They’re deep in northern Sinnoh when Ash starts sneezing.

“It’s n-nothing,” he says between chattering teeth. “Let’s keep looking.”

Pikachu, nestled in the front of his jacket, shoots Goh a look he can only really describe as mildly threatening. Not that he needed Pikachu’s confirmation, but the message is more than received.

“We could come back another day,” he says, carefully. “Snowpoint City is pretty close to here, right?”

“But it’s a beautiful day. Why would ya waste the chance?” He sneezes again and pats Pikachu’s head apologetically. “Sorry, buddy. I think your fur got up my nose.”

It’s true that the weather is perfect for Pokémon-catching today, and that the unpredictability of the northern climate may very well mean it will be weeks before an opportunity like this presents itself again. And Goh feels fine—he suspects Ash is feeling the chill a bit more deeply because of all the sleep he’s lost recently getting up early in the morning to train with his team.

Which is a…weird thought, because this is a quality of Ash’s he has always admired. When does tenacity morph into something more hostile to the eternal optimist espousing it? He files that away for later contemplation.

Finally, he heaves a sigh. It billows out in front of him dense and fluffy, like the wings of a Swablu.

“If you’re sure… But you could go back without me, too. I don’t really mind.”

Ash’s expression hardens. “You can’t stay here alone. If it starts to storm, you’ll be trapped. Let’s stick”—he sneezes again—“stick together. ‘Kay?”

“Well…okay.” Goh eyes him dubiously as Pikachu chitters in mild disapproval. “But if you need to go back, just say the word.”

Really, Goh should know better, but he doesn’t want to lose his chance to catch Pokémon he otherwise doesn’t see much. It’s only a few hours later when Ash collapses against a tree and his legs give out on him that Goh realizes it’s a lot more than a budding cold.

“Pikapi!” Pikachu pushes himself up in order to press his nose against Ash’s face, while Ash raises a weak arm to pat his head—or push him away—and mutters, “’M fine, Pikachu, don’t fuss.”

Goh picks his way over the snowbank between them and glowers down at him.

“You are not fine,” he snaps. “I thought you were going to tell me if you felt worse! You need to—”

He stops abruptly, as he feels a snowflake land on his nose. When he lifts a tentative hand in the air, more flakes than he can manage to count dissolve on his palm; some of them sting against the exposed skin between his glove and the sleeve of his jacket.

Ash groans. It sounds more as if he is in pain than irritated at the sudden turn of the weather.

“Look, let’s just—we can make it back to the Pokémon Centre, okay? Let me help you.”

Goh steps forward, but has to stop before he can reach a hand down to Ash as a sudden forceful gust threatens to knock him off his feet too. He grits his teeth and looks down at Ash and Pikachu, his frustration melting into alarm almost immediately when he sees sweat beading his forehead beneath the brim of his hat.

“Okay, Goh, think,” he mutters to himself. “What’s the quickest way back to the Pokémon Centre…?”

He stops as he sees Ash fumbling for one of his Poké Balls. A sense of immense stupidity washes over him when it opens up to reveal Dragonite, who immediately leans down to pull her trainer back up to his feet.

His grip remains on her even once he is standing, clearly the only thing keeping him upright. His other hand comes up to pat her arm weakly in thanks. “’S’not too far to fly,” he promises. “Not a blizzard yet, but ya never know. C’mon, Goh.”

It’s the sound of his own name that finally forces Goh to approach. Ash doesn’t climb on Dragonite right away; the fierce trembling in his legs tells Goh he ought to do so first, so he can pull Ash up after him. It isn’t easy, but they manage, and once Dragonite lifts off from the ground, he slumps against Goh’s back and sucks in a deep, rattling breath.

“Sorry,” he says, very quietly. “Cold.”

Goh swallows hard against the lump trying to form in his throat. “Yeah. It’s okay. We’ll be there soon.”

It thankfully is the truth, too, for in only a handful of minutes he makes out a faint glow of red beneath the flurry of white. The snow has picked up somewhat, but Dragonite doesn’t let it deter her. For Ash’s sake, Goh supposes; there is no doubt of the fierce loyalty he has earned from all his Pokémon.

She lands just in front of the Pokémon Centre, breathing hard from the exertion. When Goh helps Ash come down from her back, he falls against her and does the same.

“Thanks a bunch,” he tells her. His words string together, barely perceptible through the heaviness of his fatigue. “Take a good rest, ‘kay?”

Goh takes Ash’s arm and wraps it around his own neck to keep him standing after he has recalled Dragonite. Pikachu peers up at him from where he is nestled in Ash’s jacket with wide, pleading eyes.

“Inside,” he says with a small tug to get Ash’s feet moving. “Almost there.”

Neither of them speaks again until they make it through the door and Nurse Joy greets them. Her smile falls as soon as her eyes land on Ash, however. In no time at all, she is there helping Goh guide him to a chair.

“Caught in the storm?” she asks, sympathetic.

Ash has slumped over in the chair and gives no response, so Goh tells her, “I think he’s sick. I thought… He said he wasn’t, but the cold…”

Nurse Joy hums. She kneels down in front of Ash and Pikachu, peering up to get a look at his face.

“Ash?” she probes. “Can you look at me? It’s Nurse Joy at the Snowpoint City Pokémon Centre.”

He lifts his head slightly, though doesn’t seem completely aware of her. Gently, she reaches a hand out to touch his face, lips turning down in a concerned frown as she does.

“I think you’d better stay the night,” she says. Turning back to Goh and standing at her full height, she adds, “Some warm fluids and rest are the best solution. He’ll probably be feeling better in the morning. Let me find you a room for the night, all right?”

Despite his best efforts, the lump lodged in his throat has gone nowhere. His voice is very small when he says, “Okay.”

She turns away and makes her way back to the counter. Goh only watches her a moment before a feeble “Pikapi” draws his attention back to Ash and Pikachu.

Ash reaches a hand up to stroke Pikachu’s head. It is shaking so badly he nearly misses. “Don’t worry ‘bout me, Pikachu. I’m okay s’long as you are.”

Goh can only manage to stand and watch, uncomfortably aware that there’s nothing he can do. He should have insisted earlier. He should have noticed sooner than he did. He should have…

“Ash,” he suddenly remembers. “Ash, you should leave Dragonite with Nurse Joy. She’s probably weak from flying through the snow.”

