Arcade Machine Idea

As shown in my drawings, I have an idea to make the chess pieces arcade machines. The pawns would be joysticks to match. To make the game playable I will paint on the piece what piece is represented by that arcade machine. This is shown in the drawing. I would make the black pieces red and then paint the detail on them in black. I would make the white pieces blue and then paint white on them. The pawns are joy sticks with black bases and silver sticks. The ball on top would be red or blue depending what side of the board they sat on. I will decide on the exact design of what is painted later but I would want an icon to represent the piece on the front small and then large between 2 corners as shown in the drawing. I think this could be an interesting way to identify the pieces.

The pro to this idea is the easy printing. All of the pieces will be one of 2 models, the arcade machine or the joystick. This will make the process of printing easier as I won't have to reload a new file for every piece. The con for this idea is the painting. It will be a lot of work to paint every piece but I think it will be worth it.
