Being Jaha Lee's significant other headcanons.

You being in a relationship with this walking menace but it's his second life.

Author note: I just want to awaken the Jaha Lee simps out there, I need someone to talk about him and simps are the best when it comes to talking about fictional characters.

So, in a way or the other you ended up in a relationship with this absolute menace. Good luck.

Because he has the habit of killing people just because he feels like that, so you either don't care about it or you'll have to always be vigilant to save people.

Aside from that, let's imagine the actual relationship.

First of all: he confessed before you.

I can imagine it as a completely normal day, you're doing your own thing, then he comes up to you and just asks you "Will you be my lover?"

He might add some romanticism to it, maybe praising something about you but if he does it's probably going to be about the way you fight.

"The way you knocked out that guy the other day, your movements and precision... Pure art."

"Sir, I literally smashed a vase against his head."

"Yes, and it was beautiful."

"Your blood-covered figure after killing those men... I thought an actual demon finally descended in this world."

"...is that a compliment or...?"

"What else?"

Now, he got himself a lover, you.

He knows he's better than everyone there so he doesn't worry if you give other people attention.

So he doesn't get jealous. Actually, he would probably think that it's good for others to be around you, because if you have a good influence on him you will surely he a good influence on them.

But is he possessive?

Abso-fuckin-lutely.

He will have public displays of affection with you at any given time. It's something between showing you off and showing others that you're his.

If someone else touches you, they're losing a limb. He wants people to respect you the same way they respect him. Only his commanders and his "siblings" can touch you in a friendly way, because he respects them and trusts them enough.

Not Sungtae tho. He gets drop kicked if he tries anything funny with you or makes you slightly uncomfortable. Unless you want to be friends with him, which Jaha Lee will disapprove of but won't stop, Sungtae better keep his distance.

Except for the ones mentioned above, every other subordinate risks to lose their hand. Because of how hard it is for you to keep Lee at bay and remind him that his subordinates need their hands, everyone respects you and kind of fears you.

"I'm cutting his arm off."

"No, he needs it to hold his weapon, remember?"

"What about a finger? He doesn't need all the fingers for that. I'm sure he can fight-"

He loves cuddling. No I won't elaborate on why or how I know this.

He loves to just lay down, rest his head on your lap, wrap his arms around your waist and feel you. Bonus if you pet his head or play with his hair, he'll be in paradise and will name a new technique after you.

Most of the time you're cuddling he'll let you spoil him.

But sometimes he won't.

He'll get grumpy for something (maybe you didn't let him kill someone he really wanted to kill) and is just sulking, ignoring you.

Come one he's a big baby we know that.

Anyway he becomes cold and grumpy, if you ask to cuddle he'll just ignore you. In general he won't let you close.

But he can only last for a while without you.

He'll come back to you, but still grumpy and instead of asking you for cuddles as his lover he'll command you to cuddle him as his subordinate.

He gets over it after the first twenty seconds you agree.

Pet names? He probably gives you the weirdest ones ever existed but when he explains them to you they are actually very sweet.

"It's because even when I'm covered in blood and my purpose is accomplished, you still embrace me and put me to rest."

Also food names are on the table, because you give him energy. And he likes food. AND he likes you.

If he takes you along when he goes to fight it's because he knows you can handle the situation, otherwise he leaves you with someone to guard you.

Bonus for all the haphephobic people out there.

I'm not haphephobic even though I don't like people just coming and touching or hugging me. Like there are literally two people that can touch me any time and one that is some times ok and some times not. But normally I just flinch away the moment someone touches me.

If you don't like or you even fear physical contact, he will have a hard time with that. He will try to make you accept his affection and cuddles, but if it doesn't work then he'll just give up and find other ways to enjoy your company.

If you like reading he will ask you to read to him.

You like singing? That's great, he likes listening.

In general he will use any hobby you have as a way to spend time together.

Also now anyone that touches you is dead. Even a slight nudge can mean a death sentence.

When you two are together he'll make sure everyone keeps their distance and if someone gets too close he'll just shove them aside.

Do a analysis on his power. Let's start with our insane husband. jaha Lee. The master of the black rabbit clan.

Jaha:

he has near superhuman physical strength. When we are talking physically, I mean punching a person in fact or slapping someone so hard. so let's do this here.

Jaha made an entire building rumble by his pure physical strength, and that isn't normal for only human learning martial arts. we didn't even see him use qi. If you would take a look at the guy's neck before he got slammed down. it's turning purple, and he is also trembling. So, making a person tremble is a bit uncommon when raising up a person while choking them out.

Next is he is able to slap someone, and they are flying away, not on purpose but to the point of when they are in the ruins of a table and they are 7 feet away from jaha.

Next is his slaps.

We see him slap so many people in the face of the manwha If you do a re-read. But we see him literally create bruises and scars just by one slap in the face. like when dokgo tried to make jaha the new leader of the Black Sea wolves. it's only one slap, and then a tooth broke out of his mouth. You have to be so strong to be able to break off a tooth by one single slap in the face. I feel bad for dokgo.

