Sorry, sorry! I was turned around in the nether reaches of the Mary Poppins bag... One of these days I'll get that place organized, but today is not that day. Anyway, getting lost was totally worth it; I got such a haul and just wait-- Wait! I'm standing here rambling and you're over there with an ordinary pizza box that is definitely not concealing a compliment of any kind, just a delicious ooey-gooey cheese pizza, for me!
*stands mailing tube up and places satchel down*
*rattling and clacking sounds emerge from the satchel*
Here, let me take that off your hands.
*arches eyebrow at box*
Now, it's been a while since I've have had pizza, but not so long that I wouldn't know that the warmth it's radiating is completely different from that of a box of cheesy goodness.
*balances box on waist-high statue of No-face that you're only now noticing*
*opens box*
*a sublime aroma fills the room*

Do you think it's okay for Obi Wan to have mutliple stories written about him, as in more than one canon significant other? i feel like since SW is basically a franchise meant for stories to be retelled over and over again and here i am thinking about all those lovely writers who write self indulgent fics, about Obi or whomever else where he ends up happy and has love at last, is allowed to truly love and completely also.
What do you think? Do you think that "canon" is whatever works with your heart the best and how you feel about characters?
oh absolutely 🌸 ! & this is an excellent question to sit & ponder over when it comes to canon vs fanon, I imagine the stories told about him are (& certainly would be) endless ✨️
[I apologize in adv for going off topic like always 😭 me & my bro talk about this stuff a lot because he is from the original trilogy era]
In my eyes - Obi Wan (or any other fictional character) would ultimately have a canon story that was intended for them by the original writer. In their imagination, it's possible that he could have had either many great loves cross his path, or even none at all. Maybe even only mentor or close friend, 'frenemy', or enemy relationships.
In some shows or novels that have been written about him, sometimes different iterations may allude to certain relationships that could have happened in his universe. And if that resonates with you as a fan also, then that could be something truly wonderful to experience as well. Because then you're like - oh yes ! I can totally see that happening for him ! they should be together ! that's his soulmate !
Or the opposite of - oh no ! that's not him at all ! he deserves better ! why why why ?!
I firmly believe that 'canon' is whatever your heart desires, (which reminds me of mark hamill when talking about luke) your favorite comfort characters are however you most enjoy picturing them to be.
On the other hand, some fans are deeply rooted in a canon only stance - no exceptions. Which is totally valid & cool too - (no beef or gatekeeping from me).
My pov is different, I can take or leave some things because I have a really big imagination. I'd like to think that Obi Wan had many great loves over time - whether kept secret or expressed openly. While I don't really care too much for the character Satine for example, (& don't know very much about her), I could totally see him with other characters like Commander Cody or even Padmè at some point in space or time - even though those relationships weren't necessarily deemed as 'canon'.
Similar Star Wars relationships of canon vs legends or 'fanon' could also be said of Luke & Mara Jade, Han Solo & Princess Leia having different children than what we've seen in the movies, various comic book pairings, Poe Dameron & General / Jedi Finn ... even Ben Solo & Rey
If certain adventures only took place in a legends universe or a fanfic universe, does that mean it never really happened?
It happened for someone.
In a daydream, or in their hearts.
Personally, I truly do not think there is a right or wrong way of viewing the things you love - as long as you're not hurting anybody in the process, your comfort characters could be whoever you envision them to be - & that's one of the greatest things about escapism. It's rooted in who we are at our very core, & who we want to be in our hearts.
There's a super hero or jedi in all of us. And if that's a 'la di da mary sue hippie dippie' way of looking at it, I respectfully don't care what anyone else has to say about it ! 🌼

