Orphan - What scared your oc most as a child? Was this fear rational or irrational? How does it compare to your oc as an adult?

Rejection due to not conforming enough. If you didn't fit the mold then you we're ceremoniously thrown off the island into the clouds below. If it wasn't for his parents high standing he would have been killed at birth. But instead was tolerated. Being the only biological son of The Silver Dragon (all others he built himself) his true father's genes showed themselves during a moment of great distress earning him death. Thankfully they didn't know he had wings.

His mother lied to everyone about his true father making him think his adoptive father was his true one.

Now as an adult he doesn't care. The only thing that matters is the next right thing and keeping his new family safe, from the world and themselves.

When you work 2 jobs so don't have as much time to draw. So just shaded this one minimally lol. Anyway I incorporated my OC and his Dads as Garleans in FFXIV so here they are! :D

Aoshiro 'Shiro' sas Corvus (Light blue armor) is the 2nd child and pariah of House Corvus. Experimented on as a child to alleviate his 'useless' status, Shiro was made so that he could live in the frozen lands of Garlemald with little difficulty but made it so that he could never leave its cold borders, otherwise it is lethal. Abandoned by house Corvus, Shiro was raised by his pact made Voidsent and the Commander who took him under his wing.

Rahuul 'Ra' (Elezen) is a Voidsent from the Thirteenth, summoned by Shiro when he was a child to wrought vengeance on the scientists who hurt him and to make a friend. At first, he agreed to their pact thanks to Shiro's unique aether but eventually grew to are for him as time passed. Now he acts as Shiro's Guardian and makes it a pass time to get under Commander Jareel's skin. His Pact is that in return for his power (and companionship), Ra has free access to Shiro's aether whenever he wants until his death.

Jareel rem Silvus (Small Garlean) was held in high esteem before falling from grace after being found consorting with a conscripted 'savage'. Assigned to the cold borders of Garlemald, he took a then young Shiro under his wing when he realized the child was guarding the borders alone. Although Shiro is higher ranked, he mostly takes command of their slowly growing contingent of rebelling conscripts and disillusioned soldiers. He sees Shiro as his son and has conflicted feelings on the Voidsent, Ra.

As Silvis drifted off into his dreams, he heard a voice call out to him..it seemed faint..

"Do not give into their ways, Silvis...for there is always a dark side.."

Silvis would be holding two very bright lights in his hands, as one was blue, and one was red. Silvis knew who this faint yet so much familiar voice was, as he said while he slowly opened his eyes.

"I know it's you, father."

1. Who inspires you to write?

Everybody really. Anyone can be a source of inspiration and imagination for me. Or, in some rare cases, they can points for me to stay away from as to not end up making a caricature of someone or something I love and tarnishing their image for myself.

2. How did you come up with your first OC?

Honestly? It's me. They're me. An ideal me, a broken me. Just, a multitude of facets of me mixed into a brand new person that was molded by the world he lives in. I guess, he's already my opposite in a way.

3. Where are you most comfortable writing?

Don't look, don't talk, make a noise I break your knee. (Omg, I'm so sorry I didn't actually mean to break it!)

4. Why are you writing your current WIP? Is there something specific in it you want in the world?

Writing is... Basically non existent but, I do wanna eventually finish it for many reasons. I want to make people think, to build fandom, help people, make people find hope and smile and find reason to see what the sky looks like tomorrow. I want to change the world in my own mundane way.

5. Do you prefer plot driven stories or character driven stories?

I'm not picky, if your story is hook, line and sinker, why should I care how it's written?

6. Do any of your OC's have pets? If not, what one pet would they choose to have?

Not that I know of honestly but, let's now. Allan, would have a husky I think or a bearded dragon. Bianca probably a deer, Mr white, a cat, yeah a cute cat. Kid Venom too, a black one. Silvus, probably a moss ball haha, he can barely take care of his own feelings and wants let alone and entire being that can't communicate it's needs to him. Crocs-zen, he'd want a big fluffy dog or a cute cat. Maybe birds and butterflies. Kyle, a boa. Scorpion, turtle. Am I forgetting someone? Oh, well.

7. What is your biggest pet peeve in writing?

Uh.... Distracting myself with my tangent thoughts? (Is that even the word? Did I slip into math by accident?)

8. E-readers or physical books?

Books! I understand the appeal of e-readers but I love the heft of a big book and just being able to see my library of worlds! My own multiverse!

9. Who or what inspired your OC's?

I cannot answer that really, it's a plethora of things. Books, of course, video games, world struggles, etc etc.

10. What's your favourite part about writing?

People's compliments on my originality and creativity. It helps make my existence... Understandable.

11. 1rst person point of view or 3rd? (Or 2nd?)

Whatever fits the narrative best! But, I guess I'm a sucker for first person (Thanks Mr. Riordan!)