Next is. I don't know what technique he used. But he literally slammed a head into the wall, and it explored to the point of when he's headless. This is when he got done fighting the old black sea wolves leader. According to my trusty Google. you have to have 1,000 pounds, 4,000 newtons of force, 200k g of force, and 500 pounds. Idk Google is trivial. But jaha did all of that in the span of a few seconds. I don't know if he used a technique or if he physically had to crush his head to make his blood spatter all over the walls. it makes me question how strong he was in his past life. Because you literally have to have the ability to bend steel in order to crush a head that much back in episode 32.

next is his qi power or his firepower in his techniques.

he destroyed the battle pavilion arena by his own fire, and it was spreading like a virus too much,

he shot out a technique to the cloudburst and elder dragon king army to pretty much the entirely. And then killed like 14 to 25 gaurds in that technique. he shoots out qi bombs to his opponents since he does steal qi from others. which boosts his qi a lot. He defeated a gun by his fire qi. damaging him a lot. He also defeated the black rabbit clan leader, slamming him into the wall, nearly detonated and burnt. so we can specifically say that his qi is also really powerful to go that large into murdering 14 to 25 people.

Next is his punches.

it's kinda normal to spill blood out of a punch. But jaha's punches hit different to a lot of people. he's able to crush rib cages and bones. By one punch, he is able to completely kill someone by his punches and able to punch someone to punch someone in a far range. He is able to make a person completely overwhelmed by getting punching by him, also stunning them. His punches can get someone killed. So he simply has brute strength in terms of punching and fighting without a sword.

Next is his reflexes.

Oh my...Ughh, he is able to dodge so many attacks and able to move so fast at dodging any attack his opponent makes. he uses his speed to move near superhuman speed. his attack speed is insane speed. when he was fighting sachong yu. he blocked all of his attacks when he was supposed to be fast at it with ease. he didn't receive any scars at any battle with those kinds of skills.

Next is his speed.

He mentioned that he was faster than all of the heavenly generals. He said he could practically fly. he is able to stun many gaurds by using his speed. he is able to jump from building to building. he must be like Sonic, the hedgehog.

and then the last topic is his insanity.

I guess his madness is actually a boost to his current power. He even had gaurds or fighters get pstd or truama by jaha's power. next is his battle iq.

He's able to analyze his opponent's battle movements in a second. Even if his opponent doesn't have any details shown in his fighting, then jaha would see it this instantly. he can copy his opponent's attacks.

So, in conclusion:

Jaha is still a human, but his strength and power are the pure opposite. So he's extremely powerful currently.

MELVINA'S THERAPY by A.Rasen

If you like horror and suspense, this is THE best webtoon to scratch that itch. It's intense, it's dramatic, it's a wonderful love letter to the horror genre as a whole.

Psychological terror shown in its best iteration, follow the stories of those unfortunate enough to end up as Melvina's patients. You'd think a therapist wants what's best for those they help, but Melvina is in a league of her own with a machiavellican plan that exceedes boundaries.

Though philosophical at times, it's very well achieved and understandable through sheer psychological horror.

Once you start reading, you don't want to stop. And it will leave you a little bit fucked up after you're done, in that way that only good horror can make you feel.

DOOM BREAKER by Blue-Deep

If you want actually good action scenes with dramatic stakes, this is one of the best action webtoons you could possibly read.

Set in a high fantasy, rpg like world, it's a desperate man's battle against the future he comes from. Zephyr has to fight monsters, demons and gods alike — all while saving all those he failed to save the first time around.

Cunning, manipulative and headstrong, nothing will stop Zephyr now that he's got a second chance. He will defeat the demon god while also battling the trickery of the other gods, who mostly want to sit pretty while they watch the good show.

The relationships between the characters, the writing itself and the art style that complements the story exceedingly well, they all make this webtoon a wonderful experience.

A really good story for those who like urban fantasy, action and monster slaying with RPG stats mixed in.

Yet there is room for kindness and for hope, and for someone in a one man war to breathe and bring forth a much needed new generation of heroes... well. They're called hunters!

Reminiscent of Sartre's play No Exit, with terror and suspense that feels like spiders crawling up your arms.

Intense in a slow but sure way as it builds up, it plays with human greed, jealousy and anger to create a complex picture through the increasingly creepy neighbors the protagonist has.

In this building there's no place for naivety. And you must always watch your back.

If you like MXTX works, the aesthetic of this webtoon will look familiar — though that's where most of the similarities stop!

Action in a historical (using the term broadly) setting, Jaha Lee has been given a second chance in life... the problem is that he might be crazier this time around. With an anger that is overflowing and a righteous need to make things right, nothing will stand between him and his goal of becoming a god of martial arts.

Well written and with art that complements the story really well, everything quickly becomes a series of someone off the deep end taking on multiple identities just to make ends meet in order to carry out his plan. And as readers, we're taken along for the ride that is his descent into further madness.

With fun dialogue and witty comebacks, plus a dark grey morality to boot, Return of the Mad Demon is hard to let go of once you start reading it.

okayyyy soo Kafka ko samjhne ke liye you will have to tap into your own life a little bit (this is what i feel.) read a little bit about him first before starting with his works. jaise ki. kafka had very bad relations with his father. he did everything for him but he was never good enough for his father. kafka wrote very intensely and he wrote about such dark realities of our society that people don't really talk about them.

about metamorphosis. okay soooo it's a pretty dark story. you can give it another try and iss baar na aese padhiye jaise aap ek aese insaan ke baare mein padh rhi jisne ek puri umar guzaar di apni family ke liye har cheez karne mein which disassociated him from everything else. personal life kuch bachi hi nhi.

