Well, it’s been nice meeting you, but I should to get ready for class. Kirari,” (Y/n) turned to face her, looking much more unassuming than she had a few moments ago, “walk with me?”
“Always, but let’s go somewhere more exciting.”
The couple exited the study room together, leaving everyone behind in various states of shock.
“This is where we differ most. You could have taken them for all they had and more. I don’t know exactly what Yumeko was hoping for beyond a gamble, but Mary surely wanted to take everything from you.” Kirari pondered as they walked.
“I just don’t see the appeal. I’d feel bad taking from people who didn’t know what they were getting themselves into.”
“Ah, but they should have known. You are my fiancée after all.”
“I guess you have a point.“ (Y/n) shrugged.
The couple made their way to the roof of the school and took off in Kirari’s private helicopter while rumors that the student council president and her fiancée were not as different as they initially seemed, spread. Not when it came to their gambling prowess anyway.

by En0o0o0
Hyakkaou Private Academy is made up of the children of the wealthy. Grades and athletics don’t matter in this school, since power is already guaranteed. What does matter is how well you gamble. How much you win, and how much you lose. On top of all of it is the Student Council. Hyakkaou was heaven, and the Student Council members were the closest to the president. They were the closest to God.
But was it really heaven? Or was it a paradise made out of hell? And what would happen if a wild card was mixed into the deck when it wasn’t allowed?

Fall With Me, A Kirari x Sayaka Drabble
Kirari had always been one for thrills, but this was just too far! Sayaka held her deathgrip on her seat, peeking out of the doors of the helicopter precariously.
“Madam President, are you sure that this is a good idea?” Sayaka’s voice shook, there wouldn’t be anything to catch her this time. “This seems rather dangerous.”
“Sayaka, I told you that you could stay home, but you insisted on coming.” Kirari replied, chuckling teasingly. Well, yes, that was true, but Sayaka had only agreed to come hoping to dissuade Kiari from doing anything dangerous. That’d been an idiotic notion.
“Yes Madam President, that’s true, but,” she began, peeking out of the helicopter again. “Are you sure about this?”
“Sayaka,” Kirari said gently, cupping her face in her hands “I will keep you safe, no harm will come to you, and if you die, we’ll die together.” She reassured. This shouldn’t have comforted Sayaka, but it did, she nodded slowly, melting under Kirari’s gaze. “Do you trust me Sayaka?” Kiari inquired.
“With my life.” Sayaka replied easily.
“Then fall with me.” Kiari said, grinning giddily as she took Sayaka’s hands into her own. “Fall with me, and risk death.”

Can i request something where Kirari momobami decides to gamble with her s/o the gamble being by the end of the day she has to make her s/o squeal but all attempts fail that is until she stumbles upon her gfs ticklish ribs.
Tickled
Kirari Momobami x She/Her Reader
A/N: I don’t really have anything of note to say so here you go, hope you like it : ) Word Count: 1,327
Kirari was bored. This was not an unusual occurrence for her, but something new about dealing with her boredom on this particular occasion was that she now had a girlfriend. Her boredom was now (Y/n)’s problem.
Previously it would have been Sayaka or Ririka’s burden, but after they had been informed of the newest development in the girls’ relationship they packed themselves a couple of suitcases, shook (Y/n)’s hand and then took the Momobami’s private helicopter to take a vacation somewhere tropical. If anyone deserved to fall off the radar for a spell, it was the Secretary and Vice President, for no one had to deal with Kirari’s whims more than they did. But now (Y/n) understood what Sayaka had met when she wished her good luck. Kirari was insufferable when bored.
“(Y/n), I’m bored.” Kirari told her for the third time in fifteen minutes, sighing into her cup of tea.
“And? What would you like to do about that?” (Y/n) asked, also for the third time. “If you’re so bored, surely you must have some idea of what you would rather be doing right now.”
Kirari pouted it wasn’t her job to come up with an activity, it was her job to be available for whatever activity was presented to her. She leaned back in her chair, fingers steepled before her. She regarded (Y/n) with a thoughtful expression, smiling at the expectant look her girlfriend gave her in return.
