Netflix's Always Be My Maybe movie review: All I can say is that Keanu Reeves was breathtaking. Anyway, I do not really watch romantic comedy films all that much (I already watch too many soap operas). I was not surprised when I actually liked the movie. I already knew it would be a good movie. I like John Kransin-I mean Randall Park on his other works, such as Fresh of the Boat (which I need to watch soon) and Ant-Man and the Wasp. As for Ali Wong, I have heard a lot of great things about her, especially her stand-up. I would also say it is better than Crazy Rich Asian in terms of quality, but not representation. CRA provided a more accurate portrayal of the Asian lifestyle compared to ABMM. As for the story, they are both quite the same. Same conflict in relationship, same outcome, but different setting.