FAMILY HISTORY : Michelle is the fourth generation of her family to be born and raised on the Ark. About a decade prior the Nuclear Apocalypse, an ancestor of hers moved from China to the US, in her 20s. She married an Hawaiian-born man who was a little older than her, from the US Navy. Their names were Mei Chen and John R. Kealoha and together had a daughter they named Aolani in the early 2050s Her name was a traditional Hawaiian name meaning “Heavenly cloud”, given to commemorate the new world on the Ark, above the clouds. She was the first generation to be born and raised on the Ark. Aolani admired her father very much for his military background on earth and joined the Ark Guard as a late teen, in a way to follow his footsteps. She thus worked her way up from cadet and reached the rank of commander while in her early or mid thirties. At that time, she met a man from the same nation, a certain Michael Cartwig, an American man of British descent. In the early 2080s, they had a son they named Jonathan. A name similar to that of her own father to honor him. Jonathan Cartwig later on had a daughter, Callie Cartwig, in early 2100s, who had herself a daughter, Michelle, a similar name to her grandfather’s. Unfortunately, her grandparents and great-grandparents all died prior to her birth in September 2131 from unknown causes.

EARLY LIFE : Michelle was born on the Ark to Callie Cartwig who was an officer in the Ark, of chinese, Hawaiian and British descent. Her mother was very loving and present for her, providing her daughter with a happy and innocent childhood. Callie raised her daughter in a positive way for her to become a good and strong person able to survive in this new world they had built up in space. Michelle held her mother’s kindness and bravery in high regards and looked up to her, wanting to be like her growing up. But, there was a fly in the ointment and it was that she never knew her father and for whatever reason her mother was very firm not to talk about it so it sometimes led to rather heated arguments between the two. And because of it, as a teenager, Michelle became more secretive, setting a certain distance between the two of them. She thought that because her mother kept things from her, she was going to do the same and their close relationship started to crack, hurting her mother a lot in the process. When Clarke told her and Wells about the Ark’s fate, she kept it from her mother and when charges were pressed against Jake Griffin, Clarke was arresed as well and Michelle lost it upon seeing her childhood best friend being taken away. She assaulted a guard and got herself convicted and imprisoned as she was younger than 18. Callie, whose relationship with her daughter was already declining, she was devastated. The officer went to Marcus Kane after her daughter’s arrest to ask for his help but he told her he couldn’t do anything and that no one is above the laws. She was even more crushed by the fact that she was forbidden by the council to ever visit her child because they thought she might try to get her out. It was obviously a recommendation from Kane, which Michelle will held him accountable for.

PERSONALITY : Michelle is similar to Clarke when it comes to her personality. They could be seen as the definition of the expression “birds of a feather flock together”, quite literally. Michelle was loyal and ready to do whatever it takes to help her friends. Despite what happens with her mom or more generally on the Ark, Callie did a great job raising her. She became in her image, brave, kind and trustworthy. But, Michelle can be a little quick-tempered and sarcastic sometimes, when her emotions take over her logic but she was taught strategical thinking by her mom and is very smart. If she is hurt or wronged, or close friends of hers are, she won’t think twice about going after the people that attacked them. For example, when Clarke was arrested and taken away by guards, she assaulted a couple of them vigurously and went as far as hurting herself by hitting them, so bad that she had bloody knuckles and had to be taken care of before being incarcerated. She also spat out at Councilman Kane’s face because it was him who was after the charges that had been pressed against the teenager.

Like Clarke, she calls people out on their behavior, usually, but when the heart is involved, she is reluctant to do so even if she knows the person(s) in question are in the wrong. This is yet another exemple of how her emotions can get in the way, but she isn’t blind and if these people have to be punished and it isn’t for no reason, she won’t stop it, no matter how bad it hurts her to let it happen. When she was told that her mother had died on the Ark by Abby Griffin and Kane when they landed on the ground, she was in shock, so much that she just froze and burst into tears, becoming as vulnerable as one can be. The death of her mother, without ever having been able to say goodbye will haunt her and lead to her suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder resulting in her shutting down sometimes, especially when she feels overwhelmed by what is happening at the moment.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE : Michelle is a young woman of Chinese, Hawaïan and British descent, according to what her mom told her. She has a rather tanned olive complexion with an oval face, dark brown almond-shaped eyes so dark they sometimes seem to be pitch black, and thick black straight hair. She stands at 5'5" (167cm), a few inches taller with her boots on reaching 5′6″-5′7″ (172 cm), and has an hourglass body shape, with a slim figure.

She styles her hair in a ponytail or a braid that goes down her back and strands of hair framing her face. She looks a lot like her mother but, her nose is a bit straighter and shorter than hers and her lips were slimmer but she figured it was features she inherited from whoever was her father. Michelle always wears a light, green khaki field deck jacket, which belonged to her great-great-grandfather who was in the US Navy and this jacket was passed down in her family, making it a unique hundred-year-old piece of clothing, a black tank top or plain T-shirt underneath, dark jeans and knee high lace up buckle military combat boots. She makes her whole style about her military heritage because she is very proud of it.

Does Tagore belong to home and not world?

Indian fans woke up to a surprise as a video from Pakistani show featuring Rabindra Sangeet “Amaro Porano Jaha Chay” went viral. The footage is from the show “Dil Kya Karay”, where the lead actor Yumna Zaidi is seen crooning the popular Bengali song. Calling it a ‘proud moment’, fans even said that it was ‘heart-warming’ to see the inclusivity in the serial. Have you ever heard the saying “Music has no borders”? The words couldn’t be truer in case of these videos from a Pakistan TV show. They feature the popular Rabindra Sangeet “Amaro Porano Jaha Chay”.

In a country of a million idols and temples—including those for movie stars; a country where taxpayer money is spent on giant statues to politicians—there is something to be said about a culture that bows to a poet. Tagore was a philosopher and a polymath, a nationalist and a political ideologue, an artist and an educationist, but above all, he was a poet. And in celebrating him, we celebrate the spirit of poetry.