“I think I would like to gamble with you.”
An inside the box idea as far as Kirari was concerned, but (Y/n) didn’t mind.
“Okay, what game?”
Kirari hummed. (Y/n) was a dignified individual. She would like to see (Y/n) do something unusual, to see her in a different light. That might appease her boredom.
“I want to make you squeal.” She decided.
“Come again?” (Y/n) asked. Surely she had misheard.
“I want to make you squeal. “ Kirari repeated. “I will do everything in my power today to make that happen.”
“But why? What do you get if you succeed? What would I get if I don’t give you the satisfaction?”
“It is a simple wager. What I want is to see you act in a way I have not previously witnessed, that is what I will win. What would you like if I cannot achieve my goal by the end of the day?”
(Y/n) took a moment to think about it, then decided,
“If I win, I want to have a date night that doesn’t involve anything more extravagant than take-out and a movie or a couple episodes of whatever tv series catches our eye.”
Kirari was infamous for the eccentric dates she planned. Each one always had to be some grand gesture. Kirari and simple, everyday dates went together like water and oil, but (Y/n) thought it would be nice to just relax and hang out from time to time. It wouldn’t kill the girl. Though judging by the small pout and the way Kirari’s normally perfect posture slumped, Kirari thought such an activity just might kill her.
“Very well, if that is what you desire.” Then she got up from her chair and began walking out out the room, leaving a confused (Y/n) behind.
“Wait, where are you going?”
“I need to prepare. I’ll come for you when I’m ready.”
“Alright then. See you soon.”
“See you soon, my dear. Prepare to squeal for mercy.” Kirari blew her a kiss before leaving (Y/n) alone in the student council room.
“Should I be concerned?” She murmured to herself.
Hours later, Kirari took (Y/n) out of class with a curl of her finger and a cloying look. To say (Y/n) was nervous would be an understatement. Her girlfriend could be entirely unpredictable and the fact that the task she had given herself was to make (Y/n) squeal made it feel more terrifying for some reason. There were a lot of ways to make a person squeal and (Y/n) was having a hard time thinking of any pleasant ways to make someone do that.
It was already taking a bad turn when Kirari lead her into the basement level of the school where Midari and her cronies hung out. It seemed darker than usual, more frightening, like it had been decked out for a Halloween haunted house. (Y/n) kept Kirari’s hand in a death grip the whole time they walked through the hallway. There were some scares, but nothing that came out of (Y/n)’s mouth would have been considered a squeal by any means. A scream or a shout maybe, but not a squeal.
(Y/n) gave a relieved sigh when they finally exited the basement and found sunlight once more. Kirari led her to the courtyard where a carnival had seemed to have manifested from thin air. Among the attractions, a rickety rollercoaster manned by a miserable looking house pet. Of course Kirari marched her right up to him with the appropriate amount of tickets for the both of them.
(Y/n) watched the current group scream as they zoomed down the track and swallowed uncomfortably when she noticed how the rail wiggled once the coaster had passed by. Safe to say she didn’t squeal then either, too busy holding onto Kirari for dear life as they crested the highest point and then plummeted what felt like a hundred meters to their doom. She still wasn’t sure how they had managed to survive that.
Kirari’s next attempt was actually a completely different and welcomed approach. She took (Y/n) to the petting zoo portion of the pop-up carnival to see all the cute little animals. Sheep, goats, bunnies, alpaca, and sweet little ducklings. They were unbelievably cute, but again, no squeal left (Y/n)’s lips. There was a fair share of baby talk towards the animals though, if that counted for anything.
Kirari took (Y/n) to a bench next, pondering her next move as they rested.
“Giving up?” (Y/n) asked, popping a bit of cotton candy into her mouth.
“Not at all.” Kirari smiled, “the sun is still out. I have a sizable chunk of time left to achieve my goal. Though I must say you’ve been a tougher egg to crack than I would have thought.”
“Thank you.” (Y/n) puffed her chest, oddly proud of what she had accomplished thus far.
