not a tkt question (which i’m a little late for anyway) but i can’t help but stop by to politely comment on the fact that, when looking at the reference for kinn’s soulmark for porsche, I did not politely shout at the realization it’s the same vine growing out in my garden !! I never knew what it was actually called, so my brain appreciates the info and the permanent association to this lovely, lovely story 💗💛 thank you for everything, i will remember this random coincidence fondly
Naaah, nowhere near too late for TKT questions!
However, may I cheerfully squeal with you? AAAHHHH THAT'S FANTASTIC!
A couple people have said in the AO3 comments that they know of or have a ratchaphruek (which I only just NOW successfully spelled for the first time, woo), but you're the first person to tell me you have rangoon creeper!
Ooh, I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to include your follow-up Ask here as well:
ah! how could I talk about the porsche vine in my garden and not share a photo!! just a section and the vine is relatively baby, but it hopefully will continue to grow 💕 https://ibb.co/hmnQS6b
AAHHH! I checked the link, and that's so much better than the pics that were coming up in Google images, oooh, I love it so much! What a magnificent vine to get to see in one's own yard. 🥰🌺 I love those big, broad leaves and tiny delicate star flowers. 😍
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this!!
*gleeful wiggling*

Anita (eau de parfum) Esse Strikes the Notes
Floral
Flowers head notes, synonymous of freedom and happiness, contrasted by the bleak pepper of the heart notes, that infuse the essence, drowning out the harmony.
Obvious analogy between notes of the fragrance and personalities.
How appearances can be deceptive?
Maybe, we are more than a look. Probably, nobody is what it seems to be.
The appearance changes ourselves, it strips and clouds our soul that represent us as what we aren’t.
It makes us, what the interlocutor decides we are.
Expressing our inherent emotions and the clearness of our state of mind, is the talent of strong people. To catch them is the talent of who would like to move on.
Challenge the role of the appearance, have fun cheating with it.
“I’m fine, or maybe, save me!”

Tumblr media
image from the internet
Combretum indicum, also known as the Rangoon creeper, is a vine with red flower clusters which is generally found in tropical Asia. Sweet and fruity, strong and intoxicating, reminiscent of white flowers and honeysuckle. The seeds are similar to pumpkin seeds, in which quisqualic acid has been used for treating roundworm and pinworm. It is toxic to the parasite and kills it in the digestive tract.

More TKT questions : Can you explain how Kinn's bondmark got on Porsche? Why didn't it grow on Kinn? or why wasn't it posible for it to be transfered to Kinn ? I get that Kinn's seed is a no go for growth, but what about the rest of his body? Do KinnPorsche get to experience soul recognition now that there are two bondmarks? Porsche is the one that felt Kinn's vine grow so …can Kinn even feel the vine at all?
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT FIRST QUESTION!!
Okay, I'm going out of order on Asks, but I have been dying for someone to ask that first question. Didn't want to just randomly spew it out if no one was wanting the info.
However, I have been informed by a close friend that they want it to remain a mystery, SO.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
Still a spoiler.
Can you explain how Kinn's bondmark got on Porsche? Why didn't it grow on Kinn? or why wasn't it posible for it to be transfered to Kinn ? I get that Kinn's seed is a no go for growth, but what about the rest of his body?
DISCLAIMER: I may not be able to explain this in a way that makes sense outside of my head.
Think of soulmates as being connected by a metaphysical tether.
Soulmarks (or seeds) are like a window that grant a very small, limited view into that metaphysical connection or tether.
The removal of a seed is basically like filling up the whole damn room with concrete to block the window. This doesn't break the tether. NOTHING breaks the tether. It just means the view of the tether is completely cut off.
There is no do-over for this. A seed can't remanifest.
See, the window is only blocked from the inside. It still exists on the outside, and by outside I'm referring to OUTSIDE the physical body, in the metaphysical world. (For all intents and purposes in the physical world, the seed has been removed. The physical manifestation is destroyed, and it becomes an ashy-looking scar.)
When a seed is destroyed, the bondmark will still grow when the soulmates come into contact, but only on the metaphysical plane.
Here's where it gets fun.
Some plants? Are very good at spreading. Like vines. And mosses. (Somewhere, scientists are screaming.)
The rangoon creeper bondmark that should have grown on Kinn grew along the connecting tether all the way back to Porsche and crept through his seed (reminder, it's not a literal seed, more like a window) to creep up the ratchaphruek. The rangoon creeper started growing behind the trunk of the tree, which was why they couldn't see it at first.
And before anyone asks, no, this "backgrowth" (as I like to think of it) wouldn't happen as long as the mark could manifest on the intended bearer. Bondmarks are a wee bit like the One Ring? They want to be found seen.
Do KinnPorsche get to experience soul recognition now that there are two bondmarks?
No, they can't experience soul recognition.
As a reader, I get frustrated with "easy outs." In life, there are consequences to actions, losses that cannot be undone, and I want my writing to reflect that. I feel like with TKT, I found a good balance between consequences and rewards.
Porsche is the one that felt Kinn's vine grow so …can Kinn even feel the vine at all?
Also a "no" here.
~~~
THANK YOU for asking the question I was most hoping to get!
Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori (eau de parfum) Gucci Bloom Gucci Nose: Alberto Morillas
Floral
Presenting Ambrosia di Fiori, a new chapter of the Gucci Bloom story conceived by Alessandro Michele and created by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. Invoking a banquet of an ancient world, ambrosia was the sustenance of the Greek gods, thought to give immortality to those who drank it. The name of this precious nectar and the magic it evokes is woven into the scent’s vibrant bouquet. The blend begins with the original Gucci Bloom eau de parfum—a trio of Jasmine Bud extract, Tuberose, and Rangoon Creeper—combined with new ingredients that intensify the floral fragrance: the rare Velvety Orris—derived from Iris resin—originally used by ancient Greeks and Romans as an essential oil, and Damascena Rose—harvested in the early morning to give the powerful rendition of the flower.
The scent is presented in a burgundy lacquered glass bottle with a soft pink label. Contrasted by the emblematic Herbarium pattern in black, the same shade of pink defines the box.
Key notes: Orris, Damask rose, Tuberose, Jasmine, Rangoon creeper