Be it Hindu-Muslim relations, women's emancipation, exploitation of nature, development of the village, or his contribution to modern art, Bengal's thinkers and commoners alike marvel at how the man remains relevant even today as his 160th birth anniversary dawns on May 9. Tagore was born in 1861 and lived till the age of 80. He wrote nearly 3,000 songs, set up an experimental school at Santiniketan, and went on to win the Nobel prize in 1913 for his compilation Gitanjali.

Bengalis do not need to read about Rabindranath, he is already flowing in our veins. Non-Bengalis are a different matter. When I was a boy in Calcutta, I remember watching one of my uncles reading the newspaper every morning, shaking his head and saying, ‘These non-Bengalis, I tell you!’ He was not pleased with the news, and he was clear about where the responsibility lay. Therefore, when Hindustan Times asked me to explain Rabindranath to non-Bengalis, I did not undertake the task lightly.

The first thing to understand about Rabindranath is that his shape is very distinctive. He had a strong aesthetic sense, and always art directed himself most beautifully. But he was most often portrayed with a yard long beard and in an ankle length kaftan, in profile, hands behind his back. He is one of the few famous people, along with Einstein and Gandhi, who can be recognized by a silhouette. He was a man in advance, he created his own emoji. As children growing up in Calcutta, long before we read him, we recognised his shape.

The first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913, Rabindranath Tagore’s novels, stories, songs and dramas were acclaimed as well as criticised for their lyricism and colloquialism. Gitanjali, Gora and Ghore-Baire are his best-known works. His compositions were chosen by two nations as national anthems: India's “Jana Gana Mana” and Bangladesh's “Amar Shonar Bangla”.

Tagore has been an inescapable reality for all 250 million Bengali speaking people around the world. He is widely revered all over Bangladesh and in India. He commands a towering presence in the Bengali speaking world. His literary achievements overshadow anything that happened before him and anything that happened after him in the Bengali literary world. Tagore, in fact, is embedded in the collective psyche of educated Bengalis. The Jorasanko Thakurbari is a living memory of a man whose impact and influence travelled continents and also reminds us why Bengali culture will always be indebted to Rabindranath Tagore. The writer of Indian National Anthem, the writer of Bangladesh's National Anthem, the person to have inspired Sri Lanka's National Anthem with his work, the first Non-European and also the first lyricist to win a Nobel Prize in literature - Rabindranath Tagore. Not just this, he was a renowned poet, painter, writer, composer, and philosopher. Due to his achievements, Rabindranath Tagore is also known as the 'Bard of Bengal'.

Cooking || Excerpts of their daily life [Jaha Lee x GN!Reader]

You frowned, watching him - Jaha Lee - struggle to cook. He was dancing around the kitchen, knowingly adding in random spices and mixing them around in a wok. Yes, he looked skilful, and yes, you'd admit he looked hot wearing an apron, but the scent that emanated from the wok was actually horrid.

The scent of random spices and chicken broth filled the kitchen. It was spicy, yet somehow sweet and bitter at the same time. You know this wasn't going to end well for you, since you were the one who naively agreed to be his taste tester.

"Jaha... I think that's enough spices," You spoke, your hands clammy and your voice slightly shaking. You worried for your stomach later on. This was then that you resolved that Jaha would have to pay for both physical and emotional damages later on.

Jaha gave you a small smile, one you'd normally welcome (you didn't today), as he replied to you, "You can never have enough spices, [Y/N]."

"Yes, you can."

You looked at the amount of shakers and spices that were lined up on the kitchen counter, and you internally cursed the cooks for having so many on this specific occasion. He really was just pouring whatever was closest to him into the dish and hoping it turned out well. Actually, hope was a strong word. Jaha Lee knew that he was a horrible cook, which is why he took on martial arts instead. But he also wanted you to try his cooking at least once, even if you'd end up passing out from the taste alone.

You spoke up again, "I am going to die if you add too many spices like that into the broth."

"Then I'll just add more water if it's too much for you," Jaha told you, as if that would help the dish. Maybe somewhat, as it would dull the taste, and maybe you wouldn't die as hard.

Despite you thinking it was a good idea to dull the taste of the broth, you grimaced, "That's actually so gross."

Jaha shrugged, before continuing his task of making the dish taste as horribly as possible. By the way he smirked at the wok, you were sure he was doing this on purpose. Though you didn't say anything more and just watched him do as he wanted in the kitchen.

Soon enough, he was done. He even took the effort of plating the damn dish (as if it would help with the taste). Jaha served it in front of you with a grin. You looked at it in slight horror, seeing the broth still bubbling and the spices not even properly mixing in with the soup. You swore to yourself that Jaha made a new type of acid, rather than soup.

"Enjoy," He said, enjoying your expression. It looked like you ate a sour lemon, and he loved it.

You grumbled, shakily picking up the spoon, "I won't."

After a few moments of internally hyping yourself up, you shoved the soup into your mouth.

...

Yep, it was horrible. It would've been better if he diluted it with tap water. You also wondered how he was able to create a punch in a bowl, where the flavour came after you swallowed the soup.

On that day, your body learned that it hated Jaha Lee's cooking, and you were also a few nyangs richer.

“I’m telling you guys, they were holding hands!” Ethan hissed, bowing his head, so that Mr. Blake wouldn’t see that he was doing everything but fill out the work sheet he’d been given. But come on, it was their last period before spring break and flipping no-one paid attention. Even Mr. Blake knew that, if he let them divide into groups and work on the assignment together.

