“well isn’t this a sight to behold.” you announce your arrival, knowing full well that jisung was engrossed enough to not notice an entire person walking in through the door.

he looked up, headphones looped around his neck as he tapped his pencil on the table. a huge smile broke out on his tired face as he welcomed you with open arms.

"there she is." he sighed, waiting for you to hug him.

you shook your head with a soft smile, walking to the table to place the bags on the table before heading to him.

jisung engulfed you in a warm hug, sighing his exhaustion away as you patted his back. "you've been working hard." you pointed out, breaking the hug as you placed a swift kiss to his lips.

he nodded, pursing his lips as he placed his pencil and headphones down. "i really need to get shit done before the jeju schedules. god knows how busy we'll be with the album release coming up in two months after that."

you nodded in understanding, bringing your hands to his hair to play with the sft strands. he leaned into your touch, letting you soothe his scalp.

"you're doing good. im proud of you." you mumbled, knowing full well that every word was true. jisung was a hard worker, along with his entire group. but needless to say, he worked a lot more in comparison when it came to songwriting. especially since he had a bunch of solo skz players to release in the coming year.

"thanks y/n. means a lot." he shifted, getting up to hug you better.

"and here he is again." you sighed and he chuckled.

"i am just hugging you? what? you know i can't go a long time without touching you!" he protested, making you hold a giggle as you pushed him away.

"enough talking. eat first. i know you must not have had anything today." you scolded him, reaching for the bags you'd bought.

“yes that’s just what i needed, i’m starving” he rolled his eyes, reaching over and grabbing a box to open it and dig in. it all happened too fast and he was now stuffing his cheeks and seeing that made you smile.

“you’re looking at me like you’re my mom” he remarked with a teasing face and you cackled at that, hitting his arm gently. “oh you, not really mom but mommy maybe?” you teased back and he turned red, making you crack a wider smile. “oh your adorable, now eat up so i can actually see some of your work” you added.

“yup! at your service ma’am!” he gave you a mock salute and quickly ate, while you tried to slow him down so he won’t choke, but he was like a stubborn kid and hellbent.

“no no! i need to make you listen to my tunes!!” he called out with his stuffed face, making you smile at his adorable face.

oh seeing these boys happy was really all you needed.