Ash pulls his hand back away from Pikachu and places it over the Poké Balls strapped to his belt. But he does not take Dragonite’s off; his fingers twitch over top of it, as if defensively.

“Dragon types don’t do well in snow,” Goh reminds him. “She might have some frostbite or something. You’re not in any condition to do anything about that yourself.”

Ash recoils slightly. Upon closer inspection, Goh sees that his eyes are glassy; his teeth are chattering too much for him to speak.

At that moment, Nurse Joy returns with a room key, which she hands off to Goh. She smiles kindly at them both.

“Is there anything else you need from me? I was already preparing some soup, so I’ll have it brought up to you once it’s ready.”

“Ash’s Dragonite flew us back here. She seemed tired, so…”

Nurse Joy nods in understanding, then turns to face Ash. “I can take a look at her, Ash.”

Ash’s hand wraps around her Poké Ball, but he doesn’t take it off his belt. “Too cold,” he mutters. “They’ve gotta stay in their balls.”

Goh frowns. “C’mon, Ash, we’re at the Pokémon Centre. It’s perfectly safe here.”

After a beat wherein Ash does not move at all, Pikachu reaches down to pry his hands away from Dragonite’s ball. The reaction is immediate.

“Pikachu! Stop!” He tries to get his hand back in position, but is shivering so violently he doesn’t quite manage before the ball clatters to the floor. His lips thin and he lets out a little hiss, but Goh stoops down to pick it up before Ash can even think of it.

“Just a quick check-up,” Nurse Joy promises as Goh wordlessly passes Dragonite’s ball off to her. “She doesn’t even need to come out of her ball for it. I’ll send it back up with the soup. Why don’t you go get some rest?”

She turns away before Ash can respond, but he doesn’t seem keen on doing so anyway; his head is bowed, hands braced in trembling fists against his knees. Pikachu crawls up from his lap to his shoulder and rubs against his cheek. He doesn’t relax even a bit, which seems just as concerning to Pikachu as it feels to Goh.

Goh leans down to offer Ash his hand. A long moment passes before Ash reaches up and grasps it; Goh releases his held breath in a relieved sigh and tightens his hold to hoist him up to feet. It is effortful work, but they eventually make it to the room Nurse Joy assigned them to. A testament to her charitable insight, it is not far from the front at all.

While Pikachu jumps down and rushes for a bed immediately, Ash stands at the door a moment, swaying slightly on his feet. Goh takes him by the elbow and directs him to follow Pikachu. He sinks into the mattress and wraps his arms around himself. In spite of the warm roof over the head and all the wintergear he’s wearing, he is still shivering.

“Why don’t you take off your jacket?” Goh suggests. “You’ll overheat if you leave it on.”

If anything, he just wraps his arms around himself more tightly. He takes in a deep breath and pushes himself up on the bed so he can lean against the headboard. Pikachu jumps up on his lap and settles down there, apparently with no intention of leaving anytime soon.

Goh sighs. “That can’t be comfortable. Come on.”

“Cold,” is the whining response he gets.

“That’s just— It’s because you have a fever, Ash. Your brain is telling you you’re cold but your temperature’s actually higher than usual and you don’t want to make it worse, so…”

Before Ash can protest further—as Goh can tell he wants to, even as he lacks the energy for it—they are interrupted by a knock on the door. Goh opens it to see a beaming Nurse Joy. She pushes a tray with two steaming bowls and Dragonite’s Poké Ball toward him.

“I hope you’re both getting comfortable,” she says cheerfully. “If you need anything at all, don’t be afraid to ask. It’s quiet tonight, so I don’t mind helping out!”

Goh accepts the tray, careful to position it so that the fine trembling of his hands doesn’t result in spilled soup. He forces a smile on his face. “Thanks a lot, Nurse Joy. We really appreciate it.”

“It’s what I’m here for.” Her eyes slide briefly to Ash, but she must not see anything too concerning, because then she steps back and says, “Good night!”

When the door closes again, Goh is quick to find somewhere to set the tray down. He hands Dragonite’s Poké Ball back to Ash, who immediately relaxes once it is back on his belt.

“Thanks,” he manages after a moment. “What smells so good?”

Under any other circumstances, Goh would have rolled his eyes at that, but Ash’s renewed interest in food is so relieving he instead finds himself smiling a bit, genuinely this time.

“Soup,” he says. “And you can have some as soon as you take off your jacket and everything.”

Ash grumbles about a bit, but eventually sheds his winter clothes and drops his backpack on the ground beside the bed. Though he doesn’t look happy about it, Pikachu vacates his lap and curls up beside him instead.

Goh passes him one of the bowls. He wastes no time in digging in.

“It seems like you’re feeling a bit better already,” Goh remarks.

“Hm?” Ash swallows, blinking. As the comment registers, a guarded look crosses his face. “I guess. I don’t really like the cold.”

“That feels like an understatement,” Goh says before he can even really think about it. He regrets it as soon as he sees Ash’s shoulders hunch up.

“Bad memories,” is all he says, and Goh is too uncomfortable to ask for anything more.

They finish their meal in silence, except for the occasional sniffle from Ash. Aside from any sinus issues, though, he looks significantly better when Goh takes his empty bowl back. Eyes wide and alert—present, rather than…whatever they were before. His expression is somewhat grave, but not any more so than would be expected for someone riding out a fever.

Goh sets their dishes aside, then straightens up and says, “She didn’t bring any food for our Pokémon, so I’m gonna go get some, all right?”

Ash doesn’t respond right away; when Goh glances back at him, he looks…small.

“What? Do you need something?”

“I just…” He looks away. Sniffles. Says, very quietly, “Please don’t leave me.”

Goh stares at him. He blinks a few times. Opens his mouth, and then closes it, and then finally manages to ask, “What?”

If his face weren’t already so flushed from his fever, Goh wonders if it would have reddened from the same emotion that clenches his hands into fists in his lap.

“Never mind,” Goh says, quickly. “I can stay a while longer. Do you…?”

Without a word, Ash nudges Pikachu and they both scoot over to make some space on his other side. Ash still doesn’t look up at him, but the message is more than received.

Goh has barely sat down before Ash is leaning against him. He’s still trembling, but suddenly Goh isn’t sure that’s entirely thanks to his fever. Awkwardly, he wraps an arm around him and holds him closer, as if he could put a stop to it if he tries hard enough.

