okay but have we thought about pro athlete atsumu miya who everyone thirsts over on twitter and he’s got this total rep for being this hot manwhore who will never settle down but in all actuality, atsumu miya has NEVER been in a relationship…. not by choice and NOT because he “can’t commit” as people like to assume. every girl he’s tried connecting with has assumed he’s not the guy to settle down with or they always think he’s playing games with them when he’s actually being sincere and when he truly likes someone, he’s a bit of a dork. meanwhile, reader is a writer for japan’s top sports channel and after getting your heart broken one too many times, you decide to swear off all men indefinitely. no. more. dates. they never end well!!! except you’re given a six month long assignment where you do a weekly piece starring each player on the msby jackals, and this means you’re surrounded by nothing but guys who are the whole package. this is not good!!! so who do you find yourself spending the most time with???

atsumu miya, the one who you’re certain will not want anything serious. which is great. because if anything happens (not like it WILL — you had to sign so many contracts to get this gig and you are not gonna let a man, even one as hot as him, ruin this for you), it’s not as if anything deeper will take root. after all, you’ve heard the stories: atsumu miya does not date. which is fantastic, uhhh, because YOU also don’t date.

but atsumu miya has come to the conclusion that maybe it’s time for him to stop being upfront with his feelings; maybe he gets too serious too fast, and it chases them away. so the more time he spends with you, the more he realizes that he realllly likes you. like, in a date-y way. but he doesn’t want to make it seem like he’s trying to be exclusive asap (even if that’s what he really wants) so he holds back. and when any time the two of you DO hang out, the both of you are quick to assure the other that “this is not a date”.

dinner for two? not a date. no way. you both just coincidentally happened to be hungry at the same time and it’s only convenient for you two to go together since it’s dark outside and atsumu’s mother raised him to be a gentleman, which is why he decided to accompany you. tokyo is a dangerous city, yknow!!

going to the movies together? what is this? high school? that barely constitutes as a date, and btw, this IS NOT!!! a date. you two are just horribly late to pop culture trends & it just makes sense to see the movie together since y’all are the last two people who haven’t watched it yet.

but the more time you two spend on these not-dates, the more you realize that atsumu miya is not like the stories make him out to be. 🤭🤭🤭

this is just a lil fic concept that i might end up writing but i have this cheesy lil ending to it where atsumu is all smiling and shit like a lovesick puppy and he’s like “hi. i’m atsumu miya, and i am in love with you. sorry if i’m moving too fast.” and you’re like “gee, we haven’t even had our first date yet.” but you’re all smile-y too and he says “sorry, i get ahead of myself sometimes. i’m working on it. what i meant to say was may i take you out on a date?” and some back and forth banter until finally you tell him the last line of the fic —

“it’s a date.”

Do Ae Ran (Song Yoon Ah) and Yoon Jin Tae (Kim Tae Hoon) are married. They once loved each other however they are not happy anymore. Kim Jin Tae has numerous affairs with women while Do Ae Ran dedicates herself to her work. Although she used to be a bright and energetic person, she now mostly keeps to herself and carries an air of melancholy around her.

Kim Jin Tae’s father dies suddenly. At the funeral, Jin Tae catches a glimpse of his estranged half-brother, Yoon Je Ha (Jang Seung Jo). Yoon Je Ha and his mother have had a complicated relation with his father and he doesn’t dare to come to close, for fear of being confronted by JIn Tae’s mother.

After their father is laid to rest, Jin Tae and Je Ha meet. Jin Tae then proposes a job to Je Ha, who is direly in need of money.

Yoon Je Ha comes to Do Ae Ran’s restaurant under the identity of Jin Tae’s younger friend. Ae Ran accepts to give him a chance as a cook and observes him attentively.

Yoon Je Ha is a bit dark, a bit mysterious, and a bit soft. He reminds Ae Ran of days spent under a warm blanket while the rain pours endlessly. She comes to appreciate his presence and the comfort he brings into her life.

As they grow closer, Ae Ran realises that she is attracted to him. She ignores that Je Ha was paid by her husband to seduce her so he could get a divorce.

Meanwhile, Je Ha has fallen in love with his sister-in-law and becomes less and less inclined to follow his domineering half-brother’s plan.
