some of you may know that our dearest @thermocrying was laid off during the 2023 wga strike. despite time and effort, it's been impossible for them to find a new job while the industry slowly gets back on its feet. scooter's unemployment benefits have expired and gig work is not sustaining them. they have a chance to attend a networking retreat put on by industry leaders, but it's three hours away from where they live and their car is not safe to drive.

for $1,600, we can make that car safe to drive and get our friend onto the next chapter of their life! the goal is set at $2,100 to cover the cost of the gofundme fees and to help secure alternative transportation while the car is in the shop.

SAAB 9-3 Viggen rally car

Saab 99 Combie Coupé, 1974. Called the "Wagon Back" in the US, the CC was 11cm longer than the regular 99, all the extra length going behind the rear wheels. There was no wagon version of the 99 so the Combie Coupé was Saab's alternative for buyers who needed extra versatility