It doesn’t stop completely, but he feels when Ash begins to relax. He looks over at Pikachu, whose head rests against Ash’s thigh, and knows that their Pokémon won’t mind waiting a few minutes longer for their dinner. It isn’t just his own Pokémon’s loyalty Ash has earned, after all.

Once his breathing has deepened a bit, Ash murmurs, “Thanks.”

Goh doesn’t say anything. He just holds him a bit tighter, content to stay where exactly where he is until Ash falls asleep.

Pokeshipping is real

So I rewatched misty meets her match and I can’t believe people didn’t believe Pokeshipping was real after it. Rudy was a gym leader in the orange islands who took an interest in Misty. He was literally her “perfect” match.

It’s also one of the only episodes where ash gets jealous over Misty. Just to add on Ash never got jealous over any other female companion in the series. Rudy gave her attention and ash didn’t like it multiple times in the episode. Ex:when Rudy gave ash togepi and took misty to dance and when he was taking the test given by Rudy.

Some people may argue that Ash wasn’t jealous in the test scene just upset that Rudy wasn’t taking him serious. Which I could understand IF they didn’t add the scene where Ash accidentally took out charizard after. Ash was so taken a back at Rudy flirting with misty that he made a mistake soon after.

Rudy also ended up asking Misty to stay with them. In the match with Rudy and Ash she looked conflicted the whole time. Rudy ended up dedicating winning the match to her in the last round yet she still chose to cheer on Ash. Do you understand how huge that is? For someone who like you to dedicate a match to you yet you chose the cheer on and support the competition.

In the end of the episode Ash wins and Rudy sees them off letting misty know he knows her decision without even saying it. Rudy also tells Ash he’s a really lucky guy and both ash and misty are speechless and confused because they didn’t realize their feelings for each other yet. Rudy saw it though just like a bunch of other characters have seen it.

Also I would like to add how the latest MPM series referenced the red string of fate when misty returned and she literally caught ash with her fishing string. I know misty said it about clauncher but it also represented ash and misty and how they alway find each other again. Same episode in which ash isn’t dense.

Another hint I found was also in the 3rd episode of that series. When they went to save Brock with Cilan. Ash and misty were going to head to him once they found him but were stopped by cilan. That didn’t stop Ash though as he later went after Brock alone but misty tried stopping him as she reached her arm out for him because she was worried. She was fine going with him before but him going alone made her worry. Reminded me of that scene in the Pokémon 2000 movie where misty literally said ash was never alone because he had her.

And finally a hint I noticed in ep 4 of the new series. Ash got injured due to falling through the ground with tunderbear. He told it to climb up with Pikachu and oshawott to let Brock and misty know about him. He mentioned Brock first in that scene. Later in that episode it’s shown Brock and misty were worried over ash. Brock stood but misty was on the ground trying to look down as close as she could to see him while worried. When Ash finally starts to manage to get back up with his Pokémon thanks to tunderbear achieving control in his power misty is the first to notice Ash even though it was tough to see him because of how far he was. Brock only sees ash after he gets closer up. Ash calls out for them this time but interestingly he calls out for misty first and then Brock. Meanwhile Pikachu calls out for Brock first in the same scene. My guess is ash knew misty would be really worried about him and that’s why he called her out first to reassure her he was fine.

Okay fuck it. The Discord has helped me make a new AU.

BNHA!Pokemon but this time it's Mystery Dungeon! So they're actual Pokemon instead of just trainers with Pokemon.

It actually works really well because like. Heroes = Explorers. Hero Agencies = Guilds. So on and so forth. UA is basically a training Guild for new Explorers to learn the ropes.

Uh. So who is what Pokemon? Fuck we're gonna get complicated.

One thing of note is that all the kids are first stage Evolutions because ya know. Baby. They're probably going to evolve over the course of the series but I'll list where they start

Izuku - combining the original pokemon au's thing of Izuku not realizing what Legendaries are and the monster au's Changeling thing. Izuku is a Mew that thinks he's a Shaymin. Kind of a 'Mewthree' actually? Long story we'll come back to it.

Katsuki - Riolu (it evolves with FRIENDSHIP just fuckin kill me!)

Ochako - Cleffa! Cute round pink motherfucker from space!

Kirishima - Sandshrew (technically ground not rock but I have a reason and it's a VIBE)

Kaminari - Pichu(BABY PLEASE)

Jiro - Noibat

Tsu - Froakie

Aoyama - Staryu

Fumikage - Murkrow

Hagakure - Kecleon

Sero - Spinark

Ojiro - Aipom

Sato - Milcrey (but like. Big.)

Toya is a Kantonian Ninetails but he got the Alolan's Snow Cloak ability.

Natsuo is the opposite, being Alolan but with Flash Fire.

Fuyumi is full Alola

Shoto is still a chimera so both Kanto and Alola.

Now we circle back to Izuku's fuckery!

So like. We're kinda rolling with the fact that the Mystery Dungeon games happen post-Human Apocalypse? (possibly using the events of Detective Pikachu as how that happened?)

Which leads to having AfO being a very old and VERY pissed off Mewtwo.

Part of what he was doing was kind of a cycle of bullshit that involved trying to recreate himself/recreate the original Mew. Which resulted in Izuku being made.

Izuku is unaware of this, as he escaped pretty soon after waking up(probs teleported his ass out lmao). He's lost and confused and his instincts have him use Transform to turn into the nearest other Pokemon, which happens to be Inko who is a Shaymin. Inko thinks she just happened across an abandoned hatchling and goes 'well my baby now!'.

There really isn't a direct translation for being Quirkless with Izuku. I think the best thing would be that since he's not actually a Shaymin and isn't aware he can use transform, Gracidea Flowers have no affect on him. So he gets a bit othered for being a little fucky in that regard. But it's not quite the same.

If you were given elemental powers, which element would you pick (and why, if you feel like elaborating)?

Elements aren't limited to the classical western/eastern elements, even though they count. But you can pick "weird" elements as well.

Hikaru: Lightning, obviously, that's kind of my thing. I mean, my name itself means light, but in practice I'm a lightning user, just like Pikachu. Also we have a Light and Darkness user in Loaño, just want to throw that out there.

Naota: Hmm, Juniper isn't here but I get the feeling she's wood or plant elemental. But I can't say for sure. Any thoughts Juniper? @fluffybunnybadass

Fletcher: I like birds so I kind of want Wind but also I kind of feel some attachment to Darkness for no particular reason... so maybe that?

