Yea, I know, my depiction of Crash is very self-indulgent. Even though I read the comic's just after watching the movie (back when it was released), when I imagine the characters tend to lean towards the comic's version (and, well, now the anime, but they are pretty similar). But in the case of Crash, I just took Erik Knudsen and ran with it lmao

A bit of a rarepair but could I req some general stuff for Crash from crash and the boys x young neil?
i think this is the best rarepair i have ever encoutered I LOVE RAREPAIRS SO MUCH i hope that i did crash justice xD (he deserved more screen time)
crash x young neil
both of them are very "no thoughts, head empty" but in two very different ways
crash is colder, a little rude, and easily annoyed when he's egged on
young neil is just constantly confused
neil definitely mellows out crash
it's like the "evil guy x sunshine" trope
if anyone were to ever even BOTHER neil, crash is sending verbal death threats
crash likes playing video games and neil knows a lot about video game lore, so he's basically a guidebook whenever crash is playing
neil often tells crash he thinks his song titles are hilarious
i feel like a lot of people forget that neil can play bass............
since him n crash play relatively similar instruments, sometimes they'll be practicing together and they switch instruments for funsies
crash holds a lighthearted joking grudge against neil because crash and the boys lost to sex bob-omb
for example, neil openly wears crash's merch
crash insists that he would rather die than put on a sex bob-omb shirt
so he says
he definitely doesn't wear it was pajamas like every single night
also, neither of them should be living on their own
they usually get takeout because neither of them are good in the kitchen
their clothes are lumped together so neither of them can really tell whose are whose
but they make due :33
