His lips were only mere inches from hers as he looked down to study her face. “What I want to know is why you are denying what is clearly between us.” He said as he felt his heart racing in his chest. All he wanted to know was why she was so determined to deny them both happiness.

Owen always enjoyed the holidays, because in his family it was a time where they got to spend a lot of time together. Which was a tradition he planned to keep with his now growing family of his own. Which was why he was now hauling a tree through the house to find the perfect place for it to sit before him and Aubree decorated it. The man sat the tree down and took a couple of steps away from it before he turned to his wife. “What about here?” Owen asked as he wanted her to be happy with it as well. It would be much easier to move now before the bulbs and things were on it.

RESTAGED TOUR COSTUME QUIRKS THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT PAST THE UK (or early US Tour days)
OPPOSITE CLOSURE: To ease the fastening of the safety harness during the descend to the lair, the opening of Christine's white dressing gown was moved from the left to the right side. The Hannibal bodice also got an additional fastening panel on the left side. These two details was kept for most Christines in the US, but not for Australia or Austria.
THE PHANTOM'S BUSHY EYEBROW: It is intentionally painted like this, and a most peculiar detail that never made it into the US or elsewhere. But in the UK it was definitely a thing.
THE WHITE SYLVAN GLADES: I assume they weren meant to be inspired by Romanesque tunics of the antiquity. They never saw the light of day after the Restaged UK Tour ended in 2013. Nor have I missed them, to be honest.
STAR PRINCESS, TAKE ONE: Black stockings and white shoes for a pink and blue costume you say? Huh? That look only lasted a few weeks, if not days. But it made it into the souvenir brochure, and long after they had changed the whole costume they kept using this one promo photo. It even appeared in ads for the current Viennese production. So here it is. But the look itself is long-gone.
RED DEATH MASK: This golden mask would split down the middle during the scene, creating a vertical golden half-mask. I don't know if the audience missed the moment or if it malfunctioned too often, but as the tour opened in the US Red Death only wore the vertical half-mask, and not the full thing.
THE... PURPLE... For mysterious reasons Carlotta's b/w dress and Masquerade dress was fitted with purple details.
PEARL EARRINGS: For the Managers scene and the rest of the second act Christine wore drop-shaped pearl earrings in the UK. That went for both Katie Hall and Olivia Brereton. I don't think this detail ever made it into the US or elsewhere.
SATIN WEDDING DRESS: This was only worn by Katie Hall in the UK leg of the tour, as far as I can tell. Alternate Olivia Brereton and u/s Leigh Coggins wore elder silvery UK dresses with decorations. But Hall's dress was made of cream satin, and fairly undecorated. Julia Udine also wore this look briefly when the tour opened in the US, but with added decorations. All other US Christines did however wear standard US or UK dresses. Later productions it looks like the leads at least has gotten new and decorated UK versions of the costume. So this is another short-lived costume tweak.
(a lot has happened with the costumes in general and styling in particular - especially in Masquerade - so I tried to concentrate on major changes, or those seen amongst the leads)