Ham: Hmm Water, Wind, Electricity combo. I don't care if three feels unfair, that's what feels right to me. No particular reason really.

Justin: Honestly, I feel like I'd be a Non-Elemental type. Like a Normal type in Pokémon. Just don't feel much affinity either way.

Aron: I'm Darkness all around, guess we're going some overlap. But unless you want us to all get really weird, it's only natural.

Erica: Grass type all the way. I love plants.

Naota: Well if we're all gravitating toward Pokémon types I want to be a Fairy. Maybe. Either that or a Cat Type. Cat Type works. I just vibe with those options.

Ham: Oh, maybe I can be Dragon then.

Yukari: Hmm, Insect maybe? Or Light~ if we break back away from Pokémon. Oh maybe I can be Astral, like in Cassette Beasts.

Montana: Hmmm, really no clue.

Alicia: Me neither.

Yuu: Time. In several Tales of games, Time is an Element. Or at least one of the games features Time as an Element. Even I don't have perfect memory.

Montana: Oh I like Time.

Alicia: Same.

Yukari: Wait, wasn't there also an Elemental Element in Eternia? I mean, other than a dumb sounding name that might be fun.

Yuu: Yes, it had an association with Space, as in spacial magic. Might be perfect for the teleporting Horse Holder.

Naota: Oh that does work, I was thinking maybe Wind, but Space works too. Or maybe Fighting. I mean, nothing. It'd be her call anyway.

Sonya: I... feel like I have an association with Darkness at this point, though I am not particularly fond of it. You know what, I pick Bubblegum. I'm a Bubblegum type.

Naota: Bubbles are cool- oh maybe I can be Peppermint Elemental. Or a dual type. Peppermint Fairy.

Carmen: Oh this all sounds fun. I think I want to be either Fairy like in Pokémon or borrow from Cassette Beasts and be an Astral Type.

Daichi: Just gonna be boring and say Earth.

Daisuke: I'm a fighting type.

Arc: I feel like the obvious answer would be Water type. I mean, two of my 'aumakua are se creatures. But I don't know if I vibe with it that much.

Owen: If Inari was here he'd probably sya Fighting type. Either that or he'd try to come up with something super cool. Like God Type. I myself feel like leaning toward Psychic Type.

Mr. Aldaine: I like fishing, so I have to say Water.

Roxanne: Is there a Healing type specifically, I want to Heal people. Err that's usually Light based I guess. I just want to heal people.

Velicia: Wow this team seems unbalanced. I guess Fire just ro round things out maybe? I don't feel particularly attached to any to be honest.

A Road Further, Chapter 2: A Champion's Trials

A Road Further is the story of the Paldea trio going on various adventures as life goes on for them after the events of Violet.

Sorry this took so long, everyone! I accidentally wrote two chapters for Nemona (I thought I could stuff more into one chapter than I managed to) instead of one. The next chapter of hers will be released tomorrow after I fix it up.

Nemona woke to the sound of blinds being pulled back and a sudden light falling on her.

“Time to get up, mi hija,” came Geeta’s voice

Nemona blearily opened her eyes. Geeta was already dressed in another of her suits- grey this time- and looked alert and alive. This didn’t strike Nemona as surprising until she turned to the alarm clock and saw that it was 5:30 AM.

Wow, how does she do it? Nemona wondered as she rolled out of bed.

“You have fifteen minutes to shower. After that, we’ll get you styled for the day and discuss your team options over breakfast,” Geeta explained.

Not much later, Geeta was braiding Nemona’s hair into a tight, low braid and explaining the day ahead.

“The first round consists of eight battles, starting at nine and ending at seven.”

“With a one-hour time limit for each, industry standard?”

“Yes. And your battle today is against Leon, scheduled for 1 pm,” Geeta explained, twisting the ponytail elastic around the braid.

Nemona took a look in the mirror. She liked what she saw- she looked so mature and professional, as Geeta’s protégé should.

“This morning we’ll find you something suitable to wear and prepare your team. Let’s go.”

Geeta waited patiently as Nemona sorted through her pc boxes at the hotel’s restaurant table. If only Geeta had told her about this before, she would have prepared by now. But her feelings of failure subsided as she went through the array of creatures she’d trained over the past two treasure hunts and scribbled down the names of any particularly good candidates that crossed her sight.

Nemona looked up to Geeta. “Alright! I’ve got a list of eight candidates for my ace, listed from best to least best. First is pawmot. What do you think?”

Geeta shook her head, the gentle smile still on her face. “A Pokémon from the pikachu family is a bit underwhelming, don’t you think?”

Nemona’s enthusiasm was slightly dampened. “Well, it knows two signature moves, but pawmi is really common… Okay. How’s about lycanrock?”

Geeta shook her head again. “Same problem as the last.”

“Okay, how’s about Skeledirge? It’s big and cool-looking.”

“A starter Pokémon doesn’t seem right for a champion.”

“But… Blue and Kukui use a starter Pokémon. Leon uses two. What makes this different?”

Geeta sighed. “The leagues of the other regions already have good reputations, but the Paldea league has a lot of damage to repair on its own. Everything we do must be perfect. That is why I adopted the image I have, and I expect you to adopt a fitting image as well. Understood?”

“Yes! Absolutely! So, what do you think my ace should be? I’ll go with whatever you say!”

“Very well. Let me see your pc box.”

Nemona handed Geeta her rotom phone. Geeta took her time looking through each box, seemingly quite impressed with Nemona’s work.

“Well, ceruledge would be a good choice,” Geeta said finally, putting the phone down on the table. “It’s strong, noble-looking and native to Paldea. And we don’t have a dark-type specialist in the Paldea league yet or a dark specialist champion anywhere. You could use lokix and borrow my kingambit, and we’ll use shards to turn ceruledge’s tera type to dark. How does that sound?”

Nemona smiled awkwardly. “Well.. okay. The thing is, I haven’t used either of those. Like, at all. They aren’t very well-leveled. And I’ve never really used any dark-type, and...” Nemona trailed off.

Just then, a text from Penny appeared. Nemona snatched up the phone, smiling awkwardly. Nemona loved Penny, but if any of her friends would be saying something La Primera wouldn't approve of, it would be her.

Geeta waited for her to finish.

“And... maybe I should use something I’m more familar with?”

“Sure. Let me see that list of yours.”

