Spetsnaz with a secret admirer
Cut only due to length. I choose all different items for the boys to receive just to shake things up a little bit
Kapkan
- This lone wolf would definitely be taken off guard by the appearance of a gift left for him.
-After getting over his initial confusion, it wouldn’t take him long to slip away from people for some privacy as he tries to open the little wrapped gift without getting the wrapping everywhere.
- He’s the type to double check if anyone is around before actually looking at the gift. In his defense, this feels like it was meant just for him, so he should be the only one seeing it.
- Beneath all the wrapping was a cool steel knife. Made in a similar fashion to a buck knife with a wooden handle.
- Upon further inspection, he’d notice the initials carved onto the wood. His own boldly stood out to him, but the other one… he was unsure.
- He put together quickly that it was probably the one who gifted him the polished blade.
-The initials weren’t much to go off of, and he didn’t want to have to ask around too much. People would get curious as to what he’s up too. Especially his comrades.
- Luckily, Maxim’s a respectable hunter who likes a good chase.
Glaz
- A true artist like himself is pretty in touch with his emotions and has a deep appreciation for anything that can speak to them.
- So when he finds a nice leather notebook left on the bench in his locker (one that is definitely not his, as the one he keeps in his locker is typically much smaller), he’s immediately reaching for it out of curiosity.
- Feeling the firm leather, Timur could tell it was pretty high quality. Someone must have wanted it to be nice.
- He doesn’t go to hide away with it, but he keeps it on the down low.
- Gracefully, he opens the notebook to see handwriting on the cover’s inside, a detection to himself from a mystery lover.
- He couldn’t help but give a little smile at the thought of someone taking the time for him. And getting him something he would definitely be using at that.
- He was going to find out who they were, but he found himself liking the mystery lover’s unknown identity.
Fuze
- Left right in his locker was a bundle of white tulips.
- Shuhrat is overcome with confusion at them, slipping off some of his heavier gear as he sat down next to the flowers, before gently picking them up to look for any reason why they would be here.
- The thought of a secret admirer probably doesn’t even cross his mind.
- But when he finds a little note attached to it with words such as “With love” he suddenly becomes aware that he’s holding a gift. One sent with love at that.
- His brain stops functioning for a second, just holding the flowers and staring at them blankly. A meek attempt to process that someone was gifting him flowers.
- His spacing out is swiftly replaced by a sense of panic when he hears his comrades voices drawing near. He knows that Alexsandr would give him the teasing of his life if he found out Shuhrat was being fancied by someone.
- He didn’t know why but he felt a tug on his heartstrings as he went to throw them somewhere randomly hidden. Causing him to change his mind last minute, opting to have them gently placed back in his locker instead.
Tachanka
- Alexsandr is a charming show-off so having people admire him isn’t exactly a new thing, but a real admirer?
- Working out with his fellow Spetsnaz Ops is a regular suggestion from Alex. And it leaves his locker free reign for leaving him a little something.
- So when they started to settle down and head up for some drinks and a rest. He almost doesn’t notice the letter left for him. The part that catches his eye is the little red scribbled heart against the white paper.
- He doesn’t hesitate to pick it up, looking it over with a gleam in his eyes.
- Even with his comrades around, Alex opens the hearted paper, a very different texture than the work out equipment he was using before.
- Seeing it’s a lovely love letter, he’s instantly reading it through. He’s smirking and gives a few laughs at some of the letter.
- Not laughing at who this secret admirer is, more of he’s flattered and laughing is his natural reaction.
- Alexsandr thinks the letter is adorable and is dying to know who his admirer is. Unlike many of the others, he’s absolutely and shamelessly asking around to figure out who they are.

More Siege fun facts the average player might not know:
Bandit named his gadget (CED) after his brother Cedric
Glaz plays poker with the FBI SWAT
Bandit has his pilot’s license and Valkyrie is working to get hers
Glaz’s full name, Timur Glazkov, roughly translates to “eye of iron” or “iron sights”
Fuze was engaged for two years but eventually called the wedding off
Finka, Mute, Mira, and Doc all have phds
Zero knew Finka’s father and even met her when she was a child
Jäger references Star Trek in his “I’m an engineer, not a medic” line (reversal of Bones’ classic line)
Rook loves rock music and wanted to pursue a career in it at one point
Jackal is good at off road driving (idk how a man who doesn’t sleep drives but whatever)