“You sure she wasn’t just handing him something?” Madi countered in a bored voice, not even looking up from her work. The sheet was filled out already, obviously—Lend-Lease, please—and she was now drawing an intricate design of a laurel wreath. She already knew she wanted something like that for a tattoo when she turns 18 but she was still working on the specifics. It’s not like Mr. Blake would mind.

Delilah giggled lightly, probably more because she and Jordan were exchanging notes, ignoring their assignment completely, than because of what Madi said. Jordan’s neck sprouted some red blotches but he cleared his throat and looked around the table.

“Yeah, Jaha’s really been going at it with all those Victorian novels, I think you’re overestimating all those long glances,” Jordan commented and when Delilah chuckled into his shoulder, he went even redder. Madi smiled at the sight but rolled her eyes at Ethan and went back to her drawing.

The rumours about Mr. Blake and Ms. Griffin, their art teacher, had been flying around the school for months now, ever since the new year started and the students noticed that they started eating their lunches together. Once, someone even caught them eating from the same Tupperware container and since then, the whole school was buzzing with theories about whether or not they were dating.

Madi’s history class seemed especially invested in those rumours, seeing how they had it last period and every once in a while, Ms. Griffin would come by Mr. Blake’s room afterwards. Some of the students even started to stall as much as they could to maybe listen in to what the teachers were talking about but the exact nature of their relationship remained a secret—one that some of the students were getting desperate to uncover. There was a nice pool going around with the deadline at the end of the school year and whoever had the proof that they were in fact dating would win the bet.

Clarke Griffin’s memories and images in her mindspace

In this post I will list all the drawings from Clarke's mindspace seen in season 6 of The 100 (in episodes 6x06, 6x07 and 6x10) that we have been able to spot - most of which (over 90 of them! Yes, this is gonna be a long post) we've been able to identify, with image comparisons to scenes from the show.

First, credit where credit is due: this idea first came from @ofnailbatsandaxefives who identified many of the drawings and made a bunch of side to side comparisons last year after 6x07 aired in this post.

I later tried to identify the rest of the drawings, with the help of a few people here and on Twitter (rewatching the show also helped), but this resulted in an endless number of reblogs. Episode 6x10 Matryoshka also had more drawings that weren't in 6x07 Nevermind, some images were misindentified, and I decided to redo all the images with better resolution screencaps.

Big thanks to everyone who helped in identifying some of the trickier images (many of them are on Twitter and I don’t know if they have Tumblr profiles), especially (Twitter handles) SheiGarche (who identified several of these and corrected some of my mistakes), Lovestory813, BellarkeMood, taunadora, becki_travels, fabiana_vec, indreamswake, KindZouzou and my Tumblr mutual @jeanie205 (I’m sorry if I forgot anyone).

As a BONUS in addition to the images on Clarke’s memory wall, I’ll also go over audio flashbacks heard at the end of 6x06, in 6x07 and 6x10 - as a mix of voices representing Clarke’s jumbled memories. Many of them can be heard and identified in the episodes, but special thanks to (Twitter user) klarksbell for removing the background sounds from the scenes so some of the background voices could be heard clearer.

(In a follow-up post. I’ll go over Clarke's drawings from her Shallow Valley home in season 5, which we also saw in the mindspace version of her Shallow Valley home in her happy place; and those we saw in season 5, many of which overlap as the set was re-used for 6x07. I’ve also noticed that the art department used many of these drawings for the drawings representing Clarke’s memories on her mindspace wall.)

Before I start listing the moments from Clarke’s memory wall - her mindspace version of the actual cell in Skybox she used to be locked in on the Ark - let’s compare the two different versions of this wall. The first one was seen in the very last scene of 6x06 Memento Mori - where we first learned Clarke was still alive (yeah, yeah, of course no one really bought it that she was dead ;) but it was still such a Hell yeah moment) and in 6x07 Nevermind.

But when we saw Clarke in her mindspace again in 6x10 Matryoshka, the walls were different: there were at least 3 new images that weren’t seen in 6x07, and many other images were moved around and placed in different ways. Which does make sense, as Clarke’s mindspace was reacting to her states of mind, so we should probably assume it was always changing, with different memories being more or less prominent at any given time.

And finally here are the identified images with side-by-side comparisons. Some were obvious and taken straight from the scenes (I've been told there's a software for that), others are a bit less straightforward (and several of them were also seen as Clarke's drawings in season 5).

I'm going to do them chronologically, not by episode but by when those things happened in Clarke's life.

Starting with the image of Clarke and Wells as children on the Ark (confirmed by Jason Rothenberg on Twitter). The closest thing in the show is the video of them Jaha watched in 1x12.

The next one was tricky as it's not a scene from the show either. It was first misidentified as Clarke watching what ALIE showed her in 3x16, nuclear plants melting on Earth, but that scene is shown in another drawing. It shows a young girl watching the Earth from the Ark. We've decided that this is young Clarke on the Ark. I used the Octavia flashback scene from 1x06 for comparison to show this is a window on the Ark and a view from there (not because it's the same scene - which it can't be,as this wouldn’t be Clarke’s memory). But the girl looks younger and is touching the window as if yearning for Earth.

Flashbacks in 1x03, a year before the Pilot: Abby and Jake during the happy times; Jake when Clarke overheard him tell Abby that Ark was dying and he'd go public with it; Wells when Clarke told him about it.

1x01 - there are more images from the Pilot than from any other episode.

The first scene of the show - the image on the floor in the mindspace version of Clarke's cell in Skybox is the same image she drew on the floor of her actual cell.

This portrait of Abby seems to represent the next scene where Abby told Clarke she was being sent to Earth. When the camera zoomed on it in 6x06, we heard the dialogue from that scene over it ("Clarke, I love you so much!" - "Mom?")