26. Do you avoid eye contact?
It depends! I tend to find it real hard to talk while keeping eye contact, and when I’m reacting to something someone says I always look away too. The first one because I can’t concentrate on what I’m saying if I keep eye contact, and the second because I find it hard to do the right facial expression! In these instances it kind of feels like my eyes and the other’s are like repelling magnets. When somebody else talks I tend to look pretty intently at their eyes though😅 all this also varies depending on how well I know the person I’m talking to though!
32. What are your same foods?
- As I’m not actually a picky eater, I feel like I do have same foods but they only last for periods of time and then change! Right now I have two:
Oatmeal with hazelnut butter, flaxseed Oil, topped with peanuts and Apples! (I call it my healthy snickers-oatmeal and can 10/10 recommend!)
And a vegetarian clear soup with squash, potatoes, peppers, chili, onions and quinoa! 🍲
I’m happy eating this everyday for several weeks at a time, I really love the repetitiveness of it and it relaxes me knowing what I’m gonna be eating and not having to make decisions, and it’s pretty simple foods for me, so I never get overwhelmed with the taste, texture, or the amount of sugar or fat from them!
42. Tell us something about your special interest
- Oh Boy. It’s a difficult question to limit my answer to and I already answered this with waay too much info that none of you guys are probably interested in in the least lol😅😅
But here goes!:
• Did you know whales sleep with only one half of the brain at a time?? It’s called unhemispheric sleeping and it’s pretty cool in my opinion - that way they can keep moving to keep their body temperature up, keep an eye out for predators and make sure to swim up to the surface to breath!🐋🐋 (whales)
• The city with the largest population in most US states isn’t the state capital? I learned this when I was spending time each day memorizing the US state map and their capitals and most populous cities. Maybe this is common knowledge lol, but living in Scandinavia and not being used to this, it surprised me! (The US) (I’ve never been but I’d really like to! I often dream that I fly to the US and I get equal parts excited and scared - which is pretty much how I feel about the US cause I imagine that it’s so different from what I’m used to! Also I really don’t like flying😩)
I hope any followers of mine from the US doesn’t laugh in my face or feel like I’m being disrespectful, I really can’t help how fascinated and confused my brain is about this country!😅🥺🙃
• Tolkien partly created languages for the people of Middle Earth because there is so much culture in language, and he wanted to create well-founded cultural histories for the different people of Middle Earth (The Lord of the Rings)
• I really think fanfiction as a genre is so interesting and should be studied by way more people! It inherently has so many topics about it that would be interesting to talk about!! Queer culture, activism, political values, escapism and activism combined by creating the world you wanna see, representation, sexuality, sexpositivity, body shame, artistic motivation, what we people perceive as ‘real’ art and literature. And community! - for both all kinds of queer people and people who tend to have very intense interests! I could talk about all that for ages it’s so interesting and amazing. 😍 And lately I actually have begun to talk way more about fandom and fanfiction with a lot of my irl friends and they’ve all been interested to hear about it, and so so supportive😃

To my followers and mutuals - anyone wanna start a blog with me?:)
Hey guys! So I’ve had this plan for a while about starting a new blog and I would like to have someone or even a couple of people running it with me so I thought I would ask you guys!
I don’t imagine it to be an extremely high maintenance sort of thing, but who knows🤷♂️
I was planning on starting it with another lovely mutual/writer/blogger but, unfortunately she deemed that she might have the time after all.
The idea for the blog: to create a blog that assembles (hehe) all fandom events within either stucky or the mcu (I’m not entirely sure of that yet, but I would love to hear your input! On the one side I think it would be nice if we could include other characters and pairings, but it might be not narrow enough or just to big and messy idk).
Anyway, the idea is to have a tagging system that makes it easy to search for fandom events and to find the blogs that host the events, through our blog, so that it’s all collected in the same place and it would be easy for both people wanting to search for new events to participate in to find them without going to multiple, random search criteria or hope to stumble upon them on their dash; and for event/runners to spread the work - hopefully also making it easier to host smaller events alone for the fandom, even without having a large network!
There would be updates about signup deadlines etc, and /maybe/ some promoting/updating when posting starts - all of this only to the extent that the event hosts would want of course:)
Feel free to DM me or reply to this post if you would like to help me set the blog up and run it, or if you just have any ideas☺️