Nemona looked down at the list and was hit by a sudden feeling that Geeta wouldn’t like any of her choices. She stuffed it back in her pocket. “Actually, it’s fine."

“Good. And don’t worry about their level. I brought rare candy. For now, let’s worry about your outfit and their movesets. Ready to go?”

"You bet."

Geeta got up and Nemona followed her. As they went, Nemona checked the text.

Hey. Don't let Geeta step on you too much today, it read. Here's what some of her employees say about her. Don't become one of them.

It was followed by a screenshot that Nemona didn't have the time or honestly the care to read. It made sense that Penny didn't like Geeta- she didn't like any authority figures. And she didn't value the Paldea league like Nemona did.

Their next stop was the Lillycove Department Store to figure out her new champion costume. Geeta led her straight to a locally-owned clothing store that did custom designs. It wouldn’t have stood out to most, but Nemona recognized it instantly. This was where Wallace got all his costumes made. This really was the full champion treatment! Following behind Geeta, Nemona looked to the colourful outfits on the racks, searching for inspiration. Not that she hadn’t designed about six different champion outfits for herself in her head, but she needed to choose between them somehow!

“Hello,” Geeta said to the shopkeeper, a grey-haired woman who appeared to be in her sixties. “We’re here to order an outfit for an upcoming champion.”

The woman smiled. “Excellent. Age? Measurements? Gender? Do you have a general idea of what you would like it to look like?”

“It’s this one right here,” Geeta replied, gesturing to Nemona. “You’ll have to take her measurements. She’s a dark-type user, so I’m looking for something solid black. A floor-legnth dress, perhaps, with a jacket in a secondary colour of some sort and black accents. Do you have any suggestions for the second colour?”

The shopkeeper looked Nemona over. “Hmm... I’d say something dark mauve, to contrast her eyes."

Geeta looked to Nemona and examined her as though dressing her in her head. “Yes, I can see that. Well, let’s get the measurements done.”

Geeta put a hand around Nemona’s back and guided her to the back room, where Nemona was made to strip for measurements. It struck her that she hadn’t spoken once since getting there. But it was okay. La Primera knew best. She was sure of it.

As it turned out, because Geeta was looking for something so generic, they had something very similar to it on hand. Geeta got her to try it on. The dress, which was so long it dragged on the floor, said “funeral.” The purple suit jacket said “boardroom.” It wasn’t the friendly, energetic image Nemona had dreamed of having as champion, but if this really was wrong, La Primera would notice, and if she didn’t, well, then this was the image a Paldean champion needed and Nemona would learn to like it.

“Hmm... something about this just isn’t right,” Geeta mused, looking Nemona over.

Finally! Nemona thought, lighting up.

Geeta reached out and tugged a bit of Nemona’s bangs out of the ponytail elastic, letting it fall over one of her eyes. “There. A dark-type user should have a mysterious touch. Later we’ll get you a half-mask instead, but we’re short on time. Now, let’s go figure things out with your team.” With that, they left.

Soon, the two were heading to the arena. Geeta was right about them being short on time- it was eleven, which meant that she had two hours at best to make the connection with her new team, work out their movesets, and get on stage. Geeta led her to the practice fields behind the stadium and took a seat on the bleachers.

“There you are,” Geeta said, handing Nemona her kingambit’s pokéball, three labeled bags of rare candy and a thermos of soup laced with dark tera shards. “Now do your thing.”

Nemona had tried battling with every Pokémon type under the sun, and she loved most of them. It wasn’t that she didn’t like dark types, but, well, yeah, she didn’t like dark types. Poison types turned into total sweeties once they trusted you to respect their boundaries, most ghost types were goofballs that just looked scary, but dark types... once you broke through their aloofness, you were left with creatures whose sense of playfulness was always a bit sadistic and whose reaction to a new person was “how do I stay away” or “how do I take advantage.” And their battle tactics felt like cheating.

But for the Paldea League, she could do this.

Nemona took a deep breath and started rummaging through her bag for the pokéballs containing ceruledge and lokix. She found them and released the trio. The lokix and kingambit glared at her briefly before respectively hopping and hair-gliding off to do their own thing as cerulege stood by and watched them.

“Wait,” Nemona called, trying not to sound desperate. The two creatures turned back to her. Just forget their type, she told herself, maybe it'll be like Arven's mabosstif or Clavel's meowscarada. “Us four are going to be a team the next few days, alright guys? We’re going to win the champion tournament together. Are you with me?”

The two returned to her side, which she took as a yes.

“Alright!” Nemona said, bolder now, “First thing’s first, we gotta get you guys up to the typical level of champion Pokémon, so eat up!” She handed out the bags of rare candy, each of which had been labelled with the Pokémon's name. To the cerulege, she also handed the thermos of dark shard soup. The cerulege observed it coolly, as though suspicious.

“To change your Tera type,” she explained.

Not without hesitation, it drank the soup. Nemona could swear she saw the light in its eyes lessen as it drank. Would it be crafty and aloof like its teammates now? If only it was that easy for humans.

“Alright. Now, why don’t you show me what you’ve got so I can come up with movesets that play to your strengths. You two!” she pointed to the kingambit and cerulege, “Show me what you’ve got!”

The two blade-users lined up about fifteen feet apart on the field. Cerulege’s fiery blades shot out from its hands, and kingambit finally stood up from its throne and drew its own blades. Nemona blinked and they were jousting.

Nemona whipped out her notebook and furiously jotted down notes. Cerulege seemed to have decent speed- more speed than kingambit anyhow- but kingambit was taking physical hits like they were nothing. They both seemed pretty good in physical attack.

Cerulege ran a few steps back and hit kingambit with a flamethrower. It wasn’t a very impressive flamethrower, but it knocked the kingambit to the ground, seemingly dealing a lot of damage. Nemona took a mental note not to send kingambit out against special attackers and to replace flamethrower with a physical fire move.

Enraged, the kingambit stood up again and delivered a sucker punch to cerulege. It then called upon lokix and they took turns kicking it while it was down- a move Nemona knew as “beat up.” Finally, kingambit flung its held item- a metal plate- at cerulege, knocking it out cold.

Nemona cringed. Maybe she could do away with those moves- they weren’t very versatile anyhow. It suddenly occurred to her that lokix was also a physical attacker. What if Leon used a physical wall? Dark-type moves were full of tricks. Maybe they had a trick for this. She could work with this. She had to.

