Momo is demonstrably spectacular at kidou. She's able to break a captain-level seal & her kyokkou outmatches captain-level reikaku (168)
& we've seen her combine multiple spells quickly in high-pressure situations (ch 334)
(There's also the instance where Momo uses kidou to escape jail. However, that's literally nothing compared to the above.)
It's reasonable to assume she's pioneered spell combinations & original spells altogether! This is the master list of the spells featured in her grimoire.
Shizumu Hebi (“sinking snake”, 沈む蛇)
Incantation: N/A
Description: a spell manifesting as a cylindrical, slithering body the length of half a meter. It captures anyone who steps on or near it, wrapping itself around the nearest appendage and sinking the captured individual down to their knee in the ground. The spell “bounces” across a 15-meter circle around Momo and multiplies every 30 seconds.
Ryuuzetsu (“dragon’s tongue”, 竜舌)
Incantation: N/A
Description: a spell turning her spit supplemented with water into a combustive liquid that lights on fire the moment it’s exposed to air.
Kijo Yubi (“witch’s finger”, 鬼女指)
Incantation: N/A
Description: a spell turning the oil on the pads of her finger into an acid. Her skin is immune from it, but it can eat through a number of materials quickly. Momo has not found anything to neutralize or wash off the acid. The spell can last up to four hours.
Kanbousu (“cold nest”, 感冒巣)
Incantation: N/A
Description: a web of kidou freezing anyone stepping inside its area. This is an incredibly dangerous spell despite its simplicity. The ice is so cold skin sticks and peels off upon contact. Frostbite sets in within minutes as well.
Shinkirou (“mirage”, 蜃気楼)
Incantation: N/A
Description: Momo spreads her reiatsu over a small area. Everything in that area is severely distorted– a cycle of kaleidoscopic imagery & static. Momo hasn’t had the opportunity to use this much, so she hasn’t figured out how to exclude her allies from her spell.
Tesso (鉄鼠, iron rat)
Incantation: N/A
Description: This spell is inspired by the legend of Raigou, a scorned priest who unleashed his vengeance as an army of rats on a rival temple after his death. This spell manifests as a mass of black rats coming out of the ground. They eat the subject, whoever or whatever that may be, by "biting off" small sections & absorbing, thus making it a self-fueling spell until their subject is gone or until Momo dispels it.

I just watched Naruto Blood Prison and I find it cruel they sent Naruto there without knowledge of the mission. 
I was a kid when I saw that movie and even back then I NEVER found that funny and found it messed up way back then.
Now? It’s just sickening that they think it would be hand-waved with Ramen.
And keep in mind this was after Naruto was supposedly “the hero of the leaf”. 😒

I don’t know how old Amaru and Ryuuzetsu are and I always thought they were around Naruto’s age but watching Blood Prison and Bonds for like the 7th time, I kinda get the impression that Amaru is younger and Ryuuzetsu is older, if only just a bit
proof through how naruto was calling him a kid (though chalk that up to him hearing her feminine voice and thinking this boy just hasn’t gone through puberty yet) and later when he’s petting amaru’s hair after confrontation with the doctor. it just felt very protective like an older brother
also Ryuuzetsu when she’s monologing to muku while using her bloodline jutsu. it souned like someone kakashi or iruka’s age talking about passing wills and the like

lmao, ‘kay, but can we talk about sp’s logic again?
here we see Kakashi’s imagination during his conversation with Obito. And I just... I can’t. Really can’t. What the heck Hinata is doing in this line in general? And standing even closer to Kakashi than Naruto, Sakura, Yamato and Sai? Where’s Rin and Sakumo? If other dead people who were dear to him are here, then WHERE THE FUCK IS RIN AND SAKUMO? There are people who, I dare swear, are closer to Kakashi than Hinata, like Genma, Aoba, Raido and even Izumo and Kotetsu, and other Kakashi’s fellows and colleagues. If I should follow this shitty logic then there must be Kiba and Shino as well. At least Kiba has something in common with Kakashi - love for dogs.
Trying to unite Kakashi and Hinata for me is like trying to unite Ringo Ameyuri (one of the previous swordsmen of the Mist) and Ryuuzetsu from the movie “Blood prison”. What’s the point of this comparison? If SP would give me provements of Kakashi and Hinata’s close relationship then maybe I’ll try to explain.
But lol, it’s more likely that SP are trying to say again “LOOK AT HOW OUR HINATA SAMA IS STANDING NEXT TO N-N-NARDO KUN, ADMIRE HER, WE’RE GONNA FORCE HER DOWN YOUR THROATS IN EVERY APPROPRIATE AND INAPPROPRIATE MOMENT”

