Hi, merry christmas and happy new year, i can't remember the name of this fic but i'm sure it was in ao3. It started with Draco stalking Harry a bit, but it was because he had a plan for how to hang him to Voldemort, he stab Harry in the arm, Harry faints, or close and take him to Malfoy Manor and lock him in the dungeons. I think while Harry is nocked out we see a flash back of Draco's childhood where he was locked in the dungeon because he tried to take one of his father dark artifacts to brag about with friends, his father obviusly finds out and lock him in the dungeon, saying that loyalty and respect is something you have to gain, and he saw others be locked down there when he was a child. Harry wake up, Voldy shows up and something happens, then Draco decides he doesn't like Voldy and runs out with Harry, they disaparare and Draco splint but they never spicifies wich part of him was left behind (i bet his dick), then the battle happens in Hogwarts and they end up together. And Snape doesn't die.
That's all i can remember, thank you in avance for trying to find it, and don't worry if you can't.

As someone who looks toward the evolutionary edge, I have to say I might be a bit partial to this epoch in the history of astrology. Most ancient peoples, from the Egyptians to the Maya to Hindu civilizations, had a deep reverence for the stars and the planets, and understood that the world was alive and full of meaning. They knew that there were codes and maps embedded within Creation that could be read and interpreted for guidance. I have a deep love and respect for each epoch that brought forth a certain new facet and understanding. I see it all as part of a beautiful tapestry that keeps unfolding. I began to create astrological art because I could not find the visuals that resonated with my contemporary aesthetic and the archetypal energies that we were experiencing as a collective. As an artist and a writer, I am influenced by the astrological archetypes directly, as they live and exist as symbols within the collective unconscious. Ihey are multivalent symbols and as such, reveal aspects of our human experience that can never be fully translated into manifest form. I engage with them directly through my creative process.

✨ these comics are from a popular drarry fic called eclipse by mijan! for anyone new here, the context is that draco has a phobia for bodies of water, & with his consent, harry tries to help him overcome it. harry initiates by taking off his shoes for him when he sees draco stiffen up & it kinda tumbles into this tender moment where draco feels braver helping harry undress if harry can help him with his own clothes.
its a very sweet metaphor for the themes of the fic where draco is still a bit pathetic and slow at disavowing his parents’ views (although clearly wanting to) but, by contrast, feels braver helping harry escape voldemort. and it is through helping harry through his adversaries that slowly has draco proving to himself that he is capable and ultimately, more himself, when offering to do good. anyways!!! im smitten by this fic as you can tell.

Vintage Drarry Fics
Thought I'd put together a list of some of the old Drarry 'classics' of my teenage years, for anyone interested. All posted between 2001-2006, compiled using my (bad) memory, a lot of googling, fanlore.org and numerous different LJ rec accounts (including the incredible @capiturecs). I checked as best I could, but if anyone knows of any fics that their author doesn't want to be shared, please let me know and I will of course remove.
Please also note that these fics are of their era, when attitudes may have been different, and they may not all be grammatically perfect. I haven't reread all, as my own tastes have changed, but most importantly do note that they may not be tagged - don't blame me when, for example, Harry dies tragically on a rooftop at sunrise...
Hogwarts Era (mostly 5th-7th year)

I will only pick 7 and it might not really be my top seven to be fair as I’ve read probably hundreds. I’ve only just a few days ago gotten an ao3 account so I can save them yeesh. So here are 7 Drarry fics I’ve read and immensely enjoyed!!
In no particular order:
All Our Secrets Laid Bare by firethesound // E rating, Auror partners
An Issue of Consequence by faithwood // E rating, 8th Year setting
Slithering by astolat // E rating, set soon after DH
Azoth by zeitgesistic // E rating, hogwarts apprentice partners in Alchemy
Draco Malfoy and the Mirror of Ecidyrue by starbrigid // T - E rating, an epic and completed canon rewrite concerning Draco going back in time to before his 1st Year at Hogwarts
Turn by Saras_Girl // E rating, I cried, disgustingly, like when I rewatched Kiki’s Delivery Service as an adult post college burnout.
Eclipse by Mijan // T rating, written and set after Order of the Phoenix, huge Draco arc with lovely magic and mystery and a very, very long hiking trip.
And a bonus of anything written by bixgirl1 as I’ve read almost every one of their fics and I’m obsessed.
There are lots others like Running on Air of course and just gosh so, so many others I think it’s unfair not to list them. That’s the wonderful part of this fandom. It’s so rich and active it’s hard to taste it all. Oh yeah and most of the fics I’ve read are from over 3-4 years ago or older because I’ve been working through the search result on Ao3 in chronological order like a cracked walnut with a nasty case of completionism.