It felt like no time at all before Geeta informed Nemona that she had five minutes left to choose movesets before they had to move into the stadium. They entered the changing room and Geeta began touching up her outfit and coaching her on her presentation while Nemona watched the broadcast screen.

Leon strode into the arena with his charizard flying overhead a few feet behind him. He took his place, struck his signature pose, and let his charizard fly over him, making his cape and long purple hair flow in the wind. The crowd went wild.

As Nemona watched the screen from the changing room, Geeta gave Nemona’s jacket a final tug. “Best of luck,” she said. Nemona nodded and stepped out.

Sky and Riven finding out that their boyfriend is a Pokemon trainer and meeting his partner Pokemon Pikachu and Eevee.

When their boyfriend, Y/N, told Sky and Riven that he was a Pokémon trainer, they gave him confused looks as they’ve never heard of a Pokémon trainer before. Apparently, a Pokémon trainer is a person who catches, trains, cares for, and battles with Pokémon. Magical creatures with extraordinary powers and abilities. Some of them had elemental powers like fire, water, or lightning. Others were given the power of dragons, fairies, or ghosts.

A trainer traveled all over the world battling against other people with Pokémon and putting their skills to the test against those with superior skills called Gym leaders. In hopes of beating the Elite four and gaining entrance into the Pokémon league and beating the Champion Pokémon trainer.

So, when Y/N offered to introduce his boyfriends to his Pokémon, they were excited. They waited on the Peters’s couch as Y/N came down the stairs dressed in a Pokémon traveler style of clothes.

“Is that what Pokémon trainers wear?” Sky asked.

“Yeah, doesn’t seem like a lot of coverage for any travel,” Riven said.

“I guess making it easier to move in?” Y/N shrugged. “Are you guys already to meet my partner, Pokémon?”

Sky and Riven nodded as Y/N brought out two round devices that were red on top, and white on the bottom with a black outline. He clicked the center of the ball as they grew bigger in his hands as he tossed them up, before they opened as a bright flash of light came out of them as two figures began to materialize in front of the Specialists.

The two boys blinked at the creatures standing before them. The first one is a small, mammalian, quadrupedal Pokémon with primarily brown fur. The tip of its bushy tail and its large furry collar are cream-colored. It has short, slender legs with three small toes and a pink paw pad on each foot. It had purple eyes, long pointed ears with dark brown interiors, and a small black nose.

“Vee? Eevee?” The creature with brown fur looked at Riven and Sky curiously.

“This is Eevee, the Evolution Pokémon. It has the potential to evolve into one of eight different types of Pokémon. Depending on the stone used on it, or the environment and conditions that it’s in.” Eevee walked up to Riven and gave him a sniff before it jumped up and down around him.

“I think he likes you, Riv,” Y/N said. “And finally…”

A short, chubby rodent, Pokémon, came up to them. It was covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back. It had a small mouth, long, pointed ears with black tips, and brown eyes. Each cheek has a red circle, and it has short forearms with five fingers on each paw, and its feet each had three toes. At the base of its lightning bolt-shaped tail is a patch of brown fur.

“This is Pikachu. The Mouse Pokémon. An electric type.”

Pikachu walked up to Sky, before jumping on his shoulders as it rubbed its soft red cheeks on him. “Cha… Pika-Pikachu.” Sky nervously rubs his chin as Pikachu melts into his touch as Riven giggles with Eevee.

Y/N smiled gently. They were all getting along great. “I think it’s time we caught you guys your own Pokémon.”

“What, seriously?”

“I don’t see why not. I can show you guys how.”

Sky and Riven looked at each other before looking at Y/N. “Sounds perfect, Babe.”

Later on, Y/N helped Sky and Riven catch a Riolu and Piplup, respectively.

They were in love with their new Pokémon as they took them back to the Otherworld with them. Sky and Riolu were inseparable. They trained, ate, and slept together. When Sky would train with his swords, Riolu would practice its moves as it tried to be the best Pokémon that it could be for its trainer.

Riven and Piplup bonded when they went into the woods, where Riven liked to smoke and be alone for a while. He would sit on a rock and light his joint as Piplup swam in a nearby lake. He chuckles.

hi i would like to talk about three specific breeds of pikachu

domestic, feral, and wild

so, i have a pikachu who is of the wild breed variety which has made me realize just how different the feral and domestic breeds look to the wild breeds and people dont even really realize this because the feral and domestic breeds are what are seen most often since pikachu breed really face and in large quaintities

so if a domestic breed gets loose in an area with mostly wild breeds then its time to say goodbye to that areas wild breeds because all of their offspring will be feral breeds before long

and wild breeds and kinda hard to find because they tend to be in rural areas and secluded areas and stuff

anyways, this

is a wild breed (i took a photo of my pikachu for this /silly) but anyways. wild breeds tend to have more angular and long faces which allows for more cheek space to store food when travelling around along with allowing for larger electric sacs. they also have longer, more dexterous fingers which makes grabbing and holding things a lot easier! they also have longer back legs which is perfect for running from predators and the like! wild breeds also tend to be smaller than their domestic and feral counterparts!

this

is a domestic breed! this obviously isnt all the domestic breeds but its the base most domestic breeds work from yknow? anyways. they tend to be more round but not in body fat but rather shape. their faces have also grown shorter due to people finding short and rounder faces cuter than long and angular ones. due to this their cheeks and electric sacs tend to be smaller than their wild counterparts. their fingers and back legs also tend to be shorter due to it adding onto the "cute" appearance.

this

is a feral breed! they tend to take more after their domestic parentage than their wild ones, at least for the first few generations, but do take on more body fat with their ears become sharper and back legs becoming longer. they also tend to be bigger than their wild parentage.