It was then that Kirari noticed the little clumps of hay and straw that clung to (Y/n)’s uniform. Not expecting much fuss, she reached out to brush her girlfriend’s jacket off, pausing when she heard her squeak.
“What are you doing?” (Y/n) asked, scooting a bit further down the bench.
“You have hay all over your uniform. I was just trying to help you brush it off.”
“Oh, I’ve got it. Thanks.” (Y/n) brushed herself off with her free hand and missed the glint of danger in Kirari’s eyes.
“A bit ticklish, are we?” She drawled, relishing in the way her girlfriend wiggled uncomfortably in her seat.
“I mean, a little I guess. Nothing special.” She tried to play it off but she knew she was already had. Before she could attempt to escape, Kirari’s hands slipped around her sides and tickled her more purposefully, making (Y/n) squawk and curl up on herself in an attempt to protect herself from Kirari’s fingers.
“Uh oh, (Y/n). I do believe I have found your weakness.” Kirari taunted, doubling down on her ministrations.
“Kirari, no,” (Y/n) giggled, moving erratically, “please have mercy!”
But Kirari was ruthless and kept tickling her until she received the sound she had been searching for all day. She finally relented, smirking down at (Y/n) as she tried to catch her breath.
“I win.”
“Congratulations.” (Y/n) rolled her eyes.
Though Kirari began to gloat about what extravagant date she would plan next, (Y/n) still felt that she herself had won in a way. A carnival date was by far the closest to a normal date they had ever been. Even if that hadn’t really been Kirari’s intention.

My daily complaint:
Why the hell didn’t the author/directors of the anime Kakeguri xx, make the president and Sayaka kiss at the end of the episode??? It was so out of place for the president to just lick her forhead. Is it because the author doesn’t want his popular anime to be labeled solely as a yuri? If it gets labeled as one, there is the possibility that it would be avoided by a larger mainstream audience. I get that, but still. The focus isn’t on their relationship so I don’t think it would be labeled as such. Why beaver dam us? I don’t get it, honestly, and i was kinda left hanging at the end.

kakegurui x reader who is very clingy (platonic but all the girls are like kinda into her) and she’s always either following Yumeko around or fiddling with one of Midari’s guns. The one shot can be when the reader geta called out for it and feels like she’s being too clingy so she tries to distance herself and all three kinda have to come together to figure out why reader is so sad? maybe an ending with protecc from the girls? Sorry for the long request!!
Once again- jesus this took forever so let me give you something good (I will try my best as per usual) and hope ya enjoy at least a little! My apologies again!
KAKEGURUI X F! READER (PLATONIC-ISH)
Tumblr media
It was almost like a stop in your life. A pause. You had never noticed you had done it everyday, were you too much? Why did nonody tell you? And more importantly....how do you stop what you don’t notice yourself doing?
You had way too many questions because some random girl had walked up to you, randomly, and out of nowhere says,
“Hey you hang around those girls a lot huh? Don’t you think you’re a little too much? I mean I’ve never actually seen you without them. Ever.” She said, and it wasn’t even menacing, which means she truly meant it. That was even worse!
And when you think about it...she was oh so right.
Everyday, you went to school with Mary who would walk you with a scowl but let you hold her hand and talk her ear off all the way there. She would always say she wasn’t listening but would bring up something you said all the time surprising you. Then Midari would be waiting for you and hand you her arm and say “Let’s go gorgeous” with this sinister grin, and you’d play with her gun on the way to your first class, and then Yumeko would come and sit on your lap in class and let you hug her and the teacher never said anything because Kirari....oh god, you were so clingy.
And just like that your mood had dropped significantly, and nobody knew why but just tried to push it off.
“Maybe she’s having a bad day.”
“Got a bad grade on her exam!”
“Ah she didn’t have a good enough lunch?”
Any excuse they could come up with they used whichever came to mind first because they didn’t want to think you were truly upset.
And they didn’t want to have to come for whoever had made their darling so upset in the first place.
