MADRE SOLO HAY DOS SPOILERS
(otherwise known as just my thoughts on the third season). Don't read if you haven't watched it yet! :)
*******************
1. I, too, binged it while hiding from my family on Christmas.
2. Though in fact I only binged the Ana/ Mariana plotline and skipped over pretty much everything else.
3. What were the guys even doing? I don't know.
4. I liked how Ana became more involved in the LGBTQ community, learning about it and confronting her own stereotypes, but also learning about very real discrimination that had never affected her before.
5. I also liked the (brief) exploration of her sexuality and how she became super supportive of Ceci, because Ana finally understands that life is a journey.
6. However, to anyone saying that Ana is a lesbian now... do you not know how bisexuals or pansexuals work?? I'd call her queer, but not a lesbian because that's just not accurate.
7. My favourite scene was perhaps the one where Ana told Mariana about the book she wants to write one day (if anyone maybe wants to gif it?). Yes it was cheesy but it was also VERY GOOD.
8. I agree with previous opinions that Mariana's side of this story however was underdeveloped. There should have been some hints of her returning feelings for Ana and less Ferran.
9. Ferran was just randomly axed to make space for Ana, right? I mean, I'm not complaining.
10. Ana in love was very cute.
11. Ana and Mariana covering each other with blankets on separate occasions was also very cute.
12. Did anyone else notice that for the final scene, Mariana wore a necklace with a lock on it, and Ana one with a key??? Seems symbolic to me.
13. I wasn't a hundred percent sure if they were actually together at the end?? Because the way Mariana said "I love you too" and then that very brief kiss kinda felt ambiguous to me?
14. Anyways I guess they're in a long distance relationship now. But I still would have liked a clearer signal (and more kissing).
15. I don't mind that the final focus was on Tere and her baby because I actually think this entire family is a beautiful message. It's messy as hell but they all ended up where they wanted to be.
16. It's a suitable end in case this was the final season.
17. MSHD went where OUAT did not dare to go. Kudos for that.

Okay I don’t know how to screencap from Netflix anymore apparently, but all I need to say is that Ana Servín wearing a crisp, perfectly tailored white button up and jeans while riding a bicycle to go get her girl was plucked directly out of my fantasies, and I’m eternally grateful to the writers for that scene

MSHD SPOILERS (S3)
kinda disappointed in season 3, it could have been way better. i'm glad maryana is endgame but the writing was lousy and unrealistic. i understand that it is fiction and written as a telenovela but season 1 was NOT like that. tho i have to say i am happy that they all came to their senses and decided to do what was best for the babies. none of that season 2 bullshit that i actually loathed
might fuck around and write a fix-it fic but there is so much to fix it would have to be a series of alternate endings/scenes
ana should have dated tamara
the mariana/feran break up came out of nowhere, she should have just realised she loved ana and left.
and i wish ana had just shown up in her pyjamas in the middle of the night to tell mariana she loved her. i found the bike scene super awkward

After watching the trailer for s3 I would prefer if the ex husband stay as a parent of his childs and that's it instead of giving so much trouble.
I don't hate him neither Pablo as much but they continue messing them up with their obssesion.
Yeah, I'm kind of done with the male exes but in a way I'm glad that these are their arcs for the season, since that means they'll probably end the show having to learn to accept that their places will just be as fathers and not romantically involved.
On the other hand, I wish we didn't have Ferran being bad with kids as his arc, because that possibly foreshadows him learning to be good with them as his season's story, leaving him open to be Mariana's endgame. If he'd been the perfect guy, that'd have made it seem less likely to me, since that's too boring to start and end a season on.
I'm suddenly less confident about an f/f endgame because I've had the night to think on it and, well, Netflix has not been the most supportive of f/f of late (have they even done any f/f holiday movies this year? I figured at least that would become a tradition). Of course, every creator is mostly making their own decisions, so how this show ends is independent of all the others, but that in itself is a reminder to me to not factor in another show's main f/f for this one. On paper, it still looks like it absolutely should end just one way, but... I will be optimistic but vigilant. :o

Ana's mom sussing out Mariana and Ferran gives me life. I need her to tell Ana.
Anyone else think Ana and Mariana's conversations have been shallow at the start of the season? I need ANGST. I need DEPTH.
I thought we were gonna get the full on faking dating AU come to life with dates, sleeping in the same bed, PDA etc...