i’m in a mood to rant about bs canon, so here we go.
As I have mentioned in this blog, the technique called Raiko: Akai Mikazuchi (aka; Red Lightning), the move that defeated Wall Eehto in the Alvarez Arc, does NOT apply in this blog.
I fucking hate it???
Honestly, the way it debuted and the reason behind it makes me so angry. Literally, all what we’ve got as the reason for obtaining such powerful technique, was a flashback of Laxus and Mavis at Ryuuzetsu Land, talking about Yuriy. While the flashback in general wasn’t a bad one-- in fact, if it was shown under different circumstances, i would have liked it. We got to see Laxus exclaiming how he doesn’t feel like this is right-- that he is part of Fairy Tail after everything he did. But that’s another can of worms.
In this occasion the flashback is completely irrelevant. Honestly, the only reason we got as to how he gained such technique was this flashback. Nothing with substance, no support--- nothing. We didn’t get to see how he got it, what type of training he did, and whatnot. We didn’t even get an explanation of this ability; how was manifested, how does it work, or even the consequences of using it. We only got a flashback about his great-grandfather and then BOOM--- Red Lightning, referred as ‘Red, like the color of blood. family blood’, or some kind of bs like that.
And on top of that?? It’s literally a punch with lightning surrounding it?? Something that Mashima has done before??

Honestly, the entire concept not only seems lazy, but also a poor excuse so that Laxus can win with the disadvantage that he had on Well Eehto (Wall being immune to lightning supposedly and Laxus’ physical condition). But, once Laxus got healed thanks to the runes, he could have done something much more impactful. But again, with the techniques given, it seems almost impossible, sadly.
Hell, this guy can lift a hand a cause an explosion like this, whilst being sick. ( X )
My main issue (or at least one of my issues) is that Laxus was introduced in the series as a very powerful character and mashima tends to go back and forth with it. Wanna have an OP character? Go for it. Wanna have him get weakened? Sure. But have some consistency. Sadly, there’s many characters that got fucked over. (Don’t get me started over the Raijinshuu, because I could write books about them and the better treatement that they deserved.).
Also, it pisses me off how Laxus’ secret DS art, is just a punch with lightning. It seems unoriginal and lazy. Hell, he has better movements and they aren’t even as powerful as this. (thankfully, there’s canon divergence on that matter, in this blog.)
The entire result of the fight Laxus vs Wall did diservice to both of them. IF laxus had a better and more impactful move, (not OP, just anything better than a fucking punch with sparks), it could have had a better result. I wish Mashima would have put more effort in so many of his characters. So much potential has been wasted.
Anyways before i turn this into a +30 para rant, i should stop right here.

me still thinking about a 13 year old movie
why i had a problem with Bonds
aside from them promoting the heck out of it by featuring sasuke and then just having him be there for less than 5 minutes total
i know the movie characters dont necessarily HAVE to be directly connected to naruto and co, but if they at least try to make it relatable to him
amaru and shinno have a student teacher bond which is relatable with naruto and jiraiya’s bond BUT i thought it was a really weird decision for her to have romantic feelings for him, which makes the naruto jiraiya parellel reeeeeeeeeeaaally weird
i always thought if they were going to try to it sasuke into the movie, they could have made amaru and shinno be siblings or have a sibling bond, which naruto can relate to with sasuke
i think they did this better in blood prison, where ryuuzetsu and muku had a best friend bond, which naruto understood because she was trying to save a friend from the darkness. its up to interpretation if they can be anything more (only because they are a female and male) but then again we can still take that when it comes to naruto and sasuke lol
also the mui and muku stuff, which naruto can relate to with his parents meaning well even if they dont show it and accidentally hurting their child
theres a line naruto says about “a child has to watch a father’s back” and im just 😭😭😭 (as i go to watch the boruto movie for the fourth time)
anyway, i like blood prison for a lot of things (the fanservice, the movie characters, .....the fanservice....) but its still very bad in many parts lmfao
naruto movies are like pokemon movies, they range from average to bad