A few hours later you and Dean confirmed what your next step of action was going to be and that was go talk to the people of the town. Then you both feel asleep wrapped up around each other. When you both woke the next morning you double checked what the plan was again. You ate breakfast, made out and then made your way towards the town centre. You checked in on Sam first, seeing that he was still sleeping you both became concerned. “You should stay here with him” you confirmed “I’ll find out what’s happening in the town” “You can’t, not on your own " Dean stated. “Dean, Sammy's your brother, you need to be with him, I’ll be fine” and with that you walked out in to the town While walking through the town centre you approached a few couples. “Hi” you tried to sound friendly and confident " I’m Y/n " “Ahh yes we know” the first couple said taking your hand and shaking it. “You do?” you cocked an eyebrow. “Of course” they smiled “I take it you had fun last night, the energy round here was abundant, definitely lit up the town.” Your face turned red but couldn’t help but smile at the same time. “It’s okay " the couple reassured “when ever a couple here makes love it gives energy to the town.” “So you all aren’t here against your will?” you asked The couple laughed and clung to each other tighter, “not at all, our love only increases here. As will yours. You both have such chemistry it will only bring life to our town.” “But don’t you miss home, your family?” You questioned. " Well that’s it, the town is only open for those who have no family, but have found love in their soul mate, our life here is perfect” they continued “and you two will love it here.” It was the same statement you found through out the town, everyone was in love and didn’t feel trapped at all, in fact it was the opposite. As you made your way back to the bed and breakfast, Dean and you couldn’t help but think about Sam, why was he the only one not flourishing. Then it hit you. You ran the rest of the way to the bed and breakfast and seeing the manager at the front desk you rushed past him and up to the room. “Dean, I need you out front now " You demanded. Dean ran after you and you both halted at the check in desk. “How can I help you ? The receptionist asked, you took out your gun and pointed it at him. " release my friend, right now.” “What ever do you mean? " the receptionist asked. “You know very well what the fuck I mean, release my friend right now” You grew more angry " you know just because he isn’t here with a soul mate doesn’t mean he doesn’t love, that man up there is the most loving man any one will ever know. Weather you are his friend or family he will love you until his dying breath. So who is it to decide weather his love is less then anyone else’s here , now let him go” you cocked your gun and pointed it in to the crowd that had gathered. With that the mayor had finally stepped up and proclaimed you three can leave you are not bound here. " And what about these citizens? how do I know they don’t want to be free?” You shouted. The mayor stepped forward and shouted “anyone else here that wants to leave can with these people” but no-one moved. " You see this town is only fuelled by love, the people here are in love. They aren’t here by force.” You contemplated for a while then nodded to Dean who ran up to the room to see Sam, while you stood facing the crowd with your gun in hand. After a few minutes Dean emerged with a very groggy Sam and loaded him in to the car. He rushed over to you once Sam was safe " Stay behind me Pikachu.” “Always” you answered nervously putting your helmet on hoping the town would actually let you go. Once you crossed that line you sighed a sigh of relief.. but also sadness. You were surprised by the tears that rolled down your cheeks at the thought of the life you could have had with Dean. As you looked back the town was gone. After a few days on the road you finally reached the road house. You and Dean helped Sam up to their room and then you went down stairs and hugged Ellen. “Was it that bad?” she asked worried “Not at all it would have been perfect if they didn’t try and kill Sam” You said sadly laughing. Ellen hugged you tightly. “You and Dean are perfect together y/n that’s all you need to believe "

Thanks for the tag, @booksandabeer! This was extremely difficult and I look forward to kicking myself in a week when I remember some other show that's 20% of my personality but I totally blanked on when making this list.

Star Trek The Next Generation

TNG imprinted on me in 4th or 5th grade. I'd watch it every night before dinner and have lots of opinions about the holodeck and Data. Did I put a headband in front of my eyes and call it LaForge's visor? Yes. Did I unironically love the cheesy episodes like Rascals, The Game, and Disaster? Absolutely. It was also my intro to fannishness, pre-internet. One of my friend's dads had a stack of action figures, and a Riker uniform he'd break out at Halloween. I remember being confused by his whole deal, but mostly thinking it was really cool.

Flight of the Conchords

I saw this promo before the first season premiered and was instantly sold, it was so silly and unassuming. I was in college which is just. the perfect age to find everything about it delightful and hilarious and to be low-key in love with both Bret and Jemaine. I'm pretty sure I've thought about some lyric or throwaway line or small facial expression every day since 2007.

New Girl

I made myself limit this list to only one 2000s/2010s network comedy. New Girl edged out The Office, Parks & Rec, Community, 30 Rock, and even my beloved dark horse, Happy Endings. It's pure comfort. Every character is the best character.

Severance

I will not rest until everyone is as obsessed with this show as me. I've already watched season 1 three times, and I'll probably watch it all the way through again before season 2 comes out. It just hits all my buttons. Eerie weirdness! Sci-fi elements explored at a very personal, human level! Retro corporate dystopian branding and decor! Random moments of absurdity! Existential dread! Defiant jazz!

The Magicians

One doesn't keep up a semi-active sideblog for four years (?!!) and counting for a show without being permanently altered and irreparably damaged by it. One day, a work friend and I were talking tv and she went, "you would like this show! I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but you would like it!" For better or worse... she was not wrong. (On the fandom side, the fic for this show is just exquisite. The art, edits, and gifs are impeccable. I'm grateful it compelled me to start making stuff more regularly. Fussy, high-effort stuff!)

Better Call Saul

I know, I know *pikachu surprised face* that this one made the list. Y'know that post that makes the rounds every once in awhile, about 'ships and fictional relationships that's like, "sure they're in love or whatever. But, like... do they even like each other?" I think this silly lawyer prequel to the crime-and-drugs show accidentally became the best display of two people who like and love each other on tv. (Also yes, everything else about it is A++. Meticulous. Stressful. Exhilarating. No notes.)

Simpsons (Seasons 1-8ish)

This feels like an embarrassingly basic answer, but my personality really is just several early seasons of The Simpsons in a trench coat. It's what shaped my sense of humor. It's the foundation of my marriage. It's why I knew what Citizen Kane was at eight years old.

Pushing Daisies

Pushing Daisies was one of the first times I felt like, "oh! Someone made a show for me specifically!" Every single element was a feast for the eyes, from the saturated colors, to the quirky, overly literal sets, to Chuck's outfits, to Lee Pace's face. Baking AND knitting were heavily featured in every episode! There was a cute romance with supernatural complications. There was whimsical, fairy tale-style Jim Dale narration!

Runners up include: Tuca & Bertie, Buffy, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, Mad Men, Home Movies, Legion, WandaVision, The Mandalorian, and Lost.

With the announcement of Pokémon Squishmallows Wave 1 with Pikachu and Gengar, here are some Pokémon that I want a Squishmallow of or can see getting one:

•Eevee is 100% getting one; it's become one of the mascots

•I can see them having a Gen 9 starters wave to promote the game, though Wave 1 is officially coming out in Autumn so the timing to promote the game with Gen 9 starters squishmallows may not work out

•Snorlax is squishable. Snorlax squishmallow is required.

