i like characters whose shadow casts the story. like simon petrikov doesnt haunt the narrative, but adventure time couldnt exist without him. same for characters like tomiko. they arent the main character, but their pre-canon actions (and the way other characters work with and against them) are why the story happens.

Right now I'm starting ever so slightly to hyperfixate on POTP again. Like.... it's more that I feel the energy building. Seeing any post about it is sparking Thoughts and Video edit related ideas. I can tell some time in the next hmmm 3 months or so I'm gonna Properly Hyperfixate on it again

Related thing, anyone else sort of able to notice their hyperfixations uhhh building up? Like seeing it glimmer on the horizon? I can anticipate that it probably will start soon

Sometimes i can delay or hasten a potential hyperfixation I've had before, depending on what feels right? Because I know if I start one then ALL my energy for weeks maybe months will be dedicated to it. So Sometimes (not always) I can say "now is not the right time I'm busy, please wait" or "hurry up please, I have no current interests and I'm getting the painful miserable ADHD Boredom"
