It's is HILARIOUS to me that Dan howell announces his full length live show (with deleted scenes) being posted on YouTube a week after watcher made their announcement
I'm so unironically happy that people were genuinely having a great time at the Ghost files tour. Like, fuck yea, people were just having a good time, it wasn't a dumpster fire. I am legitimately just so fucking happy rn.
… yeah. i’ll give you time to reflect on this… (oh and btw, ryan still talks about how he remembers so vividly how shane had died trying to save him in the snake dream…)
is that this really forced a lot of us to realize we haven't enjoyed most of their content for years.
Ghost Files... me and a friend were trying to watch it and we couldn't even tell if we had seen a new episode because they're all too similiar. The overproduction makes all the episodes carbon copies of each other.
I really only enjoy Puppet History and Mystery Files. But even Mystery Files I find myself having to rewatch because I find it can't keep my attention.
I miss Weird, Wonderful World and Tourist Trapped.
One thing I see a lot of people saying watcher are doing things "we didn't ask for". Making this whole streaming service / extra patreon to make content that "we didn't ask for". Have y'all considered this: that's not the point? This is THEIR career. THEIR company. They left Buzzfeed so they could have more creative control. The whole point of being a creative is following *your* passions, your ideas. Yes they need to also work with fans to figure out what is and isn't popular, maximize viewers, etc. But some people seem to think fans are entitled to be the one in charge of what they do and don't make and that is wrong.
(I'm not agreeing with any of this situation they created btw. It's just this wording ive seen multiple times that I think we should pause and consider)