When the camera zoomed on this pic of Wells on the dropship in 6x07, we heard Wells' voice saying "Welcome back" as he did in that scene.

I've been told that the inscription from the Ark we see below is a Chinese proverb that means, more or less, "A friend in need is a friend indeed".

"We're back bitches!" twice - the second is from Clarke's POV. The first one was one of the drawings Josephine touched and we (and Josephine) heard an audio flashback of it and this, uh, memorable line.

Mount Weather - the first time Clarke saw it, after landing.

I spot the same image among Clarke's drawings we saw in her Shallow Valley home in season 5, though it was really tiny in the background.

More scenes from the Pilot:

1x03

It's a pity that the plan to have Eli Goree guest star in 6x07 didn't work out, but at least we had many Wells images and even in the voice memories - I clearly heard Clarke telling him "How can you forgive me?"/"I blamed you because my father's dead and it's my mother's fault."

1x04 Finn with one of the pencils from the shelter he found, trying to impress Clarke.

1x05 Brief time of Clarke being happy and infatuated, right before Raven arrived and her heart got broken for the first time.

There was a bit of disagreement about this Bellamy image (or images). It shows up as a part of the drawing of him torturing Lincoln in the scene from 1x07 on one of the walls, but it also appears on its own on the ceiling:

@SheiGarche believes that, since this appears as a part of the Lincoln torture scene, the Bellamy image must be from that episode. However, while the rest of the scene 100% matches the 1x07 scene, Bellamy's image doesn't match - in posture or expression - anything from that episode. On the other hand, especially when you look at the Bellamy image on its own, as it is on the ceiling, it looks most like a drawing based on the scene from 1x02 - "I heard you have a gun''...

I think that the ceiling drawing represents season 1 Bellamy in general, and was drawn based on the 1x02 scene. OTOH, the art department made the 1x07 image from the 1x07 scene but couldn't get a good Bellamy angle so they edited in that same Bellamy image in. You decide.

A Raven portrait, which is probably not about any particular scene (some images just represent certain characters), but it most closely matches this love-triangle moment from 1x08.

The same portrait was seen as one of Clarke's drawings in season 5.

1x09 - negotiations with Anya and the Grounders on the bridge. Also the first time Clarke has ever seen horses in real life.

1x13

Probably some of the Grounder warriors who got burned in the Ring of Fire, but this scene clearly indicated that Clarke was thinking about closing the door on Finn and Bellamy and that they may have been burned.

2x01

This image gave us so much trouble, until it turned out it was just a random woman from Mount Weather who yelled "CONTAINMENT BREACH!" when Clarke entered the mess hall dragging Maya and saw all the people sitting there.

Another one of character portraits that are probably not important for any particular scene or moment. But going by Miller's hair and facial hair, it can only be season 2 Miller at the time he and Clarke were both in MW (this is from 2x02).

Ending of 2x02:

2x03 - Escape from Mount Weather

2x04 Anya after Clarke beat the crap out of her and managed to win their fight. "You fought well".

Now a few more character portraits. This image of Raven with a brace doesn't 100% fit a scene from the show, but it looks a lot like this promo pic of her - except for her red jacket, which she wore in 2x05 when Clarke first saw her with a leg brace.

Since Jaha has a beard and hair, it can only be from season 2 or 3, which limits it to 2x07 or 3x16, the only times he and Clarke were in the same place. I used 2x07 image of non-chipped Jaha, when he came to Camp him and argued for Arkers leaving, pitting him against Clarke,as this would’ve meant abandoning her friends to their fate in MW.

Portrait of Indra - also probably not about any particular scene, but it looks like their first meeting in 2x07. It was also among Clarke's drawings in season 5.

2x08 This image is one of the few that were not seen on the memory wall in 6x07, but appeared in 6x10. Maybe it's because the ALIE projection said in 6x07 her most painful memories were not on the wall - and the scene of Clarke killing Finn was only seen represented in her dark place by the pole and knife. Maybe she was able to process some of those memories better by 6x10?

2x09 Raven holding Finn’s dead body

This profile of Lexa is probably not from any particular scene, but a general image of the warrior leader/ally Lexa from S2. I used the scene of her making a speech in 2x15, but there were scenes in 2x09 (like when she told Clarke that Love is weakness) that looked similar.

2x10 Well, an attack by giant mutant gorilla would be pretty memorable to anyone.

2x11 I previously thought this image of people in radiation suits (also seen among Clarke's drawings in S5) was from 4x12/13, but looking more closely, now I think these are Mount Weather Ground unit guards - specifically, are Emerson and the other Mountain Man who tried to assassinate Clarke in 2x11. The outfits, helmets, guns are the closest match.

2x12 Clarke's guilt over letting the MW missile drop on the people in Tondc was referenced not just in 6x07 when her projection of Octavia called her out on writing her off there, but also in 6x10:

Josephine: I wasn't always like this.

Clarke: I know the feeling. I mean, look around you.

2x15 - breaching the Mount Weather door

I'm about 95% sure that this picture of Lexa is her betrayal in 2x15.

2x16:

"Together" - "Together"

3x01 The most important character in the show! LOL

...seriously though, this little bunny (? who looks more like a squirrel in the drawing?) that Clarke used as a bait to catch a panther, stands for the 3 months Clarke spent in wilderness.

The only image of Niylah on the wall. It's the scene when she lied to protect Clarke when Roan and a bounty hunter came looking for her.

