Hello! I feel like I've been blessed discovering your blog. I study italian, german and english. Thank you so much for translating the songs in italian, I really like learning that way. Do you have any movie or series suggetions (in italian or german)? Greetings from Slovenia :)
Hey! I’m flattered, thank you -- I’m the one who lucked out with followers like you ^^ I’m also glad you liked the translated songs; if you ever have any requests, send them in and I’ll be happy to oblige.
As for movie and TV recs, here are the links to a couple of posts you might find useful:
Italian movies (2000-2017)
My top 5 Italian movies (this is from 2019)
Italian TV series
German films/TV recs by @polyglotinprogress
try browsing @plurilinguismo‘s posts list here -- you’ll find some useful recs for Italian media
RaiPlay is our national broadcaster RAI’s multimedia portal, offering movies, TV series, documentaries and so on -- registration is free, but unfortunately I’m pretty sure there are geographical restrictions, which means you’d have to use an Italian VPN to access it.

11 Questions Tag
I was tagged by @studeep — thanks a lot :)
here’s the previous 11 Questions Tag I did
Rules: post the rules, answer the 11 questions, make up 11 new questions, and tag 11 people.
1. Tell me a random fact about a friend or other loved one.
My middle high friend had never eaten a hamburger until she was like 15
2. What do you like about the place where you live?
I don’t want to sound like an absolute nerd but my favorite thing about Poland is the language. To be honest, I find it hard to appreciate anything else here
3. What do you dislike about the place where you live?
Mostly how the people act and the way they think
4. Do you have a favourite painting? If yes, which one?
I don’t have a favorite one, but one of many I love is Mary Magdalene in Ecstasy by Artemisia Gentileschi
5. How do you usually feel after a sleepless night?
Tired and angry
6. What was the best thing that happened to you in the last 24 hours?
Realizing that I have a lot of time left until I go to bed and start another tiring day
7. If you were a plant, which one would be most like you?
I don’t know anything about plants, so much so I can name only like 3, so I don’t know -- sorry
8. What was your favourite subject when you were in elementary school?
Polish
9. If you could just implant a language into your brain without having to study it, which language would you choose?
Arabic or French
10. If you could travel anywhere at all but you would have to leave RIGHT NOW (no packing bags, you go as you are), where would you go?
Iceland tho I’d get cold
11. Do you like insects?
Nope
My questions (don’t do them if you don’t want to, ofc; and if I didn’t tag you but you want to do it, then feel tagged as well):
Who’s your celebrity crush?
What are your plans for tomorrow?
The book you last read?
What do you wish you had more of in life?
What’s your biggest worry?
Your Hogwarts house?
Presents: do you prefer to get them or to give them?
Introduce me (us) to your favorite childhood toy.
What language do you find the least interesting?
Would you rather speak 50 languages or be able to communicate with every animal?
What do you do when you’re angry?
