Pretty in Plastic(TS4 to TS1)

I converted them because I tried to demake my house from TS4 to TS1.

Most people will tell you that giving your pets any kind of medication in pill form is an absolute nightmare, meanwhile I have the exact opposite problem.

A friend of mine was watching my cat Mim while I was travelling this weekend and when he went to split her weekly allergy pill (made to split into 4 small pills when you press down on it with a finger) to give her the usual 1/4, he fumbled it and sent it skittering across the floor where my ridiculous pill-loving menace of cat immediately gobbled down the whole thing, leading to me receiving a panicked phone call at 11 pm from said friend who was understandably freaking out (everyone’s fine, a single high dose won’t cause any problems as long as it’s just this once).

Behold: the villain herself, basking in the success of her crime (she’d be planning her next pill-related heist but, as you can see if you look closely, there’s there’s nothing but elevator music behind those eyes)

a while back i reached out to my favorite human @plastic-pipes for a commission for my first avatrice fic let me photograph you in this light (in case this is the last time) and she delivered in insanely beautiful fashion as she always does.

i’m blown away just looking at it - all the details, the softness, the lighting. it’s incredible.

So apparently I never shared the shortcut to happiness that is making a lacy parasol. Let me rectify that:

I found this plastic parasol in a thrift shop, I think it was a prop for a restaurant or something. Pretty, but not actually functional as a parasol (it got to 40c when i made this, i had ample opportunity to test it out).

I had lacy parasols on the brain and before I could convince myself to try and tat one, I realised I had lace too sturdy for dresses, and also this doily:

This worked so well. I zigzagged over the lace and then cut the back (an old tablecloth with a permanent stain) away carefully. I cleaned the parasol of the old glue and glued the new fabric on with fabric glue, handstitching down the edge.

It had to dry overnight, but it was done in time for me to parade around with. Instant happiness.

“it’s just a warmup sketch,” i say to myself. “i’m just gonna warm up on shading and coloring. i’m just warming up on anatomy.” my spine crackles from sitting in shrimp stance for 2 hours. “just to warm up.”

I think there's too much moralizing in the HP fandom. Like, every time I see arguments between the Marauder/Snape fandoms, it boils down to morality, which is ridiculous because characters are not real people. They do not have morals, or thoughts, or actions. They're puffs of smoke that only exist inside your own brain. Imo, the worst thing a character can be is boring. Snape is many, many things, but he's not boring. Part of what makes him interesting is that he's contradictory, sometimes he does bad things with no real reason but to satisfy his own emotional stuntedness, sometimes he does good things because it's the right thing to do, and all of these actions remain in character.

James Potter is a footnote in canon. A tabula rasa. We know a handful of basic facts: he desired Lily, he bullied Snape, he saved Snape from getting eaten by a werewolf, saving Snape didn't stop him from bullying him, somehow Lily decided to date him even though he literally tried to blackmail her, his friends loved him, he was loyal to them, he was charming, he fought in a war. Everything else is fair game! Make him your own! Do something with these bare bones and create an interesting character! And yet when I see these interpretations of him that are like "Bambi did nothing wrong, Snape was actually the evil mastermind behind all of this just to make poor James look like the bad guy >:(" I just saw a take that had Snape as the mastermind of the werewolf prank that he designed to break up the group, and I'm just like, my friend, those horrible flaws make James interesting. You just turned him into a sad sack of goo. He's no longer a character who acts, he's a blank slate that things happen to. There's a difference. You somehow made a footnote even more boring. Don't be afraid to embrace the darker aspects of him just because you're afraid of a character who is not perfectly moral and good 100% of the time.

I found out there was an anteater LPS so obviously the only logical thing to do was go and buy one immediately and make it into Flint. My phone hates me so pictures are bad but look!!!!! That's a little guy!!!!!

even if you don't get the reference I'm going for, there is still trixie with rick shades in their pocket to enjoy here. but hey! perhaps someone will know

Here she is!!! 😄 Her battery compartment was beyond saving, but I'm still super happy with how she cleaned up even if she is nonworking! I'm naming her Biohazard :)

school has been… a thing. A very time consuming thing. But since we got new epithet erased related content recently AND new sprites i decided to post two of my old drawings/sprite edits of lorelai with swapped poses (seen below)(click for better quality)

I unfortunately have to halt cookie run x ee content for now… but I have a backlog of a few ideas in the future! (Miitopia’d characters, art style analysis 2.0, and more) See you guys on the flipside again in maybe either a week or another month, who knows cause I dont!