Another character portrait not related to a specific scene, and another one that was seen as one of Clarke's drawings hanging in her Shallow Valley home in S5. Going by the hair and beard, it's seasons 3-4 Kane, so I used the scene of his and Abby's meeting with Clarke in 3x03.

3x04

3x07 - there are 3 images of Lexa from this episode

Lexa smiling during the talk in which she asked Clarke to stay - this is the most prominent of the images of Lexa (one of the images that appear multiple times on the wall + had a flashback). Seems these softer moments are larger in Clarke's mind than warrior/leader Lexa.

The second most prominent image of Lexa (one of the pictures the camera zoomed in on in 6x06, when we also heard the dialogue among the audio memories - "Can we talk about something else?" - "We don't have to talk at all").

and Lexa right after she was shot by Titus.

3x11 What turned out to be the most important of all Clarke's memories, as it contained info on the neural mesh and how Raven was freed from ALIE and that Clarke has to remove from the wall and hide from Josephine.

3x13 Luna, refusing the Flame

3x15 When Clarke didn't break and give ALIE the password and it almost cost her her mother's life. This drawing was previously misidentified as Murphy being hanged in S1 - some thought there were two hanging scenes, but there's just one and it's clearly indoors.

3x16 - there are several scenes from the City of Light. Including the image of the COL itself. You can see even see the tiny figures of Lexa and the people she's fighting.

What ALIE showed Clarke: the Earth, full of nuclear plants melting, telling her about the upcoming Praimfaya.

One of the first things Clarke saw after returning from the City of Light was Murphy is one of his most heroic moments - pumping Ontari's heart so Clarke could take the Flame.

4x01

This one seems a bit random: it's a moment when Indra came and hugged Kane while Octavia, Clarke, Bellamy and Abby were already there in the Grounder shrine - but I think it's important as the scene when they all discussed what to do in the situation and Clarke told them all about Praimfaya.

Roan, after agreeing to an alliance because of Praimfaya, giving a public speech in Polis to say that 'an attack against the 13th clan is an attack on all of us'.

The drawing of Arkadia is another one that was hanging in Clarke's Shallow Valley home in season 5 - and was also seen in the mindspace version of that home in 6x07. I used a scene from 4x03.

4x04 There are 3 scenes from this episode, and all of them have to do with Jasper. The first two are two of Jasper's pranks: "floating" Jaha, and the prank Jasper pulled on Clarke. But the mood of the latter got ruined because he had already found the List before Clarke came in. (Josephine touched this drawing briefly in 6x07 and we heard the audio flashback: (Monty: "Clarke, wait..." - Clarke: "Really?" )

And what happened right after, in the same scene, when Jasper started telling everyone present about the List. (Jasper's angry comments can also be heard clearly among the mix of voices at the beginning of 6x07 - more about that later)

The portrait of Emori is probably from 4x07, when they had their first major interaction. It was also one of Clarke's drawings that could be glimpsed in the background in S5.

Skip the next one if you don't want to see an image of a person dying a gruesome and painful death in a radiation chamber.

4x08 The unfortunate Grounder thief from the Rock Line clan whose name we never learned, at the moment of his death.

4x10 Octavia in the Conclave - more of a symbolic representation (with the sigils around her). This was a very prominent drawing in Clarke's sketchbook that we saw a couple of times in season 5.

4x11 Another one of the 3 images that weren't seen in 6x07 but were in the second version of the memory wall, in 6x10 - Clarke pointing a gun at Bellamy to stop him from opening the bunker door, before she broke down and cried. The drawing even shows Clarke’s hand with a gun.

4x12 the rocket in Becca's lab

4x13 Clarke being left behind in Praimfaya and watching her friends leave while she was aligning the satellite dish so they could get to the Ring and survive.

This was also another prominent drawing from Clarke's sketchbook we saw in season 5.

There's another scene from 4x13, but that one happens 6 years later, so I'll come back to it later...

5x01 Post-Praimfaya

Polis was Clarke's destination after she left Becca's lab - trying and failing to open the door of the bunker after the temple had collapsed on it. Then realizing she'll be alone for at least 5 years.

Then she went to Arkadia, where she only found "ghosts" - the chest with Maya's music player, Jasper's goggles and his letter to Monty (as we saw in the flashback in Clarke's "dark place", where the chest played an important role).

The bird that kind of tried to eat Clarke (?), showed Clarke where Eden was, and then got thanked, shot and eaten by Clarke.

Shallow Valley

This image is both a memory of 6 year old Madi (not the moment they met, but when Clarke was drawing her while she was fishing), of Clarke drawing her and of the drawing she made and gave Madi to make friends with her.

Madi and Clarke, but some 6 years later. This image was prominent of at the beginning of 6x07 when we saw a flashback of it when Clarke touched it ("I'm sorry they left without you" - "If I was with them, I never would've met you").

4x13 - 2199 days after Praimfaya: Gagarin transport ship, the moment when Clarke saw it clearly and realized it wasn't the ship she was hoping for ("Never mind, I see you"), but one to be afraid of.

5x03 - Makes snse that images of Diyoza, Shaw and McCreary are all from the episode where they captured and tortured Clarke.

5x04

Bellamy reuniting with Clarke.

Coming out of the bunker.

5x06 - Madi watching Octavia practice.

5x09 - There were quite a few changes between the memory wall in 6x07 and 6x10, and the most obvious one was seen right after Clarke woke up in her mindspace - the big image of Bellamy when Octavia arrested him and right before Clarke left him at her mercy in Polis.