Until the next day came. Mary knocked on your door and you opened it with a forced smile that Mary chose to ignore, and she held out her hand with an annoyed look on her face as per usual but this time to you it felt so real.
I guess I am way too clingy.
That was the conclusion that you had came up with in your mind as you decided to ignore her hand and instead go for a more cheerful appearance to distract from your oh-so-obvious swatting of her hand.
She still walked with you but the look on her face was different. It was more narrow and almost looked like she was judging you or something, and you wondered if you had ever seen this look before in the back of your head.
When you go to the school Midari was as per usual waiting for you gun in hand, but you politely declined the offer of holding her gun as she wrapped her arm around yours. You wuickly took it off.
“Huh? What’s up with you gorgeous? Mary say something rude again? I truly don’t understand why you don’t let me take you-
“No! No I’m uh, I’m fine! I was just having...cramps! In my fingers...yeah...they are absolutely terrible!” You said quickly with a smile. Midari grinned and rubbed your head with her gun.
“Alrighty then sweetheart, did you not want to go to class then? I can let Kirari tell your teach you won’t be there ya know” she grinned at you, with her usual amount of playfulness seeping through. You waved your hand and walked into your classroom without saying goodbye. How odd.
Midari called Yumeko outside, you thought she was probably weeping for Yumeko’s attention again and didn’t think anything of it. But oh boy were you wrong. As Yumeko sat on your lap, you took notes vigorously and tried to shift and move her off, and she must’ve gotten the hint because she did. Yumeko whispered in your ear,
“I thought your hands were cramping?” She said, and you almost jumped because you realized how badly you had screwed up.
“O-oh yeah! But I need to take notes for this class Koko, you know that.” You brushed it off and she nodded her head innocently before going back to not paying attention. Or so you thought, but she obviously saw that you lied to her. Who could get past her?
After class you and Yumeko were called to the President’s room. You walked in and saw Kirari, Midari, Yumemi, Mary, Sayaka, Yuriko, everybody. It honestly overwhelmed you because you had wanted to touch them so bad. It was how you showed love but now you were basically forcing yourself to look at the ground.
“Now now, come over here y/n, we have to talk to you.” Kirari said and you knew, you had been figured out. There was a new seat for you and Kirari to sit in so you sat by her side trying not to touch her, however her scent and basically everything about her made it difficult. Especially with her putting her arm around you and trying to make you hug her. So in the end, you basically gave up. Who were you to resist?
“Is there a reason the girls are saying you’ve been lying and avoiding them all day or do we jut have to make a public announcement to find out who’s been talking to you?” She said softly. So softly you honestly almost cried. You had basically avoided all contact with the girls and given them no explanation, you felt terrible.
“I’m sorry!! It’s just- I realized how clingy I’ve been with you all and I never even asked if you were okay with it. I’m like some leech and I’m always hanging onto you guys and it feels like I’m not doing anything but being annoying anymore.” You ranted, not trying to look any of them in the eyes but you could see their eyes soften just a little when you finally did look up with glossy eyes.
“Ok. Listen. If any of us didn’t like it we would tell you and the freaking president herself wouldn’t even let you in here- let alone get a WHOLE NEW CHAIR for you to be able to hug her on. We all enjoy it and understand that it’s how you show that you like and care for us. Friends just know moron. Who told you this because I don’t believe you came up with this ridiculous theory of sorts on your own.” Mary announced as she stood up from her seat, tired of staying quiet.
“...well...I don’t know who but, I understand. That didn’t make sense anyways huh?” You giggled and hugged Kirari, instantly brightening the mood as she wrapped her arm around your waist.
“Well we’ll need to find out who immediately, we can’t exactly let whoever it was think they know better than us can we?” Yumeko said with a smile, as the other girls nodded.
Yeah, this was how it will always be.
EL FIN.
brooo that endings trassshhh. Anyways my fingers hurt so bad because I’ve been writing (not just this) for like an hour no break my fingers are buring, anyways sorry for the TERRIBLE wait so so sorry but I hope you enjoy!