So if extraction get an update(which I doubt will ever happen) I’ve been thinking of ideas on what operators could be proteans. Gameplay why of course. And I’ve found that our 5 proteans all are just improved versions of the enemies in game(Sledge-smasher, Finka-apex, vigil-lurker, etc) so to make a new boss would require a playable operator that shares similar abilities with a enemy so I give you 3 different operators that could theoretically be turned into bosses with this philosophy
1. Fuze-Breacher
Fuze’s cluster charges give off the most destructive effect in terms of explosives and area denial. Bleachers are one of 3 enemies that can break though reinforced walls but the red variant it’s certainly the most ‘explosive’ as they self destruct on you or when the large bulb on their back is shot. So a fuze boss would consist of of a shotgun and trying to run up to you and blow up in you face dealing loads of damage. The 2nd phase would add explosive projectiles that would be homing(similar to a tormentor’s charged attack) and phase through objects utilizing hitting an operator, a reinforced wall or being shot at in where it explodes where it’s shot, and when hitting a reinforced wall a hole would appear in the wall similar to a hard breach charge in r6s. The trick would to be using your reinforcements strategically to avoid those homing explosives and keep your distance from the boss while firing.
Extra notes: hibana would also be a good choice for being the boss as well
2. Gridlock-Rooter
Gridlock’s trax stingers are a throwable gadget that slows and damages enemies but takes time to activate and rooters are an enemy that attacks using spikes coming from the ground that immobilizes the target caught in its attack. So an enemy who can immobilize you then follow up by shooting you would make a terrifying boss fight(at least the first time you fight it) this boss would fire a lurker attack when it spots you trapping you in the spikes then attempts to fire at their traps target. It’s enhanced form would have lurker attacks start at this proteans feet and slowly spread out to where they attempt to find ‘prey’. Using smokes to block lines of sights from gridlock an attacking from behind from its front face carapace would be the optimal strategy and this would great for a glaz/warden type operator to see through smokes.
Extra notes: capitiao and nomad would be good choices to be the boss instead
3. Ela-Sower
So this last one’s a bit of a stretch but the sower deserves more attention than being a glorified bullet mag.
Ela’s grizmot mines that stun enemies is what I consider the closest gadget to the sowers mines that flash you. This boss would definitely be the most annoying to fight as it will always try to run away to set its blinding mines and claymores(it would do about 25-50 damage and can down) only in its 3rd phase would it actually engage with the scorpion smg as it sets the blinding mines automatically. Having someone on mine clearing duty while the other 2 chance ela down would be the best strategy.
Extra notes: Iq and Zofia would be considered good operators to chose to beat this boss
Other ideas I have are Tachanka-spiker and doc-feral grunt/revived archaeans. But feel free to add feedback and ideas on what kind of proteans you’d like to see in extraction!

hi anon! happy holidays to all! thanks for being so patient with me and my lack of updating. i don't feel very confident with writing for female characters within the game yet here below here i have some fuze headcannons. reblogs and likes are greatly appreciated!!!
shuhrat is a worry wart and overthinks often. after not hearing from you for a few hours his mind bounces back and forth to different scenarios. the thought of you being kidnapped does cross his mind but he secretly knows that thought is highly irrational. he plays it off to you hanging around the base with other operators or maybe you're at a bar, restaurant or club with friends.
he knows its highly unusual for you to not let him know where you are heading off to. if you have your location for him on your phone, he constantly checks it.
after the fourth or fifth hour rolls around without any contact from you, he slowly begins to emotionally panic, he calls alex for help, definitely inquisitive yet he does pry at him for an answer.
after another hour or so with alex's advice of "(y/n) is fine. drink vodka". and reassuring him that you're all alright. yet it doesn't soothe him like he hoped for. not very convincing.
he receives an e-mail from a do-not-reply email stating your general whereabouts and the situation you were held hostage in. then, he truly begins to panic, mentally, emotionally and physically.
he stands up from the couch, the blanket on top of him now on the floor. he can't take his eyes off the screen and keeps rereading the e-mail over and over.
he instantly calls the number at the bottom, begging for you to be safe and set free from your abductors.
he ends up making a compromise with whom he assumes is the white masks as they promise to keep you safe in return.
he notifies six although he shouldn't due to the comprise between the white masks and himself.
six organizes a "rescue operation" for your release and shuhrat is involved with it through every second of the plan and the process.
he knows that before dawn you'll be wrapped around in his arms, all safe and sound. but the anger that you were swept from under him gives him the motivation to find and fight for you.