5x12 - This is one of the rare drawings that doesn’t fully represent a memory correctly as Clarke saw it. But it makes sense to me that Clarke remembers it this way - seeing Madi in pain when she zapped the shock collar to stop her from leaving and going to war. But in fact, the screenshot shows Madi shocked that Clarke put a shock collar on her. Clarke closed her eyes and had her back turned to Madi, because she couldn’t watch it when she actually zapped the shock collar, and only heard her scream.

This was another drawing Josephine touched and had a flashback of (we heard Madi screaming and Clarke saying “I won’t let you die in this war”), commenting "Child abuse dressed up as protection!"

5x13 - Clarke pulling the lever to close the door of the Gagarin ship, after waiting until the last moment for Bellamy to come in, closing the door after Bellamy, Monty, Emori and Murphy were inside and the missiles were already hitting the Earth.

One last image. It's clearly Madi, and with the horizontal placement of the drawing, I thought it was Clarke putting Madi in cryo. But it turns out the same image - only vertical - was one of her drawings she had in Shallow Valley in season 5... so, I don't know.

There are other images that we couldn't link to anything specific or weren't sure. Mostly locations, objects and nature images. 1) A forest? 2) Waterfall/rocky shore? 3) Rubble?)

If anyone identifies any of them or notice other images or anything else, I’ll be editing and reblogging this post.

In 6x10, however, everything was mixed up - Clarke's and Josephine's memories were all mashed up, because the boundaries between their minds were disappearing - so it’s pretty much impossible to make out anything. But Clarke’s memories are probably the same mix as in 6x07, because I can still hear Wells saying "Welcome back".

So I decided to just do fics that I posted the first chapter of in 2020 and also they’re not in any particular order and mostly just in reverse chronological order cause that’s just how I roll

1. put your faith in the devil and the deep blue sea

Okay so this was for the Chopped Secret Santa, and I got super into it. @pawprinterfanfic can tell you that I basically rambled like a million words of plot at her basically as soon as I got the assignment. It was the middle of the night and I was half asleep and I’m pretty sure it made zero sense but this baby was born! And then I had to finish all my assignments for my semester before I could start on it so it spent the next couple weeks just accumulating more and more plot and details and then I basically wrote the entire thing in like two days and had to massively tone myself down so it didn’t turn into a giant thing a la darling.

Anyway. I’m super into this fic and you should go check it out. Hoping slash planning to do a companion of the fic from Murphy’s POV sometime in the new year so let’s hope I’m coming up on some productivity!

2. time, mystical time (cutting me open then healing me fine)

This one I was kinda nervous with starting out cause I hadn’t written anything for the JATP fandom before but I got really into this fic and the whole Juke ship in general. Could theoretically write for the fandom again. I don’t really have anything else to say here except that I’m really proud of this fic!

3. cause i know in the morning you’ll be gone (how am i supposed to carry on?)

Did someone say only fic in the entire Wells Jaha / Echo category? I am ridiculously proud of this fic you honestly have no idea. Are Wells and Echo (Wecho?) my new ship? We just don’t know! Honestly I got ridiculously into this ship and I have no idea why but I really think y’all should check it out! Would 100% be into writing more Wecho not gonna lie

4. integrity, faith, and crocodile tears

Just like a classic. Had the general idea for this sitting in my WIPs for forever and then used the Choose Your Own Adventure round of Chopped to finally have an excuse to write it! I wrote this six million years ago (aka back in February) but I still really love it

5. to dream about a life (where you’re the shining star)

The Murphamy canonverse Cinderella Camp Rock fic you all never knew you wanted! This honestly makes the list mostly due to how ridiculous it was just like in general but it was honestly also super fun to write and I think it’s a pretty fun fic in general? Anyway, I love this fic

season 2 episode 2: “Inclement weather”

i know y’all said that kane and bellamy arent canonical father and son but i could really see it in this episode. these writers are planted this plot point but then they drop it?? im really curious as to why they did this.

those guns really didn’t level the playing fields bc lets be honest the grounders can fuck it up guns or no guns. and fuck you kane trying to blame and guilt bellamy. not in my household. these kids had no chance of surviving if it werent for mama clarke and pap bellamy. lets also recall the fact that you were part of the council that sent these kids down here in the first place with not actual hope that they would survive.

“this should be fun”-murphy **are they really setting up murphy as the sarcastic/relatable character??? i cant.

kane really spewing out laws but if you havent noticed y’all arent on the ark no more

they are pushing this maya and jasper ship. soo loong jasper x octavia ship.

why did they give clarke a key card? did these people not know that learn from last time? ooooo that person dont look so good? ‘Chernobyl’ the writers said.

new intro. this art is something else. and im not be sarcastic here. i genuinely like this intro. but i do hope it changes for each of the new seasons just to make things more interesting.

that finn head shake tho at 31:21 that was my reaction to murphy saying what about me. no bellamy. dont take murphy. fuck but this just shows how much better bellamy is than murphy. when bellamy says let bygones be bygones. he means it unlike murphy who is the embodiment of a snake

wait jasper is sitting at a piano. are they hinting that he can play it??? damn these kids be talented

you know i think the purpose of this episode is to show that octavia is just as crazy for lincoln as he is for her. cuz up to this point it did kinda seem like a one side relationship considering the amount of effort that lincoln put in, in comparison to octavia. so moral of the story is that they both be crazy so they be perfect together

they really like jaha cuz this plot armor is crazy. his missile plan actually worked?? and what are the chances that he land in the desert?

i really don’t like these tie dye yellow patient outfits

woah hold up. people handing upside down. blood. moaning. people in cages. writes said “human trafficking? we got you cover” never would i ever expected to see the topic of human trafficking touched on in this show. this is a CW show right???! but here we are.
