I cannot think of another text I would choose over it to teach ethics to developing counselors. This text serves as an excellent source for the overview of ethical issues in counseling and related fields, as well as a guide to further reading. Corey, Corey, and Callanan expect readers to become involved in learning to deal with ethical and professional issues most directly influenced by the actual practice of counseling. The authors produce numerous useful examples for thought and discussion as well as well designed activities for the classroom setting. Even an instructor selects another text for her or his ethics course, the student should definitely consider purchasing this text as an ethics resource.