•Lechonk would be incredible. I personally can't wait for Gen 9 marketing for specifically Lechonk

•Jigglypuff is just a perfect squishmallow

•My friend wants a Raichu squishmallow and I 100% support this

•Ninetails has potential to be a really cool squishmallow but it'd be really difficult so probably not

•The original trio starters will probably get a wave, and I think Bulbasaur would be an amazing squishmallow. Squirtle would also work rather well

•Arceus might get one

•Assuming the waves are still coming out by the time the next Legends game comes out, I can see that game's legendary getting one as promotional material

•Pachirisu simply cause I love it

•Morpeko wave of hangry and normal would be a very easy one: two designs for one Pokémon that gained some popularity and the Morpeko would translate well into a squishmallow

•Mimikyu would be literally adorable and amazing and you can not convince me otherwise

•I adore Torracat but that won't happen

•I can see Mew getting one and I'd love it

•Marill would be wonderful for so many reasons I could write an essay

•Togepi is round and adorable

•Solosis. It's literally a blob

•I can see then pulling a Magikarp on us

•Munna and Musharna have always given squishy vibes and cuddly vibes and literally eat dreams it's perfect

•Togedemaru. Tell me you don't want to squish the lil guy I dare you

•Drifloon could either be pulled off perfectly or horribly based on how the treat the strings

•Spheal. That's all I'll say.

• Voltorb would work but I wouldn't get it

•Oddish please for the love of god

•Wooloo will happen and it should

•Not sure Furrett would work but if done successfully it'd be elegant and masterful and I'd buy it in seconds I will go into bankrupcy for it

•Poliwag would be so precious

last of us 1x07 left behind

left behind is like. my fave dlc ever so i was anxious for this one

I anticipated from the start this episode would be unpopular with both the action-oriented crowd (who I... have to assume aren't really enjoying this show at all at this point? lol) and homophobes, so I'm unsurprised to see it ranking lower with people and getting reviewbombed by losers

but TOO BAD it's an episode for ME

I've been liking Bella Ramsey more and more as the series goes on but this episode really clinched it for me I think, I felt she gave a great performance and all those longing looks and mixed emotions around Riley all ep were super well done. I'm sure some people were still shocked Pikachu by the kiss bc that's how dense the audience is sometimes but Ramsey was really giving it their all. Adjusting her hair in front of the window fjlghlksg... The awkward ping-ponging between trying to seem cool and unaffected, trying to impress Riley in both more adult ways (like fixing her hair, drinking the booze) and such kiddie ways (showing off on the escalator)... very good

Storm Reid's Riley was very good as well. I thought the tension between the two of them -- not just the romantic tension but like, both trying to have fun while ignoring the elephant in the room, etc, was well played.

They got a bit luckier in some places here than in the DLC (Riley got to ride the carousel too; the photobooth actually printed, albeit a washed out shitty copy; the arcade WORKED) which felt like kind of nice compensation and a nice way to adapt it to a passive medium lol.

This was quite a faithful adaptation despite changing some of the core conflict between Riley and Ellie. I don't mind the changes... I really loved the "you mattered to me first" exchange, you can really feel all of Ellie's Issues, poor kid. I also felt Riley's impending sewer assignment vs Ellie on the officer fast track was an interesting contrast.

I realize the Firefly pendants are an in-game collectible, so putting them on screen doesn't really make sense (and if you think about it, having a token on you that instantly identifies you as a rebel to FEDRA is simply just Not a good strategy LOL) ... but I did miss it in this ep because Riley ripping the Firefly pendant off her neck when Ellie asks her to stay is imo more powerful than Riley just going "okay". I mean I know Riley meant that "okay" geuinely, but lol, doesn't hit the same.

My biggest reservation this episode was probably that I'm still not really ...sure about/comfortable with the Both Sides-ing of FEDRA and the Fireflies. (I know some fans will scream up and down about how the Fireflies were always some evil sinister shadow org or whatever but 🙄 lmfao) The Ellie-Riley-Marlene relationship being changed I'm on the fence about until we see the rest of Marlene's backstory... I feel like it could go either way depending what they do. I suppose the Fireflies were always a bit morally gray....

But the softening of FEDRA is very questionable to me lol -- Riley's clearly right that Ellie is parroting propaganda, but I think we're also meant to agree with Ellie that Riley doesn't know what the Fireflies are really doing, and that Riley is parroting THEIR propaganda, and I just... like... I dunno man. FEDRA is pretty awful. FEDRA rounded up citizens and then shot them all and left the bodies in a ditch. FEDRA uses the death penalty for minor infractions. They overthrew the government in a military coup. Dwight Schrute voice FEDRA are the bad guys Jim.

Other notes:

-loved the water gun reference, hehe

-I was so happy for them getting to play the actual arcade games mlao

-OMG the masks are like pixel perfect to the game...

-miss u skeleseer ... you live in my heart

-it felt like a stretch to me that Spirit Halloween would be Ellie's fave (hence saved for last) after the other things were SO cool lol

-I get why people missed current-day Ellie scavenging in the mall but I think it would've been mostly meaningless on the show, and having her tear the house apart to find some needle and thread worked the same really

ok since i’m so hyped here are my predictions for mikus pokemon and designs (and vocaloP) for project voltage: (disclaimer, the vocaloP choices are probably super unrealistic im not super knowledgeable on vocaloP and i don’t know who they could reasonably get this is just my very limited and biased view)

🌊water: primarina (already confirmed)

🔥fire: skeledirge (already confirmed)

🌱grass: rillaboom (already confirmed)

⚪️normal: ok i’m gonna be pissed if either normal or fairy isn’t jigglypuff. fits the music/singing theme perfectly AND is pokemon #39 which is the miku number. if they’re cowards or put jigglypuff in the fairy slot, then i could see exploud or chatot for the music theme or maybe even lopunny for the twintails? oh or obv farfetchd cuz it was in the kei art. probably farfetchd.

this design might be closest to regular miku. or they take it in a lass/schoolgirl direction?

Oster project would be cute for this one i think! or 40mp

❄️ice: Alolan Vulpix, cuz there was already a pokemon x miku crossover with alolan vulpix. maybe lapras or frosslass or amaura tho if they don’t go with that.

gotta be tons of pale blue, maybe some pink thrown in. i wonder if they’re gonna go with the cute route or the elegant route. ooh maybe she’ll be snow miku-y
