Star Wars Outlaws Game Overview Trailer

Ubisoft, Lucasfilm Games, and Massive Entertainment's Star Wars: Outlaws is an open-world, third-person, action-adventure game set between the events of Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The underworld is set to take advantage of the Empire's ongoing war with the Rebels to make it rich. Outlaw Kay Vess agrees to rob one such criminal leader in order to earn her own freedom.

Well, that last post was a total lie. It's MY character!

I was thinking of starting an indie game some point, which it'll be in the art style of Day of the Tentacle.

The idea of the game is to pretty much bring back the weird sci-fi aesthetics of 80s and 90s games (and films). The BG currently is from Day of the Tentacle, it won't be in the game due to copyright.

I was even thinking of shaping the worlds and planets off of both the zones from Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) and Planet X from Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 century (1952).

I haven't thought of an overall story or goal yet but I'll come up with one some point.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - Xbox Developer Direct Gameplay Reveal Trailer

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hails from MachineGames, Lucasfilm Games, and executive producer Todd Howard. The music is by composer Gordy Haab. The game takes place between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Sinister forces are searching the globe for an ancient power connected to the Great Circle.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person, single-players action adventure, though the game will also feature some third person scenes as well. Players will reportedly have quite a lot of freedom in combat and exploration with the ability to choose whether to engage or sneak around enemies and several optional puzzles. Indy's iconic whip can be used in combat, exploration, and as a distraction.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch in 2024.
